Good music, good pizza, good loaded fries! Nice atmosphere here, cozy with the pizza oven right there, our waiter answered all our questions and encouraged us to try the loaded fries- which were so good! Our pizza was a thin crust that came out of the oven so fast! Nice to have a local beer too!

What a wood fired pizza oven. The real thing. We shared three pizzas and all were commendable. The salads were "healthy" salads and the draft beer was superb. We had an exemplary server and a very enjoyable time here.

After a really long day of going to vineyards we stopped at Lost Province for dinner. It was good but my husband and I both thought the menu had changed since the last time we were there. I had the fish and chips and it was very good. My husband had the burger and it was cooked the way he likes it. Service was good and there was live music that night and it was very good too

We stopped in for dinner. Everything was excellent! You can taste the quality of their ingredients. All the good is homemade, and fresh. We had a very nice server who was friendly. The restaurant wasn't too crowded or big, so you could really enjoy the setting. My husband loved the beer as well

Being new to downtown Boone, NC, this was a great find on a rainy day. Found a close paid parking spot which was tough during a move in day at App State. We sat at the bar next to the Wood Fire Oven. We were amazed at the talent of the pizza chef, Rae as she fired up vegetables, wings, pretzels and of course pizza! Rae was very friendly and informative as we had so many questions about her craft. Food 5/5: Seasonal wood fired shishito peppers, The Lost Province Pizza upon recommendation of our server. The apples and goat cheese was a pleasant surprise. Drinks 5/5: Boone Light Lager,Boone Oktoberfest & Lost Province IPA. Serve for food and drinks at the bar a 5/5.

The line out the door should have been my first clue that this would be an experience. The food was really good but did take forever. It was the day after Thanksgiving so we knew anywhere would take a while. We were lucky and snagged 5 seats at the bar! We were lucky because it would have been over an hour wait if not. The Pizza oven chef provided a great experience telling us about the food. The place has a lovely outdoor door area that is covered and heated. The hummus is homemade and delicious!

I can't believe I just visited here for the first time. After student orientation at App State, we got a wood fired pizza and a seasonal side of corn. Both really delicious. I like their beer and it was fun to finally go to the brewery/taproom. We had the absolute sweetest waiter! I am excited to return and try other things from the menu, some wonderful vegetarian options, and I love that seasonal menu, even though they were out of a few things on it. My only complaint, and I do mean only! is that the pizza came out not very hot. I know that sometimes happens at places with the wood fired oven, but this one was really cheesy and needed to be served hot.

Been coming to Lost P. for years and it never disappoints. Some of the absolute best Beer, pizza, wings and charcuterie in The High Country. There's almost always a wait but be patient. It is definitely worth it.

Stopped in here for dinner during the week. Had a couple flights and overall the beer was good, but nothing seriously noteworthy. Had the fried chicken sandwich with french fries and it was excellent, although I didn't dig their housemade ketchup for the fries. Service was very hit and miss throughout our time here.

First time visiting Lost Province, had a positive experience. They were fairly busy but we didn't have too bad of a wait. Not much room inside for waiting and it was dang cold out so just kind of stood near the host station. Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed but overall did a good job. All staff seemed friendly and helpful. Our food and drinks were very tasty. The vibe is upbeat and fun. The pretzel starter seemed to be made of seasoned pizza crust vs a traditional pretzel, it was a good texture and tasted great with the beer cheese and spicy mustard. I got the Lost Province Pizza and loved it. There was just enough country ham to add a "zing" without it being too salty or overpowering. It was a nice compliment to the apples and goat cheese. My companions loved their Lost Province burgers. My husband got the brat and said it was good.

Great food excellent service pretty restaurant. We had at the table a cheeseboard, burger, a portobello burger and a pizza. Recommend if you're in the area.

Craft beer and cider, farm to table offerings and an insanely tasty one of a kind sweet beer pizza on a delicious cracker crust makes for a delicious lunch/ dinner. Slow service made me give it less stars but the food was excellent.

Our trip to Lost Province was used as a pre-dinner snack and beer stop to give us energy to power through the many local stores in Boone, so this was not our typical meal experience. Having been here before, we wanted to try something different, so we settled on the loaded fries. We both commented how the loaded fries were too salty and the beer cheese was rather bland. We made sure to toss the fries within the basket so that all of the fries could be coated in beer cheese, as the toppings were mainly on top and not layered throughout. The beer, however, was excellent. The Hipster Juice IPA was refreshing and the Cowboy Coffee blonde had a complex taste but a light finish. If I had to do it again, I would have also gotten the blonde (it was that good and unexpected) and we would've gotten the pretzel. We have a thing for grainy mustards, and after we sent back our food order we Googled the mustard and found out we'd like it The service wasn't really stellar, and our seating location on the small platform literally put us elevated for all to see. I know now I prefer the seating on the second level with the view of the pizza oven and brewing operations. We do really love this place, but it just didn't knock it out of the park this time. With different food and seating, I'm hopeful our next experience will be better.

It might have just been the holiday rush, but I always figure "busy means good," so my expectations were high--and The Local didn't disappoint. We started with the nachos; they were delicious, though I do wish they came with a bit more meat. For mains, the burger was outstanding--probably one of the best we've had in the entire area. We also ordered the Brazilian steak, which was cooked perfectly and came with great plantains. The quinoa with tofu was good, too, though it was a little dry and would have been perfect with a sauce. The service really stood out. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and refilled my water at least four times without me asking. Great ambiance and an all-around good experience. Definitely worth the wait!

We stopped at South End Brewing for lunch and loved the cozy, laid-back vibe. I tried a pumpkin beer while Steve went for an espresso martini--both were fantastic choices for a fall afternoon. It came with quinoa and spring mix as the base, topped with edamame, cucumbers, guacamole, cabbage, crispy wontons, and fresh ahi tuna. It was flavorful and beautifully presented, though I honestly couldn't find much quinoa--it felt more like a salad than a grain bowl. The Tuna Poke Nachos were incredible, almost comparable to the ones at Yard House, and the Flounder Sandwich was also a tasty choice. However, there were a couple of misses. The Smash Burger wasn't very flavorful and definitely needed a bit more sauce to bring it to life. I also grabbed a Caesar salad, but the croutons were a little weird and personally weren't my favorite. We found parking on a side street near Blowing Rock Brewing, so decided to enjoy a drink and get some lunch. We were seated quickly, near a heater, which was nice to help us warm up after being on the mountain. A waiter came by with menus to take our order. We asked for some suggestions, but he was a little less than enthused to offer advise. They had a good variety of beers, so my wife and I each got one, and shared them. We got the Pina Colada Kolsch and the Cloud Rise Hazy Ipa. Both were tasty, the Pina Colada Kolsch had a much stronger pineapple flavor than I expected, but in a good way. For food we started with the white cheddar poblano, which I expected to be more of a liquid queso for some reason. It was instead for of a soft, spread, which was really good, and paired well with the chips. And then we split the Turkey Reuben, which I figured would be made with deli meat, instead, it was warm, cooked chunks of turkey, really great flavor, and hit the spot for us. The sides with the sandwiches were a bit lacking, only offering hot chips, and green beans....I've never gotten the whole hot chip craze, but green beans just seamed like too odd of a side option for a sandwich It was a good visit, and a good meal, to get us back on our feet. Overall, a nice space, with bar seating, a back room, a back and front patio, plenty of space to hang out, relax and enjoy their beer. Food and drink were both good and worth a visit if you're in the area.

But I wiggled my vehicle into a tight spot and went in for a burger and a beer. I believe there were about 10 to 12 options available on tap, and I went with what was listed as an Irish stout from somewhere in the Northeast. It wasn't bad, though it seemed more like an imperial stout. My sandwich choice was the Cowboy, with ground elk at its core. It was a good choice too, and the accompanying fried onions and melted cheese complemented the meat well. I ordered the burger medium, but I think I'd go for medium rare if I could go back in time. The medium option wasn't bad, but I think a little less heat and a little more moisture would only make things better. I kept things simple with the side item, going for the fries which were of the thinly sliced McDonald's variety, not bad but nothing remarkable. The server covering my table was pleasant and prompt, though soft spoken so I occasionally had to ask her to repeat herself amidst the music and noise. I wouldn't call any of these selections a bargain, but the prices didn't veer too far from what you'll find in many burger joints. All in all, not an earthshaking experience, but a place I'd be willing to go back to. 3.5 stars.
