I've been to Lov3 several times so this review is long overdue. My first time was when they opened back in 2024. It was girl's night out so I was all for it. When we got there, I snagged street parking and walked right in after being checked at the door by the bouncers. Upon walking in, I noticed the space wasn't too big but, it had enough seating for the right amount of people. We were seated at a high top and our table had a 90min seating time. I chucked it up to them being new and wanting to serve as many patrons as they could. I didn't eat much besides fries and a topo chico. The vibe was good and so was the DJ. The next few times I "partied" at Lov3 was for a celebration so we had sections and all the things. As always, the DJ was great and the service was relatively decent. Although I've never had anything to eat here beyond the fries, my friends have never complained about their meals. It's a nice blend of a lounge, mixed with "club" vibes.

Showing off the ambiance of the restaurant. I love the roses hanging from the ceiling .

I have definitely fallen "in lov3" with the restaurant Lov3. I love the ambiance of the restaurant with the dim lighting, the decorations & how comfy the chairs/booths are. The staff members are super sweet (special s/o to Marcus) when it comes to service and the food/drinks are superior. I also like that they have weekly specials throughout the week because in this economy, we need every opportunity to save money. I'm just sad I didn't get to try the ink squid pasta before they removed it from the menu. 10/10- recommend!

Lamb chops, mac n cheese and lemon drops clearly it was good I took picture mid eating lol

Houston let me tell you! In the last couple of years it's been hard finding places that celebrated the ladies! However Lov3 delivered! Went on Thursday for ladies night complimentary valet before 9!!! And the lemon drops half price what more could a girl ask for !!! The music was at a decent volume. The food let's get into it the lamb chops whew delicious paired it with the mac n cheese and perfection. I will definitely be back on Thursday night ladies night with the girlies.

Came here after an event on a Saturday evening ! This place gets packed pretty quickly so if you don't get a section or try to reserve then be okay with standing at the bar! Hookah was a bit pricey! We ordered wings and fries for the table & they were okay! DJ was great! Had. Good ole time

Went here for a birthday dinner and drinks with friends on a Friday night. There was a DJ playing old school R&B. Service was good and drinks were good. They have drink specials and happy hour as well.

We came here for a Galentine's Day yesterday and had an amazing experience. I loved that the decor matched the name of the restaurant and our Galentine's theme. It was decorated in red roses and red drape. It was beautiful. There were about nine of us total we were able to sit right away. Our waitress was attentive and able to keep with our groups orders. For drinks we started with the tequila tower to me it wasn't that strong. I would probably order one of their other cocktails next time. They also had five dollar shots. My sister and I ended up ordering the brunch board which is not listed on the menu and comes out to $80 but includes everything on the brunch menu. It was nice to be able to sample a bit of everything. The steak was definitely our favorite. You can tell they marinate it was tender and flavorful with the chimichurri sauce. The grits were also flavorful. You can tell they cooked them in a chicken broth. The Birria tacos were really good as well with the consume. The biggest surprise for me was how good that dusse French toast was I was not expecting it and I'm not usually a fan of stuffed French toast but this one has to be the best I've had. We even got to meet the owner. He was such a nice guy. I love that this restaurant is black owned and he likes to support black excellence. We definitely will be making this one of our spots, especially since they have bingo night and a steak night. I have to get back to try that steak again. For parking there is street parking and they also offer a valet for $20 cash or $25 card.

You've got to love LOV3!!! It's definitely a vibe. Location: Located in midtown near Travis Street across from Midtown Park, this place has been multiple venues. The last thing I remember it being is a place called SET. Parking: Valet is available, but there is street parking. I will advise you to read all street signs. Tow trucks are heavy in midtown and the parking meter was not free after 6p. It looks like they have extended the time, so pay up!!! Ambiance: A total vibe. Good for date night, girls night, birthday celebrations, or just to chill. There was a live band which was pretty good. It's almost gives "club for older ppl." And I'm here for it! Service: The service was just okay for a busy night. Food: I ordered the pasta. The dish was quite bland. I had to ask for red chili peppers and put a bit of salt in it. Probably a dish I won't order again! If I go to LOV3 again, it may be more for the drinks and the vibe. The food menu could use a bit of improvement.

Considering the recent shutter of other places (#2) within the hospitality umbrella, it's not too big of a surprise that Wooster's would also be in the crosshairs. The space was always a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating, which combined with its dedicated parking lot made this an easy drinking outlet for all kinds of occasions. The intimate indoor space was lovely and well ventilated, and it felt like there wasn't ever a moment where the bar wasn't slammed. The outdoor space was much of the same, with lots of tables and chairs, and even the trendy swing chairs facing the city. The only thing that was a little bit of a liability were those open flame heaters; it would only take on person to accidentally walk into one or trip onto it. For libations, the drinks were well priced, well made, and always potent. I appreciated the aesthetics, as well as the bartenders who made them. The only part that wasn't exciting was the limited food menu, which did its part as munchies for the drink heavy crowd, but was mediocre otherwise. The space is already undergoing the new facelift of a separate concept, one of which I hope will do the area justice, just as much as Wooster's did. ____________ (#1) The Kirby Group. (#2) R.I.P. This is definitely a dive bar and seems to really be geared towards the local neighborhood. From the outside and even the inside, you may not think much of it but it was a pleasant surprise and they have so many cocktails to try. We got there a little early on a Friday night and were one of the only groups there but a rather large party/gathering came in maybe 30mins or so afterwards. The mixologist? was super friendly and gave recommendations as there are just so many cocktail options. Drinks took a bit to be made but she was by herself and we each ordered a different drink. The drinks themselves were really good and there's definitely something for everyone here. I really enjoyed my lady earl and we even tried a hot cheeto drink (not my favorite but it was fun to try and really does taste like a hot cheeto). I think this is just a fun place to check out and hang out. I'm glad to have this as a local spot not and am looking forward to trying more of their drinks!

I went because this was the only bar open during Labor Day when I had guest visiting. So I would say it's a pretty nice location, considering the fact that it is always consistently open. They had a good menu with different cocktails that were fun and fruity. Otherwise, I did also see people could order coffee at the bar and have different espresso drinks. It looks like the drink that I ordered is also no longer on the menu. The bar prides itself on having a rotating meal changing menu so I think that's a lot of fun when it comes to trying new drinks and new combinations and it truly shows the artistry of the bartender. There was the option of both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior was more of a dimmer, elegant and darker tone. I can see it being pretty classic if you were to go at night time. The bar set up was really beautiful and they had different 2 to 4 seating wooden tables. Overall, the inside would probably only fit around 20 people. I was very sad because we couldn't sit outside. The day before it had rained so every outdoor seating was wet. But I was told that they had a beautiful seating outside with a garden and a pool. Service was good. The bartender came out of the bar to take orders, give menus and give you the check. I will say that it got really busy at the end and it took a while to get our check. There's only one or two bartenders working at one time so if there's multiple people with different drinks that are ordered, it will take a little bit longer. Not hard to find, it's located to the right as you walk in. What brought us here is that it's listed as one of the top 50 bars in Houston in Houstonia Magazine. Service (3/5): While we had a waitress, she was slow to greet us and slow to check up on us. It's a small bar and there isn't a ton of seating so it's not like she was overwhelmed. For a fancy hotel, you expect better. Maybe sitting at the bar is better than sitting at some seats as we did. Ambiance (4/5): The Colombe d'Or is a beautiful hotel and Bar No. 3 reflects that. It's an elegant spot to grab a drink, although small. Food (N/A): While there are expensive items on the menu, I had dinner earlier that night so I was on a liquid diet. Drinks (3/5): Bar No. 3 is known for its cocktails so I focused on the cocktail list. The list isn't large but it features a nice selection. Like the food, you're going to pay a premium. I enjoyed my adult beverage but felt like it was a bit overpriced. Hitting up hotel bars isn't a common occurrence in Houston unless you're a traveler. For Bar No. 3 to be the only hotel bar on Houstonia's top 50 is a feat in itself.
