The Perico Wrap consisting of scrambled Eggs with Avocado, Cheese, Tomato, and Green Onions, all wrapped in a Flour Tortilla: Served with a side of French Fries. This wrap was so good, you can add protein if you desire but the basic ingredients were plenty for me. The Calentado de la Casa Rice and Beans mix, Steak, and Eggs (any style) was very flavorful. The plantains were prepared just right. The Blackberry & sour sop juices/smoothies were good and refreshing on a hot day. Lots of TVs/Screens so would be a great place to watch sports. The patio looks so cool but it was super stormy and hot, so not great outdoor weather. I recommend making a reservation for weekends. The vibe is cool inside but I did not care for the strobe lights. The blue lights kept shining directly in my eyes so I had to switch seats with someone at my table and make them deal with it. A little bit strange for brunch. Expectations were low as we have eaten at many Latin American, specifically Colombian restaurants in the past. First, it's a big location and the atmosphere is one that I would describe as eclectic. There are indoor and outdoor areas to eat. We stayed indoors due to the rain. There were projectors, a large tv screen and even a disco ball inside. I felt like I was in a night club but the atmosphere felt comfortable. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. I went with the Calentado entree and my wife selected the Pandebono Benedict. We shared a mango juice. Yummy! And I love the crispiness and flavor the chicharon (hope I spelled that right). I also got an arepa with melted cheese. So good. The prices were extremely reasonable and it seemed very popular due to the amount of people visiting. The staff was polite, friendly and explained the menu thoroughly. What a wonderful experience from start to finish! When we arrived for brunch the parking lot was full and there were folks in line. Once I made my way to the host, I was greeted warmly and was asked to wait just a moment. I was a bit early for my reservation. The smell of the coffee made the wait completely enjoyable. I have been wanting to try this place out and I am so glad I did. I got the Spanish Latte and the Club Sandwich for lunch. The Spanish latte has espresso, milk, orange essence, and cinnamon in it. It was my first time having it and it was amazing! The coffee had a light hint of orange that went really well with the cinnamon. The sandwich was toasted with butter to perfection and the saltiness of the ham, the crispiness of the bacon, and the tanginess from the green tomatoes all went well together. Before I knew it, I had eaten the whole thing, still wanting more. We ordered the Cafe con Leche (with sug ). It's not really a Cafe con leche, but it was delicious. So, just don't expect the traditional cafe con leche. And the espresso at the end was so yummy. I absolutely loved that they served sparkling water with the espresso. The service was good. Was it out of this world? Well, the staff was attentive and personable. You can sit where you like, and since my party had yet to arrive, they were totally cool with me taking a seat. The space is beautiful and relaxing. Would never expect to find it off of Armenia. I brought my kids since they love to go to the columbian cafes and get some fresh pan de Bono's. Here they press them into mini waffles and served with syrup. My kids really enjoyed. Their empanadas were cooked excellent and the sauces served with were delicious. We didn't have the best service on this trip as the waitress was slammed with a large table. So we didn't get to order anything else or try anything else. My son enjoyed his arepa but I do wish there was more meat. I'm used to a stuffed Venezuelan arepa, so this looked inadequate. Besides the poor service on this visit we enjoyed ourselves and can see why people enjoy coming here. They have a gorgeous patio and outdoor area.
