The food is always fresh and delicious. They are very generous on the amount of food they give.

This place is reasonably priced and you serve yourself. No hassle at all. I can just get ny own drinks at the soda machine and I don't need a server! I got 1lb shrimp with sausage, potatoes, and corn. I think the flavor is a tiny bit lacking, but the sausages was amazing! It was yummy for it being the first time eating here. I find the cajun here could be more spicy, more lemony, and definitely more salty, but its still really enjoyable to eat!

OK: I was in the area and had a craving for tacos. I wanted a place I could get to on food, and was originally drawn to The Food Lab to another place. I happened to be walking by Shrimp Shack and noticed they had chicken tacos on the menu, so I figured hey, I like Cajun and I like tacos, so why not. I was sooooo hungry at the time, so it was probably me that misread, but I didn't realize they were going to be chicken tenders on tortillas. And I didn't think the Cajun sauce was going to be on top, I thought it was going to be marinated. "Huh.... OK... what is this?" Don't let looks fool you - this is a bomb of flavors that were SO GOOD. The Cole slaw plus the chicken plus the pickles (which I ate separately) plus the Cajun sauce.. it all WORKS. Brilliantly. What a great lunch! And it let me pleasantly full. When you order, you're given a pager that works throughout the whole Food Lab. It took about ~12 minutes for my food, but everything is fresh and made to order. They have their own seating (I think it was one table and then a bar of seats), or you can eat at the common tables in the Food Lab. Definitely worth a stop in! 2026: 9/100

Solid 4.5 stars…read more Star Crab is hands down my wife's and my go-to spot for Cajun boiled seafood in Inland Empire. We've tried plenty of other places, and this one consistently gets it right. Service is always solid, the dine-in area is spacious and comfortable, and most importantly--the food is always on point. Their Cajun sauce is packed with flavor, not watered down or bland, and the seafood is cooked properly. Nothing is overcooked, rubbery, dry, or aggressively "fishy" (which is my biggest pet peeve at other boil spots). Service is solid, the dining area is spacious and clean, and the prices are fair for what you get. No gimmicks, no excuses, just consistently good food. Overall: good food, good service, good prices, and a clean restaurant. This is why we keep coming back while other Cajun places stay one-and-done. *Only reason for the 4.5-star instead of 5: PARKING. The parking lot is very limited, mainly because Star Crab and the Korean BBQ spot next door are both super busy. With two popular restaurants side by side, parking gets packed pretty much daily. Not a deal-breaker and totally worth it for the food, but something to be aware of before coming.

The shrimp and sausage jambalaya pasta comes in a pretty big portion and is incredibly rich and flavorful. The seafood boiler platter with half a pound of shrimp and half a pound of mussels is a great value, especially since it includes potatoes and sausage. And the Cajun fries? Super crispy and really good!

This is a great date spot with a really nice ambiance. The restaurant is Thai, so you already know…read morethe food is going to be good. We ordered the family set with shrimp, mussels, and crawfish. We also order one serving of rice to split between me and my bf. The total came out to around $80 with tip included, which felt pretty reasonable for the amount of seafood we got. Service was very attentive. They kept refilling our water, clearing our buckets, and checking in to make sure everything was good throughout the meal. We got the Cajun spice mild and the sauce was amazing, especially with the rice. It was very flavorful and comforting. The shrimp were definitely the highlight because they soak up the sauce really well. The mussels and crawfish were good, but the meat was a bit smaller and seemed like it might be frozen. If you are ordering, I would recommend going for the shrimp set because it pairs the best with the sauce. Overall a really enjoyable meal and a fun place for a casual date night.
