Well, well. It's great place to visit in the restaurant area in the mall on the second or upper floor area. There are bunch of other stores that you visit as well. I like this place since you can pick out all of the toppings that you want. Don't be bashful to kindly ask for more vegetables or protein if you like it. Take your time to look at all of the ingredients behind the glass so you can be ready to order right away. The line wasn't that long and so I was able to order very quickly. The pizza runs through a super hot and yet, consistent oven temperature so your pizza cooks in about 5 minutes and well balanced cooked pizza. There is a lot to offer and so you need to carefully look at the menu. I believe they have a few of these stores downtown Chicago although a bit harder to find. I am not sure if this is a new store chain since it's new to me. Does any know if it's new or just new to the Chicagoland area? Let me know below and comment back. Great way to have a quick pizza with the toppings that you want. Load up on the ingredients that you want. Just make sure you don't put too much or else it won't cook evenly in the oven. If you want a fast pizza this is the place to come. It's set up in a line, you pick your crust, sauce, toppings and then they have a salad option as well. It comes out piping hot! The thin crust is very good and crispy. My daughter got a pineapple bacon and pepperoni pizza, she loved it!

Pretty good option for fast dining with little kids. Pizza with unlimited toppings will run you $10 (ish). Similar concept to MOD and they do have gluten free and cauliflower crust options. Nice to sit outside - you might even see a little hummingbird that loves the flower arrangements!

Food court on the District has some new choices. We've tried the Greek kitchen and now tonight Pie Five. It was good. A perfect grab a bite place. I had the calzone dinner with Cesar salad and a drink. Took a piece of the calzone home. Kiddo had pizza with breadsticks and a drink. The breadsticks were the thing we least enjoyed. They were a bit oily and not as tasty as everything else. Kiddo had a personal pizza with with olives and pepperoni. He took a part of the pizza home. Both the main meals were really good. I'd go back to try other menu choices.

Love this place! Nice quick bite and amazing taste. Prices are great too, definitely come here if your shopping around oak brook

Kids got this while we were at the mall. They both went for pan pizza. One did just cheese and one did the meaty one, can't remember the name. They thought it was pretty good. So, if you need to feed the offspring this pizza will do. Sorry about the super blurry picture. They do serve alcohol in the food court, but I swear I didn't have any. Maybe I should've and I would've gotten a better picture.

Best BYP (Build Your Pizza/Pie) place I've tried thus far! They have 4 crust options (gluten free for a $2 up charge), several sauce options (if you like a "kick" go with spicy marinara), your standard cheese options, and unlimited toppings! If you're overwhelmed by the plethora of options, they have pizza recommendations on the menu. Personally, I prefer to BYP, so that you can cater your pizza to your unique taste. I'll definitely be back!

The concept feels fresh while complementing Cooper's Hawk's reputation for wine and hospitality. I also appreciated the restaurant's design details, especially the restroom wallpaper featuring classic Italian hand gestures--a fun, memorable touch. While I enjoyed the food and atmosphere, I felt the patio service could have been warmer and more attentive. I followed up with management afterward and appreciated the opportunity to share my feedback. My husband and I went for an early dinner, didn't have reservations, it was just us two. We were told an approx 10 min wait, which was fine. As we waited, we noticed a few empty booths for two in the bar - we asked to be seated, and they said of course. Very pleasant front end staff. Problem began with our phantom server, waited a while til someone approached us. No water, no menus, no server. Finally after almost 20 min, the server appeared, he seemed very frazzled. Spoke quickly. We asked for a menu, water, silverware & napkins. At almost 30 minutes, we finally ordered our entrees. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo, and my husband ordered Arrabbiata Sauce w/spaghetti which came with a small side salad or soup. I chose soup, and my husband had a side salad. And we asked for some bread for the table. We waited another 20 minutes for our salad and soup, and I was given a tsp for the soup, all things considered, it was good. We saw the server twice while we were there, appeared very pre-occupied. The kitchen staff served our pasta meals. My husband said his was good, my Fettuccine Alfredo was also good, but very Al dente. Meantime, still waiting for bread .... All in all, it was a good meal, sometimes servers can make or break it! The sausage was definitely the fan favorite for the kids. I have to say the pizza crust was really enjoyable, crispy throughout and not too paper thin and robust enough to hold all toppings. As far as service, it's best to call in ahead to put in your order, as I've heard they only pump out 100 or so pizzas per day and seem to be in high demand. For example, we called in on a weekday at 4:45pm and pick up wouldn't be until 6:35pm. So roughly, two hour wait which was on par with what I've read about. The shop itself is very small. Only two tables and the rest of the space is dedicated to the kitchen and pizza oven. I'd recommend taking to go as inside runs hot from the big ol' oven. While I have sampled and tried many iterations of the deep dish pizza over the years, Giordano's is the classic...maybe not the best, but definitely the most classic of deep dish pizzas in my opinion. For this visit, I bellied up to the bar, grabbed a signature cocktail and went all in for my dinner. I started with an order of the cheese bread and followed up with a personal pepperoni deep dish. The cocktail, Windy City Punch, was okay. Nothing special, but it hit the spot and was a solid drink to wash down the pizza with. Food wise, the deep dish was great. Personal pizza was a tad smaller than expected, but it was just enough. The pizza itself was tasty, just what I was after! While the pie was good, the cheese bread was disappointing.
