I purchased a microwave and paid an additional fee for installation. I was told by Tracey install date would be Tuesday. Well I never heard from installer, apparently Tracey did not complete my transaction that would have added me to that list. Now I have NO idea when my install will happen. Went to this store for kitchen floor mats. We ask to women employees where we could find them. They both told us they didn't know. They then walked away. Very rude. Be careful with the apply for the credit card and get a discount scam. Once it's approved they will blame that the system is down to not get you your discount. Not just me but other that happen to. My planning was not planed so well. I needed an Outdoor Patio Heater for a party. I went in and saw one that I like but it wasn't assemble. Tom was a life saver. He said he couldn't promised to have one assemble by the next day. He said he has one on display that he could sell. Guess what I purchased it. He loaded on the truck for me. Apparently corporate has lost sight of customer service because they only assemble things/BBQs on Saturdays. This was quite recent I'm told, about 2-3 weeks ago. We paid nearly $300 for a BBQ but were told by the salesman that it would be assembled on Saturday. Then at checkout we were told it would be ready today, Tuesday. Of course we went to it but it was ready and won't be til Saturday. Despite being told we couldn't have the floor model, it was now offered to us-but my wife said NO! Only a brand new one. Went here s couple of weeks ago to pick up paint for a dresser (after going to Home Depot and receiving the poor customer service as usual). I had no idea what I was doing I literally was looking for paint in the can that said gray. The sales woman in the paint department could obviously see I was clueless and was amazingly helpful and patient with my lack of knowledge. She assisted me with getting all the paint & supplies I needed also with recommendations on how to proceed. Never painted a wall or piece of furniture and my dressers came out great. I appreciate the changes they have made for Covid 19 such as having sanitation table with sanitizers and wipes as soon as you enter and markers on the floor for 6 feet apart as you wait in line. Overall the app place is kept neat and organized and has what you need for various projects. I was not impressed with customer service. I went to paint department and selected a color. I saw a woman behind the counter and kind of hung around waiting to be served. I kept a couple feet distance and stood on the marker where it said to wait, wasnt sure if that was where I was supposed to tell her my selection but she did not make eye contact with me or say she would get to me. After lingering around I wasn't acknowledged so thought okay maybe these aren't the people who assist with my needs so noticed there was a special kiosk to drop off orders so i walked a couple steps to the kiosk and still was not acknowledged, no eye contact, no hello. I pressed the service button and that is when the woman came over to me. She was pissed! She came rushing over and was like "Why did you have to press the button!?". I thought she was being sarcastic and joking, maybe the button is annoying so I laughed it off and said oh im sorry, my bad. Then she went on a rant on how people are rude and have no patience these days. Directly to my face! Im sorry Sandi, had you acknowledged me and said hey I'll be with you in a minute that would have been nice. I literally moved into the area and this was my first trip to the hardware store. I was shocked at how she treated me and put me on blast when I was quiet and politely was looking for assistance but no one even looked up or said anything to me even though I waited. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FEOM THIS STORE I ordered a new fridge on 5/9, expected delivery on 5/26 but it was pushed back to 6/19. I understood things are somewhat messed up with Corona and all. I spent yesterday 5/18 getting prepared for my delivery today between 10:30-2:30. I sit here waiting until 4:00 (giving them extra time for traffic etc) I begin calling the trucking company that does try the deliveries they informed me that all the Lowe's deliveries for today were cancelled, and she didn't know why babe transferred me to the upland Lowe's. I don't know much about the service indoors but I love the garden section of Lowe's. Thanks to the house I now have a great place I can use my green thumb and I have picked up most of my plants at Lowe's... and not just the regular garden section... but the DISCOUNTED area. On most weekends, early Sat or Sun morning I have gotten great deals on trees, flower bushes and indoor plants. All for $5 or less. I live in the neighborhood of this Upland location, and have gone here for home supplies throughout the years. Usually, I've had no major concerns. Recently, I decided to purchase a washer and dryer from this store. After going online to choose the appliances, the process was easy. Unfortunately, to-date, I've still not received my appliances. The total purchase was $1600, made in early December. I've spoken with their customer service/appliance department several times. Each time I've been told the items are on back-order. I've had to chase down delivery status each time. I called today, one last time, to see what was going on. The appliance representative informed me the item is still delayed until beginning to mid-February. I informed her I wanted to cancel my order due to this long delay and Lowe's has had my payment since early December. After being put on hold to be transferred to customer service, my call was disconnected. I'm a patient consumer and very loyal to brands and businesses based in Upland, but this is terrible service anyway you look at it. I have a service dog. She is a medical alert dog. Very important for me to have her with me at all times. There have been multiple times that I have been here and there has been very aggressive dogs in the store. My dog has almost been bitten twice. I ordered a new shower door. The man who took my deposit for measuring as well as the woman who wrote up the order and final bill were pleasant and helpful. However after Lowe's received my money it was next to impossible to get any information from them. I had to call 3 times just to find out it was still on order and was expected by the 15th- On the 18th I called again- the woman was helpful-but no information was available- she said she would have someone follow up with my on the 22nd- NEVER heard back- Finally heard from the installer today the 24. The customer service is HORRIBLE. I do not recommend buying ANYTHING that needs installation. LOWES is no help at all. Fingers crossed the installers are better than Lowes! read more

If I was to rate this store on Fri,Sat or even up to Sun afternoon, it would have been a zero. BUT, I was able to meet Savanah who took over and made everything work out. Really, it wasn't Lowes as much as it was the contracting company they hire to deliver. I have to give Lowes a low rating because they haven't found someone else to contract with and would rather lose customers or make their employees have to work way harder to keep them, when all Lowes needs to do is contract with worthy contractors. DSI Logistics is the worst. Just read their BBB reviews. We bought a refrigeratorin the beginning of Nov. They give a 12hr window then no-showed on Fri. I waiting on hold for over an hour for someone to answer. They said they would deliver Sat, they didn't pick up the fridge from Lowes on Sat so I had to wait until Sun. Then after confirming they were for sure coming on Sun, waited 4 more hours and called for an eta to find out they canceled. This all happened the week before Thanksgiving. So ya, I probably will not order from Lowes unless they change their sub-contracting company. So they get a 0 rating. Savanah gets 5 stars, so I'm meeting in the middle and giving a 2.5. read more

Horrible customer service! Ordered a shed and it was scheduled to be delivered on the 21st of February between 8am and 12pm. They called and moved the delivery time to 12pm-4pm. I got a call at 1:45 and was told the truck would be here shortly. Never arrived. The online portal showed it being rescheduled for the 22nd between 8am-11am. Never arrived. Called the store manager and he told me that it was impossible for any of that to have happened since the shed never arrived at the store. He said he would call the vendor and call me "right back". Never heard from him. Is this how you treat your customers? New date is scheduled for March 9th. Glad I missed two days of work for nothing! read more

I completely commend the store manager for his ability to fully staff the store this holiday weekend. There were helpful store associates everywhere asking if anyone needed help AND they gave them the right responses -- they didn't just make up an answer or random guess like they do at too many hardware stores. I was very impressed with the quality of service, the fully stocked shelves of inventory AND a speedy checkout several times today. I have always thought this store to be a step above others but what I experienced in that store this weekend compelled me to take the time and share this review. Went to Lowes Upland yesterday (the one on Foothill near Cable airport) with my daughter to pick up patio furniture. Went to customer service as we had waited almost 20 minutes for someone to help us. The woman in customer service (Younger woman, I think her name was Mia) was absolutely horrible. She was talking to another employee and was annoyed that I had asked for assistance. Complete, instant attitude! I had asked if she could see if a lounge chair was in stock or if she could help find someone that could assist. She looked away, mumbled something into the store speaker system then continued to talk to the other employee. She continued to look away from us and talk with the employee. Clearly upset that she had to actually work for a few minutes and help someone. I asked if the lounge chair was in stock and she snapped back, pointed to another employee and said he would help me. Then quickly turned away and started talking again. Customer Service? More like Customer Disservice! There is NEVER an excuse for attitude or being rude. I am posting this as Lowes Upland needs to know. I will now shop at Home Depot (which is closer) and pay more, as Lowes Upland must not care enough to hire the right type of people for customer service. Last year I wrote their CEO explaining why I was giving them my Lowes card back, with a promise to stop doing any business with them again due to poor service and rude employees. We keep trying to shop at Lowes in Upland, and keep having bad experiences. Today's experience is our last, as we will not come here again. We ordered multiple items online, and requested curbside pickup. We had to rent a truck at a different location to pick it up, because Lowes didn't have their rental truck available (and renting the truck was a lot cheaper than home delivery). We were notified that the order was ready, but that they couldn't fulfill the entire order so had sent it off to another Lowes, the one in Rancho Cucamonga, where we would have to go pick up part of the order (after getting most of the order from the Upland store). We were not consulted about whether or not we wanted to drive further, to another store, to pick up various parts of our order. We decided to not fight it, though - we rented our truck (at Home Depot!), drove to Upland Lowes and parked in the curbside pickup area. Then we called - and called - no one ever answered the phone for curbside pickup. So I went inside the store and had to wait 15 minutes in line at Customer Service before I could ask for help. I was told that THERE WAS NO CURBSIDE PICKUP AT THIS TIME - and that there were signs saying so. I was parked in Space #4 (out of 6 spaces) and there were no signs anywhere that we could see saying that (although later we saw that there were signs on the other 3 parking spaces, opposite the one we were in). The purpose of curbside pickup is to reduce exposure, and to also get help loading heavy purchases into our truck. Instead, we had to go into the store and wait for them to go get it, and then we had to roll it out and load it into the truck itself. All of this took at least a half hour, which means we had to pay more rental on our rental truck since it took so long. Plus, the two people we spoke with at Customer Service (did not get names) never apologized for the inconvenience, and were not friendly. Then we drove to the other Lowes and had very fast and friendly curbside pickup - so it's not all Lowes stores, just the Upland store. Once we got home, we realized the Upland store gave us an incorrect part. So we called and found out someone in the store had pulled the incorrect size wall panel, and oddly not charged us for it. So we received a free piece of wall panel in the wrong size, but because we had to rent a truck to pick up the order, and we still need a large piece of wall panel, I guess we will need to rent a truck again to get it. We had received notification that it was ready for pickup, so it was definitely their mistake. When we called about it, Lowes should have said they would deliver it to us due to the error being theirs, but of course, THEY DID NOT OFFER. So we cancelled the order and will have to figure out what to do. We will not be going back to Lowes in Upland. read more

Do NOT buy carpet from Lowe's! I hired the professionals to measure and install carpet for my home, not a small project! They installed last week and left me with lots of remnants as expected along with a full 12x7 carpet! That's $232 of wasted carpet that I didn't need that they over measured for! I get there will be extra carpet but this is NOT acceptable! Lowe's does nothing- call the installers- installers say call the store- installers, which is Keller Interiors- don't use them either!
