Their interview process was so professional; talked me through everything upfront so I knew what to expect. Facility: very clean! My dog never comes home "stinky" even after a few days of boarding and all-day play. Also appreciate the ability to check on my doggy via the live feed cameras. Staff: so far everyone I've interacted with has been very nice. I was a helicopter mom the first time I boarded my baby with them and, in addition to stalking the live camera feed (I have no shame), Devin was patient with me when I called and gave me a play by play on how my dog was doing. Later that afternoon I saw a much larger white dog humping him while trainer was nearby, and she absolutely did not do anything.. I called right away and told them to get the dog off of my dog. Unfortunately, I was at the doctor office and I couldn't go pick him up right away. An hour later I watched from the web camera, and I saw same dog is pushing my dog in the corner and humping him and three other dogs are watching and the trainer is there and doing absolutely nothing. Immediately I went and pulled my dog out of the place and when I complained, they said that's how they play.... "WHEN A DOG IS SHY, THATS HOW THEY BOOST HIS CONFIDENCE!!" Also, they charged me that same morning $90 which is supposed to be for full month, three times a week, and they did not refund me. Please be careful with your dog specially small breed. When one our dogs had cancer and was on chemo she had to be separated from other dogs but the staff made sure she had extra cuddles and walks not to mention giving her the meds. Doggie day care is second to none! Lots of room to run and play outside with plenty of supervision. This is the only place I will take my dogs and cat.

She is always excited when I drop her off and always seems to have had a great time when I pick her up. The groomer did a great job too giving her a haircut and bath. One of the things I really appreciate is that they send several pictures throughout the day, and in each of them she always looks like she's having a blast. I love that she is outside most of the day, being able to run around in the grass. Not sure in an indoor pen or on turf. The staff are all super friendly and you can tell they all really love the animals in their care. Would highly recommend!

Work was picking up and family appointments got us rather busy and it wasn't acceptable to leave our pup at home alone and bored. We knew that without proper mental stimulation and play that he would grow bored and start learning new, destructive "games" and behavior to entertain himself. We have used CLR many times of the years for our other pets (now deceased or living with a daughter) and we were always satisfied but hadn't ever utilized a doggie day care. So we started taking Angus to Doggie Day care for 2 days a week and a sleep over and he comes home SO BALANCED. I actually had to look at his adoption paperwork again because I could have sworn that he was coming up on a year. He was 8 months old and started acting like a 3 yr old dog! AWESOME!!! He is still very much a puppy, but because he is interacting with his older Lab buddies there he is like the little kid who got to hang out with the grownups! They have rubbed off on him socially and he cannot wait to load up in the car/truck cab to go to CLR!! When he sees me packing his overnight bag the night before, he starts getting excited. He KNOWS exactly where he is going he ADORES CLR and the staff there. This has completely been the best decision I have made for him and I am able to use this time as a mommy's day out and get things done for work all while he is being entertained and having a great time. When we pick him up at the end of the 2-day stay, he is so worn out from healthy play that he has a calmness in his demeanor and he will sleep most of the next day. Mentally, there is nothing I could have done better for our sweet baby boy and he shows us all of the time -- just the sweetest boy. I cannot recommend Circle Lake Ranch enough -- especially for all of these larger pups living in suburbia. They get supervised play in a SAFE environment where you know ALL pets are vetted and healthy. You cannot get that in a doggie park, folks. And you don't know if those at the dog park allow negative behavior at home or don't properly vet their pets. HUGE bonus here. THANK YOU to the STAFF at CLR!

Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. I will definitely use Hicks Farm again and I highly recommend them!

Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

I had no idea where to go since I'm not from here but I found Fuzzy Tails on Yelp. I reached out via Yelp and Andrea quickly gave a response telling me to text them at their number. I did and I was able to book an appointment for a week later via text. They did ask me to provide vaccination proof as well as a $35 deposit, all of which weren't unexpected. Upon arrival, everyone was friendly. They took my pup in without a hassle. They were very quick, about 90 minutes. I've actually never been to a groomer that got my pup done in under 2 hours so I was a bit concerned that it may not be well detailed. However once I picked him up, I was super happy with everything. He looked super cute and Fuzzy Tails gave exactly what I asked for! Overall, I 110% recommended this place for dog grooming. Again since I'm out of town, I likely won't be coming back anytime soon. But if I did live in Houston, I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else!!!
