I ordered an appliance from this store but need to talk to them about an issue regarding delivery. It is a total nightmare to get through on the phone. Wow..... I've called about 5 or 6 times now, and it's always a long long wait before anyone picks up. Last time, someone answered, but she's talking to someone in front of her, who's arguing about something he bought. No matter how many times you say hello, she can't be bothered to attend to the customer on the phone which she, for some unknown reason, answered, even though she wasn't ready to speak to the customer. Why on earth would you answer the phone if you're still talking to someone else? The other day i was put on hold forever. It was obvious nobody was going to pick up so i finally hung up and called back. Then the same thing happened when that employee transferred me to appliances. Triple Holds on Your Card and Zero Help Ordered six fence panels and one box of screws for pickup. The next morning my credit card alert showed Lowe's hit my card three different times for the same order. When I called the store, the manager casually explained that they place multiple authorization holds that can equal up to three times the purchase amount. Apparently this is normal, but nobody bothers warning customers about it. By the end of this ordeal they hit my card over 5 times with holds!!!!  The panels were ready the next day. The single box of screws? Over two weeks out. So they were planning to keep those holds sitting on my card for weeks because they couldn't source a basic box of screws. Customer service didn't help either. When I called to ask about the delay, the rep wouldn't even look up the order and told me they probably didn't have the screws. When I asked to cancel that one item so I could just grab the panels, she said I'd have to cancel it myself online or come into the store. before I left I needed some paint and stood around waiting for over 10 mins whole atleast 5 employees just played on their phones, everyone here is on their phone and when they finally got the paint guy to me I had no idea who he was due to him being in plain clothes no vest to Lowe's attire of any kind. read more

Absolutely horrible, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LOWES, spent about 10k on appliances and bathroom fixtures for our new house. Oven came in last week, delivery guys ran out of the house so fast after I had to chase them down to give them their drill and the old fridge doors they were supposed to take away. Then I unbox the oven the following week for my contractor to install and the whole bottom was smashed in, called lowes they said because it had been more than 5 days I can't get a refund or exchange, are you fing serious? ANd becuase it's been less than a year their protection plan doesn't kick in yet, they kicked me to fridgedaire (manufacturer) who tried to tell me I'd have to pay for it to be repaired, I finally convinced them to pay for all repairs. I will be charing this back since I bought a new oven not one that fell off a cargo ship and was then repaired by a handyman. Hopefully when they lose all the money on this sale it will make them learn. Also bought a vanity the door on it came in all scraped up, the box it came in was in fine condition so it's obvious it was packaged already messed up. I called them they said "oh it's another business that just sells through us so we can't send you a door" if you bring it back to a physical location we can refund you and order a new one" I explained I don't have a car that can fit it and the closes lowes is 30 miles away, they refused to do anything but give me a $50 discount on a $600 item, so I will charge this back too. I chose Lowe's over Home Depot for my new sliding patio door, and I regret that decision. I was given a delivery window of 2:00-6:00 PM and received multiple reminders to be home and ready. I rearranged my entire day and waited, but no one showed up. More disappointing, no one called, texted, or emailed to let me know the delivery wouldn't happen. Delays can happen, but keeping customers waiting for hours without any communication is unacceptable. A customer's time deserves more respect. Paint department... clearly the guy in charge of paint was having a meltdown about his girlfriend and where they should live. His business... Except he walked away on break. Nobody seemed to know what to do. We waited 20 minutes for somebody to help us get paint. Even after asking at the front desk, nobody came. Finally after 20 minutes, a young man came. Told us it would take 5 to 10 minutes to mix the paint. It took more like 20 minutes. And even worse, now that we're home, he didn't put the top on a gallon of blue and is all over the back of the car. And on our clothes. I purchased a Samsung Washer and Dryer in April of 2021. The washer has had multiple phone calls to Samsung to make repairs. The most recent was today, 6/24/26 because iit would not complete a spin cycle. After speaking to Samsung several days and talking for over 2 hours, the problem cotninued. A appliance repair shop came out ($85) to see the problem. The cost for repair would be $591.00, nearly the cost of the washer. I have not been able to contact Lowes: the website for live chat was ineffective; likewise I was not able to speak with the appropriate manager at Lowes where I had purchased the washer. I almost always make my purchases online and try to do delivery when possible. In the store it is so difficult to find help and I always end up waiting forever for someone to come. Finally leaving this review because I purchased for curbside pickup yesterday and I waited in the car for 15 minutes and no one came. The young woman at the counter paged a guy over the intercom but after 7 or 8 minutes...9 Lowe's, there is a culture of "I don't want to be bothered, ask someone else", in your store. I went to return some cabinet handles that I purchased at the Dublin store. The cabinet handles did not fit so. I returned them at the Union City store. I had problems getting a refund because the cashier that rang up my merchandise did not input them correctly so they did not show up on my receipt. Also I was not at the cash register the entire time because he dropped a bottle of my soap and the contents spilled on the floor so I left to get another bottle. The Union City store treated me like a thief. On my receipt there was documentation of only 1 of the seven door handles I purchased. I am going to make every effort to never shop at Lowes again. Installation was relatively seamless and happy with my choice. Lowe's rebate system is a fraud. I sent them the rebate via mail and also electronically only to be told 3 months later and after 6 calls that the item wasn't on some list. Not the fault of the salesperson or this particular store. I called Chop who specifically remembered me and said she would speak with the manager. Moments later I got an email that I would be refunded the cost of the install. I feel redeemed that this store (and it's employees) are able to fix corporate issues. Shame on corporate! read more

REALLY TERRIBLE SERVICE. Workers were so rude not only to me but there were multiple customers having trouble getting help. Workers were rolling their eyes and walking off. I was getting attitude from a worker and she walked away and disappeared. I went in on Friday night bought a washer dryer and I got it delivered today. The people delivering it were awesome within the hour, I noticed that it was on sale at Costco. They included installation delivery Holl away for a much better price than Lowe's. I had to return a few items and asked if they would' give me a price adjustment. Bruce was awesome. Very reasonable and understanding Costco is still a little bit cheaper, but I cannot complain about the customer service from beginning to end was great. Despite having a highly rated credit card for appliance purchases, Lowe's has customer service that needs serious improvement. A relative of mine as well as myself, went through some horrendous lousy customer service. My relative had 3 appliances delivered to his 3 story house. 1 of them was delivered and installed properly onto floor 2 - but there was something about the water part of the fridge, that was not setup for some reason. The other 2 appliances were not moved up at all, because they didnt bring enough movers. The invoice stated a need of a four-man crew, they only had 2. He proceeded to keep calling them and they didnt answer. We had to drive all the way , about 22 miles to there to make a complaint in person. Thankfully they were somehow able to get it resolved , but it wasted a lot of time. ---------- In my own horrendous case , I scheduled a delivery and installation of dishwasher, and for them to pickup the old broken dishwasher . They didnt render the entire service, because they left me a voicemail stating the old one wasnt disconnected . However, it was already detached but just sitting in the old dishwasher slot , thats all. I tried calling over and over in evening and early morning to this location - almost every time , I couldnt reach ANYONE. Its been ahwile since Ive witnessed such customer service from any company, it is just not acceptable. The only time I reached someone, they told me something about connecting me to someone else - shortly after they did that, I was disconnected while on hold on the phone. Wow. Was I angry from all this? That is definitely an understatement. So, I ended up calling shortly after to the credit card # to file a dispute . On top of that I had to pay more to a private vendor, to come pickup the old dishwasher machine since the tenant had a space issue of the old machine being in their way in the house. read more

Bad delivery service. I bought a brand new Bosch dishwasher and couldn't wait to have it delivered. I elected to have it delivered on Saturday so I could make sure we were free. My dishwasher broke over a week ago so I couldn't wait to get the new one installed. We opened up the box and it had a big dent in the bottom right corner and some rubber hanging off the side. When I called customer service they told me they can't get a new one out to me today and the soonest would be Tuesday. 3 more days!!! So now I have to wait even longer for damage that should have been caught at the warehouse. Unbelievable. Last time we came by to purchase something the register kept having errors for the MyRewards program. We went to Customer Service to fix the problem... No help at all. We spent an hr & a half trying to apply a $5 off a $50 purchase, jumping to several different registers, they had to call IT to help fix the problem (which it didn't). One manager was too busy closing registers to help out & the supervisor was too busy on the phone w/ IT to just override the system & apply $5 off, but after that hour & a half that's what had to be done in the end. It's as if giving me that $5 off would have caused them to file for bankruptcy. Also, not even any compensation for the inconvenience, just a "Sorry"... We sometimes go to Lowe's as it's a tiny bit father then our local Home Depot but we will be considering our first choice as they have more of everything but they are a tiny bit more expensive. I would rather pay the little bit for their customer service and friendliness. They store is a lot cleaner and organized. They have a lot more inventory of what we needed. They did help if there was no inventory. They directed which store had availability for us to go to. The cashiers are friendly and some funny. The paint guy we usually see is attentive and friendly. I've been going to Lowes whenever I need any hardware items or any tools for my garage. This place has a lot of choices and you can compare different brands. I've been looking to change my lawnmower and also get a trimmer and blower for my lawn. Once I get to their section of lawnmowers, you'll see different brands and decide what's best for you. I had a choice of an electric or gas-propelled lawnmower. After considering the plus and minus for each one, I decided on getting a craftsman 140 cc gas lawnmower. I have a small front lawn and don't need a big size lawnmower. This lawnmower is just right for a small job for your house. I also picked the combo trimmer/blower since this package had a good price for two items. This is a battery pack package and will be right for a small job. The battery can last for an hour and will be ready for your next job once charged. Service at this location was good. I wasn't sure if the lawnmower comes with oil and approached an attendant. She paged the clerk working on the lawnmower section and within 1 min, the clerk comes along. He assured me that the box has a can of oil and this save me from purchasing one. Before coming to Lowes, I went to another major hardware store and left immediately when nobody assisted me. I was glad I ended up at Lowes.
