The owner personally reached out to me--even while overseas--to listen to my concerns and make things right. Both he and the project manager communicated clearly and professionally the second time around, and they addressed all of the issues I raised within a week. The craftsmanship was corrected, the cleanup concerns were taken seriously, and I appreciated their willingness to own the missteps and follow through quickly. Not every project goes perfectly, but how a company responds makes all the difference--and in this case, they really stepped up. I'm happy to give them a full five stars for the way they resolved everything.

He even walked through and pointed out different items that I hadn't thought about in options for my fencing needs. He was great at communicating whether it was on phone, text, or email. I appreciated the great communication during the project as well. The fencing was done by a father-son team, and they were efficient, diligent, and did a high quality job. The entire job took three days which was fantastic considering it was four different households whose fences were affected. He was able to come out the next day and sent an estimate that night. He took a lot of pictures of our roof outside and in our attic. We scheduled the job and he exceeded our expectations. Hugo replaced shingles, addressed issues in the attic and examined the rest of the roof. I appreciate that Hugo was early to the initial consultation and the work appointment. He completed our request and then some. The company name says St Joseph Roofing and Deck Repair but he can do much more than that. More recently, Hugo installed laminate flooring on our uneven floor. To minimize debris, he took the planks down our steep stairs to make each cut outside. Highly recommend.

He even found the particular deck stain that we wanted. Hugo and a helper moved some large flower pots and so forth off of the decks to be cleaned, and came back the day after they finished the staining to move them back again. His crew did a great job cleaning the deck, and even went beyond by cleaning adjacent areas that were not technically part of the deck itself. In the end they made sure that we were satisfied, and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. The whole large job took only two days, and at a very fair price!

I sought out several estimates and chose to hire this company to work on my automatic swing gate that had been inoperable for several years. Gio estimate for my job was extremely reasonable. Accepting the invoice and scheduling the job was quick and painless When I called to ask questions Gio was the one I spoke to every time. He answered all my questions about the estimate. He was always kind, understanding and professional each time and I called quite a few times with questions. If he couldn't get my call the first time he would call right back, even without me leaving a message. Day 1 - Gio arrived at my property on time and after going over the job with me his crew got right to work. I appreciate that Gio wore a face mask at all times when discussing the job with me. He briefed his crew and left them to work. He'd be be back to go over their work. The crew knew exactly what they were doing and didn't waste any time getting started with pulling off the doors and removing the inoperable arms and old system. Everyone was very respectful of me and my property while they were here on the job. My swing Gate was working again in two days, as promised. All tools and materials were picked up and disposed of plus anything that was disturbed/moved in my yard was put back as they found it. At the end of day 2 (mid day) Gio came back to go over the job with me and show me the new system and how it works (again he wore a mask as did I). While the deck was not very large, it had some complexity including planning around a new hot tub. Jaime prepared our estimate and was the project manager. He quickly understood what we wanted and offered ideas over the course of the project. When not on site, he was available by phone at any time. Brian and Louie (spelling?) were with us for all 9 days of construction. I was very impressed by their craftmanship and willingness to work through the inevitable issues that come up. Other guys helped occasionally during the project and worked very hard. Overall, I would enthusiastically recommend Aloha! (In fact I've already given their information to my daughter-in-law.) It was originally aggregate, but had cracked and worn away in several places. The driveway was a bit steep making it worse, so sometimes our car would scrape along the bottom. We finally decided to tear it all out and install a new one. Mr Gutierrez came out for the estimate which was very reasonable compared to the others. He even included a free sealant. His crew, which are all relatives in his family-run business did excellent work. Marcos, who is the "foreman" was very communicative all the while. I highly recommend this company.
