We grabbed brunch from LouVino in small business Saturday. We honestly expected them to be packed, but they were very easy to get into! Service was great, ambience is always lovely. Food options are a bit heavier than I normally eat for brunch, but otherwise a good variety! The Kentucky coffee was strong (bourbon-strong) - my waiter gave me a splash of coffee in bourbon but delicious nonetheless!

I've had great experiences my two different visits to Louvino OTR. My first experience was for my birthday dinner with a group of six. My second experience was for an intimate Mother's Day brunch with my sister and my mom. I found the service to be excellent on both occasions. The drinks were always well prepared and their pricing was what I've come to expect for OTR. I preferred dinner because I really enjoyed the small plate options- this allowed everyone at the table to eat and experience a lot of different foods. I would like to shout out the biscuits. I am not a person who enjoys eating biscuits however, I found these to be excellent. They were light and not dense at all. This is a large space. It would be great for a large group and I would return.

FANTASTIC BRUNCH! We each got a mimosa flight and standouts were the mango and blueberry. We ate the biscuits and gravy, quiche, side salad, hashbrown casserole, and donuts! Loved all of it! Our server was very welcoming and helpful. We sat by the window which was nice, very cute inside!

My family went to LouVino on a Friday evening. I've been here a handful of times in recent years but I truly miss the old small plates format of the menu pre-pandemic. The food is still good but doesn't feel as special. We started with the loaded tots appetizer which is always tasty. For our entrees we had the steak frites, shrimp scampi linguine and the shrimp and scallop risotto. The steak portion seemed small but was cooked perfectly. The risotto was a bit too salty. The scampi linguine was probably the best dish. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could. When I compare this restaurant to some of my favorites it just doesn't stack up to the level of tasty food and service that I expect. I'd say others agree since the restaurant was only half filled on a Friday night. I'd still recommend stopping here for drinks or happy hour. I just think there are better options nearby.

AMAZING dinner on Saturday. I've been wanting to go for awhile, and the stars finally aligned I started with the "cran you believe it," which was the tits. After the week I had, I ordered two. As a newly-minted fried green tomato enthusiast, I had to get an order to split with R. The pimento dip was lovely. Moving on to salads, R had his usual Cesar and I had the warm Brussels sprouts, which is one of their special house dishes...with good reason!! They were perfect. For mains he had the steak & frites and I had the scallop and shrimp risotto. Have I mentioned I'd cut a bitch for a perfectly grilled scallop?? Facts. I was stuffed but R wanted dessert, so he got an order of the chocolate chip cookie dough beignets. I had one bite and lemme tell you... YUM! Super cool place in OTR; definitely recommend. We're adding it to date night rotation!!

What I was charged for the burger. $3 more per each burger than what the menu price says.

Great cocktails, good service, mediocre dried out burger and overcharged. My daughter and I had dinner here last night before seeing a play. We made reservations but it didn't seem as though that was needed. I ordered the Smoked Maple Old Fashioned and my daughter ordered the Nearespresso Martini. Both cocktails were very good. We both chose the Umani Double Smash Burger. The burgers were overly salty and very, very dry. Definitely not what I was expecting with the word 'Umani' in the title description of the burger. The bacon was crispy and the toppings fresh. But the bun was overly chewy for some reason and the burgers dried out. All of that was bad enough for $19 each - which is already overpriced - but I was overcharged for the burgers. I didn't realize it until I was home late last night after the play. I was charged $44 for two burgers! $22 each! The online menu and the menu we were given last night shows the burger as $19. So, I was charged an extra $3 per dried out burger on a chewy bun. If the dry burger wasn't enough to keep from returning - the overcharging for an already overpriced, overcooked burger definitely did it.

Stopped in on a rainy day and had the whole place to ourselves, which made for a cozy experience. The space itself is really cool--lots of character and clearly some thoughtful design choices that give it a unique vibe. The food was decent--not mind-blowing, but there were a few solid bites and potential for more. It feels like the kind of spot that could really shine on a livelier day, especially with a full house and a bit more energy. Would love to come back and see it in its element!

Terrible service that I've ever experienced in Cincinnati. Our experience here was awful. There are literally 2 servers serving almost 50 tables. Ridiculous. Our server had no clue about the menu, when we asked her a few questions she checked with the chef and still gave us the wrong recommendation. She made us wait for a long long time to refill our coffee and water, she was never there when we wanted to order something. We ordered Brussels sprouts and they're not properly cooked, they were very hard to chew. The fries were good with ranch. We visited this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, but she had ruined my day. Never going there again. Ambience was decent, the place is really big and can accommodate big crowds.

Made a reservation here for a Saturday morning for 4 at 10am (when they open). We were seated promptly and the restaurant was quite empty. We got an assortment of items including the biscuit board, Brie stuffed French toast, Quiche Lorraine. The portion sizes were adequate and the food was delivered promptly. Overall, the food was decent. I can't say I have any particular critiques of the food, it just did not blow us away. The biscuits were maybe a little too dense, the Brie stuffed French toast felt more like a Brie grilled cheese than French toast. We didn't get any breakfast cocktails, but that list looked pretty tasty. My personal favorite part of the meal were the stuffed tater tots. With so many great and unique brunch places around, I think it's worth checking this location out once for sure.

I had been to a Kentucky location, but this was my first visit to the Cincy location. I went for a Saturday brunch and was not disappointed. My chicken and waffles was enough to save a portion for a late night snack! All of the food was really good and our server was a delight as well.

Food was great! Fast and friendly service. Cute and rustic kind of place. I'd go back.

LouVino is a great location for a meal with friends or family. Located in OTR, it's a great stop off if you're bopping around the area. We came for a quick dinner and service was fast and friendly. The ambiance is nice, but very approachable, so casual and smart casual dress will be comfortable for all. The food was fine, nothing that was epic, but also great for the price point. My wife found the Cacio e Pepe a bit unique in purses and a bit heavy, but fine on the whole. We would come back here if in the area, but there are so many restaurants in the area to explore.

What are the vegan options?

If I come here for brunch, should I make a reservation? Do I have to give them my credit card info and face a penalty for cancellation?

No you dont have to make a reservation, I went on a Sunday around 12 with my friends and just walked in and got a table without a problem. So did everyone else that came in

The location has street parking that is easier than you might think because Annata does most of its business when the nearby businesses are closed, but there's also a public pay lot across the street. The staff is like Tim - kind and helpful. I love the shop because it's in an old building with real wood floors and plaster walls and it just feels like an actual PLACE. Plentiful seating inside AND there's a killer deck out back that makes you feel like you're in the trees. Chill. The prices are better than fair - they are realistically designed so that you can enjoy good wine without going broke. Food offerings are light and there are not a ton of them but what they offer is always perfect to nosh on with your glass. If you're looking for someplace to enjoy time with friends, get a drink with a date, poke around and get some wine education with Tim, or just enjoy being someplace where you can think and relax and enjoy being a human, for a super reasonable amount of $$, Annata is my choice.

Unfortunately the kitchen was closed for the night, but we were able to relax with a multitude of choices for wine. The bar itself had a great environment where it was laid back. We enjoyed a wine flight with the Sauvignon Blanc Clarendelle, the Rosé Minuty, and the Cabernet Montes Alpha. I am definitely planning to go back in the summer where they have outdoor seating and enjoy some of the food options they have.
