It's ok. I feel like this restaurant suffers a small identity crisis. It's in a larger building which suggests "upscale" but the overall feel is a pub which lacks distinct character. It has a nice clean and bright aesthetic, but the Keno focus (with the ticket vending machine and Keno on the TVs) distract from that vibe in my opinion. I've only been to the Draught House three times now. The first experience I had was a pickup order that went smooth. The second time I went to pickup my order the staff member at the front was very snippy. I paid it no mind thinking she might be having a bad day, but the 3rd time I went I sat at the bar and the bartender Mary Ellen kept giving me dirty looks and said " I'm trying to figure out why the hell you are at my bar" This kind of service and conversation is disgusting, rude and uncalled for. First time but not the last time at The Draught House. We showed up at peak Saturday night dining time and even though there was a function going on the parking was super convenient and were able to get seated immediately. Noise levels were decent (an important item on our checklist of good restaurants). I have to kick off this review by saying that our server, Jessica was absolutely FANTASTIC! She was lovely to work with and was very accommodating of my friend's gluten and dairy allergies She pointed out the items on the menu that were safe and which ones to avoid. She also went back to the kitchen to double check on whether the bourbon glaze they use on the steak tips was gluten and/or dairy free (note, it does have gluten). We actually SKIPPED apps on this visit (shocking, I know). The menu has everything on it from American to Greek to Italian so everyone will find something they will be happy eating. There were almost too many choices to the point of menu paralysis. Is that a thing? The fam ordered: My friend and I both wanted a burger AND steak tips so we opted to split them. We ordered the steak tips, sans glaze with rice and steamed broccoli and the California burger with bacon, avocado and sliced red onion on gluten free bread. The menu options were to order burgers "pink" or "not pink." My friend is a true carnivore, preferring beef that is still mooing, so we went for rare on the tips and pink for the burger. Other friends ordered the fried clams and fries (well done) and chicken piccata with linguini. They split the Greek salad. OMG, the burger was amazingly good. I'd go back just for the burger. In fact, I'd drive back now. It was so tasty and messy to eat, which is just what you want in a burger. I know we ordered pink and there are all sorts of levels of pink from "blue," as the Brits say to almost medium/well. The burger was just a little close to raw for me. Still delicious, but I will know better for next time to have them cook it a tad longer. The steak tips were great plain, since we could not do the bourbon glaze. The glaze, I am sure, would put them completely overt the top. Excellent tips! Another thing I'd order when we go back. When, not if! I didn't taste the fried clams or the chicken piccata, but my friend loved it and took the leftovers home. Always a good sign from her. If you are in the West Boylston area, stop by for lunch or dinner. I'd bet you'd enjoy it too! read more

We had a mini reunion at Draught House. My friends frequent the place, me, my first time. I drove 2 hours each way to meet my longtime friends for dinner. Upon arrival I was a little stressed with the noise level and the bright LEDs shining above the table. Our server, a very kind young man took care of us. He was super busy and did a nice job during our 2 hour meal. The menu is typical pub fare with a Greek influence. As a Middle Eastern girl, I went down that path and ordered The Acropolis Chicken; feta, tomatoes, spinach and chicken. I ordered low fat low salt. Food took quite a while but when it came, it was hot and delicious. My dish was sublime. It was heavy on the garlic. Their craft beer menu is impressive. Don't miss this spot. If I lived locally, I'd come once a week. 5 stars for food and 4 stars due to the noise level, slow service and bright LEDs. read more

When we arrived appox 2:30 pm no one was there to greet us. After waiting awhile we saw a sign " seat yourself". Water was given in a coke mug! We ordered 2meals of 2 stuffed peppers each. Waitress returned stating they only had one pepper left. The one I got was thrown on my plate upside down! Nothing else. I asked for my coleslaw, but it came after my pepper was eaten. Guess there was no dessert menu. We were served coffee with the shelf safe plastic creamers. Waitress rattled the desserts off over the extremely loud music. We were disappointed with lava cake. It was a terrible texture. Sticky in the mouth and lacking in flavor. Waitress seemed always in a hurry. Was not impressed . I think we will return to Clinton bar and grille for lunch. Very disappointed this evening. Normally we meet our friends here because the food is decent as are the prices. Unfortunately this evening was a total bust. We ordered chicken quesadillas and got cheese without chicken. The waitress was less than apologetic and instead looked at her notes to tell us what she thought we ordered. I sent my meal back and 20 minutes later after everyone had finished eating, my meal still hadn't arrived. We weren't offered refills on our drinks nor asked if we wanted them. The kitchen should have been able to turn around a chicken quesadilla in five minutes as an expedited order to make up for the mistake, but they treated it like any other order in the queue. We told the righteous to just remove the meal from the bill and to bring a check. When the waitress brought the check, she had a chicken quesadilla meal in a takeout container. We had already said we didn't want the meal and we didn't want the takeout. All in all, we were very disappointed. read more

We have not been here in awhile.I could not remember why, now I know I put in for an appetizer and made the mistake of giving our food order even though I instructed our waitress to give our appetizer moment so we can finish it and then put in our order for food 5 minutes into the appetizer I don't even think we had four or five bites out of it out came our food ! Really! Listen to instructions and now I remember why we didn't come back happened many of times and that's why! Had a dish that was still on the menu it was supposed to be lite lemon sauce but not this time way to much lemon but that's a choice preference, will we be back? Good question I wonder if the manager or the owner reads any of these? Another good question! read more

Arrived for a late lunch on 9/3/24 , 3:30 pm and ordered the fried scallop dinner at $25.99. I was extremely disappointed with the portion for the cost. My plate consisted of 5 scallops, French fries and coleslaw. I should have an ordered a burger, where my expectations would have been met unless their burgers are thin and pancakes. The quality of the food depends on when you get there. During the day, the kitchen staff doesn't care what they send out. It could be burnt, overcooked, undercooked or tasting like sterno. The day staff at the bar are really good but they have to take food back all the time. You would think someone in upper management would be looking at what and why food is sent back but they are never to be seen. My friends live over an hour and a half away from us so we decided to find a place to eat in the middle. We found the Draught House by searching around the halfway point. We were there for the first time on Sat 2/12. The food was great! I had the eggplant dish and it was absolutely one of the best I've had outside my Italian family. My wife's dish and both my friends had great dishes also. The waitress was excellent, I never got her name but we were seated near the fireplace at around 1:15 pm. I would recommend this place if you want great food and plenty of it. read more

After yesterdays lunch I decided not to go here anymore... if I ddi try it again I'd be sure to go when I'm not afraid to complain loud and clear. I was with friends yesaterday so I held back. I got the chicken souvlaki, which was 2 skewers with a skimpy portion of chicken.. maybe 4 ounces. That was over a skimpy bed of rice, there was a tiny salad on the plate and maybe a tablespoon of tzatziki sauce. Really pathetic. Wish I took a picture. There are other dishes here I've had that are not so dissapointing but its very inconsistent. THe first time I came I had a steak tip salad that was awesome. (over a year ago) Had that a second time and it was pathetic, horribe "letuce" salad with few veggies and small portion of tips, no garnish or anything here... its like they take no pride in what they serve. This restaurant was not my favorite or somewhere that I would visit again. Our waitress was very pleasant and our drinks were adequate. The food however was very.. unique in flavor. Something about both of our meals just didn't taste right or like they had the right amount of the right flavors. My fiancé ordered the chicken bambino, it felt like it needed a marinara sauce added & the ravioli was cooked well and so was the chicken but the combination of flavors wasn't pleasant. I ordered the chicken & broccoli penne with butter sauce and it too had a strange taste like it was missing something. The chicken on mine was rubbery but the broccoli was good. I think this restaurant has the potential to be a really great place I just don't think it is worth revisiting for their Italian options based off of our two meal choices. read more

My friend had the Chicken & Bacon Spinachi which she said was good and her portion was huge! My first time being at this part of the Manor and each of our party of 4 had something different to try. The have more pub like food which is as good as the next pub while also offering some Greek options as well as burgers, pizza, fish, steak and chicken meals. It has a little bit of everything on the menu. We went to enjoy the game- our waitress was excellent and made a wicked food espresso and extra dirty martini and if you wanted a beer the selection was great. I decided to try this place because of the good things I heard about it. Me and my husband went and it was just awful! The ambience was awful, old, and dirty. The food was cheap pub food at best with high prices. Definitely the worst restaurant food I've ever had. I'd choose any pizza place over this restaurant. I was extremely disappointed with every aspect of this establishment. The staff was not awful, just mediocre. I highly suggest picking any place other than here to have a nice dinner. read more

Atmosphere was cool. Food was pretty good. Service was atrocious, hence the minus one star. Our waitress was pleasant don't get me wrong but it took almost 10 minutes for someone to come over to us once we sat. Our drinks sat at the bar for a while while another waitress was talking the ear off of ours in the back corner.. things like that just shouldn't happen on a Friday night. They have Keno, so that was a plus. They filled up quickly and early on a Friday. The oil & feta dipping sauce with bread was amazing. Their potato skins were done in house, you could tell. I had the chicken piccata which was pretty standard. Not bad but not outstanding. Fiancé had the chicken and broccoli and he would say the same. They were out of Be Hoppy beer which was disappointing for a draft house. But over all, we would be back and we had a nice time! read more

Today was my first time that I stopped by the Draught House B & G and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a gentleman (Savvas) who turned out to be one of the owners. I found a seat available at the bar and was greeted by one of the bartenders (Mary Ellen) who made me feel right at home. Mary Ellen was courteous, attentive, very professional, and friendly. After I took a peek at the menu, I placed my order and before I knew it, I was enjoying my beverage and lunch. I was not disappointed in anything that followed. I had left some room for dessert (baklava) and coffee and again, I was not disappointed! As a result of this wonderful experience, I plan to make regular visits to the Draught House and would encourage readers of this site to check it out as well. You will NOT be disappointed! I recently tried to eat at this establishment with my wife and 3 children. I say tried because we left before they bothered seating us. We walked in and there was no one at the hostess station. We waited a good 5 minutes before someone from another party poked their head into the dining area and the hostess came out. We were then informed that the wait would be half an hour, we were torn due to the wait but decided to stay. We then waited patiently and the kids were pretty well behaved for waiting so long. After about 45 minutes the hostess pulled out a high chair for us and asked us if a booth would be ok or would we be ok with a high top. Since both were clearing up. My kids are small and the high top chairs are fairly high so we asked for the booth. This was it, we were going to be seated and finally get some food into those kids. A woman from another party then started complaining and the hostess proceeded to seat them in the booth they were getting ready for us. We assumed it wouldn't be much longer and decided to stay. They then sat everyone else in the waiting area. A very nice, I'm assuming Greek, gentleman asked if he could give the kids lollipops and agreed to make a deal with them to eat their dinner before they had the lollipops. After a wait of 1 hr and 10 minutes we decided to leave as the youngest of our group had had enough. We then put on our coats and the Greek gentleman along with the hostess came running over to tell us it would only be a few minutes. I told the hostess that she had informed us the wait was 30 minutes and we had been there over an hour. She then told me that she can't tell how long it will take. Well I have news for you, that is part of your job. Part of your job is to estimate how long it will take and then inform the patron. Being off a little is fine but being off over 40 minutes is not. The Greek Gentleman had offered a private room but after the attitude of the hostess we were all set. Another note, there was a room off to the side that they were not using. The hostess was telling people they only seat people there on the weekends. Hmmm...well we were there on a Sunday night. I'm assuming she considers Friday and Saturday the weekend, but most of us mere mortals consider Sunday the weekend. Our Sunday ended on a very aggravating note and with a review being posted to yelp. read more

Meh. Sad, really. The beer list is pretty good, but on a recent visit half of the list was OOS. Service was sub-par, and the food was a mixed bag. The menu is HUGE, but still not right. There's a lot of Greek food on the menu and while I don't think that goes with beer at all, I got the Mousakka. NO. Cold in the middle, dry, bland. I got my glass of wine I ordered with my dinner when I was done with dinner. It honestly feels like a wolf in sheeps clothing (where The Manor = wolf). The menu and food is still executed exactly like a place that attracts a flock of 65+ retirees, but with the renovation and tap list, they're trying to appear to a younger crowd. I think either formula can work, but not together. Hubs had the burger and said it was "decent". I feel like with the renovation and beer list that this place could be a hit, but the menu (and execution of the menu) needs a LOT of help. read more

She serves everyone, and jokes with customers without missing beat. Waitress Pam manages a room with excellent service. Ask her about her grand babies and watch her eyes light up. Never had a bad experience. Owners, Savvas and Katerina are always ready to pitch in when it get busy. Tell them they are great, because they are. This is "The Manor" with a facelift. Same awesome staff, great food and extensive menu. The restaurant did a complete overhaul - new floors, new tables, new bar areas new seats and lots of tv's. Very nice. I had a Mediterranean chicken - with roasted potatoes and green beans. The chicken was very moist. The spinach was abundant but slightly dry. The cream sauce was yummy. Service was great as always. No complaints here. The manor will now be the banquets facilities. Fine my be as long as the food is great, service is good and the price is right. read more

Has been remodeled. Great beer selection! Food is decent but I haven't sampled much. A million TV's. Great place to watch the game, but not a "sports bar" atmosphere, which was a good thing. I can only rate this place on drinks and ambiance since I didn't eat here. I have had this place booked marked for some time now and have never been. Or so I thought.... I help at a charity event every year at The Manor, and well this place is in the same location and I never knew it. Funny! So anyways, this place is cozy has some booths around the bar area and the. Some low top tables right in front of the fire. That's what I love best about this place. Nothing better than hanging out with friends and having a few drinks by a nice roaring fire! read more
