Came here for dinner on the company dime so that's already a good start. However, as a professional Yelp reviewer (/s) I'll try not to let it influence me too much. There was a good number of us. I'd say around 20 or more. We were able to get seated in a private space towards the back of the restaurant. The wait staff were all nice and quick with their service. Everyone got their drinks soon and then we were all able to order. The chips and salsa were pretty standard. I like that they have the salsa in a larger glass and have small bowls for everyone to pour so it's closer. For apps, our part of the apple got queso, guac, and shrimp quesadillas. The queso and guac were great! I definitely recommend those as additional dips for your chips. The shrimp quesadilla was also good. I would get again! For my main, I got the brisket tacos. The charro beans were solid, good flavor. Now the tacos themselves were alright - it was a bit mild in terms of the flavor. I also got them on corn tacos. I would say that was a mistake. The brisket itself had a lot of juice so it drained through the tacos and made it a bit difficult to eat. Maybe flour tacos would have been the better move. The redeeming aspects of the plate were the avocados which added a nice creamy texture and the Spanish rice which I thought was particularly good here. Again, company dime so I didn't get the honor of seeing the final bill. We did have to pay the individual tab for alcohol though. In that regard, I do want to note that two friends got margaritas. It was happy hour so both should have been happy hour prices. Nonetheless, one was and the other wasn't. Of course, I don't think this was malicious or intentional - it was just inconvenient. In the future, I certainly don't mind coming again for some solid Tex-Mex.

We had an amazing time at this Mexican restaurant. They welcomed us and we felt well received. Chips and salsa were great and so was the queso. Loved the ambience and delicious food. We will be back.

The food was pretty bland and didn't taste very fresh. We also got drinks off their happy hour menu and they were way too strong and just not good. The portion size and pricing was good here. And our server was nice. The food was just not very flavorful compared to other restaurants in the area.

We had another beautiful evening at Fort Worth's Los Vaqueros. I ordered the brisket tacos with double beans and my husband had chicken tacos. We ate every bite! The tacos were juicy but not greasy. The beans were tasty and flavorful. The chicken tacos came with a side of vegetables and a green sauce. It was all very tasty! I enjoyed a margarita swirl and the complimentary chips n salsa while we awaited our meal. The salsa is to die for! The server was hospitable and checked on us often enough. The restrooms are clean and there is paid parking ($10) in a nearbyish lot, unless you find a spot on the streets nearby. Drop your elderly people or disabled as close as possible, then go park. In other words there is some walking involved , but it's not that big of a deal. We enjoyed the walk after a good dinner. Put your boots n hats on and enjoy Cowtown!

The food and service was beyond my expectations!! Their house margarita with a tajin rim was my favorite! The chicken enchiladas with their savory cram sauce is the best I have had in along time. Salsa is authentic and so good with their complementary chips!! Restaurant to stop by at the stock yards!!

We were a party of 8 and we were seated right away on a Saturday at 2 PM. Armando was our server and not only was he very efficient and friendly, he was a lot of fun!! The chips and spicy salsa were excellent. I ordered the two spinach and mushroom enchiladas, which were delicious! I love the new location and building; it's huge! Park in the lot near Cooper barbecue instead of the Stockyards lot; you will save $12.73!!

We've been to this place many times and normally we go for brunch the day after a concert or the day after spending a weekend in this stockyards and we normally love it but last night was terrible first we had reservations and still got seated in 45 minutes after our reservation time next they set the set table for four and we had six people so it was extremely crowded. our food was cold by the time it came out it just honestly didn't taste very good. Not sure what's happened here in the last two months but last night was terrible.

Atmosphere on the patio is ok but the food is so-so. There are better places to go for Tex-Mex

The Hubby and I were on date night continuing our "Eating the Alphabet" around the DFW area (check…read moreus out on YouTube: HowWeDoHWD), and even though it was chilly outside, we couldn't resist stopping by Melt on Magnolia in Fort Worth. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, sunshine-filled space that smelled absolutely divine--fresh, homemade waffle cones baking and filling the room with happiness. The staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and even offered samples (yes please!), which made choosing a flavor both fun and deliciously difficult. After a few tastes, I landed on Sweet Cream and Cookie Crush--and wow. The sweet cream was classic and comforting, instantly reminding me of my grandmother's homemade ice cream. The cookie crush brought bold flavor: rich, house-made dark chocolate cookies folded into salty vanilla ice cream. The perfect balance of sweet, salty, and indulgent. Pros: Warm and happy aesthetic, heavenly cone smells, and super friendly staff. Cons: The inside is a bit small with limited seating--but during warmer days, the outdoor patio offers plenty of space to enjoy your scoop. I will absolutely be returning to Melt. It's cozy, nostalgic, and full of flavor--definitely worth the stop, no matter the weather.
