My wife and I have shopped at Lowe's for over 20 years and today we experienced the worst customer service ever from any store. We picked out our lumber and went to the self check out to pay... one of the pieces of wood did not have a scan label and when we told Craig or Greg that it was missing he said to go back to lumber to get the code... then turned his back and walked away.. seriously??? Oh hell no!!! Over the 20+ years we have spent over $100k+ at Lowe's on remodeling several homes... and this clown seems to think customers don't matter... I took my business to Home Depot and will as long as i live here in this area... unbeilable crap attitude... for the record I'm not fond of Home Depot either, but I won't go back to Lowe's... read more

I was in the self checkout lane and saw a register open with its light on so I walked up to it and attempted to scan my item. Then I heard a man yelling "no! Noooooo! No! Noooo! Mam, nooo!!! " I looked over and saw the man was talking to me. Then he says no again and explains the register has an error. Wanted to get a miter saw and stand for my husband as a Christmas present. Ed who helped me was both knowledgeable and kind. He helped me look up the answer to my question online, and tried to explain it to me in terms I could understand. When I pointed out that I would like to get a specific type of miter saw stand that was not on display, he checked and found 2 units on the top shelf of an aisle. He then proceeded to bring down both units so other people could find it too. When I said I wasn't sure if my car was big enough, he helped me lower the seat and put the boxes in. All in all, he made it such a pleasant shopping experience that I don't think I would go anywhere else for hardware again! Thank you, Ed! You're a shining example of a Lowe's employee! We ordered a front and 2 utility doors. The wait was over 4 months, and working with the in-home consultant seemed scattered, resulting in a mistake on the P.O. which I did not catch until the doors arrived on installation day. However, the installer, Marcus Franks, of Cadco Door and Window was prompt, efficient, friendly and courteous. His finish work was excellent, and he left the workspace neat and clean. We give Marcus 5 stars. read more

I placed an order online, and even after 8 hours it will still not ready. When I went to Dublin store, they said it has not been picked up. Store stock showed 0 in stock. On the shelve there were more than 10 latches available. After I the picked the items, there was no one available to complete my online order. After wasting 20 minutes, and even manager refusing to help, bought the item thru self check out. Pathetic customer care. Lowe's customer service has gotten worse, while Home Depot has gone way up. read more

Lowe's in Dublin used Keller Interiors to install carpet in an upstairs bedroom that clearly didn't match. I was downstairs. The installer told me after "yes, I noticed it didn't match" but didn't think to call me upstairs to look at it and just installed it anyway. This is after he called me upstairs to look at the padding, the wood floor, and the cables, so it's not like he didn't ask me to look at everything else. Yes, my fault for ordering what appears to be the wrong color. I offered to pay a restocking fee for my error but they said no they will not discount or allow me that - I would have to pay for the entire service all over again. $1k for one bedroom. After a long three day weekend at my Lakehouse I returned home unable to find my keys. I retraced all of my steps. Checked my surveillance cameras around and inside my home and still had no luck. The only place I could imagine I had left them was at the Lowe's in Dublin. After two days without my keys and nearly having to pay $900 to get two new fobs made and my shop/office re-keyed by a locksmith I began calling Lowe's day before yesterday. After three phone calls with Lowe's employees I was unable to locate my foot keys. Today I called and asked to speak with a manager and got Johnny on the phone. Tony told me that they did not have any keys turned in and he was positive of this. I gave him a description of my keys and then he asked me what areas I had been in in the store. I let him know the three areas I had been in and then I went to self check out. Johnny was able to let me no that two of the three areas I had been in he had recently had his coworkers detail and clean. He had also walked two of these three areas and was confident that my keys were not there. Johnny took down my phone number and said that he would check the other location I had been in which was Tile and give me a call back either way. Within three minutes of getting off the phone with Johnny I received a phone call back from him. Again, Johnny asked for a description of my keys. Johnny was able to confirm that he had found my keys by my description. They were in the Tile department. What a tired airhead I feel like. The only issue right now feast was that I live an hour and a half to two hours away with traffic. Johnny asked where I lived and he happen to live about 30 minutes past me but the route he took went through my town. He didn't head home until the weekend and stayed in the Dublin area during the week however Johnny stated he could only imagine not having his keys and that he was willing because I was a customer to drive home two days early and commute back tomorrow morning. I was shocked. Godsend. This man has saved me $1000 and was able to locate my keys that none of the other employees could within a five minute conversation and three minutes on his floor. I am a business owner who has 15 employees. Lowes needs to promote this man immediately before competition steals them away. Owning my own business for 15 years I know how difficult it is to have and find honest and hard-working employees. Especially those that are capable of managing an entire store or district like Johnny showed he could. I honestly should offer this man a job and me. Horrible customer service including management. I had been here few years ago and had bad experience and thought may be things have changed. I was there last night and there was item listed on sale on the shelf but didn't ring up correctly. Manager named Roko showed up and was very rude and said the whole department is mess and vendors placed the wrong item on sale. He told me that they will change the label now on the shelf and won't admit stores mistake. Basically he told me to ****up and left. I would not go back to that store again. read more

DO NOT EVER BUY PAINT HERE! They will NOT accept paint exchanges/returns for any reason, even though it's in their corporate policy and clearly on their return policy Would give 0-stars if I could. I purchased a quart of it, and barely used it. It was easily 98% full. Nate, the assistant store manager, is extremely rude and refused to take the paint back, even after I attempted to explain his own corporate policy to him, and pointing out the paint return policy to him that was on the sign behind him. They do not care about customers there I would highly recommend going to the Livermore Lowe's if you can. They are much nicer there :) read more

The delivery person was in such a haste that he damaged my front door while delivering. i called customer service at this store to report this. They asked me to call warranty and completely ignored my request. why would i call a warranty for newly purchased product which came in damaged in first place? after a few hours,i again called the customer service to see what can be done, this time the customer care said they'll order a replacement. next day i got an automated voice message about my replacement delivery On the scheduled delivery date no one showed up for the whole day. note that i took off from office in order to recieve the delivery. since no one showed i called them again and this time i was told they cannot make the delivery becuase the replacement is not paid for.I told them that this is a replacement for the damaged, still the delivery department did not even try to listen and rudely declined.I called customer service again and they connnected me to appliance department. The appliance department just kept me on hold for several hours. I could make clearly that they picked up the phone but kept it aside.fustrated, i walk to store to ask about this, this time they told they have to haul away the old one first before the deliveyr of new one, i had nothing but to agree to this, so they scheduled the haul back of old one. a few days later i walked back to the store to check what is the status of replacement. This time again they denied saying "new cannot be delivered as it is not paid for " so i was made to pay for the new refrigerator and old one was refunded.while in transaction, i told the customer service how frustrating this experiance was and instead of listening she rudely showed me off to a differnt desk.i asked them to that i would like to speak to the store manager to convey my gievance, and this is where i get shocker. they made someone stand in front of me telling that she is a store manager. the fake store manager, pretented to listen for a minute but later yelled loud at me denying that the store ever made a call to me about the deliverly. I showed her the mobile message history and call transcription to which she said "this is not store this is lowes automated message" she also made a false promise that since the store had caused me so much inconvinience they would give me a discount upon new delivery.later this discount was conviniently denied by the appliance dept.long story short. the customer care at this store is naive, incompetent, do not know their own policies and procedures, they are most ill trained bunch of folks, the appliance department is also equally horrible, you'd never find anyone in the appliance department to talk to or help you with your questions. the customer care spoke very rudely and eveyone in the customer care provided with different answer during our multiple visits.BEWARE of shopping big items here. Back in December I purchased a dishwasher for my 90 grandmother. The dishwasher was meant to be a Christmas gift but once Lowes had my money, they never called to let me know the dishwasher was in. It took me to call them after 2 1/2 weeks for the gentleman to say oh sorry we've just been really busy, but will get that set up for you. When they did get it set up, it took them almost 2 weeks to get the dishwasher delivered... And when it was delivered, it was defective and had to be returned. Instead of doing an even exchange for a new dishwasher after they sent me a defective product they wanted to re-charge me another $900 For a new dishwasher and then once the other one was returned credit me back. I said I didn't feel comfortable with that since the issue was on their end and asked that they please pick up the dishwasher. At that point they canceled the pick up and never got back to me. It took me calling again for close to three weeks to finally get the dishwasher, picked up and returned to the store. The dishwasher has been returned for almost 2 weeks with still no refund. I now have to dispute the charge with my credit card company and go through that entire process. Every time I've tried to call Lowes to discuss the issue they don't answer the phone, hang up on me, or say no one can help me. I went to Home Depot who literally got it handled within a week! For anyone looking to go to Lowe's I would steer clear. They have horrible customer service... They'll take your money without ever giving you a product. They never follow up... and even knowing that this dishwasher was for a 90 year could care less which in my opinion is close to elder abuse. Horrible business read more

Good selection, but Lowe's consistently over charges for items that are on sale. They are really quick to advertise sales prices, but 2 of the last 3 times I shopped there, they didn't input the sales prices into the system. Breath of fresh air from Home Depot. Wider aisles and friendlier associates. Nicer parking lot environment with no lurkers on the fringe. But checkout was a nightmare in this time of COVID-19. Store is set up so the employee break room, restrooms and checkout kiosk we were funneled to all converge in one location. Along with the bunched-together self checkout kiosks. With all this human cross traffic, maintaining 6 feet of distance is impossible. And then one item wouldn't scan. Manager came over with mask below her nose. I won't carry on any further but we were stuck in this cross traffic for 10 minutes with a manager only half-masked. read more

High: Found the perfect Christmas tree after hitting up Walmart and Target and leaving disappointed. Low: Absolutely no one to help locate the tree in the boxes or to help get it to the front to check out. It was a total self service experience. I spent a good 20 mins hunting to find the tree I had seen in the Lowes ad. After locating it and unable to locate any staff to help I gave up and positioned the cart, said a little prayer and tipped the box stacked well above my head hoping it would land into the cart. It did....yeaaahhh!!!! Once I paid at the self service check out, I navigated the cart with this massive box on top to my car and figured out how to lift the very heavy box out of the cart and into the backseat of the car. Is this store staffed with any actual people? The tree and I made it safely home. read more

I haven't done any home improvement projects through them yet, but their kitchen designs look nice, so I tempted to maybe have something done by them soon. Was looking into a tub to help out with my therapy and she pointed me to the primo Tub. Looks to be a great addition to my home and for my well being too. What I enjoyed was I never felt rushed or stressed out with Aida she's a real pro and doesn't mind stoping what she's doing to get you the info you need and help if she can't do it. This place is a joke. I was in there for 45min to pick up a storage cabinet and asked for help. 5 different people. No one took the initiative to help. All they were doing was paging people. I finally had to get upset for someone to help. No wonder Home Depot is always busy. This place is ran really unorganized. She said no " you gotta go down to register 9". I found that weird cause she wasn't doing anything. So I go to register 9, I take out my military ID and I asked the cashier if they do military discount? She said no, you gotta go online and register 1st and then u get a discount. That's BS. I called and asked to speak to a manager regarding the store policy on identification needed when cashing a check. I was forwarded to an Andrea, who was very rude and told me that she couldn't give me any information! She told me to come in with the police report! She had a lot of stuff to buy and her he patiently spent the time to find everything she was looking for. He helped her gather 4 big carts worth of items. Not only that, she realized there was a discount after she had already checked out most items, and he PATIENTLY helped to re-check out those items with the discount. Went to the Dublin Lowes store to buy N95 masks after seeing online that they have them in stock in Qty 10 boxes. The store only had the qty 15 packs at $10 more. Tried at find out if theres an error on their website or its me who couldnt find the item and it took 3 associates to finally tell me they dont have the qty 10 packs in stock. Im writing this because the first associate helped another customer in the midst of helping me already and didn't tell me to hold or anything and she did that to me twice. I looked for another associate and she told me to ask someone else "over there" when i was told my another associate to talk to her. This is the 2nd instance that i recall Lowes.com inventory does not match real inventory on hand at the store plus being treated like crap by their associates so decided to write about it. read more
