I've been wanting to eat here for so long! I finally got the chance and this place did not disappoint. Service was friendly and quick. Ambiance is cozy, and the food is on point the Dominican fritura had a good serving and the tostones sliders were delicious. Will be back

This spot is when I don't feel like going anywhere far from my apartment to pick up a bite to eat for breakfast. The prices are okay, ehh can be cheaper. I only can vouch for the breakfast platter and Dominican breakfast platter for the taste of food. They are both good, home fries have good flavor. The place in the seating area in the back can get a little updated. It's so cramped up with the style of choice they have for there metal chairs and tables.

Ummm....?! So I order this wonderful picture thinking that my food will come out just like the picture that is seen on the top.( that what they were advertising). Nope!! It came out like the picture that on the bottom. This is called " false advertising" you can not advertise a photo , then give the buyer whatever you feel like it, it's not proper Business. I was so upset I didn't want eat it , i was really trying to send it back. It made me so mad that spend 11$ on that bullshit. Thinking I was going to get a plate ,but got a sandwich instead I could've of went to my local deli in got the same thing for 3$. - I'm never ordering from this business again ,if they can false advertise this picture to get people to buy ,what other pictures are they false advertising ?( No thank you). -Im only giving the delivery guy 5 star because he was on-time.

I wanted to love this place bc it looks so cool and it was on my "must visit" list for such a long time. But my mocha was tasteless. My French toast with the works was a watery runny mess and my bf 's salad was okay at best. I will say the people who work here are super nice, helpful and awesome to talk to so I guess two stars for the great staff!

I'm not a Karen at all but I'm sure they've seen how the plate looked like while they were making it I would've appreciated an effort I'm not sure how to even eat this I can easily walk back there because I don't live too far and give it back but come on!

Cute little coffee shop on pleasant avenue! Warning: Cash only! I ordered a grilled cheese with American cheese and a small vanilla chai. The grilled cheese was scrumptious but, my drink was lukewarm.Nonetheless, I would stop by again.

Very small establishment. Not made to sit inside. They only have one table inside, and two tables outside. It's more of a order to go place. The chicken sandwich was decent, but when I ordered the Crispy Chicken & Waffles, the chicken came out very dry.

Pros: 1) nice vibe; 2) great customer service; 3) nice waiter; 4) music; 5) yummy latte Cons: 1) seating area looks very boring, no decorations and too dark; 2) water from faucet in the restroom comes out very low, couldn't wash my hands; 3) forks is plastic.

Returned to Love Cafe sooner than I thought and ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a waffle. The bacon was a tad bit salty but honestly it matched well with syrup giving me a sweet n salty mix. Still in love with this place so ofcourse I'll be back.

This is really a nice cute little place. Super small with 4 tables in the back. You will be waiting awhile if it gets crowded. Came here to meet a great friend of mine. The menu is small with limited selections between breakfast and lunch. The person who served us, whom I believe is the owner, was fantastic. I chose the Love breakfast which is your basic 2 eggs how you want it with a choice of meat (bacon, sausage patty, ham or turkey bacon) with fries, home fries or hash with a choice of toast. It was really good and fresh. I wish they could add omlettes to their menu. But overall I was satisfied with my meal. My friend had the E Love breakfast and she loved it as well. It has grilled chicken, onions, egg whites and home fries. She gave me some to try and loved it as well. Enjoy!

Having been tasked with the job of driving my kids to their weekday & weekend examines at their school, I have found a little haven across the street at this café. Their coffee is very good and for $1 a cup I am happy for a while... especially since there is very little else around the neighborhood at 8am in the morning. I also frequent their orange truck down on Wall St. in the morning; same friendly service and old-fashion rock & roll music.

What time does this location open on Saturday.. it's 26 May and it's closed?

May 26 is part of a Holiday weekend. Their hours will be different so check the website or call the locatiin beforehand. That goes for all places today. It's Harlem.

How large is the dining area here?

It's pretty small. There are four 2-top tables, but two of the tables can be put together to accommodate four, maybe five people. There is a bar, too, that accommodates five people, maybe six, can't quite remember. It's small but awesome!

    Is this place cash only?

    Sure is.

Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. I ordered the market salad with mixed greens, honeycrisp apples, goat cheese, candied pecans, and sherry vinaigrette. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

The inside looked really nice with some nice pictures on the wall and lots of space for seating. They also have a downstairs that has a bar and plenty of seating. It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.

I can add mustard to every bite instead of all over the sandwich. My son and I split a pastrami and the beef brisket together to be able to sample at least two types of meats. My wife ordered the half corned beef sandwich with a bowl of French onion soup, so we got to sample a bite of each of those as well. Surprisingly we finished everything and still had room for a home made strawberry cheesecake which was amazing.
