Colombia district! I've been here twice, once on a week day and once on a weekend (for brunch). During my weekend visit, I made a reservation. It was really busy but the host sat us right away. Pro tip: sit outside if the weather is nice. It's beautiful and the vibes are fun. There are roosters running around! There is one clearly labeled vegan item on the menu, which made me very happy. I will say, the quality of the food wasn't as good on the weekend as it was during my previous visit (week day). Overall though, this is an awesome spot and I hope it stays. read more

This Colombian breakfast restaurant is a hidden gem. The flavors were rich. The tinto coffee and cafe con leche were smooth, and paired perfectly with the meal. Honestly I wanted to love this place. I heard so many good things but I would honestly never return. To start our server was not attentive at all, she also forgot to add avocado on my bowl & instead of just saying "oh I'm sorry, I misheard you" she repeatedly said "you said no avocado" & I would never do that lol. I love avocado. Secondly the flavors of the food was pretty good, however I noticed after eating almost all of my chicken that it was uncooked. SO I hope I don't get salmonella or food poisoning of sum sort. The wait & the service was not worth the food. If you dare to try it out, try it on a slow day & double check your chicken. read more

Came for first time and whoa was I surprised. Let's start with the chill and cool vibe, especially the patio. And the food was delicious. I loved their many options and most likely will order something different each time I come--I will be back! The smoothie juice was delicious. Not too sweet. Did NOT expect to be visiting Colombia before I walked into this place. I tagged along with my husband & Im so glad I did. I got a soursop drink, an expresso, & a steak & eggs meal. Everything was delicious ! I have had expressos before but I never had sparkling water with it to cleanse my palate. The sparkling water was so refreshing with it. The staff was amazing & apparently a lot of people frequent this place! I will definitely be coming back & recommend it to others. read more

We were told wait would be an hour midday Sunday; ended up being about 30 minutes. Ambiance was great especially to watch world cup games. Service was a little slow (apps came out about 2 minutes before main dish) but it was incredibly busy so I understand. I felt like I was back in Colombia by coming to Lpcx Cafe. It was truly a pleasant experience and I can't wait to come back. The food was so delicious. The Perico Wrap consisting of scrambled Eggs with Avocado, Cheese, Tomato, and Green Onions, all wrapped in a Flour Tortilla: Served with a side of French Fries. This wrap was so good, you can add protein if you desire but the basic ingredients were plenty for me. The Calentado de la Casa Rice and Beans mix, Steak, and Eggs (any style) was very flavorful. The plantains were prepared just right. The Blackberry & sour sop juices/smoothies were good and refreshing on a hot day. Lots of TVs/Screens so would be a great place to watch sports. Nice size parking lot to serve its patrons. They are having an event on June 22nd from 1 to 9 pm and I am planning to go back because of my initial experience. I've been wanting to come here for a while but just never made it a priority. Today was the day. I took my fiancé out for brunch and we don't regret it. First for a starter we had the pandebono waffles. Who ever knew pandebono, powdered sugar and syrup is so good? Then what I ordered is in the video I posted. The ambiance was really nice. Absolutely amazing food! It's so hard to find places that season food properly and everything here is perfectly salted and so delicious. The patio looks so cool but it was super stormy and hot, so not great outdoor weather. I recommend making a reservation for weekends. The vibe is cool inside but I did not care for the strobe lights. The blue lights kept shining directly in my eyes so I had to switch seats with someone at my table and make them deal with it. A little bit strange for brunch. There was a screaming child that was screaming in a very high pitched scream every couple of seconds the entire time they were there, which is definitely not the restaurant's fault, but it made for a super unpleasant experience. read more

I wanted to enjoy the place as it has several things working for it. The ambiance was really cool as we sat out in the back area. The amount of seating was a lot more than I'd expect and it was great. However, I don't go out for just the ambiance. The food looked good, however, it did not taste that way. It wasn't hot so I believe it had been sitting out a while. And the flavors didn't wow me. On top of that there was a long wait as there wasn't enough servers and they were stretched thin. read more

We came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and it was so nice! We had a reservation around 10 and it was perfect because it wasn't too busy. It got busy right as we were leaving so I'd suggest getting there before 11ish. The food was amazing and I really recommend the pandebono waffles. The service was good too we got our food pretty fast and it all went smoothly. The outside is also really pretty and decorated with lots of plants. There's also little chickens that run around which is so cute. I highly recommend! read more

Love it! Such a vibe and a hidden gem. I've lived in Tampa for 14 years and finally discovered Lpcx. The coffee is terrific, the food is unique, and you cannot beat the beauty patio oasis that is dog and kid friendly. The prices are fair and the parking is easy. It has become a regular spot for me. One tip is to go early or make a reservation because it gets packed after 10am. read more

Thanks to an instagram video review, we went yesterday. Great food! I had the pan de bono waffles and tostones with chicken and cheese. Chef's kiss! I can't wait to go back and try the other items. Parking is a small issue, gets crazy busy after noon, open til 3pm. They do take reservations, otherwise you will have a 30 min to 1 hr wait. (It's worth it!) read more

Thanks to my husbands TikTok food porn obsession we found this place. We loved the atmosphere and ambiance. Brian our server was attentive and although they were busy everything came out in a timely manner. I'm in LOVE with their Spanish latte. I feel like I will be dreaming about it till I make it back. The Paisa bowl was good but probably won't get again. I am an eggs Benedict fanatic and although the cheesy sauce threw me off I still enjoyed it and would get again. The photos, outdoor seating, and unique atmosphere immediately caught our attention, so we had to see what all the hype was about. From the moment we arrived, we loved the rustic outdoor setting. One of the most unique parts of the experience was the chickens and roosters roaming around the property--it gave the café a fun, laid-back charm that made brunch feel like a little getaway. Since it was our first visit, we ordered several dishes to share: the Empanadas, Tostones Mixtos, Pandebono Waffles, Chicharrón Picado, and the Paisa Bowl. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Pandebono Waffles were unlike anything we've had before, the Chicharrón Picado was crispy and full of flavor, and the Paisa Bowl was hearty, filling, and packed with authentic Colombian flavors. We traveled from North Ocala to Tampa specifically to try LPCX Cafe, excited for the experience. The wait for a table was reasonable, but unfortunately, the service and food didn't meet our expectations. Our server never introduced herself or took the time to explain the menu, which was important since most dishes had additional upcharges that weren't mentioned upfront. After an unexpectedly long wait, our food finally arrived--but it was cold. That was disappointing, especially given the premium pricing. On the positive side, we did notice that the team communicated well and supported each other, which is always great to see in a restaurant setting. Overall, LPCX Cafe has potential, but there are key areas that need improvement--mainly in service efficiency, menu transparency, and food quality. We can hardly find words to describe how amazing EMP is. We have been to many restaurants that is ranked high on different "best restaurant lists" but we have to say that this is the ONE. The first time at EMP was about 7-8 years ago and we have been there a total of 7 times (we live in Sweden so it´s not just next door :)) We said it right after our first time (and every time after that) and we will keep saying that this restaurant is going to be named the number 1 in the world. They climb well deserved on the most important list (top50) and made it to number 10 this year. But you all just wait and see...... soon it will be 1. The best meal we had in Toronto during our visit was at Tampa's on University. Unbelievable flavor, quality - can't say enough about their pizza. It was without a doubt the best pizza we've ever had. The crust was crispy and blistered and soft in the middle - perfect. The mozzarella and tomato sauce also delicious. Homemade chilli oil bottles on the table - a few drops and your pizza is amplified. You can purchase the oil to take home. Small is $3.00 and large oil is $5.00. Decor was clean and modern.
