I come at six am and it's rarely busy, and I Came today around 12 and there were people but the mask rule was enforce thank god because it is tidy spot but I usually put my clothes in and set a timer and go outside I've noticed since the pandemic when I'm here the ladies sanitize a lot so that's good business practices Midtown laundry is more expensive than love laundry so I stopped going there and I'm glad I found LL. Just moved around the area, and this location was suggested by an AirBnB host. Everything was great-- quick wash, free unlimited fast dry. The ability to use a card. Cool music. Masks regulated. Kind staff. The only downside was that it was really packed, even though social distance signs of 6-feet apart were posted everywhere. Every washer and nearly every dryer were being used, about 90% capacity-- literally an arms length away from the next person. I get it, right now it's all about making money to keep businesses up; and I'm not sure how this would be regulated given the wash & dry cycle. Maybe make it mandatory that you have to stay in while your clothes are washing, and can't leave until they're dry, or give up your spot and have to wait in line again to complete your dry. Or even have scheduled appointments or time slots? Either way, this needs to be regulated for health and safety. Pre-pandemic, I'd give this place 5 stars. read more

When my laundry room was damaged from a pipe burst at my apartment complex, I knew I would need to visit a laundromat. My last experience at a laundromat was less than optimal so I was dreading the search for a place to get my clothes washed. After reading many reviews on Yelp, I decided to visit Love Laundry. It was clean, bright and welcoming. The gal that was working there was helpful and pleasant. I was surprised when I saw her sweeping the floors, at least twice, in the hour I was there. She also did a clean check within the laundromat and organized the wagons so they weren't in blocking the aisles whenever she got a chance. Very nice! They have a variety of washing machines that do 2,3,4,6 or 8 loads at once! Wow! Those large capacity washers saved me some time since I have a household of 4. The dryers were free so that helped our "laundry budget". We have used this laundromat twice so far and the fact that my husband doesn't mind coming with me is a sign that this place rocks! =) Now if it only served beer ... hahaha!! read more

Came to wash but was 2 minutes before last call (8:30) and weird lady working said no . I mean I guess, it's 2 minutes past last call.. even though they close at 10 . So I took my laundry back to the car and went inside to use the restroom, because I'm 5M pregnant and have to go , same weird lady told me no because I might "vandalize" LMAO i was wearing a dress and only had my phone in my hand. I was a client here for years. I used their drop off service regularly. I have delicate items that shrink easily in the wash. There items are special to me and took time and money to cultivate. During drop off, I would always specify delicate setting wash and dry. Despite this, many of my pieces have come back shrunken over the years and some have even come back stained. I called the manager twice in the last month to explain this and get reimbursement and recieved no reply from him. After being a loyal customer for years, I am very disappointed. I've had to donate hundreds of dollars worth of product as a result of my directions not being followed and clothes being left unusable. I would highly dissuade anyone who has clothes requiring special care (linen, etc) from coming here. read more

I used Love Laundry's drop off service and was thoroughly impressed. I needed a bunch of clothes cleaned but didn't have anytime to do it on my own. Something abou the simplicity of dropping of a giant bag of dirty clothes and picking up a perfectly folded stack makes me happy. The staff was very helpful in letting me know my options. I go out of my way to go to this laundromat, it's extremely clean and well stocked. The employees are very nice and helpful. I liked this place right up to the day my entire load of folded towels walked out the door last month. I got a call back from an owner or manager a few days later letting me know nothing was found. An offer to check the cameras would have been nice. I lost a dozen bath towels, half a dozen hands towels and half a dozen wash cloths, just gone. Walked out the door. Im pretty sure it was two people working together, one holding my attention with some pity party story while the other packed out my stuff. Midtown is the worst location. It stinks with thieves and hustlers. So now you are forewarned. Keep your eyes on your shit. I prefer a place with community. read more

I'm disappointed and disgusted at love laundry tonight. I have been coming since it opened and have always said good things about this place but tonight. That's another story. Yes it's busy but the place is dirty floors, soap on top of the machines everywhere. Required masks. Lol not at this location. About 8 people had no masks on, walking around talking and had no mask at all on in this small laundry mat. How disappointing.... definitely will have to find a new laundry mat. read more

Love laundry is probably the most annoying laundromats around midtown . One of their main selling points is that they offer "free" drying. What do they think we are stupid? Of course they just jack the price up on the wash, and recently they reduced the "free" dry from 15 minutes to 12 minutes which makes the whole experience, which was already annoying, worse. I like to get dinner while washing and drying, and now I have to run back every 12 minutes instead of 15 minutes. Also, you can't add quarters to the free dry... I'm give them one extra star for not being a death hazard anymore and reversing their doors from pushing in to pushing out. It only took them how many years? read more

See I typically go here and drop my clothes off,no problem but sometimes the workers are on a break and I have to wait for their return. Last time I dropped my clothes off at this time it was fine pick up same time the next day. However tonight I called just in case to see if the will be a worker there so I don't have to wait till their break is up. The worker tells me not to drop off my clothes because the cut off is 4:30. I know that there is a cut off if you expect it to be done the same day. So I told her that I was going to pick them up the following day and the worker said that I could not drop them off. All I'm saying is if you don't want to work say that then don't lie about a cut off time. Thank you to the other Love laundry's who confirmed that there was no cut off time. read more

I visited Love Laundry this past Saturday morning around 6:45 a.m. My first impression was the remodel of this laundromat was successful - everything is shiny new and very clean. There are lots of signs displayed to assist in locating the washer you may need, whether its a one-load, 4-load, all the way up to an 8-loader. There were around 6 or 7 other people doing laundry but there were plenty of empty washers and space to fold clothes once they came out of the dryer. A one-load wash will set you back $2.75 and you get a free dry. There are also stand-alone dryers that cost a quarter (probably 15 mins of dry time but I didn't check). Other amenities include two vending machines, one for snacks and one for laundry products. There are several flat-screen TVs scattered around showing various news programs. Magazines and local rags are stacked high for your reading pleasure. And there's a little sink in case you need to wash up. One thing I found surprising was that there was no attendant on duty. I was there until after 8:00 a.m. and several people came in looking for the attendant...maybe to pick up their clothes?? The only thing I still don't care for at this location is the parking lot. All of the spaces are compact. So if your car isn't compact, you'll be stuck parking on the street. Good luck with that! It's pretty rare that I need to use a laundromat, but it's good to know Love Laundry can fill that need when necessary. read more

When my washer broke I thought it was going to be difficult to go through the entire process of washing, dying, and folding my laundry but Love Laundry made it so easy. Not only is the environment nice and inviting to make it easier to handle all of this with the slew of other people that are ALWAYS at laundromats, but the staff here is phenomenal! Especially Serenea, she made coming here my go-to spot. She helped me by explaining all of the rules and helping me with any questions I needed. She helped when I couldn't understand how to use the card machine on the washer/dryers -'d Explained the difference between paid/free drying and made this entire process so easy. Total agreement that this is, "the best laundromat in Sacramento," as many of the other reviews have stated. It's clean, well attended, modern, well lit, and fully equipped and operational (I haven't seen any machines that were ever out of order). I don't think I've ever been to a laundromat that's actually had a nice logo or paint job, but this has both. The free dryers and the multiple load machines (3-6 load capacity I think) make it even easier. It could use more seating, but for the most people figure it out. They have free wifi, but I usually find myself watching the closed captioned tv shows. Last visit I spotted the Speed Queen Jumbo dryer that could probably be used for king sized comforters. They have paid dryers and laundry service as well. Overall the people there have been pretty cool. You get your typical midtown young professional crowd (tweakers included) and your crying babies and out-of-control kids, but compared to other places it's still in a league of its own. Peak hours get kind of busy, so do whatever you can to avoid them (wish i knew what they were so I could tell you). read more

Love Laundry is probably the best Laundromat that I have used in Sacramento. They have a lot of washers that are separated by loads. I used the 4 loads for a comforter and 2 loads of clothes and got the clean-nice-fresh wash for $5.25, .25 for a hotter wash. The nice thing about this place is the free dry. The dryers fit a lot and go in increments of 10 minutes a dry. It took me 30 minutes to dry all my laundry. There's also a place for you to fold. This laundromat is very roomy and spacious. Not to mention there's free wifi, that is actually fast, vending machines with food/laundry items (a bit pricey but reasonable) and a few seatings. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was semi packed but I did not have to wait for the machines. This is my definite go to for laundry. read more

I go to the Love Laundry Midtown all the time, never had any problems. today I go in because it had rained and I work delivery so my jacket had gotten damp, but it was making me cold. so on my break I thought I would dry my hoodie in a dryer for a quarter, easy fix to my dilemma. I had just washed it there the night before, so it was clean. I walk in and go to the pay dryers and an employee asks can I help you? I say no I am going to pay to dry my hoodie. she I could not user the dryers unless I washed it, it's not dirty just a little damp. she's was rude. I have seen lots of people dry lots of things that they didn't wash. I am pissed off and find that employee ad being rude. I don't recommend live laundry midtown. read more

This place got a nice remodel and it's usually not as full at any one time as you'd think, but it does stay very busy, which is a plus for me. LOVE laundry is the cleanest laundromat with urban hipsters. The workers are happy friendly people who keep this location spotless. I went to Tres Hermanas to have lunch while I do my laundry. When I returned to the laundromat, one of my loads were in the cart so others can use a large washer respectively. I feel I can leave my laundry here without becoming worried to have it stolen. The patrons are friendly. A guy hit on me telling me my eyes are pretty. Harmless! Free dry for customers who do laundry! Parking lot can be full quickly. It's busy this morning. This place is going downhill pretty fast. The staff used to take really good care of keeping the place swept and up kept while people were doing their laundry. On my most recent visit the floor was covered in garbage. There was a sanitary napkin on the floor. There were people sitting on the folding tables with their feet in the carts (in front of the sign that says no sitting on the folding table), all while the one person staff was oblivious to anything going on. Best laundromat I've been to in (midtown) Sacramento! Fast washers, great snacks in the machines, good tunes playing. The larger machines have credit card readers! I did not know this when I came, but I will be trying it out next time instead of carrying rolls of quarters! There is free parking in front, but only compact spaces. If you have a bigger car/SUV you might consider the side street parking instead, but be aware this area can be difficult to park in during peak times! My only complaint is that there are few places to sit. This was not an issue while I was there as there were few other people, but I can see it being an issue during busier times. This may also be because they are new and still putting the place together, so I am giving them a benefit of a doubt and not removing a star over it. read more

I have been noticing that the charges on my credit card are way higher than the cost of the machine but I just figured it would work itself out when it all cleared. Well this time I waited a few days for the charges to clear and added up the cost and THEY OVERCHARGE. Do not use credit or debit cards here, they steal money from you and hope you don't notice. read more
