Went here the other day to get some things for a few projects and honestly I never really get noteworthy customer service, however, Skylar in the paint dept goes ABOVE & BEYOND. He was extremely knowledgeable, caring, and beyond helpful. We were able to get all the things we needed in less than an hour with his help and input. I've enjoyed shopping at this Lowe's location. The staff in the garden center are very friendly and helpful. I love that they have been having sales on different flowers and plants for the last month or so. I do wish that the nursery section had more options of perennials though. Associates were also very helpful to us earlier this year when we needed to build a Corsi-Rosenthol box due to the smoke from fires. We appreciated their insight and help with finding what we needed. Downloading the Lowe's app makes finding stuff in the store super easy, too. read more

I ordered a new entrance door and storm door. I was charged on Lowes credit card and got two statements to make a payment. It has been four weeks since i ordered the doors , I kept asking when doors would be in. I could not get an answer and I refused to make a payment until I get an answer. I finally went to store to complain and they said the order was in the store. It took about an hour and finally said the storm door was in, but the entrance door had not been ordered. I do not want my credit ranking to be ruined by this, but I am not paying for something that I did not get. I talked to a lady that said her rating after not paying has dropped to the point that she can not get a credit card now at another facility. read more

We came looking for wood chips or mulch, stepping stones and pebbles/rocks for our yard. We met a very helpful employee by the name of Randy. He answered a lot of our questions. We'll probably get the mulch instead and use weed protective spray per his advice. Plus, he answered our questions about stepping stones and pebbles as well. We were fortunate enough to find 2 bags that were opened. He told us that they would only cost us $1 per bag. What a delight! We'll probably be back to get the stepping stones here, but we need to measure the area of the yard for it first. Excellent customer service! We will be back! read more

Went to this Lowe's because I needed some plumbing supplies and they were nearby. What a mistake that was! I asked three separate people for help, I was told that a specialist would come to the plumbing section and assist me. I waited respectful and I mean respectful amount of time and nobody showed up so I decided to just take my business to Home Depot. I went to the register to pay for a couple of items I needed that I knew I couldn't get at Home Depot and let the older gentleman know that I was having to take my business elsewhere because nobody wanted to assist me at which point he apologized and walked away, so apparently absolutely nobody that works there wants to help anybody. We were going to buy a new door handle and they offer the service of rekeying but they had no one there not even the manager who knew how to rekey the lock. This was on a Saturday morning. December I spoke with a manger named Daniel about a family in need of a Christmas tree. Nicest guy in the world. Told me to go to the lot and pick any tree 6-7 feet. He even through in a tree stand for the family. Exceptionally nice and kind man. read more

The worst customer service ever. I had a refrigerator delivered. Besides denting it, they refused to change hinges to other side, said I had to call service and that it was $130. After 2 hours and five phone calls, this service is included and scheduled the service. The same two show up and haven't a clue. They claim they need a hinge for the other side and tell me to order it from whirlpool. Lying again, the hinge works for both sides. Schedule another service call. I get a text they are on the way, another that they are here. No one is here. I finally get a number for the dispatch and boss says they reported they did the job!!! Shamelessly lying!! Now I am spending yet another Saturday waiting. I get call the truck broke after I have been waiting 4 hours they want me to wait 3 more hours. I bet it's the liars. Ridiculous!!!! This is the by far the best Lowes location I've ever been to. It's humongous!!! Plenty of parking and disabled slots. The employees are very friendly, efficient and helpful. Jocelyn greeted us in a very friendly way and Samuel helped my hubby with the self checkout machine. We were able to find what we were looking for very quickly. Not bad for a home improvement store, not my favorite place to shop but sometimes it's necessary. For me, if people are nice and welcoming, makes all the difference. Also, you do expect people to know what they sell and be able to answer questions should one arise. I encountered such an instance and the gentlemen whom I asked for help tried looking up my request and said he couldn't find what I was looking for and that the person who worked in that department was on lunch so essentially there was no one who could help. Rarely is there anybody in the tool section to help you. Nor in any department for that matter. It's nice and neat and cute, but nobody there to help. I think I've been to that tool department at least five times thinking it might be less crowded and faster than Home Depot, but you have to wander the whole store to get some help. They make it hard for you to spend your money there. There's one person that works in the tool section weekdays. but the two times last year I tried to get help from him he acted like he was doing the world a favor. This has happened at least twice. Yet he's constantly busy stocking and making his area look like Trump Towers. In fact, getting service anywhere in the store is a battle. They seem to avoid you and prefer to just keep stocking. There was one excellent man in the electrical section couple months ago. I thanked him profusely for his wonderful help. Most of the young employees In this store are not trained in anything technical, nor in any form of customer service. Today I was going to buy an evaporative cooler and the guy sent me to aisle 22 which was on the west side of the store with no ac coolers there. I tracked down somebody else finally and they said, no, ac is on the other side of the store by garden. Then I looked at the units that they had in they were scant. I was looking for a small evaporative window cooler. They had the large ones with no sizes printed on the boxes. So rather than sit around and wait a half an hour to get somebody to help me that doesn't know what they're doing, I went to Home Depot. I predict the store will be bankrupt or closed within a year. I went to Home Depot as usual where I can get somebody to help me that is a bit more knowledgeable. As a contractor I buy tons of stuff. All of it is from Home Depot. I always seem to end up there. I will never step foot in this particular store ever again, after specifically shopping at this one for many years. Last night, December 9, 2025, we called the store due to an issue with our order. The guys in kitchen appliances ordered the wrong oven on Black Friday. Which is no problem, accidents happen. The gal at the customer service counter transfered us to a manager. The manager answered the phone, right away he was rude. My husband was explaining what happened, my husband felt we had a "bait and switch" situation. The manager cut him off, talked over him, and got very defensive. He told us the only way to fix this situation was for us to return the oven we received (them picking it up), then them processing the return, then we could purchase the oven we wanted. When my husband tried to deescalate the situation and tried to talk, the manager kept repeating the return process, there were no other options. When we asked his name, he said he was not legally obligated to give us his name. Then he hung up on my husband!!!! I called the store back, I wanted to get the manager's name. The gal working the customer service desk said the same thing, that she was not legally obligated to give out his name. She said she could help be but was very curt. She said she can only help schedule a pick up of the wrong oven. So I went with that. My husband and I have never been treated so poorly. This store is horrible with customer service. I called corporate this morning and got glowing customer service and also reported this terrible behavior. read more

They sent out person to measure, and 6 to 8 weeks eight later sent the doors to be installed. A week later, two installers came and said they were the wrong size. Consequently, the doors were taken back to the store. eventually, the doors were decided to be the right doors and a solo rookie installer brought them back to be installed. When he left the install looked OK, however, they were not installed correctly. My husband is 6 foot 4, 250 pounds, and with full force was barely able to lock the door because it would not properly align. He assessed using full force would break the mechanism. After contacting Lowe's more than once, 2 installers, came out and said that was properly installed, but forced them locked, and said "oh, that's just how the doors lock". A Millgard rep came out and replaced a few mechanical parts, but it still does not lock properly. It is not acceptable. After contacting Lowe's repeatedly, Lowes said that they would contact us and make the situation acceptable, and it's been months since we've heard from them. I'm extremely unhappy with their service and the doors that they installed. Lowe's is always polite on the phone, and promise to help, but we have defective doors and pay a lot for 6+ months of bad workmanship , I have taken all hombusiness elsewhere. read more

She scanned the barcode, checked on her device & she claimed one had been delivered that day, is on the dock & will be on the floor the next day. She suggested that we purchase it today and pick it up in the morning. So that's what we did. The next day, we called to see when we should come pick it up. We were on the phone for 40 minutes trying to explain to the employees why we purchased it, who we talked to, and then being put on hold again and again. Finally the employee goes "yes, you're right. But our team made a mistake and someone had purchased it before you and our team should have looked at that" .... The cheery voice & apologies do not help when they have wasted so much of our time. I made an online order for delivery in a week's time. The order stated delivery free. Lowes stated shipping on the day I made the order, not a week later. They are charging me over $79 for shipping. They say because it is not shipping but delivery. The order and receipt did not state this. I consider this to be thievery. The customer representatives were no help. Lowes need to improve their app to make it clear what shipping cost ( by whatever name they wish to call them) will be charged. I ordered a refrigerator that was supposed to be here Thursday & the delivery man informed me that it came , so they gave me a number to call and they can't get a new refrigerator out to me till Saturday so they are leaving me three days with no refrigerator, no help in expediting the delivery, the number the delivery man gave me in the people that I spoke to were extremely rude & I got a text from Lowe's for their customer service and when I talked to them, they were also very rude and condescending, the delivery guys were kind and wonderful and when I called Lowe's, it went to appliances. The guy there was also very kind., everybody else brushed me off and treated me like but just kept repeating the same and my groceries are out on my porch and they can't even make the delivery a priority delivery for Saturday so it would maybe become earlier in the day because she gave me a window between 8 AM and 8 PM and couldn't help me so please buyer beware when ordering from Lowe's was a terrible experience and I will not be doing that again, but please remember the delivery man we're extremely kind and the guy in the phone who is working in appliance appliances was also very kind- the number I got off the delivery man those women were extremely unhelpful, condescending and rude I do know their names were to Tashanda & Monique, the number of Lowe's texted it to me. To make a long story short, I tried to get a prehung door installed with nothing but trouble. I started in April and ended up getting a door and installation from another company in July. The biggest problem was Vista, Lowes installation company. We got the runaround trying to schedule a installation appointment without success. Don't bother to do business with Lowes as long as they use Vista. read more

Do not purchase any big ticket items for delivery and installation. I purchased BBQ island and recently a trash compactor. Both items were not installed as promised by Lowes. In fact the trash compactor was supposed to be installed and the old one taken away. The delivery personnel stated that they would not install or remove the old item. Bad Carpet experience: We only had a switch back open stairway to carpet and was surprised at how much was quoted. After delivery it was apparent that it was over-bid. There was over 129 square feet of carpet left over or enough for a 10'x12'sf room plus a closet. We asked several times of the installer why there was a large roll of backing pad left over and after a while he shrugged, that it was for the next job. It wasn't very convincing. After talking with the Lowes inspector, Mike, we were told that it was because the carpet needed to match up the stairs flow of carpet. This didn't make sense as the stairs double back and not one big climb and are only 3' wide. We were told both on the phone from Lowes and from Mike that someone would contact us to discuss, which didn't happen. Every email and text with Keller Interiors had the stock reply that someone would contact us, but nothing. The installer, Keller Interiors, had no respect for being clean or careful. He dropping tools on the recently installed hardwood floors & tile scratching them. He didn't even bring a shop vac to clean up the considerable dirt from the old carpet, only quickly sweeping up the worst of it, spreading dirt all over. He left the garage in a mess of carpet remnants that Mike had to tell him to clean up as he got ready to leave. read more

I bought the wrong lawn seed and needed to exchange it. .... customer service person needs a break, no smile, no thank you...... I have been shopping at the Redlands Lowe's for more than 20 years. My late husband and I purchased all of our remodeling supplies for two homes and loved Lowe's because the salespeople were so helpful and knowledgeable (Home Depot seemed to cater to contractors and weren't very helpful to DIYers). We knew many of the Lowe's sales associates by name. We had a military discount, which helped a lot with the tremendous costs we were paying, even though Lowe's prices were sometimes higher than Home Depot. He died and I remarried someone who likes to DIY, as well. Somehow in the past couple of years someone at Redlands talked us into getting on the prop thing, after which they told me I wouldn't have a military discount while on the pro program. Because we didn't buy much after that the pro thing didn't work for me so I went to the store to cancel it. Customer service said the person who could help me was at lunch and she didn't know when they would be back. So I went back another day and was told that I had to call corporate, instead of being helped in the store. When I did call corporate I found out I had had a military discount through more than $500 in purchases (because Home Depot stepped its customer service program and I easily got a military discount there we had been shopping there, instead). I stopped at customer service and showed a supervisor all of my purchases. He said he would credit me with $47, which was less than 10% of what we had purchased, but whatever. We loaded up our cart and then went to customer service to check out so we would get the $47 credit. We were told we had to wait for a manager. We waited a long time and then the same supervisor said that he would give us "$47 off a $500(!) purchase" because it had been more than 30 days since we bought the other things. In other words, they screwed up and refused to make good on it. These "customer service" people don't know what they are talking about in regard to the military discount or the pro program. Home Depot is much better organized. read more

Do not buy from this company. I ordered a refrigerator and it worked for not even 24 hours. Since apparently my return window ended on Sunday night, first thing Monday morning they refuse to exchange it. The customer service team is rude to say the very least and hung up on me repeatedly when i was trying to understand how I was supposed to call them Sunday night when they were closed. I would give this place 0 stars but its not an option. I requested an in home consultation for window replacement. I received conflicting emails regarding the time of the appointment. When I attempted to call to find out what time it was actually scheduled for, no one had any clue. They gave me unhelpful information and seemed utterly incompetent. I went to the property based on my guess of when the appointment was scheduled, the person showed up late ( I had already left). There was no effort to contact me beforehand. A complete waste of time. I would never have this company or anyone affiliated with them work on my home if they cant simply uphold an appointment. Totally unprofessional. read more

Gave them the benefit of the doubt and reorder my dishwasher and then the second time was even worse!!! Still no dishwasher delivered and charged twice. I received a call from them 20 minutes before it was to be delivered (round 2) that it would not be delivered. I was asked if I wanted to speak to a Manager, I said yes and then got hung up on!!! Been trying to get a dishwasher since November. I will never buy anything from Lowe's again nor will any member of my very large family!!! read more
