I have been a loyal Nissan Customer since 2004 and have purchased several Nissan vehicles. I have never had issues with the service department nor any issues that were not resolved. My issues are: 1) Loyalty Nissan's recent credit card fee of 3% now being charged to the customer, and 2) Loyalty Nissan no longer provides complimentary shuttle service, but instead now provides what they call Nissan Home Delivery. Loyalty Nissan will take the customer to their home/work while vehicle is being serviced, and then will drop-off the vehicle at the customer's home/work when done, but for a charge of $11. Sure $11 is not that much but it's the principal. Loyalty Nissan did not used to charge the customer the 3% credit card fee and they used to provide complimentary shuttle service. As I mentioned at the beginning, my issue is not with Loyalty Nissan's service department. My issue is with the extra costs that this company/owner is now charging its customers. read more

Would give a zero if I could, Tim service manager rude and has no clue what customer service is. Had my battery replaced under warranty and it went bad again because my alternator went bad again 3rd time in 3 years. Battery has a four year warranty but he refused to honor because it was replaced under warranty. Never heard of such a thing, two other Nissan dealers told me and showed me in the computer that it is under warranty but he refused to do anything about it. Just claimed he has been there 30yrs and the is absolutely nothing he would do. Worst customer service ever, Rude and unprofessional. Your call doesn't address the issue and quite frankly, having a $200 "credit" at your dealership for the "repair" that will exceed $3,500 is a joke. I'm sorry an employee became ill the day my husband waited 7 hours at your dealership. I stand by my remarks. I believe your dealership sold us a "Certified" vehicle that never should have had that dubious honor. Despite your claims that this vehicle wasn't part of the recall and warnings in Altima years 2013 -2016, the warning light remains on and it will cost more than $3500 to repair on a low-mileage vehicle. We have integrity and will not knowingly sell or give the vehicle to anyone with this airbag warning light displayed. Stating on the repair ticket that the warning lights "aren't part of the VSP inspection list" is also conflicting information. Warning lights are there for a reason. It's our plan to have the issue rectified, but not at your dealership. I have bought both new and certified used vehicles from your dealership in the past, but don't feel comfortable doing so again. read more

I was pre-approved from my bank before I came here to look and test drive a vehicle. The finance person said he thought he could beat the bank's rate I was given, so I let him take a credit application. He brought me a paper to sign with the vehicle's price, taxes, etc and he had signed it and handed me a pen and asked me to sign the paper. I looked at the final price and asked him what were the extra items added on totalling and additional $2200. He matter of factly said it was crash guard protection if I wreck my car "we won't hold that against you if you trade your vehicle in with us and will give you the full trade-in amount." And then he said the other charge was to have the vehicle washed every 6 months and paint protection applied. At no time did he offer to remove the charges or even say it was "optional." This was an immediate red flag for me and in my mind, it was a wrap and I was done. I asked him what my interest rate was because there was a "range" of car payments for each column of years financed. He didn't tell me. I asked him to remove the extra charges and let me see the paper again. He returned with the added charges removed but the payment columns still had "ranges" of what my car payment would be. I asked him again what my interest rate would be, and again, he did not tell me. He then got another guy to come and talk to me and I asked him why were there ranges of car payments if they knew what interest rate I qualified for since they took a credit application. He was pleasant but never really answered my question, offered a lot of small talk, so I ended up leaving. I called my bank the next day and the loan officer told me they could see that my credit was ran by the dealership. My bank said my credit score is high and that I qualify for the best finance rates. Why this dealer couldn't or wouldn't tell me what rate their bank(s) could offer, after running my credit report, is another red flag in my book. Note: they charge literally thousands more than other dealerships by offering lifetime oil changes, inspections, etc. Do your research beforehand and do not sign anything before you go over the paperwork. We took our car to have the rims repaired as covered by our warranty. We were told it would be a 24 hour turnaround. Our car was in the shop for over a week. The service writer took 3 days just to submit the claim! We had spoken to him about the rims on at least 3 occasions, called and sent emails for 2-3 months. Not sure why it was such a difficult process. We finally had to get the service manager involved to get the work completed and it still took over a week. We had planned to buy our next car from Loyalty but after this experience, we will look elsewhere. read more

Purchased a Certified Pre-owned 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited with 70K miles on it for 23998. I paid cash for it as it was my 6th car purchase in 8 years at the same dealership. Long story short, the cars been in the repair shop 3 times in the last 2 months for dead battery and towing cost of $465.00 and service for oil change of $60.00 and finally the oil coil and seals are distorted and leaking and this is going to cost me another $1400.00. So much for their Loyalties for Life BS. You would assume the car was in tip top shape when they sold it, since they claim to do a 216-point inspection when they "Certified" its classification. Don't ever buy a used car from these dealerships. They've lost a 6 times customer for life. read more

Loyalty gave me and my husband a wonderful experience last year. We're in the military and we both got free oil changes- I drive a Nissan bought in CA, he drives a GMC. Yep. Free. I called today to schedule another oil change and I'm told that because I didn't buy my car at Loyalty, the oil change most likely will not be complimentary. When I asked for someone who could give me a solid answer, the man said no one was available. This experience combined with my awful, awful experience BUYING this car at Quality Nissan in Escondido, CA makes for one upset "customer". Read your website, people, and you'll see that you offer us Nissan customers FREE OIL CHANGES NO MATTER WHERE WE BOUGHT THE CAR. the GMC isn't free? No sweat. We love GMC. Their customer service is top notch. The only thing making me give this review more than one star is the lovely woman in internet sales at Loyalty who happened to answer my call when I decided to ask for a manager (they were all in Monday meetings ... My Armada was not starting properly. You would have to crank it about 5 times and then it would l fire up. June of 2020 they said it was the battery wires..connected wrong (been driving it for 2!yrs). Fixed the wires (lol). I go to pick up the truck and it's dead -no sound. Day next they say we THINK you need a starter. Starter never then die. We in February 2021 . Same problem Feb18-Mar2 they replace the fuel pump and put a starter (2396.00)on it-no problem I should be riding great now. March 22 back in the shop and this time the smart tech says I need a new CLUSTER!!!! Dang give him a brownie HE WAS 100% RIGHT!!! (391.00) No one apologized for the wrong diagnosis! The young lady there gave out information on my vehicle to another repair shop not knowing who that lady was!!! It was none her business. So no I do not recommend them at all. There is no way that in 2 weeks I needed something else done to my truck when I had the same problem with it. read more

A few months ago, my mother and I went there to look around and purchased a car for me. The Sales representative Lane Justice ( cool name) was knowledgeable about what he knew, very friendly and polite. We were instantly impressed. He was on his phone telling us what was available in my price range and showing pictures. He said, let's go look around. We went to a few and then he said, well let me drive them to you, because I am partially handicapped and use crutches. I did not feel that he was been extra nice, because of this. It just seems he was a happy and genuine Sales Rep. He was not pushy at all. So, I found the vehicle I was interested in; took it out for a test drive and it was relaxing. The vehicle would accommodate my partial handicapped you know to comfortably drive. I needed a vehicle roomier and bigger; because I am tall 5'11. I love this SUV and to be a used one it was clean, no stains, tears, smells nothing. It was just a few years old, low mileage and great price. Hey, I was in love with this vehicle. Yes indeed, Mr Lane Justice was going to make a sale that day. So the beginning, he gave me his telephone phone if I had any questions. It was after the test drive; I had parked started yo turn vehicle and I was smelling smoke. He said, it probably was the oil, because you know places do the oil changes. He said, well I will not sell it in this condition. He was so concerned. He said, he was going to talk the manager that looks at the cars, all while was here. So he was not shady. He said, in a day or two he would get in touch with me, okay two days had passed nothing and the second to the last day, he was off but told his trusted co-worker everything about the situation and that he would take care of everything. No one called to say the smoke smell had been checked and I could come in and do the paperwork. You know his TRUSTED COWORKER had sold the car while Mr Lane Justice was off. He said, no one had contacted him on his day off. I would never recommend Loyalty Nissan in Chester, Va But, if you ever stop by there. I truly recommend Lane Justice to talk to. Ge should gave gotten a raise and trophy; because he went way and beyond. A true characteristic charm of a sales rep. Then, the coworker had the audacity to show me other vehicles that were small like teens get when they start driving. How you trying to make another sale and you sold the one I wanted. I purchased a 2015 Chevy Equanox last month. Prior to purchasing it, I test drove and noticed a few things that needed attention. There was A vibration when traveling at 65 mph and up, there was also a noise that was detectable when applying the brakes and the front bumper needed to have some clips replaced as it was not securely attached on the passenger side. I know that there are risks that you take when purchasing a used vehicle but I was led to believe that the issues could and would be repaired by the service department, so I scheduled an appointment. When I took my car i. I requested for the service technician to ride with me so I could point out my concerns. First my request was not honored, then I was told that the bumper couldn't be repaired and that the tires were out of round, which was supposedly causing the vibration however, when I took it to Discount Tire the said that the wheels were out balance. I asked if there was anything wrong with the tires and the response was no issues was the tires being out of round. The service technician at Loyalty Nissan said that he fixed the problem that was making the noise when applying the brakes, which he didn't! The noise is still present and seems to be getting worse. So basically none of the issues that I had taken my vehicle there to have resolved were corrected! Then I was told by a service representative that I would have to pay out of my own pocket to have the bumper repaired donce it was bought as is. I asked why none of these issues were addressed before the vehicle was put on the lot to be sold. Her response, "we do the bare minimum to get vehicle to pass inspection. " Then I received a text message from Loyalty Nissan asking how I was satisfied with the service at my last visit to which I replied with the following: I am totally unsatisfied with service or lack there of! The guy that supposedly worked my vehicle did not fix any of the issues that I brought it in for. I was told that the tires were out of round, which they were only out of balance which I had to take it to Discount Tire to have that issue resolved. The guy said that he had fixed the problem with noise when I apply my brakes which he didn't if anything it's gotten worse! The bumper that I was told by the salesman that the service department could fix was not repaired, the guy said that he couldn't put clips on it due to a part being missing. So I was told that since the vehicle was used it was bought as is and that I would have to pay to have it repaired, which was not what I was told by the sales person! I was told that it was recommended when I purchased the vehicle that the rotors needed to be resurfaced, yet I don't recall anything about the rotors being mentioned when I purchased it. The only thing that was done was an alignment. So as of right now my satisfaction nor my confidence in the service department is lacking. I am putting the word out to everyone on yelp about the poor service that I received. Not to mention that I was told by a service representative that they only do the bare minimum to fix used automobiles in order to pass state inspection. If that is what you are putting on your lot to sale to customers who you want to have as repeat customers is not good enough!!! My advice to anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle is; don't go to Loyalty Nissan! I gave it a 1 star rating however it doesn't even deserve that!!! read more

I recently had a pre-purchase inspection done on a used 2010 Volvo V50. The inspection turned up $2610.69 worth of recommended repairs including Control Arm failure which could be felt when driving the vehicle. The mechanic said this was an immediate safety concern. I brought this up with the dealer who refused to budge on the original price and told me they would just sell to someone who did not know about the issues, which they eventually did. Disappointing business practices to say the least. Do yourself a favor and ALWAYS pay for a pre-purchase inspection before buying. read more

I called Loyalty to make an appointment, I spoke with someone and ask would they honor my Lifetime VIP from the Nissan Dealer when I bought my car new in 2014. I was told yes. I get to the appointment they did the work and charged my spouse a $125 for the oil change and tire rotation. Then they try to tell me no one told that at that location. I told Rebecca this is the number I called and after asking for a manager. She hung the phone up on me. My first and last. I will continue to Hart's Nissan in Mechanicsville, VA.
