    Epic pie!

Visiting Chicago and had to stop at our favorite deep dish pizza place again!!! They certainly don't disappoint! This was a take out only joint but the pies were amazing! I ordered the spinach pizza with onions and black olives. Also order the Lou with that famous delicious sausage. After enjoying every single bite I have come to realize that Chicago Lou's are the best. I've had the Arizona Lou's and the chains in Chicago is better. Same ingredients I'm sure but it must be the water or the climate in Chicago that makes it better I highly recommend you dine in Chicago for an epic experience with good service

You can never go wrong with Lou Malnatis. This is a takeout joint only, so there isn't much to write about their service, though they've always been very friendly and have never had any problems when ordering. What makes Lou Malnatis sound out against their competitors is of course their crust. A very buttery, flaky crust goes perfect with their tangy chunky tomato sauce and stretchy mozzarella cheese with Italian sausage and/or pepperoni. A true Chicago deep dish icon. You won't find the sausage anywhere as Lou Malnatis makes their own and it very tasty. Definitely plan ahead as well if your planning on ordering a deep dish as it well take a minimum of 30 minutes and up to an hour during peak times. If you're also planning on ordering from them a lot like myself; take advantage of their reward program where you can get $20 off your order once you spend a certain amount of money.

This is a poorly made "DEPP DISH" pizza. How do you even let this go out?

I have loved Lou's forever but I am leaving this here in hopes something will improve. (At this location) at least. Usually order delivery and always had great experiences until this year. Late deliveries, poorly made pizza and messed up orders. When I say poorly made I mean, it's questionable it's even "Deep Dish" they are noticeably thinner and slices are coming with half the ingredients. They look and taste terrible. This has happened numerous times now and I've let it go but hoping it changes. Half the pizza with half the cheese, sausage and sauce. How do you even let this go out?

Lou Malnati's is a Chicagoland favorite, and given that I am a pizza junkie, I decided to order curbside pickup as I haven't had Lou's in a while. First, I would like to recognize the effectiveness of the curbside pickup. It was excellent. After you determine the time you want to pick up your pizza, pull up to one of the designated spots and an employee will bring it out to you. It was hassle-free! Unfortunately, the food was not that great. I've had Lou's many times before, but this time I decided to try something new - the Lou, thin crust pizza. Additionally, I ordered a personal deep-dish Chicago Classic as well as I love the butter crust. First, the personal pizza I ordered was incorrectly made. Lou's gave me a crustless personal deep-dish pizza (the crust is made of the sausage patty). While I do love sausage, it was extremely greasy and desired the savory buttery crust the Chicago Classic is known for. Second, the Lou, although the crust was good, was just not that great. In short, I was disappointed. Unlike other pizza places, I've never had too many good experiences with Lou Malnati's. I would rather have Giordano's or another local pizza place. I think it's overhyped, unfortunately. Otherwise, I'll be sure to order a basic pizza here and hopefully get the correct order.

I don't know how you can charge someone $30 for a "deep dish" pizza and hand this over, absolutely atrocious. Dry, no flavor, no cheese, just the worst take out experience I've had in a long time. Waste of my money

Yup, lived up to all of the hype. Even though I come to Chicago several times a year I had yet to try the infamous Lou Malnati's because my friend prefers their competitor's more. But we decided to eat outside the pizza box and take the Louie plunge. Our garlic, spinach and sausage pizza was just perfection. Huge chunks of actual sausage nestling in a bed of pizza magic. Actual garlic and fresh spinach mixed in to help you to finish up the orgasmic food experience. The crust wasn't as thick as people always make it out to be. Well, maybe... but the butter crust definitely makes you want to eat the entire slice. I ate 2 slices for dinner. And then 1 slice for my midnight snack and then 1 more for breakfast. I would have had another slice for my second breakfast but it was sadly gone. Whatever, I'll work it off when I leave again.

The food is missing so much flavor. It's just crust sauce and cheese. Not only did my pizza arrive with all of the toppings on one half of the pizza but the pizza tasted like pizza in a nursing home on government assistance. I would not recommend. I'm giving 2 stars because the manager credited me our pizza. But I'm probably going to gift the gift card when it arrives. I just can't.

Fair warning, the red sauce has a nice kick to it! For the main we had the Caesar Salad and the Prosciutto/Arugula Roman pizza. I love a fluffy savory pizza and this one hit the spot. Service was decent. When we arrived we were told that the dining room would have a 45-minute wait but the bar was open. We opted for the bar. Obviously, when seated at the bar you have some trade-offs. It was a bit noisy and the bartenders and hustling to care for everyone, not just you so it was a bit slower. Not a bad thing, just something that was noted. Parking is street and wasn't too bad for a Friday night! All in all would absolutely recommend!

The sauce definitely added a nice kick, and I even added some to my pizza. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, and the weather was perfect. It was a great spot to stop for a bite while checking out the area!

Q's has had my interest since discovering it sometime ago while in search of "pizza". At the time of my discovery, its 4.6 rating out of (120+) was the assurance I needed that I would have a quality experience, plus an endorsement from my barber. Looking through the menu, I took interest in items like the baked tilapia, eggplant sandwich, eggplant parmigiana, shrimp alfredo, pasta with broccoli sauce, and their pizza of course! Out of all, I ended up ordering their eggplant sandwich, which came with a side of crinkle cut fries. Whether it be Grubhub or Uber Eats, I love ordering online because it is convenient. Most of the time my orders are completed upon my arrival or near complete. By the time I arrived at Q's Restaurant & Pizzeria my order was waiting behind the counter during this ordering experience. Picking up was just confirming my name, ordering platform, and I was well on my way. I am grateful to have had a smooth online ordering experience because the likelihood of me ordering online again at the location is very high. As for my order, the eggplant sandwich smelled so wonderful once I got inside my vehicle and got my first whiff of it. It was then that I realized I had a 12.7-mile drive back to my residence in Chicago. If there was any time I would have loved for someone to take the wheel of my vehicle, it would have been that moment so that I could enjoy my eggplant sandwich. I was pleased to see the generous portions given of the eggplant sandwich and crinkle cut fries once I opened the styrofoam container. Oh my was it delicious! I will say this! Eggplant sandwiches taste better than the name appears if you have not had one before. I am quite positive that I will order it again as time goes by because it sure was satisfying. So satisfying and filling that I did not have any room for the crinkle cut fries, which I barely touched and ended up eating the following day. If you are looking for something to order on the menu at Q's Restaurant & Pizzeria, I recommend the eggplant sandwich because you will not be let down. In closing I had a good experience as I have indicated in this review of Q's Restaurant & Pizzeria. I could surely see myself ordering from again off-and-on when I am in the area likely for a haircut. And as it was introduced to me via Uber Eats, I share my endorsement of it as well with you all on yelp. I started with the Solstice Spritz -- he mentioned it was on the sweeter side, and it honestly had the perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. Not overly sugary, just really well done. For an appetizer, we got the best (in my opinion), the wild mushroom toast. This location uses softer bread compared to others, and the appetizer had a slight kick to it that made it even better. Definitely a standout dish. I also tried the espresso martini, which was made with Baileys. It was strong but good -- smooth with that rich espresso flavor coming through. For my entrée, I had the butternut squash risotto. It was okay, but I felt like it could've used a bit more sauce or an extra layer of flavor. I ended up adding more parmesan, which helped elevate it a little. The inside of this location is really nice -- different from the other locations I've been to, but in a good way. The ambiance definitely added to the experience.
