I walked into this place not knowing what to expect. I went in at 5 pm, there were 3 other tables with people. Service was slow for how empty the place was. Then I realized there was only one waiter. They start you off with a small tostados topped with beans and fresh cheese. It was very good. I started with the Michelada Shinaloa, it did not disappoint. It had all the right notes of a Michelada, a hand crafted salty beer concoction. The shrimp skewers on top just elevated it. I would return for this drink alone. I ordered the Taco Governador , it had hand made tortillas crispy cheese edges and filled with a shrimp cheese, bell pepper scramble. I would have preferred more shrimp than bell peppers though. And i did need to add a bit of salt for my taste. But for 7 dollars not bad. I also ordered the Tostada de ceviche. I was fresh and delightful. Great depth in flavor. On the down side the tostada got soggy and broke after the first bite. There were very little visible pieces of shrimp in this shrimp ceviche. It was good but not worth the price tag. I will return to try more items on their menu and update my review. I should add the music is loud and hard to have a conversation, more of a late night dinner atmosphere. read more

Tiny little hole in the wall treasure of a place! Food was FANTASTICALLY surprising. My boyfriend and I were up visiting Wenatchee and were looking for a place to grab a bite. As cooking is a passion of mine, I'm usually very particular about the food I order. If I'm going to go out, I want it to be for something I can't make better at home...and this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Every dish had a unique twist that I wasn't expecting. We both agreed, though, that the Mexican Asian fusion sushi rolls were the shining glory of the dinner. The folks running the place were also extremely friendly and seemed very proud to serve what they did, and rightfully so! Some of the best sea food I have tried by far here in Washington state. Great taste, fantastic customer service from our waiter. The sushi had a good taste and the tacos gobernador very big and good in flavor. It didn't take to long for our food to come out, and that's something we like, specially when hen you are hungry. Hoy su hija iva saliendo cuando yo iva entrando y saludando a mis amistades. Hasta su pareja de ella me saludo con un simple "hola" de salida. No pensé nada más pero ándale que me pasa esto. Overpriced, badly staffed (knowledge/amount of personnel), and more than horrible wait time. Went in with a group of ten people or so. After waiting for about 40 minutes, we finally got to order. We inquired about the type of liquor they had and the server knew nothing about it. He went to the bar to ask questions which resulted in even longer wait times. He told us the only type of tequila they had was "buchanans", patron, and Don Julio and that they didn't carry any flavored vodka- they only had a cheap house style vodka without a brand. We got a couple of patron margaritas, patron shots, a redbull vodka, micheladas, and a remy with juice. We tried to get more micheladas but the server forgot to ask for them and we only got a refill right before leaving. He didn't charge us for that michelada but no one was able to drink it since we were about to walk out (or so we thought). I, for the first time in my life, sent back my patron margarita since it did not taste like patron at allllll. They told me the measurement was correct and they couldn't add any more patron. I sent it back a second time telling them I didn't mind paying for an extra shot and they returned it with the same flavor. Later I found out that the drink I got was not even a margarita but rather something with Guanavana liquor. Knowing and understanding that the server was very new, I apologized to the server that explained that my drink didn't have the tequila I asked for. We tried to get our tab at around 12:15am in hopes that we'd still have time to go out to another place. We got it after 1:20am!! We had asked for separate tabs even before ordering and my tab was the only one correct. I payed in cash and left to greet more friends while the rest of the group payed. I later found out they didn't separated the bills right, there were duplicate items, and were charging way too high prices for the drinks. There's no drink menu so you don't really know what you're asking for. The redbull vodka was $19!!! My friend went to talk to the owner and got a discount on that drink. It was almost 2am when we left. Yesterday, after a week of the incident, some of the people that payed with card got a second charge for $22. They called the place and posted on their social media their surprise. Instead of getting a call, there was a Facebook live made where the owner explains how "things like this happen because of the bank but you can call the bank itself and it gets fixed". The video say how that table expected to be treated like "divos and divas" and were cheap- thus the reason for my first review on a restaurant like this. The experience the day of the visit was bad, but the video made it worse. Although I don't like overpaying for bad service, I wouldn't consider myself cheap. read more

Really really delicious ceviche tower- also very large! I know it looks small in photos but once I knocked it down it was a solid bowl full of fish. The two of us could have easily split this one meal between the two of us. Highly recommend the agua frescas- the horchata had Mexican cinnamon with that great spice. I'd never had strawberry agua Fresca before but it was delicious. read more

The waitress was rude and unprofessional. We ordered appetizers and they were brought out 5 minutes before our entrees. The food was not good at all and they give 2 tortillas per entree which is unheard of. I was served store bought tortillas instead of hand made tortillas like they advertised and they had the nerve to charge us for hand made tortillas. My husband clearly ordered a negra modelo and the waitress brought an especial modelo. She looked at her notes and she said he said especial modelo but everyone heard him say negra modelo. Waitress never brought the negra modelo over to us nor apologized for the mix up. I can't believe that we paid for that mediocre food and service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. read more

Food took a while to get to the table. When we finally got most of our food my wife's meal was brought out 20 minutes after everyone else's food. Even people that came in and ordered after us got their food before my wife did. The waiter came and asked us how everything was, I told them it would be fine if my wife had her food. It was like they just forgot to prepare her meal. It was very upsetting. There were less than 10 people in the restaurant total. And with the COVID laws in effect they even sat a couple right next to us. I don't think it was even 5 ft away. There were at least ten tables in the section we were sitting in and that's only one side of the seating area basically whole restaurant was empty. They could've sat them down 15 ft away but they didn't. That was upsetting. The food was decent but not worth the money. It is by far the most expensive Mexican restaurant I have been to in the Wenatchee/East Wenatchee area. Even the kids meals were expensive and didn't even include a drink. For the prices they charge you would expect the best but in my opinion it is mediocre if that. This was the first time I've been to a restaurant in four months. I was very disappointed overall. I hate to leave such a bad review but honestly this was one of the worst eating experiences I've had in East Wenatchee. There are so many other good restaurants in the area I would steer clear of this one. read more

It's really nice to have a dedicated seafood place in Wenatchee again. The tacos have been uniformly great so far, and that's mostly what we've had. My friend had oysters and said they were mostly dry. Other than that, the ingredients are fresh and well prepared. This place is fantastic. In town for only one night and will definitely make a point to come back to go here. Not only was the food delicious, but the owner/chef was very friendly and welcoming (even graciously allowed me to practice my Spanish with him). The seafood tower was very fresh with a light and flavorful sauce. The torta was probably the best I've had (and I've had a lot!). Perfectly seasoned meat, fresh condiments and bread that was just right, not too heavy but not so thin that it couldn't hold up the sandwich. To top it all off, the horchata was great! read more
