When we stopped in for brunch a few days ago we could tell this diner has been around for a while, especially because we heard the waitresses greeting customers by name so no wonder why there are so many 'positive' reviews. It might've been a good spot a few decades ago, but it is outdated now. Food is cheap but you get what you pay for. You'd think you can't go wrong with chicken and waffles? I couldn't even finish, i felt guilty for eating like i was betraying my body. Unappetizing.

For a place with a clear full client list we got seated surprisingly fast. And what an experience! Diners being a special passion of mine it's pretty hard to be truly impressed. The food quality and quantity and the old fashioned diner feel is all there! So many experiences never get written about because they're mundane. Take my effort here as an indication that this is a place worth adding to your travels!

Hash omelette with potatoes and my friend Dana gave me her Italian bread toast

Oh my got there early today with no waiting. I got the homemade hash omelette with breakfast potatoes and pumpernickel toast. I also had a really good iced coffee. So I took a lot home and just finished it for dinner. So darn good. I'll be moving back to Alaska next month so I'll have to go again before then. Best breakfast place I've ever eaten at !!

The staff were very attentive and friendly. Service was fast and food was amazing. Everyone was nice even the customers. It's a typical diner.

Very happy about the portion!! Great service and bathroom is clean! Love cash only! We will come back again.

Eggs over easy with sausage , wheat toast and home fries.

Great breakfast joint, delicious food, generous portions, reasonable prices, friendly service. We went on a Tuesday morning, and the place was fairly busy. We got seated right away and the food came out promptly. I had eggs over easy with sausage, wheat toast, and home fries. Everything was perfect. What more can you ask for ?

Eggs Benedict--w/ ham, and tomatoes. English muffin hiding underneath. Delicious.

This restaurant is always jammed packed. But their breakfast is great. And they do have parking...but if it's busy, it's still tough to find a spot. They also have outdoor dining now. This diner is definitely worth visiting but I definitely recommend visiting early--or you'll be waiting for awhile. At times you might get lucky and it's fairly quiet but it's often busier than not. As for the food, Lou Roc's does their breakfast right. I've had their omelets in the past and recently had Eggs Benedict. Tons of flavor. This diner is CASH ONLY. Although they do have an ATM on site. Cheers and enjoy.

Love this place! I usually get the specials. Pot Roast, Chop Suey, Turkey Dinner, Fish & Chips. The meals are massive and tasty. Love the clam chowder. It comes in a HUGE bowl. The Home-made hash omelet is wicked good. The ladies that run the place are always super cool. Great fresh food. Even if there is a line, it moves ultra fast.

The corned beef hash was excellent, and even as a picky pancake lover, I enjoyed mine. My partner ordered the country breakfast, but we received the wrong order with different specifications. We didn't notice immediately and started enjoying the hash. It took the servers about two minutes to realize the mistake and attempt bring us the correct order, they had hoped we hadn't started eating the hash meant for another customer. Although the mix-up was understandable, it was a bit frustrating not to get our raisin toast or runny, sunny-side-up eggs as expected. We stayed with the wrong order and our was brought back to the kitchen. The biggest drawback, however, is the outdated ambiance. I appreciate the vintage, long-time diner charm, but the decor needs some attention: the cups are showing wear, the shades are dusty, and the hallway to the bathroom feels cluttered. The bathroom itself could use a thorough cleaning, the soap dispenser was empty, and the backup pump wasn't working properly, making the space feel less sanitary. A small renovation to refresh the space while preserving its classic appeal would really enhance the overall experience.

We visited Sunday morning at 10 am., which is a busy time for most breakfast spots. Locals suggested the French toast or country breakfast were the recommended ordered. We will try it again, but our first experience was not very good.

They only serve breakfast and lunch, and they close early (2 pm weekdays). The staff, from the hostess to the servers, were all very friendly. Nice to see smiles again in a restaurant! I loved the maple margarita. Perfect balance of sweet and salty. The food came out hot and nicely plated. Do not miss the smashed potatoes, the veggie hash, and the freshly squeezed juices. All are delicious. My omelette was jam packed with all kinds of veggies. The only negative is that it is very loud inside and can be hard to hear your own conversation. If I lived close by, I would be a regular.

I've been here for both of my sisters' graduation brunches, and we always leave happy. It's become one of our favorite spots for a celebratory brunch. For drinks, I tried their new Vanilla Bean Matcha Latte with oat milk. It was a bit thicker than I expected--possibly because of the oat milk. I can definitely see some people loving that texture, but for me it was just okay. That said, it was still a good drink, and the hint of vanilla came through nicely without overpowering the matcha. For food, we ordered a variety of dishes for the table. 1. The chicken and waffles had so much flavor, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly--not too runny, but still soft, gooey, and delicious. The chicken was a little soggy, but it made up for it by being incredibly tender. 2. The blueberry pancake was fantastic. Their pancake portions are huge, so this time we only ordered one to share. It was delicious, though definitely on the heavier side. 3. The house burger was easily the standout dish of the meal and might be my favorite item on the menu. It's simple and classic, but packed with flavor. 4. The chicken burger, on the other hand, was disappointing. The chicken was quite dry, and I probably wouldn't order it again. I think something like pickled onions or another acidic topping could help bring some balance and moisture to the sandwich. 5. We also tried the omelet, which was very good, especially with the goat cheese. What really made the experience special was that the staff noticed we were celebrating a graduation and surprised us with complimentary donuts. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end the meal.
