I have used this location a few times now and has been really easy and convenient. This past time I ordered some paint in the evening and it was ready early the next morning. They were really intrigued as to what I was doing as I picked up my gallon of black paint and 7 sample pots of various shade of blue and purple..... it was a galaxy mural! Sales people are friendly but it's very loud with people talking to each other and banging of lids and phone calls. I will not be surprise if they make mistakes in their orders. I was there and the manager was talking to sales person while he was in the computer taking my orders. As a costumer I would like a full concentration on my order. I used Sherman Williams for my entire house interior repaint. The employees were very helpful and I love the quality of the paint. The price is higher than other brands but the paint itself is thicker so you usually only need one coat. They do have frequent sales. read more

The store manage John is of NO HELP . He does not know how to treat his customers. Due to the gal of paint not sealed properly , the gal opened when we drove off. We called the shop immediately ,turn around and came . Ryan tried to clean it but it was way to much for him. Now my 21 honda is all massed up. i will give negative star if I could. read more

Great service. I really appreciate them welcoming customers with hot coffee and water. The staff was patient and helpful when I had a difficulty choosing exterior paint colors. Unlike Kelly Moore, the young man guided me on selecting the ideal shades and understanding swatches. Bottom line, Kelly has a lot to learn from Sherwin. Pro tip: Bring your unwanted paint and they'll properly dispose of it for you, even if the paint is a different brand (and from another store). read more

I met Juan picking out stain months ago and every time I come in he greets me by my first name. He has so many customers, I'm always surprised when he recognizes me...probably bc I've spent too much money for sample paint! I'm appreciative of the warm welcome even when it's 10 mins before closing time! Juan really cares and I've seen him coach his staff on the cash register in a very respectful way when they make mistakes. I wish I had a manager like that when I was starting out. I hate to give a bad review since the employees at this location are very nice but the quality of the paint was horrible. I bought the Emerald and Duration lines that are supposedly their best but the painters working on my remodel showed how watery the paint was. They had to do extra coats than normal. I have used other brands and never saw paint this bad. read more

We originally went to the San Lorenzo store in search of the beautiful gray our contractor painted our kitchen with. So off we went to our local store with a picture of the label and a swatch of our paint color. The guy told us the base was out of stock but the Fremont store had it. It was almost 3 pm and the stores closed at 4 pm. He was not rude, but not super helpful when he told us we should call 1st to make sure it wasn't on hold for any other customers. So we called and Nataly said she had it and would hold the 5 gallons for us. We get to the store and as we were standing in line, she asked if we were the ones that called about it. She asked if we had an account and I told her we did not. So then she asked if we were working with a contractor, and if they had an account, she could look up the order and we could get the contractor's discounted price. So we showed her the label with the color combo, and she got the order number and the account number to give us the exact color we needed and the amazing prices! We literally paid 1/3 of what we would've. Nataly is the epitome of wonderful customer service and we appreciate her thoughtfulness!! read more

I just recently finished painting project at my house. As many aware with supply chain issues, Sherwin Williams too is having some issues with material/paint shortage. Emily (the store manager) has been a great help. She was so patient and so willing to help to ensure I got all the materials (although i had to be a bit flexible with upgrade materials that the Sherwin Williams distribution sent on my order). It was a bit more expensive, but I got what I needed and finished our house painting project done. I also noticed those bad reviews on this store should no longer valid. First time shopper at this location. All the bad reviews are very old, so here's an update. The customer service is excellent. Cody is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. These attributes are very rare in retail these days. I was hoping to get service like this when I decided to come here rather than going to a big box warehouse store. I wasn't disappointed. Just my luck I ran into someone so unwilling to help. I had a touch up project, the previous builder used Showcase by Sherwin Williams. I went to this SW location and was told they no longer carried it. I come to find Lowe's carry them, so sure I went there to get it. Their tint was a different match so I went to get another quart not tinted, so a Sherwin William store could shoot tint in there, just how exactly the builder had it done. I went back to this location to talked to an employee there who said sure no problem, just wait for the manager she would do it. I allowed all customers to go ahead of me till i was the only one left. Explained the situation to her, and she told me she wouldn't do it because their tint might not be compatible with a Sherwin Williams product. She gave me every excuse in the book and also brought out their top of line cashmere product to sell me. I ended driving to another SW in Milpitas and they happily tinted the product for me, which took only a few mins.. read more

I came to this store twice. Once to pick up a color sample and another time to order the paint. The day I picked up the sample a caucasian girl was at the counter. She was quite unhelpful, seemed ticked off when I asked her questions. She had the "leave me alone" look on her face. One of the customers saw that I was going nowhere with getting help from her, he jumped in and helped me out. Today I went to pick up the paint, and there was an African American lady at the counter. She was downright rude, and scornful. I just asked her a simple question about pricing and she just didn't want to have it. If these ladies don't want to work in the store and help out customers, they better find a job at McDonald's where they can cop their attitude while flipping burgers. Got 3 samples to try out, bummer it only comes in satin, not flat, so we couldn't get the best idea of how it would look on the house. There are a lot of choices, and Sherwin Williams Duration is rated one of the best for house paint. The gentleman helping was friendly and nice, and didn't mind that we had our dog with us. This is a spacious, well lit, pleasant store. He even told us to wait on buying the paint because its going on sale and would save us 30%. read more

Came to this location on a Saturday afternoon. There were no other customers in store but my family and I. We already knew what we wanted, so we waited til a employee came out from the back. We were in there for almost 10 minutes without any sign out employees. I went looking for someone to help us and my son kept running around the front door making the door ringer go off. I heard voices in the back among two employees. I heard someone from the back say "did you hear the ring" and the other employee said "yes" but neither of them came out for another few minutes. I looked to the right of the back employee paint area and saw a office with a guy sitting with his feet up, watching on his phone. Finally someone came out once more customer started coming in. As I was explaining what my needs for a paint is, the employee (Jonathan, based on receipt) said for a room you would need a flat finish paint. I needed more paint and went to the Hayward location and the employee there said it was strange he said flat when normally a satin finish is applied. The Fremont location gave me bad information and the wait was unnecessary. The bill to on the receipt is strange also. I will never come back here. Update... Received a email from the company's use to my yelp review. I have email back to them on their website feedback and in return received a automated reply response for 2 day. We are now on day 3 with no call back. read more

Have been buying all the paint here to redo the interior (and some exterior touch up). Superpaint is incredible quality and coverage in one coat. And recently had a paint mixup issue (don't mix their color sample paint quarts with superpaint!) and the manager Karla worked hard to help resolve the problem. I'll continue using this store for all my paint in the future. read more
