This Lowe's Vallejo customer service is horrible. Many times I have gone into this store only to find there is no one to help. One night I spent 2 hours trying to purchase a refrigerator. There was one clerk and about 6 people waiting. Many times he called for help and no one came. My most recent experience with them (ongoing) is trying to get some patio furniture I ordered in November. When I called the store, the "dept. manager" hung up on me. When I called back, the sweet girl on the phone apologized and said she would have the store manager call me. 24 hours have passed and I am still waiting for that call. read more

Pathetic customer service. There is no excuse for being this bad. Was promised 10 days delivery for an in stock washing machine. Called the store 2 days before scheduled delivery was told delivery was confirmed. I received a confirming email 1 day before scheduled delivery and then an email from the delivery company confirming the delivery window. On the scheduled day the delivery window came and went, no washing machine. At least the delivery company eventually returned my calls they explained that their driver arrived at the store and Lowes did not have it in stock. I understand that mistakes happen but NOBODY called texted or emailed me. As I write this I have been calling for over two hours trying to get SOMEONE at Lowes to answer the phone. As a consumer and shopping at your nearby home improvement store less than 5 min drive is very convenient. Unfortunately, today wasn't a pleasant one. Came to the store 2:30ish PM for a new Gas Dryer. Caught our eyes on their Lowe's Store CC 5% off each day or 12 Months Interest Free etc. As you know, each department would have someone in charge or working at their station to meet your needs. Well, NOT TODAY! Today was horrible. As we looked around for a possible purchase, I click on one of those "call service member" button to assist us. This small call button is located at Appliances Dept. I push the button once or twice, light lit. No overhead feedback. Tried again numerous time, no response. Sure, maybe that machine is broken. Went over to Customer Service. Yes the line is forever as any other stores nowadays. Finally getting the assist we need to purchase this Dryer. Unfortunately, at Lowe's they don't teach their Service Members how to be in Service. We got the lack of everything. If I can remember how to scramble her name I would..it's something Xiana or so. We told her what we needed at Appliances Dept and if they can send someone over. She made an overhead call and had us waited for this person name Jhavey or something like that. It's been 30-40min had pass and still no sign of this member. Went over to Customer Service, remember, you have to get in line again. Now, We are getting frustrated to get the bottom of this. I grabbed the sale sign and maybe if We can just bring that and have them scan and pay for it there..we can go about our business. Again, that attempt failed because they seem to not know how to do it. Come on!!! That Customer Service Xiana explained to us to go online or text the number for Lowe's CC ..I ask why? Then she obnoxiously pointed at the sign..so then I said, it does say, see customer service. Does Vallejo Lowe's Customer Service need better understanding on their job duties? Like WTF..Again, told us to wait back at Appliances. 1hr pass. Now We are mortified about this negative experience. I then stopped a worker who didn't have a Lowe's ID but for sure he works there..told us to go to Pro Desk and they can help us. He said, those Customer Service are lost and can't give the right answers. Wow. Finally at Pro Desk area, a worker name Jeff assisted us through the process getting approve for CC. But, as we told Jeff to make sure that the Dryer HAS to be Gas and NOT Electric. He double check and stated it is Gas. At this point, we thought our visit here is over. Until, we have to wait in line again for pick up at Customer Service. The item was not gas and it was electric. Another WTF moment. So now, we have to make a return/refund. Should I continue? Ok so, Customer Service were ease on how to make refunds..I think that's the only area these people knows how to do. Aside from that, they're sinking ship like Sears, Macys, Kmart etc.. We go home and tried checking different Appliances Store nearby. No luck. I called Lowe's in Fairfield and explained our issue. I get a better information on how to go about this issue. Go online and Purchase it there. Another roadblock there. The "On Day" approved Lowe's CC card only has last 4digit and cannot continue online. WTF. Should I keep going?! I'll get on to the end of this. Went back to ProDesk area and some Filipino Lady named Arita knew what we need. She got us the help we needed. Although, some random employee named Stephanie tried to lured as somewhere else like go back to Appliances dept..the time is now 15min before store closing. I had to get verbal at this point and let them know How Dumb their employees had done nothing for us today but the run around. She then stepped back and assist. Another employee name Tyler knew how to do it..gave Arita step by step while Stephanie watched. Finally got the deal. However, Arita was getting close to clocking out..and I get it..she needs to go home. She forgot to scan my Military Discount. I'll fix that later when we get the item and adjust that discount. read more

I have tried for the last two weeks it find out about an on-line item that I purchased 10/4/2020. I'm put on hold for over 20 min, hung up on and have to deal with rude employees. And I still haven't been able to get an answer. I'm writing this while being on hold for the last 10 min. I'm hoping that maybe after writing this someone will deal with this. Your turning into Home Depot and that's not a compliment. I ordered this online just to find out that it's not lowes it's a third party and they told me they don't control those companies. I have a newborn and I take advantage of "pick up in store" quite a lot. So once I got my email that my order was ready I go to the store. It's one thing for the system to not work and my order isn't actually ready but it's quite another for the 3 customer service reps to not give you service what so ever. ESPECIALLY ONE NAMED DENA. She was the one to ask what I needed but realized very soon that my order was not even processed. She has an exchange with another rep who probably just came back from break, judging by how she stuffed her mouth with gum and starts smacking on it. By this time there's 2 other people behind me and guess who decides to help them out? Yup, Miss Dena. She didn't acknowledge me or assure me about my order at all. Just decides she's done with me and moves on. And then guess what happens when she finishes with the 2 gentlemen who were behind me? She sits down at the corner register and looks at the computer like she's being productive. The other rep ended up being stuck (yes, stuck, cause that's how they made me feel) with me and she went through the store to get my items. But don't think that was any better. She did not acknowledge me either! there was no "ok ma'am I'm sorry, I'll get your items" she spoke to Miss Dena asking her if she wanted to get the items. Dena didn't respond to her, of course, that's just how Dena is. So this other lady says "ok, I'll get it myself cause you don't want to." I was carrying my newborn, by the way, and no one said anything along the lines of "ok ma'am, we're going to get this ready for you, I apologize. Why don't you take a seat while I get your items, it'll be a few minutes." THE WORST. Get outta here with that ish, Dena. read more

Do not get a washer/dryer from here! I am on my 3rd one due to it not working WHATSOEVER. Each time they come in my home they damage my walls a little more. Spoke to someone who confirmed a delivery time and never showed up. Spoke to Landon the manager who couldn't tell me anything as to who/why I was called and confirmed an incorrect delivery time/date. I have never experienced this level of disregard from Lowes. Used to love coming. But after being sold an new AC unit that had actually been repackaged and was missing parts, and so had to be brought back... Then having a fridge ordered for us delivered and installed missing parts.... ordering a grill to be assembled and having alrrady paid for it, came in to pick up and no one knows anything about it. Thankfully we had our receipts. Came in to pick up missing part for fridge and waited no less than 32 minutes... seriously cant make this up. Ridiculous! read more

The customer service very, very bad at this location. If you know what you are looking for, you will have no problems. If you don't know what you are looking for and need assistance or have any questions. Good luck, the staff at this location suck. That's if you can find someone. Most of the time you only can find the cashiers and they just tell you to go back to that department and push that button that no one ever show's up. What's wrong with the phone next to their registers ? ? It must be just there for looks. I have given this Low's several chances. I am so done with this dump. They need better training. In a word, frustrating. Just wasted an hour of my life I'll never get back. Needed to order some off-size doors for a home project. Figured why not Lowes....Simple, right? Spent 45 minutes waiting for anyone from the doors and windows department to respond to repeated intercom requests, behind someone else who had already been waiting 20 minutes for someone to respond to multiple calls to that department. Calls asking for a manager were answered by someone who indicated the manager and assistant managers were out to lunch. Sounds like the whole store is out to lunch. Finally walked to the front of the store and talked to an unapologetic assistant manager who sounded like he really could care less about helping a customer. I remember when Lowes first opened, and you couldn't take 3 steps in the store without someone asking you if they could help you. A lot has changed. Take my advice and save yourself some time. As bad as they are, Home Depot is better, even on a weekend than Lowes. Their customer service is beyond crap, it flat out doesn't exist. i would rather have given zero stars as that's what the did for me zero. i placed on online order for something my store was out of but i could have went to home depot to pick up. so i get a confirmation email stating we got your order and you will receive an email when its ready to be picked up. well 2 days go by and i checked to see the status and one items is getting shipped and the other was canceled without an email or phone call. im a contractor and was hopping to just pick these up over the weekend and have them charged and ready for the week ahaead. the order was for dewalt 6amp 20 volt batteries. this is absolutely unacceptable. shame on you lowes and your lazy management and employees. read more

THE WORST customer service I've ever seen. Today about 1100 AM, my wife and I needed a couple blinds cut. Went to the window covering area and two guys were sitting there at the computers. One guy was helping someone else. My wife asked if the other guy would cut us some blinds, he said it would be a few minutes, so I went off to do some more shopping. 10 minutes later I returned, the one fellow was just finishing up with the other customer, the guy my wife talked to was still sitting at his computer doing nothing. I went and got the last of the items we needed and when I returned the one salesman had finished with the other customer and left the area. I asked the remaining salesman (who hadn't done anything in 15 minutes) if he could cut us some blinds. He said it would be a few minutes, at that point I left my cart and the store, never to return!!! read more

Maybe I came on a good day, but unlike others, my experience here was very good and even worth the 35 minute drive and bridge toll. I made the lengthy trip to this store for an item I found advertised online but not available anywhere but Lowe's and not available for shipping. The location is odd but the scenery is amazing- rolling green hills with cattle, wide open sky. I felt like I'd taken a road trip to rural farmland, not Vallejo. When I entered the garden department, I was immediately impressed by its size and the variety of stuff available. They had products I have not seen at any of the three Home Depot stores in the inner east bay (Oakland, Eville and Richmond). Initially the older woman at the register was not very friendly, but there was a young guy who was new at the job who really tried to help. Then the older woman appeared and her attitude seemed to have improved because she turned out to be very friendly and helpful, too. In fact, she had the young guy find me a more suitable cart, she offered to push my cart so I could more easily walk my dog, she helped me pick out a plant, and then she even took my cart full of stuff to the register for me while I went in the main store for some other stuff. I have never, EVER experienced anything even remotely similar in any Home Depot. Then, when I went inside the store, I was impressed by how well lit and clean it looked. And unlike Home Depot, there were Lowe's employees seemingly everywhere. And they answered my questions!! At Home Depot I feel like the entire store is self-service and finding an employee is like spotting a unicorn, and if you do spot one, it's already been captured by 15 other customers needing help, and most of the time the employee doesn't even know what they're talking about. At Lowe's I had two different people help me, and I found the product I needed (trash compactor bags, which Home Depot doesn't even carry in store and the employees I asked did not even know what I was talking about!) How psyched was I about this store? Psyched enough to call my friend and tell her how psyched I was. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because every single flowering plant I looked at had a prop. 65 warning. I don't know what they put on their plants that require the warning, but I am not interested in putting plants in my yard that contain chemicals known to cause cancer, regardless of opinions that prop 65 may be overkill. If all those plants have carcinogens, even tiny amounts, think about the accumulation in the soil once planted!! But the location and the employees at this store were great. read more

I'm completely pissed for my father, I sent my 75 years old father to pick up 5 bags of sand, 50 lbs a piece, because I had to work and also cuz Lowel's told me they will help load the sand bags. Lowel's told me to direct my father to the lumber parking and they will have someone to help load the sand bags into his pickup. When he arrived where we were told too, he spoke with a short pleasantly plump mexican lady, he asked her that he needed help to load those sand bags in his pickup, she pointed in a direction towards the sand bags and said those sand bags are over there at the pallets and that he can load it himself. He had to load those 5 bags of 50 pounds of sand bags which of course he was not very happy about. My father is upset and asking me to write this review. He say he will never ever return to this Lowel's again. My poor father, his back was aching when he got home. read more

Great, great, great customer service-above and beyond. I bought a pergola from Lowes on sale, it was delivered in perfect condition, but during installation, I damaged a part. Trying to get it done before Memorial Day party, I took the part to Lowes. They didn't have to replace it, because I would normally have to deal with the manufacturer, but they took down a completely good one and replaced it with the part. And it was a major part. Had they not replaced it, I would have had to take it apart and start over when the manufacturer replace it. I know Lowes is a bit more expensive than Home Depot, but it's worth the trip across the bridge. From now on, bye, bye HD, hello Lowes. read more

If I could give a zero, I would. I purchased a gas stove here...they told me I would have it in two days. Then they called and said it would be a week longer. Ok. Today was the delivery. The men who installed it left the stove and drove away with a gas leak going on in my house. I called them. Oh they said, there was no way to get same day help. What? a life threatening leak caused by their delivery vendor....but not today? I called back (each call mind you is a minimum of 20 minutes hold time while you wait for yet another inept person) Finally got someone to come back out. They did not want to fix the leak (and with attitude through the roof) took the stove back out of my house. So now, they have my money and I have nothing to cook with. I call them to try and get some sort of resolution 3 more calls with 20 minutes each wait time....still no resolution. Shop elsewhere. This is my advice. Home Depot sucks too so just find a smaller business where the employees give a crap. read more

I then had the rep say she ran out of ink and she went off to get some. Waited 20 minutes for her to come back and she didn't even know how to put ink inside the printer. Avoid this location. I experienced a poor situation with a huge shutter order. I ordered 21 shutters for my home and the third party vendor delayed, complicated the order. It was 9-10 months for me to get my shutters, but overall I was content with the way my shutters look and cool down my home. I can't emphasize the great customer service I got from, Vanessa, Yvonne and the store manager Marcos. Thank you guys for making a horrible experience a not so bad one with the support and friendly customer care I got from the aforementioned folks. Thank you guys for turning my bad, bad experience with Springs (third party shutter people) not so much of a bad one at the completion of my shutters. I would recommend them (Lowe's) but please make sure they don't go with Springs Shutters for the order. My overall experience with the installers was really good, even if they kept having to come back to my house to get the job right. read more

I distinctly remember how excited my wife and I were when we saw the Lowes sign from the freeway signifying their arrival to Vallejo. I couldn't wait until it open; we were already planning for our home improvement ideas. Beautiful store, but the horrible service has forced me to return to Home Depot. On three separate occassions, I had to wait over 25 minutes to receive service at an empty paint counter; even after pushing the assist button. Once, an assistant manager responded and turned the service button off, tried to assist me but didn't know how to use the mixing machines. I won't go back until they figure things out read more

I'm a Lowe's fan, in general. But it seems every time I go to the Lowe's in Vallejo I'm appalled by the foul language I hear. And it's not from the customers in the store. It's the employees! Tonight when I was waiting in line to purchase some garden items there was a little verbal tug-of-war going on between several of the employees in the garden center. They were actually yelling at each other at one point. When it was my turn at the cash register, the two remaining employees made several disparaging remarks (foul words included) about another employee with no apparent concern that I was standing right there listening to them. Totally un-classy. Lowe's needs to provide their employees with a bit of education on what is and isn't appropriate and professional behavior. read more

Horrible customer service! I will not spend another dollar here! I will go to the Home Depot or even the Fairfiled Lowes! I was in desperate need of fridge and washing machine because both of my broke in the same week, so I went to Lowes. The purchasing part was easy. The idea of delivery even easier. The actual execution horrible! Vallejo Lowes promised next day delivery, so I took the day off from work because we need a fridge ASAP. Lowes calls me the day of the delivery, and says we can't deliver the fridge because there is damage to it, but the person who check it on it the day before said everything was fine, so I was kinda glad we didn't get a damaged fridge, but I was hoping to get the washer at least because our laundry was backing up. The delivery person said so we want to deliver everything together on Monday, 3 days later. I then asked if they could possibly get the fridge from another store because online the inventory stated other stores had the fridge in stock. The delivery person said he would ask his manager and call me back. One hour later no call. So I follow up and ask the status and another person said the person who helped me went to lunch and she would check on it and give me a call back. I asked when she would call me back and the service reps states within the hour. Again, 1 hour passes by no call. I call back and ask what's going on. The lady states she will talk to her manager. I get a call back from the manager and since 2 hours has passed the delivery truck is out and there is nothing they can do about delivering any of my appliances. This is horrible customer service on so many levels. I understand being busy, but making no effort to correct your wrong is unacceptable. I returned everything and in principle went to Lowes in Fairfield. I got the same items and delivered as promised. Fairfield Lowes even went out of their way to make sure of delivery because their third party delivery company could not do it another department manager got a flatbed truck and came out and delivered. That's customer service! Never again will I shop at Vallejo Lowes. read more

My husband called just now to inquire about a sliding screen door. When he called the lady who answered the phone was quite short with him. He politely asked, "May I please speak to someone about a sliding screen door?" He didn't even get a, "Yah just a sec, just a moment, or please hold" from the gal, just an instant click and hold music. Freaking rude. He waited on hold for about 10 min with no one answering except for the gal in customer service who he kept getting re routed to, due to do one answering. (She was quite unpleasant as well each time she had to answer. No courtesy, and zero politeness.) We had to ask for the manager due to the fact every employee refused to answer our call for 10 min. (not counting the ruse customer service girl) I work a phone job doing customer service for a living, and I have little understanding or patience for someone who can't act polite to someone being nothing but pleasant to them over the phone. Saying "Please Hold" is part of your customer service job when speaking on the phone. Maybe the employes need some retraining at this store. I don't care if you work retail and hate your job, your making a paycheck. Unlike a lot of people now a days. Act polite to the customers who ensure you still have a job. We can just as easily go to the Concord Lowes. read more

I ordered a fridge from this store and was told my order will be delivered within 10 business days. When I did not hear from them after the delivery date, I called and was told that it's on back ordered and it will take at least another week before they'll get one from the manufacturer. I tried calling a week later and their employees has told me they will call, and after 3 hours they still didn't call. I called back 20 minutes before closing and was put on hold indefinitely until they closed. Their employees are very unprofessional. Take your business else where, unless you want to pay for something and never get your stuff and never hear any update. read more

I'll start with the pro's for this store: 1) Very clean 2) Nothing else! I've been in here twice. The first time I called ahead of time looking for a specific item. I spoke with an employee from the store who said my desired item was available and that they had it. So I made my way down to the store, look for the item, can't find it, grab an employee to help me, he can't find it, speak with the manager, turns out the item doesn't exist. That pissed me off. I came in 4 months later because Home Depot did not have a different item I needed. So I wandered the store for 30 minutes and the entire time not a single employee greeted me or attempted to help me in any way. Home Depot is the same way, abundant amount of employees who just walk around and don't say anything to customers, chat amongst other employees and don't work, and last just don't work at all. I'm assuming its a trend in Vallejo, or maybe all home improvement stores; I don't really know. But after the 30 minutes of searching, I left due to frustration. Our old washer finally died and flooded our garage on Dec 23 we went to Lowes in Vallejo Ca as our first stop and saw the top loader which fit what we needed but it was 3.4 cupic foot and I wanted a 4.0. The salesman said he knew they had a 4.0 size left in the warehouse from there black friday sale that didn't sell. He said it would cost less than the 3.4. He went and looked and couldn't find it. We moved on to H depot and best buy we weren't impressed so we went back to Lowes to purchase the smaller one. When we went to the appliance section the salesman said while we were gone he located the 4.0 washer. We got it for 80 dollars less than the smaller one. We got free next day delivery on Christmas Eve by a very curteous delivery man, and they took away our old washer. I could not be happier with my experience with lowes, and I am a tough consumer to please. read more

I have not had a lot of satisfaction with this particular branch of Lowe's. I have been here a number of times, but with the incompetent employees and standard prices, this is not a place that I would go to over Home Depot or Ace Hardware any day. The store itself is great, but there is just a lack of friendly, helpful employees. Also, the call in service is absolutely terrible. I called to order some lumber to be cut and was on the line for 20 minutes, while I was driving over there. I go in, still on the wait line, and there are employees standing around talking! That was actually my last visit to Lowe's, as a matter of fact. Customer service is very important and this place doesn't have it. P.S. I went in to find out the cost of some turf for a small plot of land behind my house, and had to wait literally 30 minutes to have anyone come over, and then when they did, I found out that I couldn't even order any for the size of land I needed it for. I came here because I had a coupon. Service is poor. I waited over 30 minutes after someone said they'd be back to help me. I normally don't need help at stores like this, but the item I needed was a large box on a top shelf. When I found a second person to help after the first had disappeared, she said "you don't need help buying those products." Here I am, nearly an hour later standing here waiting next to some lady who's talking to herself... Don't come here if you need help. Well, I'm sorry to say that after years of being a diehard Lowe's fan, this relationship is over (and we spend LOTS there every year). Bought a $300 TroyBilt lawnmower. Second time we used it, it started sputtering. Used it a couple more times thinking this was surely a fluke...I mean, it's a TROYBILT with a HONDA motor! But after the 4th use, decided there was something seriously wrong. The problem is the Sta-Bil that Lowe's AND Troybilt insisted we add to the fuel. Long story short, they would not return the mower or even exchange the mower since we were 2 weeks past the 30-day return policy (it's dry here in Texas, we're only mowing every couple of weeks in June and July, so it took us several weeks to realize this problem was here to stay). In fact, they told us we would need to pay an additional $88.00 for the repair of the carburetor. Nope. I don't think so. We're not new to the world of lawnmowers. Between my husband and I, over 60 years of experience with lawnmowers. Never used Sta-Bil before, but following the instructions of the manufacturer AND the Lowe's salesperson cost us big time. Never again. We were treated like criminals for refusing to pay for the repair on this new mower. We're honest, hardworking people. Not looking for a handout or a freebie. Just to be treated fairly and with respect. Didn't get that.
