Food is very fresh, but just good overall. It felt like they're going for a higher end experience and are priced like it is a higher end restaurant; however, everything felt cheap (furnishings and utensils) and service was as mediocre as it gets. I don't mind paying for a great experience but this wasn't it! My wife and I started with tabouleh (very fresh moderate portion). We split a feta salad and the chicken skewer for entree. The salad was very good!!! The chicken was a total of one small breast cut into chunks that lacked any flavor, served over a half piece of pita with some rice and a SPOONFUL of garlic whip. The whip is unlike any I've experienced and the texture was more like an applesauce than a whip. We did not enjoy the chicken or rice at all because it was just plain and the garlic was weak so added little to no flavor. We got the bill and notice two additional fees, one for using a credit card and another that said "New York" that totaled more than $7. Wife had a soda and I stuck with water. No way this should have cost us $70 before tip. We went to grab a sandwich and split it afterwards somewhere else. If you want to be higher end, then don't wrap the cheapest flatware in a paper napkin and be more attentive and possibly a tad bit more generous on your portions, or at least add some flavor to the entree meat

Phenomenal Lebanese restaurant. Try the Hummus Lou Lou and Ashta. The wine menu is also very nice.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The service was attentive, welcoming, and top-notch from start to finish. I know Almaza is known for their rotisserie chicken, but I chose to try their other dishes on this trip. Some may feel the prices are on the higher side, but honestly the prices are quite fair. Reason being is, there was enough food to feed two people. You can dine in or just order takeout, either choice you're going to have some good food. Kibbie- I liked these handheld Lebanese beef croquettes. The seasoning was good and it does come with some sauces, but I didn't need them. I was fine with how well the croquettes tasted alone Pastelillos- I loved these meat pies..I could eat these all day Mediterranean lamb plate- The bed of rice that comes with the dish, is totally different tasting that I have ever had. Manly because of the shaved almonds, and cinnamon. But by no means, do I have any complaints. The lamb pieces with this entree was a good compliment.

Although we we the first people there at 1pm for dine-in, there was a steady stream of take-out orders getting picked up, as well as other (mostly men) coming to dine. The chairs are wide and overstuffed, and the tables are just the right height. It's a, "have another bite" atmosphere. There are long prayers coming from the speakers. Even a non-Arabic speaker like me knows that, "Bismillah" doesn't rhyme! The better half's take on his kebab? "This is the best lamb I've ever had!". I thought the shwarma and fries were great, but the hummus served with warm pita, some fruity, green olive oil, and a sprinkling of sumac/ za'atar really knocked it out of the park. I was dipping my fries in it! We ended the meal with a long slice of pistachio backlava. Oh, so good!
