They had two technicians working on her at the same time and the entire service was finished in about 20 minutes. It felt extremely rushed, and there was very little attention to detail. A manicure and pedicure should be a relaxing experience, especially when someone is preparing for a special trip. What's most frustrating is that her nail polish is already chipping, and she's only on the second day of her cruise. She was really looking forward to having her nails look nice for the trip, and now they're already ruined. Coming back to edit this review after the business owner replied, which I'm shocked she did considering she's the one who was on the phone with me claiming I can't come back in. It does not accurately reflect what happened. The repeated issues with my nails were not a matter of me wanting free services -- they were the direct result of substandard work that failed to hold up as a proper gel manicure should. A quality gel manicure should last 2-3 weeks without chipping. The fact that repairs were needed multiple times speaks to the quality of the application, not to any unreasonable demands on my part. I also want to address your claim that I have repeatedly asked for refunds in the past and that you have granted them -- that is simply not true. That is a false statement made publicly to discredit me, and it is unacceptable. What is also unacceptable is that you never gave me the opportunity to explain my side of the situation. That is not how you treat a customer. Period. I am not alone in this experience either. Several other women have come forward to share that they were treated the same way. On top of that, I have become aware of a health violation at this salon that was reported and not properly addressed -- something every potential customer deserves to know about.
