We visited at 4:30 on a Sunday, restaurant was very empty and for some reason the service still lacked. The table was not bussed often to clear small plates. We had to ask a couple of times for extra glasses. Waiter was friendly enough though. Other than that, Ambiance was amazing. This restaurant is a whole photo op vibe. You feel like you are on a resort or something. The music is amazing although I wish we had asked if they could turn up the volume just a little. Food was good, no complaints from anyone and what they ordered. The sampler appetizer was awesome and gave a little taste of everything. Great place for a birthday or gals day. The patio is to die for and has a 21+ area which is nice! They also have a kids area with a boat play area that makes it family friendly as well! We will def be back!

Would give it five stars but the tiny bowl of chips took it. They serve large portions of everything else and even give you your own salsa and bean dip but only one small bowl of chips for a table four. We repeatedly asked for chip chips chips probably five to six times. Son ordered steak and eggs and loved it while daughter ordered pulled pork tacos. I had fajitas and they were pretty good. Ordered 2 margaritas and they were okay nothing extraordinary. Overall liked it. Will go back.

Cute place, great patio, good service, and great food and drinks. W head several dishes and appetizer and all were very good. A mixture of brunch and lunch and we cannot complain. The drinks were very good, not too strong, but just strong enough. Patio is covered in spots so you don't get blasted. We went on a Sunday around 2PM and while some area of the patio were busy, ours was not. It was almost empty inside, but beautifully decorated and great bars.

So the ambiance is everything it's the best part of the restaurant. I love the decor it's truly cool and you can take some AMAZING pictures. The Margarita was good, but it's just your average Margarita. Nothing special, however I enjoyed the drink better than my food. I started out with a taco. It was mediocre and not very flavorful or good. I honestly would have preferred Taco Bell. The queso was blah and could have been hotter. So I wasn't pleased at all. I will say the salsa was tasty and the 2nd batch of chips were yummy. My first bunch of chips were crumbs. Like they were at the bottom of a bag. Overall I wouldn't go back. I think this place has some great Instagram photo opportunities. My waiter was pleasant. I couldn't even order any more food. I'm like if the taco and queso are disappointing I better leave. My friend who joined me felt the same. This was her 2nd time trying it. So this is a NO for me. My favorite part the atmosphere and decor.

Your vision sensories will explode as you walk into Lost Colony. Each room has a different theme for you to choose. It was a beautiful Saturday, so we chose to sit outside on the patio. We loved the idea that they have an adults only patio in addition to one that allows children. Drinks were spectacular! I highly recommend the spicy magarita(made with poblano peppers). You will have to request as it's not a menu item. All the food was so fresh! We went light with just guac and tacos, and all hit the spot. I felt the shrimp tacos were a little on the pricy side for 2 tacos($19), but lemme tell you, they didn't disappoint. Fresh ingredients, and they filled me up! Service was top-notch. She didn't rush us through. She let us enjoy every aspect of the drinks and appetizer before we ordered. We will definitely be back to check out the vibes at night, and I want to try those enchiladas!

Beautiful place! Gorgeous. On a busy road but tucked away- lots of parking. Incredible aesthetic! Lovely for dinner. They don't take reservations but you can put your name in the Yelp wait list. We were seated within 20 minutes on Saturday night. We sat at the bar waiting for a table. Service was ok at the bar, bar tender didn't seem friendly. Meh. Headed back to our table. We had to wait for a good minute before a sweet young lady took our drink orders. She was really fantastic! Intro- We always love a good chips and salsa moment- the chips however were too thin and not very flavorful. The salsa was too citrusy- we were hoping for a light tomato chipotle flavor when we saw the color. Next- calamari was beautifully plated, but the onion decor on top was making the little amount of calamari. $18 is also a bit pricey for the appetizer. Very tasty though- just not enough bite for the buck. Main- we did the fajitas- Flavorful chicken, steak was a bit chewy. Sides were good but nothing extraordinary. Food was not spectacular. For the price the portions could be bigger. Four stars for our waitress, she was epic and made celebrating a birthday pretty fantastic! She really went all out. She gifted us the dessert and it was really delicious and interested flavor profile and texture.

Let me say this service was excellent..Ambiance was beautiful but food was garbage.. I am from California and I love authentic Mexican food... my review could be biased because I love authenticity When it comes to crispy tacos I am not looking for taco bell shells. they have someone making freshly made tortillas why give me that generic taco shell when you can make that crispy and delicious. I am not a TEXMEX fan.. I love authentic. Why is my protein on top of the enchilada. I don't get that. Tres Leche cake was horrible.. it was hard and no consistency. My favorite is Mexican food. come with some al pastor, carne asada, carnitas.. . need some authenticity with love and not commercial food.

Let's start with the service. It was a good experience overall, server was on point and hostess seated us right away, something that most restaurants are lacking nowadays. The food was very good, we ordered the nachos and a side of cheese to start. Both my wife and I ordered the fajitas. Booooy, the fajitas were soooo good, it's probably one of my favorite places for fajitas now. Great portion, tender and flavorful meat Ambience was great, not too loud but it was just perfect for us to have a conversation and a good time. The drinks, speechless, they're just really good or I was just thirsty lol I'd totally recommend it and I will totally come back

It pains me to give this place 3 stars as I REALLY wanted to like Hugo's Lost Colony. Starting on a positive note: the restaurant is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Honestly the prettiest restaurant I've ever been to. It feels like a tropical paradise vacation without having to book a plane ticket. Drinks: We went for a Sunday brunch. The LC Swirl was quite strong, which was unexpected as it was in the brunch drinks menu. I'm not the biggest fan of alcohol but the strawberry margarita was pretty refreshing and tolerable. Food: The fried calamari was amazing. The calamari was cooked well and the tomatillo sauce was delicious. Unfortunately, that was the only dish I would recommend. On the other hand, the Al Pastor Potato Hash was the most horrendous dish I've had at a restaurant. The artificial pineapple taste was overbearing, almost as if a pineapple Bath & Body Works scent was sprayed all over the food. However, our waiter was really nice and took it back. I wasn't a fan of the Steak Chile relleno either. I thought it would be deep fried and filled with more cheese, but this version of the "chile relleno" here tasted more like a soggy stuffed poblano pepper with a scant amount of cheese. The steak was nice, but I didn't care for rice and sauce. As a Gen Z-er sucker for aesthetics, I still think is a great place to go if you like to dress up, take cute pictures, and have a fun time with friends without having high expectations for mind-blowing food. Perhaps we'll have better luck next time with the other menu items!

Not the cheapest at 13 bucks but not the worst either; and it was massive. Every ingredient was delicious, salsas were on point, never had fries in a burrito but its a solid addition; you can choose between guac or sour cream, i chose guac and thats def the way to go. 10/10, will be coming back more for sure! So glad this place is really close to my house! Surprised it wasnt busier tbh cause the food hits. Great job guys! Please dont ever leave because i like you and this city NEEDS better food options

After several attempts to place my order, I pulled up to the window, only to realize the employee working the drive‑thru didn't speak English. I understand it's a Mexican restaurant, but the drive‑thru position requires clear communication with customers. Having someone there who can't communicate in English makes it extremely difficult for English‑speaking customers to order and creates a frustrating experience. If you want to serve all customers effectively, it would help to have someone bilingual--English and Spanish--working the drive‑thru. I tried multiple times to order and was never able to because we simply couldn't understand each other.
