This place rules. I've dropped off clothes and bedding at the midtown location twice. They are friendly, fast and affordable; and you can pick unscented soap if that's what you need! Everything comes back clean and folded so nicely you almost don't want to get it all dirty again. :) read more

We use this Love Laundry a few times a month and it's always a very busy spot. The parking lot is terrible, don't be surprised when you go. There are often issues getting in and out of the very few spaces available. The pricing is fair and the free dry with wash is a great deal, when dryers are available. It's pretty frustrating to have to wait with wet clothes when people are allowed to take over all of the free dryers. There is no regulation. I have never seen someone use the paid dryers so I'm not sure why they don't make all of the dryers free so there are more available to people waiting around. It backs up the whole system. The people who work are nice and keep the place tidy, which is nice when you're sitting around waiting. read more

I have to take the time to give this laundromat a ton of credit. Parking is right out front, and visible from inside. Tons of fun places to visit during the wash cycle. Serena that works there went above and beyond in helping, answering ALL of my questions, had the best up beat attitude. Serena keeps the place spotless, and was so extremely kind making the whole experience wonderful. Shs was very confident in the quality of the machines which was very reassuring. My dryer had went out and so me and my husband decided to go WASH AND DRY the rest of our laundry at the k St location. I sent my husband in to go put the wet clothes in the freezer dryer immediately due to the fact they were wet while I was gathering the clothes that needed to be washed. He then comes out back to me saying that he was told he can't use the dryer and that they turned the dryer off because we didn't wash there. I go inside and try to express to the employee that she doesn't know if I was coming to wash or not and that she is assuming im not washing which indeed I was, in the midst of talking to her she says "I don't care" and turns ALL the dryers off completely.Words were exchanged and she calls the police and I wait inside until police come. They DO NOT trespass us and actually were on our side stating that the employee was wrong and tells us to go to the location on S st. We then proceeded to the other location the POLICE OFFICER told us about where we were followed by a different employee at the last location on K st. Words were exchanged between the 2 employees and now we were being watched. They turned off both dryers we were using for our already wet clothes and I never even gotten a chance to start washing. My husband walks over to 1 of the dryers we were using and a big tall white man comes out of nowhere and starts talking to him and I walk over to see what was going on. Apparently it is the GM for both locations, I yet again try to explain the situation including how we were followed and he continuously is talking over me. He tells us to just leave we grab our stuff and are about to walk out but we have to walk pass the employee and the GM to leave. As im walking out I ask the employee why did she follow us and my husband is walking towards us and the GM comes out of nowhere again and assaulted me and my husband by pepper spraying us in close range by an industrial fan. Feedback to Management: -Clean and safe location. -Poorly organized drop off cleaning service. -Low Courtesy from Staff The store should open 3 hours early so staff can start washing drop off service clothes. Staff is constantly up and down the aisles with carts, disrupting other customers. The staff also use various washers and dryers, always dodging in and between the path of customers. And... a big AND. The staff never says excuse me. The staff never greets customers. All in all the service is mediocre and the physical comfort is inconvenient and annoying with the staff always moving up and down the aisle--without any courtesy towards customers watching tv or using mobile device. Do not use their drop-off service! I brought in a bed set sheet and I didn't open the bag until a few weeks after I picked it up and I discovered it was missing a pillowcase. I now have three pillowcases from a set of four. I called this morning to follow up from the first time I called since I was told I'll be receiving a call back from the owners about my missing pillowcase from reviewing the footages. No call backs yet. Let me point out I brought in three separate bags of laundry that I requested washed SEPARATELY. Reading other reviews there seems to be pattern of employees washing things together whether you request it washed separately or not. I'm guessing that's how they lost my pillowcase but we'll see--if I ever hear from them regarding my lost pillowcase. I wonder if the employees actually do what you ask: for example, wash separately and use "delicate" to dry. They probably just cram everything in one washer and dryer and put it on high to save money. In case you didn't know, high drying setting shrinks clothes. Sad thing is I have two other big loads I was going to drop off but I am now apprehensive to use their service. Mind you their drop off service is not cheap. This is an instance of why I don't like tipping in advance or at all. Now a days it is expected even with bad quality work or service. I will update this if I get a resolution to this issue, otherwise avoid using their drop off service or risk losing your garments or pieces of your bed sets. read more

Great service, clean, lots of washers and dryers available this morning (veterans day saturday). Parking was a bit tight but the turnover is quick. Could be more challenging on busier days. Anyway the recent reviews made me worry but this place is not bad at all, especially in a pinch. Washer prices were 7-8$ for the monster load i lugged in there, not terrible. Dryers are free and are huge. Have to press the button every 12 minutes but after 2-3 runs, my clothes were warm and dry. They have wifi. Bring your own detergent unless you want to pay $1 per pod. Perfect laundromat to utilize there drop off service. I highly recommend this laundromat to an individual seeking a clean, friendly, professional expert wash and fold service. I get around the Sacramento region for work, so I have visited plenty of wash and fold laundromats but I'm more impressed by love laundry than any other. There affordable, they use brand name laundry detergents and fabric softeners, if you request specific directions on your fabrics they follow the directions well. When I pick up my garments, there never ruined or have stains. They accept credit and Apple Pay! The parking lot is a tad bit small, but I haven't had any issues finding parking close to the laundromat and I find the area very safe. I don't usually go to laundromats but out of the few I've visited, this was the cleanest, most convenient, most modern, and had the best vibes. You can keep to yourself or talk to friendly customers. Its parking lot has like 10 spaces but there's plenty of street parking. Pleasant, quiet neighborhood. And they have TAP TO PAY!!!! No more quarters required!!!!! That was the selling point for me, since I've never seen that in a laundromat. 2-load washer is $5, 4-load is $10 with tap-to-pay (you save 25-50¢ if you use quarters I think). They also have 1, 6, and 8-load washers. Free dry with wash. I appreciate their effort towards the logo and design. You don't see that at many laundromats. I also like that you see the time remaining on your wash/dry so you don't need to guess. The only issue I had was that my tide pod got stuck in the door despite placing it under the laundry, but the attentive attendant was able to restart the cycle for me. I also saw someone else's socks get stuck in the door. The bill breaker is a little sus...I'd probably go to another change machine. Overall, this is my new go-to laundromat in midtown Sacramento. I normally despise going to public laundromats for many reasons but this place is above decent. I had a three load washer for six dollars. Their washers are setup to take credit/ATM cards which was really convenient. Then to my pleasant surprise, the dryer was FREE! I don't know if it was a promotion but it made me pretty darn happy. They have a parking lot that was full so I parked on the street. It has two isles so narrow that you have to keep letting people by while putting in and taking out your clothes. I have been going to love laundry for the past 2 years. Drop off & doing my laundry myself. Tonight, they lost my business. At the end of the night after spending $50 dollars worth of laundry money, the woman (Hispanic / curly hair) refused to give me a 1 plastic bag for my laundry. It was a dollar. I didn't have 1 dollar in cash and their card reader was broken. Poor customer service. On top of that, they were blocking the exits with all of their stuff and we had to go around a specific way bumping into other's customer's trying to finish their stuff at the end of the night. MULTIPLE times I've arrived a few minutes after their intended hours 6am and they have been late to open. They used to open earlier which was very convenient for my work schedule but understandably 6am is the earliest now they open... if they even have someone there. A month or so ago I arrived at 6 and the person to work on the roof was there and no one to open so he opened the store and let me in. Today, the store opened over an hour late! I asked if there was a way they would be able to do a courtesy drop off since by the time someone arrived, I would typically be leaving with my clean laundry, and the attendant said no you can come tomorrow. I understand things happen, but the lack of customer service floored me. It's a clean facility, it's busy a lot of the times, and in my recent experience always opens late. Don't plan your trip around their open times or you may ruin your schedule for it! Grr. Thanks for literally nothing. Also extremely overpriced for drop-off services. $40 for maybe 2-3 load wash? Change your hours to 7am if you can't open the business when you say you will. read more

The location is cute but very small for the area/location. They do participate in the free dry program, but don't enforce the "half full" rule or do anything about people leaving their dry laundry in them for an hour. I come here regularly because it's still a little bit nicer to deal with than the typical laundromat. Because of the location, this Love Laundry does get many unhoused/"self medicating" customers. Today, a homeless man with his pants practically around his ankles entered the place blasting his music on his phone. I did my best to avoid him but he was pacing and moving erratically. I just ignored it for the most part until he brushed up against me three times trying to walk by, and then used the drier next to me, opened it forcefully and almost hit me in the face with the door, and would have had my laundry cart not stopped it. A few of the guests were talking to the girl working about this individual, and she had said she didn't want to address him due to fear of how he would react, and was afraid of the confrontation. After the man brushed me from behind multiple times and almost hit me in the face, I moved to the only other open folding table area. I started to fold my clothes when I notice a small piece of tape that said "employee folding area only". I asked the employee if it was ok for me to fold my clothes there due to the behavior of the man, and she politely responded "of course, that's totally fine". When the man finally left, I had lots of clothes folded on the table at this point. She then came over and said since he's gone I would need to move (as in move all of my clothes across the aisle to another folding table). As I was bagging up my belongings she asked two more times over a five minute period if I was almost done (I was actively putting things into bags the entire time). At this point I ignored her and continued bagging up my belongings and tried to hurry out. She stood and waited and talked to her boyfriend who has hanging out the whole time at a nearby bench (not washing clothes) just talking to her. When I began to ignore her, she said "ma'am" three more times and then talked to her boyfriend in Spanish about "puta gringa". The laundry attendant at 25th and k st at 6:30 pm Sunday 7/02/2023: told me I had to move my vehicle because I was illegally parked. I told her I would and promptly did so, after moving the vehicle i asked her why the other car didn't have to move even though it was double parked. She mocked me and then told me to leave because I asked. I am a white male, the attendant is black and the owner of the vehicle is black. The office management told her to let me finish my laundry and leave. Now the laundry attendant is turning off machines as soon as I put laundry detergent in machines. This place is horrible when it comes to any help or washing. This is my second time here and will definitely be my last. I had no issues with the 2 load washers before, with my comforter. Well this second time around, the washer decided to rip it right open. When I tried to get help about this, the la...I'm sorry "the girl" tried to talk to me stupid. Saying "that loader is too small for it. You should have used a bigger loader. We aren't responsible." Etc. I'll tell you what, little girl? Just because a signed is posted about not being responsible for damages to property, with NO specifics, means nothing in the real world. I tried asking to other "girl" to see if I can file a complaint because of my comforter being ripped. She just totally ignored me, and left. I guess because it was her time off already. Too bad the comforter is not much the hassle to file for, in small claims court. Because I would. The only plus side of this place, are the free dryers. Big whoop! Super clean laundromat! None of my clothes were damaged in the washers and driers so that's good! They offer free drying in 12 min cycles. My only problem is $68 plus the$10 tip. I got to say having your laundry done for for you is hands down probably the nicest thing that you could possibly do for yourself. Love laundry really really does good job everything is folded perfectly it smells perfect it's one of those things that you can treat yourself to occasionally because it is expensive I didn't even bring in half of my laundry this was too small laundry baskets it's a 10 lb minimum so it adds up really really quickly if you need same day service expect to pay more the service I got hands down I don't know customer service in this town has been falling by the wayside but this place has it on the mark, don't forget to tip the person who washes your dirty clothes. The reason why we continue to do our laundry here is because of their service. Attendant always here, very clean and the fact that you can use debit or credit card to use quad load washers. My first visit I did two loads of laundry it's pretty packed in there but understandable since other locations are dirty sketchy and with the sun going down I'm not about that life. This place is the complete opposite! It's cute decor catches u and the big machines get the job done. During the wait of my wash I noticed they have laundry service and the next day it's done. So I did just that the following day. I brought in 35lbs of laundry.. how I know it's 35lbs is because the weight the clothing and that's how they charge. Which Is okay, and man when I tell you I had perfectly folder clothing .. IT WAS PERFECT i received every single piece of clothing back. Very honest business and carful with all the variety of textures of different clothes. I'm impressed! Def loved the service. Love Laundry is an appropriate title for this laundromat. Most laundromats I've been to should be titled "Barely Passable" or "Mostly Out of Order," but Love is the only one that lives up to its name. Simply put, they put enough thought and care into their philosophy, layout and machinery to show they actually care about more than taking in the quarters. I come here every so often because of the large load machines which will take my comforters. Otherwise, I can't find many places that would clean them without a large fee. The machines are always in good working order and environmentally efficient, for whatever that means. It's a clean place with a lot of light. Even in the middle of downtown on a dark night, you feel safe and can be left to your business. They had an ATM and the machines take quarters. Bring your own change if you can just in case. The free use of the dryers when you pay for a wash is awesome. I bring a lot of clothing and articles and I never spend even half as much as I think I'll have to. They are open very late but one time I went in the evening and was behind in putting the clothes in the dryer. I ended up not completing loads till after they were supposed to be closed. The woman working that shift was tremendously understanding and insisted I didn't need to rush to finish. She told me a couple of times to relax and take all the time I needed to finish my drying and to feel free to fold my clothes when they were done. She is an awesome woman and I really appreciate her understanding and kindness. The facility is always clean as well as the restroom. I used to dread having to go to the laundromat. I live in a building where there's often no available washers or dryers. Frustrating at times but luckily, I can generally head over to Love and get my clothes taken care of. While the parking lot is rather small, I appreciate their large size washers that run on cards! I'm not a fan of needed to lug around quarters or having to make pit stops to get quarters. Dryers are free so long as you wash and that's awesome! It's generally quite quiet and I'm able to do some reading while my clothes are washing. I did the wash and fold 2 times and it has been perfect. Walk in, drop off your stuff and pick it up later or the next day. I did next day it is about $20. That's for 5 pairs of work pants, 7 underwear, 6 pairs of socks, and 5 work shirts. They have been perfectly folded and feel great. Better then when It is done at home. I was approached by an attended who told me that she could not allow me to dry my clothes there because I did not wash them there. I was using a pay dry and have it done this for months and I'm not aware of any rule about washing it there as well. Chronic disappointment at this place. I'm having a bad experience every time I go now. So we are still in Covid days. I am in my car waiting for the dryer, and then I go in and I don't find my stuff only to be told by a customer that the store manager took the liberty of taking my stuff out, put them in a basket of her choice, touching them with her hands, because they needed the space. When I finish washing my clothes I usually put them in a clean bag that I bring with me, and I don't want them to be put in one of the store baskets that are touched by other people, and I especially do not want somebody else to touch my clean laundry.
