This is a really fun place to listen to live music. The band we saw played from 6 - 10 pm. Tropical…read morethemed... sand... palm trees. Fun! They have frozen drinks! Lots of room to dance or sit at a table. Food was terrible. I'm not a fussy eater and it just wasn't good. Menu is limited. I got the taco box w beef tacos. Not good. My friend got the chicken tenders. Didn't come with anything and were below average. Service was not great. I sat at the bar and every time I needed a drink or to place my food order, I had to physically wave the bartender over. She wouldn't just take the que of me standing there staring at her w an empty cup. Parking - need to find a spot on the street and pay w ParkMobile. There are a few lots in the area that use ParkMobile but they were full when we were looking. We finally found a space a few blocks away for free. In summary, I'd def return for some drinks and live music!

You don't go to the tiki bar for cheesesteak sandwiches! Hang out spot in wildwood with open space,…read moresand everywhere, and live music. The food wasn't the best. Possibly the worst cheesesteak sandwich I ever had. Regular bread, Nacho Cheese Sauce, Not packed with meat, and served with side of fresh cut potato chips which was possibly the best thing on the plate although it tasted like it was over cooked. Shawns Cheesesteak down the block is a better place to go. Tried the "Crispy Shrimp and Mango" (not pictured) from a friend which I was originally going to get. The waitress told me it came with 3pcs so i passed on it because 3 shrimps for $15.50 is crazy work. When it came out my friend told me it actually came with 5 pieces which was a little better. The taste was actually pretty good nice size pieces and a mix of sweetness and spiciness One thing i will also add... If customers are paying to eat, you shouldn't charge them the $5 entry fee. It'll leave a bitter taste in their mouth especially since the food wasn't good.

We reserved a room with a queen size bed and balcony. The bed was not a queen size, it was a full size. We could not use the balcony most of the week because the AC units were dripping down from each floor so we would get wet. If you wanted to use the toilet, you would have to open the shower door to actually sit on the thrown. The carpets were nasty. The wall had moisture in it and was peeling. We went down to speak with the front desk workers and found that it was the manager. I was trying to express my concerns and complaints and the manager starting getting loud and cocky and telling me to stop threatening her. If I was threatening her, then why not call the authorities. The inside or outside bar was open 1 day the whole week. The pool floor was peeling and chips were going into the filter system. Could not use the jacuzzi because the pump was off and the water was green. The only good thing about this place was the lady that cleans the rooms. We don't like people in our rooms so we always had a basket at our door with fresh towels and toilet paper. Then it was check out time. We go to the desk to check out and was asked by the manager of how our stay was. My response was horrible and she asked what was wrong. We just said, give us the paperwork so we can leave and she asked again. We said that we already tried telling the complaints but I was threatening. She then said, oh it's you and gave us our paperwork. We will no longer stay at this hotel. They need to get new management in there and actually do real updates.

It's a great location! Right on the boardwalk. Easy walk to the beach and close to Seaport Pier…read more Adam's Restaurant below is fabulous. We have been staying here every summer with our family for the past 23 years. My kids were babies and are now in their 20's! Sometimes coming down multiple times in a season. We have many good memories from our stays here. But unfortunately our last stay (8/2025) was so bad that we need a break from this place. Sorry for the delay in review, but I have been meaning to write this and now that summer is upon us, now is a good time. We had Issues with the appliances, cleanliness, and the room in general. The refrigerator was not maintaining a food safe temperature, causing our food to spoil, toaster not working, and sliding balcony door not closing completely. Called the front desk to let them know about the problems, especially the broken refrigerator and asked for our food loss to be reimbursed. It was our 1st night down with a fridge full of cold cuts and dairy products ruined the next morning. We discovered it while packing lunches for the beach. We received nothing but rudeness from the woman at the front desk. She refused to refund the perished food, was accusatory, and just awful. The only good thing was she had sent up a maintenance man right away. He replaced the fridge (his thermometer validated the temperature), replaced the toaster, and fixed the glass door so it would close and lock. Food is not cheap, so I wanted to talk to the manager. She gave me a time frame as to when he would be at the hotel. He was difficult to track down, but once we did (on our last day), he did make things right and reimbursed us for the spoiled food. Also 4 adults in a room and only supplied with 2 washcloths and 2 bath towels by housekeeping is not acceptable. Especially after a long beach day. There were 4 people on the reservation, shouldn't the room be supplied for 4 people? Not 2 people? Did receive more washcloths and towels after asking.

Booking an Oceanfront Room Here Feels Like a Lottery…read more We stayed at Montego Bay Resort twice and booked an oceanfront room both times. The biggest issue is the significant variation between oceanfront rooms. They can be on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th floor. A 6th-floor room offers a direct ocean view and privacy, while a 3rd-floor room opens onto the shared pool terrace, where people can walk directly past your windows. We regularly observed cigarette smoking there and, at times, marijuana. The hotel does not guarantee a specific room or floor. Even when your room has already been assigned, they will not disclose the room number or floor before arrival. This naturally leaves everyone booking "oceanfront" hoping for one of the best locations, while you may already be assigned to the 3rd floor facing the public terrace and simply not know it until you arrive. Our first stay was on the 6th floor with an excellent direct ocean view. On our second stay, we received a 4th-floor oceanfront room, but the AC was extremely loud -- approximately 70-75 dB at night. At that level, relaxing or sleeping was extremely difficult even with earplugs. If you expect to relax and sleep well with the AC running, do not count on it. The AC later froze, and falling ice from inside the unit woke us during the night as it thawed. The thermostat was around 75°F, the balcony door was closed, and the AC was being used normally. We were told it froze because it had been running too long or was set too low, which should not cause a properly functioning AC to freeze. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and several times we had to get clean towels ourselves. There were no "Do Not Disturb" signs. The kitchens are useful, but the nonstick cookware we saw was heavily scratched. The problem is not that the rooms fail to qualify as oceanfront. It is the substantial difference within that category and the hotel's refusal to disclose your assigned room or even floor before arrival. For the price, guests should be able to know what they are getting and decide whether it is acceptable before they arrive. Until then, booking an oceanfront room here feels like a lottery.

As a regular at Honky Tonk, I would like to address the review/comment from Rosanna from California…read moreand share what personally witnessed Wednesday night August 12, 2026. There are many of us who are regulars and genuinely love line dancing. We don't just dance in Wildwood-we travel to several other cities and states to dance, and we have a great time wherever we go. One thing I have consistently found in the line dancing community is that dancers are courteous and respectful of one another, regardless of skill level. We welcome beginners and are usually more than happy to help newcomers learn. We also support Honky Tonk because we enjoy being there. The staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is great, and while the dance floor itself may not be our favorite, we love Ashley, our DJ, and happily show up to support her as well. I watched Wednesday night's incident unfold from beginning to end, and what I witnessed was very different from what has been portrayed. There were several small children on the dance floor, directly in the line of dance. The adults dancing were doing their best to avoid running into them. At one point, I watched a couple of women repeatedly move away from the children to avoid a collision. Meanwhile, the children's mom appeared to find the situation funny and stood nearby laughing rather than moving the children to a safer area. When the song ended, I saw one of the dancers leave the floor, and the children's mother approached her. I moved closer and was able to hear their conversation. The dancer politely explained that the children needed to stay farther back and out of the dancers' path because she was concerned someone might accidentally run into them and hurt them. The mother's response was confrontational. She asked, "how far do you want them to go back?" And then commented about the woman being an advanced dancer. The dancer again explained that she simply did not want to accidentally collide with one of the children and have someone get hurt. The mother then accused the dancer of being rude. From what I personally witnessed, the dancer had not been rude. The situation escalated when the mother moved into the dancer's personal space and raised her hand towards her. From where I was standing, which was quite close, I saw the dancer push/slap the woman's hand away in response. I know this dancer from attending Honky Tonk regularly. I have never known her to cause problems. In my experience, she is a kind person, and I enjoy being around her. Line dancing is supposed to be fun, and beginners should absolutely feel welcome on the dance floor. But there is also a difference between beginners learning a dance vs very young children running and jumping around in the dancers' path. With dancers moving forward, backwards, sideways, turning, and sometimes unable to see directly behind them, that creates a legitimate safety concern for everyone-especially children. Parents also have the responsibility to supervise young children and keep them out of the direct path of an organized line dance. Expecting an entire dance floor of adults to maneuver around children who are running and jumping through the line of dance is neither reasonable nor safe. I was there. I watched the interaction closely, and I wanted to share what I personally witnessed because there are two sides to every story. It was an unfortunate and embarrassing situation that could have been avoided with a little courtesy, supervision, and respect for everyone using the dance floor. On another note, I believe Honky Tonk management needs to do a better job of handling situations like this quickly, rather than allowing the line dancers to be blamed or penalized when problems arise. If Wednesday nights from 7-11 are designated for line dancing, then management, should make sure the dance floor is being used safely and appropriately. That includes stepping in when people-whether adults or children-are repeatedly standing, running, or dancing in the path of the line dancers and creating an unsafe situation. The regular dancers should not be expected to spend the entire night dodging people who are intentionally interfering with the line of dance. Management needs to recognize when a situation is escalating and address it before it turns not a confrontation between customers. We support Honky Tonk (for now), its staff and Wednesday line-dancing nights, which is exactly why I think this needs to be said. A designated line-dancing night should have reasonable expectations for dance-floor etiquette and safety, and management should be willing to enforce them consistently. That protects the dancers, the children, other customers, and ultimately the establishment itself. If the regular line-dancing community begins to feel that Honky Tonk does not support us or provide a safe and respectful environment for Wednesday night line-dancing, many of us will reconsider whether we continue coming.
