I ordered a Pilsner and half an order of Fish N Chips with a special request of the chips being well done. I was surprised how good the chips was. Perfectly season with a nice crunch, and the fish was good as well. The beer on the other hand didn't taste good. I probably just got a beer I'm not interested in. I typically like pilsners and was surprised how light this beer tasted. Overall service was good and food. I would recommend coming here if you want an authentic English experience.

I don't come often enough to even know what's regular anymore. I don't eat meat, but I did have my Guinness so no harm done. I really like the choices of seating, between tables and chairs, the bar, booths, stools, benches, and outdoors. It can get pretty busy, but never so much that I've ever felt boxed in. There's a bit of a bottleneck to get a drink as the path to get past the bar is narrow, but staff are really great at working through those requests quickly. So, basically this is my go to if someone suggests a pub atmosphere. Every day. Ok not every day, but I had to throw that in ;-) They don't have a full bar, only wine and beer. My girl ordered the pork sliders along with a margarita, while I switched to a lemonade after my shot. The barbacoa quesadilla was excellent. The meat and cheese ratio was perfect, and everything tasted fresh. The pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream all complemented the quesadilla really well. I honestly had no complaints about my meal. The only hiccup during our visit was with my girl's pork sliders. The pork arrived cold, so we let the bartender know. At first, she thought the meat might have felt cold because of the coleslaw on the sliders, but after a brief conversation, she happily took them back and had a fresh order made. The replacement sliders came out with warm pork, and they were much better. Even the first batch tasted good, the only issue was that the meat wasn't warm enough. We appreciated that they made it right without any problems. One thing I thought was really interesting was their drink system. Every cocktail on the menu is served from a numbered tap. I've never seen that before, but I'm guessing it helps with portion control, reduces waste, and ensures every drink is made consistently. I thought it was a unique concept and a nice touch. One thing I also appreciated was the service. When it was time to pay for our meal, the bartender asked if I wanted a refill on my lemonade. I told her we were about to head to the movie theater, so I didn't need one. Then he offered to put my lemonade in a to-go cup so I could take it with me. I thought that was a really thoughtful gesture and a nice example of great customer service. Overall, we had a good experience.
