Burnt, dried out pizza with cardboard crust

We have ordered Nancy's Pizza consistently for over 30 years. We order from the Woodridge location once every week to 10 days. The delivery guy knows us well and chitchats about travel and life with every delivery. Tonight we received a horrible, inedible pizza. It was burnt, dried out and had cardboard crust. I spoke with Bobby, the manager and even sent him a photo of the pizza. He repeatedly said said the pizza was fine. Look at the photos and decide for yourself. I guess Nancy's doesn't understand the value of a lifetime customer. Maybe Namcy's should train your employees in customer service. You lost an avid fan and loyal customer tonight....And hopefully many more once people read this review.

    Thin crust?

Is this really your thin crust pizza? I was really hoping my pregnant wife of 8 months could get what she wanted. We brought this home and it was regular crust. There were a good amount of toppings and plenty of cheese, but not exactly what we ordered

This place has really gone downhill as far as the quality of their pizza. My husband still loves their stuffed pizza and tries to get it about once every couple months. But for me I'm not a stuffed pizza person So I've always gotten there ultra thin crust pizzas. In the past they've been excellent and the best pizza in this area next to Pappas Pizza. However in the past year or so they're ultrathin crust is no longer ultra thin and in my opinion not even thin. I've been ordering this over the past year and a half hoping it would get better and be like it used to but it is not. It has not changed in fact this last time I asked the guy if I could get it super ultra thin and explained that it just hasn't been thin enough lately for me. The guy taking the order entered the order in correctly as you'll see from the picture of the receipt however the person making the pizza just seemed to do whatever he wanted to do in fact this is not even thin crust to me at all let alone super ultra thin. I told my husband I'm done I am not getting their thin pizza ever again since they don't seem to understand what ultrathin is. Even the cheese just doesn't taste like it used to it doesn't have the same awesome taste that it used to have. So from now on when I want thin pizza I'll go back to Papas consistently since they're the only one in the area that actually cares about making an order the way a person orders it. It's annoying enough their prices have gone up and skyrocketed the way they have but we understand if we want the convenience of eating out we're going to pay for it but if you're going to increase the prices then we expect to have an order prepared the way we ask and paid good money for it and since this place can't seem to do it or want to do it I am done. I will patronize a business who will bend over backwards to appease a paying customer.

The "2 1/2"" original pizza, that measured just over 1".

Very good pan pizza. Delivery was courteous and quick. Pizza is getting pricy is my only concern.

Not quite as good as it used to be, but still my go to for thin crust. Love their pizza sauce! Delicious!

Always good never disappoints . The crust is not to crunchy not to soft. The sauce is perfectly paired with the vegies and meat.

Pizza was really good and the delivery was pretty quick. I have to say that it is some of the best pizza we have had in the area so far.

We tried both the homestyle thin crust pizza and pan pizza. Normally, we are not fans of thin crust…read more(the homestyle) pizza, but figured we had to try it since that is their specialty. We are so glad we did! Because the cheese was perfectly gooey without being overwhelming paired with a delicious tomato sauce atop a complimentary crust with just the right amount of give to it. This may be the only thin crust pizza I would continue to get. The pan pizza was basically just the thin crust pizza with a lip on the perimeter and more cheese. This pizza was not nearly as good as the thin crust because if I'm going to eat a non-thin crust pizza, I want a more doughy crust and this just did not deliver. There was also too much cheese and it wasn't charred the same way the thin crust was. The inside is quaint with hats from all over everywhere. Service is also very kind and as quick as they can be with how busy it is. My only complaint is I wish they had a vegetable side dish that was fried, but it's a local pizza shop and perhaps not the right audience for this.

The back has a large parking lot but you have to read the signs. Park in the spots that say 4 hour free parking to be on the safe side. Other than that, we ordered mozzarella sticks, gyro Philly sandwich combo, and pasta arrabiata with gyro meat. To be honest, the mozzarella sticks are not worth $8 because they were too small. However, that gyro meat is one of the best I've ever had. The gyro Philly has beef and lamb gyro. They were perfectly tender and juicy. The French fries are crispy, not soggy, and well seasoned. The pasta was excellent. The food portions were huge. The bueno crepe was also delectable. Big enough to share.

We ended up at Euro Crepes and Pizzeria after not being able to get a table at a nearby German…read morerestaurant, and it turned out to be a great alternative. The pizzeria was mostly empty, with customers mainly picking up to-go orders, which made it an easy spot to dine with kids. We ordered a cheese and pepperoni pizza, and three different crepes, and everything came out quickly, piping hot, and very tasty. The portions were generous enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day. The restaurant was clean and well stocked, and the staff was friendly and welcoming--even with our kids creating a bit of chaos. I'd definitely come back to try more of their menu.
