Lov3 is in the air. Actually that's the smell of gross things clouding the streets near this high end club with mainly black employees and attendees. The Houston party scene is 90 percent either Black or Latino, and some of the very best clubs are within 2 blocks of here. Escobar and the appropriately-named Diosa for Latinas, and Lov3 among others practically wall to wall with them. The club is great, the employees adorable, the outfits some of the most scandalous. I've had a few valet issues, one guy in particular, and then there's the extreme aggression and psychotic driving and general behaviour of a lot of club goers in this area, usually male. Gunshots, fights, extreme stupid car crashes and danger. If it wasn't so bad in this regard, it would get 5 from me. This is one of the best clubs in Houston and Simone Biles agrees. read more

This place is a total money grab and not worth the money. Pulling up, the parking was $40 ($80 if you want to park in front). We reserved a section and it took forever to get our table. The food was bland, the drinks were mostly juice, and you get one half filled glass of water with your meal, then they charge you $6 a bottle after that. The photographer/videographer was doing constant promo videos next to our table with a bright ass light in our faces. When we were almost done with our meals, they asked us to pay. We still had drinks and a $150 hookah on the table and they asked us if we would like to relocate to the patio in 95 degree heat. We asked could we finish our drinks and they said they needed the table. I will never go here again and I suggest you don't either. read more

I've been to Lov3 several times so this review is long overdue. My first time was when they opened back in 2024. It was girl's night out so I was all for it. When we got there, I snagged street parking and walked right in after being checked at the door by the bouncers. Upon walking in, I noticed the space wasn't too big but, it had enough seating for the right amount of people. We were seated at a high top and our table had a 90min seating time. I chucked it up to them being new and wanting to serve as many patrons as they could. I didn't eat much besides fries and a topo chico. The vibe was good and so was the DJ. The next few times I "partied" at Lov3 was for a celebration so we had sections and all the things. As always, the DJ was great and the service was relatively decent. Although I've never had anything to eat here beyond the fries, my friends have never complained about their meals. It's a nice blend of a lounge, mixed with "club" vibes. read more

I have definitely fallen "in lov3" with the restaurant Lov3. I love the ambiance of the restaurant with the dim lighting, the decorations & how comfy the chairs/booths are. The staff members are super sweet (special s/o to Marcus) when it comes to service and the food/drinks are superior. I also like that they have weekly specials throughout the week because in this economy, we need every opportunity to save money. I'm just sad I didn't get to try the ink squid pasta before they removed it from the menu. 10/10- recommend! read more

Went on Thursday for ladies night complimentary valet before 9!!! And the lemon drops half price what more could a girl ask for !!! The music was at a decent volume. Ok on one hand its nit for me but on another hand in all fairness they are just taking the blueprint that has been working for Houston club/ restaurants/ lounges. The parking lot is paid, you have to make a 200$ reservation, if not you have to sit at the bar or patio which is full. The music is lound and its just another Houston spot that people come to and pay way too much for what they get. Its not good or bad. We came here for a Galentine's Day yesterday and had an amazing experience. I loved that the decor matched the name of the restaurant and our Galentine's theme. It was decorated in red roses and red drape. It was beautiful. There were about nine of us total we were able to sit right away. Our waitress was attentive and able to keep with our groups orders. For drinks we started with the tequila tower to me it wasn't that strong. I would probably order one of their other cocktails next time. They also had five dollar shots. My sister and I ended up ordering the brunch board which is not listed on the menu and comes out to $80 but includes everything on the brunch menu. It was nice to be able to sample a bit of everything. The steak was definitely our favorite. You can tell they marinate it was tender and flavorful with the chimichurri sauce. The grits were also flavorful. You can tell they cooked them in a chicken broth. The Birria tacos were really good as well with the consume. The biggest surprise for me was how good that dusse French toast was I was not expecting it and I'm not usually a fan of stuffed French toast but this one has to be the best I've had. We even got to meet the owner. He was such a nice guy. I love that this restaurant is black owned and he likes to support black excellence. We definitely will be making this one of our spots, especially since they have bingo night and a steak night. I have to get back to try that steak again. I have to just realize that any lounge I do go to has to be chill with soft music playing. I have to be real and say that Lov3 is a one (or 1/2) and done. My sister made reservations there for 9 PM and somehow the wires got crossed and I thought it was for 930. Well, each spot is reserved for 90 minutes and we were late so we only had an hour which is cool. Upon getting carded and my bag inspected by some gentlemen that appeared annoyed and didn't like their jobs we went into the establishment. We were immediately hit with the loudest, ear piercing, and beyond whack R&B (it was a R&B New Year's Eve that night). It was like the DJ was playing one hit wonders. The table we were given was a high top which I absolutely hate! My legs go numb on those things. We asked for another table and were denied. That was fine. I thought my sister specifically asked for a high top but she said she didn't. I think we both realized we didn't want to stay at the same time. We got up and left. So we never even saw a menu or their cocktail/mocktail menu. We left late and called other establishments to go to dinner then come home and pray in the New Year. I had a really good time at lov3! I came with a big group of friends after dinner in a Thursday night and they were able to get us seated immediately. Deontae was our server and he was awesome! He was very attentive and polite and checked on us consistently throughout the night. They had really good drink specials (reverse happy hour until midnight). The last thing I remember it being is a place called SET. Parking: Valet is available, but there is street parking. I will advise you to read all street signs. Tow trucks are heavy in midtown and the parking meter was not free after 6p. It looks like they have extended the time, so pay up!!! Ambiance: A total vibe. Good for date night, girls night, birthday celebrations, or just to chill. There was a live band which was pretty good. It's almost gives "club for older ppl." And I'm here for it! My friends and I visited Lov3 before an Usher concert. Parking was empty, but valet was required for $20. We arrived at 6:45 PM, and the place was empty. Our bartender, Ashley, wasn't very friendly. We ordered the $25 Flaming Trio, expecting premium tequila as advertised. It was initially made with well tequila, and Ashley argued it was correct per their cheat sheet. After pointing out the menu, she remade the drinks with premium tequila. For the second drink, she asked if we wanted the fire presentation--it's included, so of course we did. When a third friend ordered the same drink, Ashley refused to use premium tequila, claiming the menu was wrong and demanded an upcharge. We also ordered fried salmon bites, which were okay. However, staff eating and licking their fingers openly was unprofessional. The atmosphere was nice, but the service and professionalism need improvement. Plus, the cheat sheet menu behind the bar should match the menu given to customers. read more

I used to genuinely enjoy coming to Lov3 Houston. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were always good, which is why I kept returning. Unfortunately, my experience on Mother's Day completely changed my opinion of this place. Since the new manager Tiffany and another male manager (who refused to even give me his name) took over, the customer service has gone downhill fast. The professionalism and hospitality that once made this place enjoyable are clearly gone. The new bottle girls also seemed unorganized, inattentive, and more focused on attitude than actually providing good service. What made the situation worse was how dismissive management was when concerns were brought up. Refusing to identify yourself as a manager while speaking to customers is unacceptable and unprofessional. Instead of resolving issues, they made the experience uncomfortable and frustrating. It's especially disappointing because I truly believe in supporting Black-owned businesses and seeing them succeed. That's part of why I continued to support this establishment in the first place. But support should go both ways, and customers should still be treated with respect and professionalism. This used to be one of my favorite spots, but after my last experience, I will never come back or recommend it to anyone. This establishment is a complete scam and should be ashamed of its blatantly deceptive practices. I made a reservation under the impression--based entirely on how they market themselves--that this was a legitimate restaurant. I booked a table for five, expecting a nice dinner with my family while visiting the area. At no point during the reservation process was there any mention of a $1,000 minimum spend, nor was it disclosed that this is actually a nightclub masquerading as a restaurant. I only discovered the truth when I went looking for a menu--because again, I thought I had booked a restaurant. My reservation was for 8 PM--what kind of club even operates at 8 PM? That alone shows how intentionally misleading their setup is. When I realized what was going on, I naturally tried to cancel. And what do they do? Charge me $150 for canceling a reservation I made based on false, deliberately hidden information. That's not just bad service, that's fraud. This is a textbook example of false advertising, total lack of transparency, and a predatory business model designed to exploit people. If I could give zero stars, I would.
