I remember all the lunches I used to order from here when I was young, working at the LV store at the mall. I am happy that 24 years later, this place is still in business. They are quick in serving and the food still tastes delicious. You got a group of 10+ people? This is the spot to go to. They can accommodate big parties. I've been a huge fan of their chicken & broccoli and I enjoy coming here with my family. Thanks, guys!

I recommend it because the food was all finished! It's good! The complementary snacks are so yummy with orange sweet sauce. I loved their hot and sour soup. It hit that sourness spot that we all need sometimes. Shrimp was good and shrimp sauce over fried rice is the life i'm living.

Ordered the Singapore mei fun and boneless ribs and salt and pepper calamari (not pictured) . You get a lot of food from this one dish. The boneless ribs were okay at best and the calamari was good, but definitely small in portions for the price paid.

Lotus Cafe has been around for 20+ years. A lot of other Chinese restaurants have come and gone, but somehow Lotus Cafe has stood the test of time. Their food isn't going to blow you away, but they do have a large menu of both authentic and western-style Chinese food. They are generally reliable and I've had mostly good meals there. Recommended dishes: beef chow fun in black bean sauce, three cup chicken, emperor's pork, seafood tofu casserole, and ten ingredients pan fried noodles.

This place was recommended by my neighbour as being good chinese food - more saucey and less oil. I think they forgot the less flavour too.

It's conveniently located in the large plaza alongside Home Depot and 99 Ranch. I've stopped by a few times for lunch, and their midday specials are incredible. For just $11.99, you get a main dish, rice, and soup. The portions are very generous--I always leave completely stuffed! My absolute favorite is the Basa Fillet with chili oil; it's packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The lunch menu is vast, so there are always plenty of different options to choose from, ensuring you'll never get bored even if you visit frequently. Beyond the food, the overall experience is consistently great. The dining room is clean and comfortable, and the service is exceptionally fast and friendly. They also offer discount days for teachers, seniors, and first responders, which is a wonderful touch for the community.

The food still tastes good and that was the only thing positive about our dinner tonight. Service was quite poor today. We had appetizers and two entrees and there was barely any room on the table for us. The check was dropped and no effort was made clean up anything. There was barely room to sign the check. Our previous visits, we left fulfilled and happy - not so much today. I hope things turn around for this place.

It was absolutely fire! The pork was perfectly tender and had that amazing 'wok hay' flavor. The Misses & Changes: Braised Tofu (4/5): Still good, but I remember this dish being better in the past. It just fell a little short this time. Beef Soup (3.5/5): A new try, but I'd pass next time. It tasted fine, but it felt more like a fast-food soup and wasn't what I was hoping for. Braised Chicken & Mushroom (2.5/5): Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing dish. It was very soupy and watery, less 'braised' and more like boiled chicken. The chicken was overcooked to the point where the bones were falling apart. I was hoping for a consistency more like Three-Cup Chicken

I've also noticed that beef orders are touch and go, because the meat pieces tend to be rather tough. That said, I love the seasoning and saucing here. Tough meat aside, their beef and string bean meal has become one of my recent favorites. My husband raves about their spicy Chinese eggplant dishes, and he's been pretty happy about any chicken dish he's ordered. So many the golden rule is to stick with chicken over other proteins? Unlike other Chinese takeout spots in the area, they don't take delivery orders. Delivery orders can be fulfilled either through UberEats or through their website, which seems to outsource orders to another delivery service. I've used the nameless delivery service once and got the order just fine, but the ordering process is somewhat inflexible (e.g. my husband's favorite order from the lunch special menu isn't available as a standalone entree and there's no way to make those requests through the website, so we had to do a pickup order just so we could ask a person to make it happen). There are very few parking spots out front, so we've often had to double park when picking up orders, with one person waiting in the car while the other runs in to pay.
