We came looking for wood chips or mulch, stepping stones and pebbles/rocks for our yard. We met a very helpful employee by the name of Randy. He answered a lot of our questions. We'll probably get the mulch instead and use weed protective spray per his advice. Plus, he answered our questions about stepping stones and pebbles as well. We were fortunate enough to find 2 bags that were opened. He told us that they would only cost us $1 per bag. What a delight! We'll probably be back to get the stepping stones here, but we need to measure the area of the yard for it first. Excellent customer service! We will be back!

This is the by far the best Lowes location I've ever been to. It's humongous!!! Plenty of parking and disabled slots. The employees are very friendly, efficient and helpful. Jocelyn greeted us in a very friendly way and Samuel helped my hubby with the self checkout machine. We were able to find what we were looking for very quickly. The store is beautiful and very well arranged. The prices are awesome as well depending on what it is you're looking for.

Paint kiosk with a distinct lack of costumer service.

Trying to get a quart of paint. Been waiting for assistance at the kiosk for 10 minutes so I can have a 30 second interaction with a person. I keep tapping a button to tell the machine I'm "still here" as customer service people walk past me. Not impressed.

The "help"? Googling and browsing the internet.

Rarely is there anybody in the tool section to help you. Nor in any department for that matter. It's nice and neat and cute, but nobody there to help. I think I've been to that tool department at least five times thinking it might be less crowded and faster than Home Depot, but you have to wander the whole store to get some help. They make it hard for you to spend your money there. There's one person that works in the tool section weekdays. but the two times last year I tried to get help from him he acted like he was doing the world a favor. This has happened at least twice. Yet he's constantly busy stocking and making his area look like Trump Towers. In fact, getting service anywhere in the store is a battle. They seem to avoid you and prefer to just keep stocking. There was one excellent man in the electrical section couple months ago. I thanked him profusely for his wonderful help. Most of the young employees In this store are not trained in anything technical, nor in any form of customer service. Today I was going to buy an evaporative cooler and the guy sent me to aisle 22 which was on the west side of the store with no ac coolers there. I tracked down somebody else finally and they said, no, ac is on the other side of the store by garden. Then I looked at the units that they had in they were scant. I was looking for a small evaporative window cooler. They had the large ones with no sizes printed on the boxes. So rather than sit around and wait a half an hour to get somebody to help me that doesn't know what they're doing, I went to Home Depot. I predict the store will be bankrupt or closed within a year. I went to Home Depot as usual where I can get somebody to help me that is a bit more knowledgeable. As a contractor I buy tons of stuff. All of it is from Home Depot. I always seem to end up there. I have given Lowe's a fair shot multiple times, but no go.

A very nice store clerk steered me in the right direction. What a great selection I found. Not just the part I wanted, but so much more. I went back yesterday hoping to find a stem extension that I could not find anywhere on the internet. I approached a clerk and asked, and he took me right to it. I explained that the replacement kit I purchased on line did not fit quite the same as the one I am replacing. He told me of its compatibility with another more "readily available" line of faucets. He seemed to know a lot about plumbing. It turns out he is the owner. He and everyone I have dealt with there are very approachable, helpful, and knowledgeable. This is now my go to store for all my DIY projects. Their selection is remarkable and the staff just seem to enjoy their job. It is 20 miles from home, but it is exactly what needs to be. In a time of online ordering and tracking numbers, it is great to go to a place with fair prices, great selection, and impeccable service!!

Employees don't feel "corporately trained"... in a good way. Surprising how much they fit into a relatively small space! I took a lot of pics for reference or I'd be here all day describing the variety. Favorite unique offerings include: - Bins of loose nails and screws that are so visually satisfying to look at! - Ability to make new car keys. - Old timey lanterns with oil and everything next to jam jars and such for canning. - Local sketch art on the walls as decor. - A vintage (in a not-on-purpose way) 7Up vending machine.

After searching relentlessly online and in all the huge home improvement stores I decided to stop by Johnson's and just see what they had, they ended up having the hinges and everything I needed at a great price and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I had ordered so many hardware parts online that didn't fit and wasted so much time and money going all over the Inland Empire and even OC looking for these parts. I couldn't believe the little hardware store in my town ended up having them the whole time. I felt pretty stupid for not visiting here first but now I know to just skip all the run around and come here. Since then I've become a regular at this store. Most smaller mom & pop type stores have way higher prices than the big box stores but not here, the prices are good and I always find what I'm looking for. I totally wanted to give 5 stars but I had to take off one star for the parking situation, it's parallel street parking only. If it's a busy time of day then there is no parking close by and I have to either skip it and come back later or park way down or across the street. I've also gotten trapped in a space with idiots parking too close in front and behind me. Besides the parking deal everything else here is 5 stars. I'm a biggie on customer service and this place blows all others out of the water. They're great.
