Lotus Curry Puffs, Seafood Coconut Soup, & Shrimp in Blanket
    Taylor D.

Lotus Thai was recommend to me by a fellow Parma friend! We came in for dinner for some delicious Thai food and we were NOT disappointed. This is a cute small little restaurant with a family feel. We started with the shrimp in a blanket and curry puffs. Both were amazing! The shrimp in a blanket has just a little bit of cream cheese which made it a light app even though it was fried! It kind of reminded me of Filipino Lumpia, which is my favorite! I had the seafood coconut soup and it was amazing. It reminded me of Tom Kha which is what I was looking for. It had a nice sized scallop that was cooked perfectly, 2 large shrimp that were sweet and yummy, and a mussel in it, along with the lemongrass and mushrooms. Definitely try this on your visit! For entrees, we got the Pad See Ew and Fried Tilapia dish. The tilapia paired amazing with the white rice and helped with the spice level! The Pad See Ew was delicious and had bold flavors. Even though they were very busy, the servers were attentive and our food was timely. We will be back!

    Beef Lo Mein

This was our first visit to Lotus Thai House and we will definitely be back. I think they were short on help but the server hustled and gave us great service! We ordered the beef lo mein, red curry and drunken noodles. All were very tasty. Cute little local restaurant with good food!

Veggie Pho and my Jasmine Tea saying hi in the back

I teach yoga in the next building over. Today I had enough time to grab some dinner before class and OMG I was not disappointed! I got some hot jasmine tea to start. Then crab Rangoons and the veggie pho. The broth was so flavorful I ordered more to take home. The veggies were bright and crisp, I seriously had to stop myself from downing the entire "small" bowl before class. The gentleman waiting on me was so nice and attentive as well. I was annoying and asked for so much stuff and he wasn't even phased. I got a watermelon bubble tea to go, too! I thought the total would be $50, lol it was $21 for tea, bubble tea, an app and a bowl of pho, so it's super affordable as well. I sent my boyfriend a picture and he wants me to take him next time I go.

Yellow curry with chicken and extra vegetables

It's hard finding a good thai restaurant anywhere. But Lotus Thai is probably the most basic, but mediocre Thai restaurant I've tried in awhile. It gets the job done if you're craving Thai food. But I wouldn't come here again. I had a yellow curry with chicken and extra vegetables substituted for rice. I also tried their Thai tea. The yellow curry doesn't seem to have enough spices. I wish I got more vegetables considering that I ask for extra vegetables instead of a bowl of rice. The Thai tea tasted like it came straight from a powdered mix. I even tasted graininess in the Thai tea. You're better off just buying powdered mix from any Asian grocery store. It doesn't seem busy here ever. I came during a weekend lunch. Parking is plentiful and you'll probably be one of the only customers here during lunchtime.

    Chili Duck

Found this little spot on the google maps while trying to find a spot that was on the way home. Lucky me!! The mango chicken wings were hands down bone licking delicious! I didn't even want to share. My husband got the chili duck and I had try it. I wasn't a duck fan until now. Amazing. My son doesn't even like Thai food so I got him the mango paradise and he loved it and the duck too. Of course you can't go wrong with Mango sticky rice dessert. We will definitely be back for more.

We came here on a Groupon and was pleasantly surprised. Sunday afternoon so it was kinda slow so plenty of space to be spread out. Server was bit hard to hear w/ mask on but most of our stuff was correct. Got some apps: spring rolls & pot stickers were good. I love my pineapple fried rice. Great flavor & nice fry on it. Wife loved her tofu soup. Bit salty for my taste. My preteen liked her kids fried rice too. In laws ordered some noodles and asked for mild but it came out so spicy he could barely eat it. Dipping sauces were tasty. One big surprise was the mango smoothie drink w/ the boba things. Kid didn't like it but I smashed it. Service was ok. The dishes didn't come out together but one at a time. Food was good overall so we'll be back.

Stopped in for lunch with some coworkers. They weren't very busy, service was quick and food tasted great. I got the lad na with tofu, and a side of spring rolls. They do offer two different spice levels: 1-3 American spice & 1-10 Thai spice.

Definitely one of the better Thai places in the area and if you like Pho soup, it is in my opinion the best in Cleveland.

Do they have an alcohol license? We ate there when they first opened and could not serve alcohol which was shown on their menu.

We currently don't have one as of now, but we plan on getting one very soon!

In addition to noodles, the lunch special came with your choice of soup, a spring roll, or 2 crab rangoon. I opted for the crab rangoon. I also ordered 2 dim sum dishes - the shrimp dumplings ($6.50) and snow mountain lava buns ($6.50). The crab rangoon came out first, and they were delicious, hot, and crispy. Then I got the dan dan noodles. The noodles had a bit of a kick, but they weren't overwhelmingly spicy. They had a nice chew, and I slurped them up happily. I just wish there were more noodles lol, but the portions were pretty typical for dan dan noodles at Greater Cleveland restaurants. The dim sum was great. The shrimp dumplings were tender and juicy, and the buns were so fluffy. Be careful eating them though, or you might get hot, delicious egg goo all over your hands, lol. The staff is very no-nonsense. The service was efficient, and I made it in time for my Red Cross appointment. Note - the restrooms are super clean and even smell nice!

In addition to pho, the restaurant offers banh mi and vermicelli noodle bowls, both of which I had during my most recent visit. I opted for the special banh mi ($8.95) and vermicelli bowl with grilled pork & egg rolls ($14.95). The banh mi came with some Vietnamese cold cuts, pate, mayo, pickled radish, carrots, cilantro, and jalapeño. The sandwich was delicious. I loved the bread, which was so crispy on the outside and so light & airy on the inside. The veggies were fresh, and the cold cuts & pate were flavorful. The noodle bowl was also tasty. The bowl came with a generous amount of noodles, a decent-sized portion of tender grilled pork, an egg roll chopped up into pieces, bean sprouts, carrots, and other veggies. It was served with fish sauce on the side, which I used liberally along with Sriracha. If you dine in, there is a big bottle of sriracha at each table. In addition to being delicious, the noodle bowl was so filling. Between the bowl and sandwich, I left the restaurant stuffed. The service was quick and friendly. The vibe is very casual. If you dine in, you pay at the counter at the end of your meal.
