BROKE 47' FLAT SCREEN TV!!! You know what I really hate to do this to a small business but fair is fair. I contacted this company and talked with Dave who insured me that they would take care of me. And from what I could see they did the movers worked hard and fast, except for a guy named Lee. But when I got to my new place and began to look closely at my furniture I notice my dinning room table was all scratched up and worst of all my my 47' VIZIO television screen was cracked. I called Dave and told him about my television and sent him pictures he was nice about it at first and we agreed on a fair amount of money for reimbursement of my TV. However, when it came time for Dave to pay it he went missing. An has yet to settle his debt with me. At this point I plan to sue this company and Dave for damages. read more

If I could give minus stars, I would. I wish I'd thought of consulting Yelp prior to working with Dave. He sent two movers, one who had no experience, caused expensive damage and supposedly didn't tell Dave though I wouldn't bet on that. Dave promised to make good on multiple occasions and scheduled appointments with ME but didn't ever show! He was unreachable during and after each missed appointment. Repeatedly asked me for items to take in my garage that weren't mine, and started stealing things belonging to my housemates (after literally asking "can I have X?"). Whatever happened to "I'm sorry?" Six months after my move was finished, Mr. Tomei insists on re-opening my review with a further post. My post, and and my boyfriend's, consisted of comments relating to the move. We both stand by our initial posts - from Dave mis-gauging the size of the truck needed to the fact that many of our things arrived crushed, chipped, dented, etc. Dave's responses, by contrast, consist of personal attacks against us. According to Dave, we are hateful people, bigotry and bias exist in us, I clearly have problems, and we are "Hitler Youth", among other things. C'mon. Even if we were Hitler Youth (which we are not), there was no clause in the contract saying that makes it ok for our things to arrive trashed. Dave's posts have never addressed the substance of our concerns, much less offered an apology. If you want to know what sort of business owner he is, you don't need to read my review or anyone else's - good or bad. Just read what Dave writes. read more

So here it is a year after my move, and all the subsequent reviews (once you weed out the forgeries) all play the same tune: the team at LT moving are only slightly less inept at the moving business than the people who built the Chernobyl reactor were at safety standards. No customer satisfaction, no resolution, no return of missing items, no respect, no communication - doesn't it all add up to no good reason for Tomei and company to be allowed to conduct any sort of business? Legitimate complaints are met with bizarre personal attacks - truly the last refuge of someone who has been caught red-handed at their own incompetence. And of course, the whole team backs away into a cowardly little corner when called out. Dear Yelp readers: you are quite better off moving by yourself or, certainly, spending the money on actual professionals who behave like adults. BUYER/HONEST CONSUMERS BEWARE!! This company and primarily the "owner", Dave is nothing short of a straight-up thief! Over the past year, "Dave" has done some small moves/pickups/ handyman-type work for us. The work was satisfactory and "Dave" was compensated for his labor. Earlier this week, we contacted Dave to pick up some furniture we had purchased in Alsip. Due to our previous dealings with "Dave", we felt he was completely trust worthy to handle the job. To make a long story short, we gave "Dave" $400 (300 furniture/100 him) with the promise that he would pick up said items at a certain time the next day. I don't write reviews often, but LT Moving deserves all the positive reviews it can get. If I could rate this 10 stars, I would. Having never used movers before and having heard many horror stories about 'shady movers' around town, I was a bit nervous when I found Dave Tomei and LT Moving. Their pricing was unbeatable, and Dave's flexibility and willingness to help us out in any way he could really seemed too good to be true. It wasn't. We were in a bit of a bind since we were about a week and a half out from the move without a set move date & time, moving company, and truck rental. The original moving company we contacted couldn't meet our planned move times, but recommended that we call Dave. Dave was very flexible and helpful from the very first moment, sticking with us and changing his schedule as our move day/time seemed to change every other day. Since we were a week out and still without a truck, Dave recommended I call Brock @ Chicagoland Truck Rental. Brock and CTR was great, had a great truck for a great price, and he guaranteed that it'd be there when we needed it (as a plus, he and Dave both offered to store the truck for us overnight if we needed to do a 2 day move). In the end, the 3 guys that showed up to do the job were on time, very nice, professional, and very careful. Dave even had them pick up and return the truck for us since he knew we were in for a long and stressful day. What seemed too good to be true was amazingly good, and true. Thank you so much for your help Dave! Will definitely be using you in the future and recommending you to everyone we know that moves (will save my back from having to help all my friends move too!) read more

We just moved yesterday and I had to stop and write a review for LT Movers because they were fabulous - even my picky husband was impressed! ;) Don't let them scare you in the beginning, they are not a huge company with switchboard operators, etc like some of the other moving companies. (I had called about 6 to get estimates). However, that is actually the best part about them. You are dealing with a business owner (David) that cares. They called us to confirm the day before and David the owner even showed up at the job site to check in. The three moving guys were great, SUCH hard workers and very nice! All in all, our move was quick and painless thanks to them, and their fees are very reasonable. I highly recommend them! read more

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!! Had everything set up for several weeks with them. Confirmed 3 days prior and confirmed again the night before. Dave said they would be there. They never showed up. We called dozens of times and every call went to voicemail. Finally, about 3 hours after they were supposed to arrive, they showed up. At that point my son in law and his friends had already loaded the entire house into the truck, and we had gotten people lined up at the other end, to unload. Cannot believe Dave doesn't even have the courtesy to return even one of our phone calls. Not a good way to run a business. Shows me just how shady they are. Man up, Dave. Friends and I have used David's moving company a number of times and every time they are on time, friendly and fast. You really can't get better movers for the money. I would TOTALLY use them again and would recommend them to friends. Side note, I called another moving company when I was comparing prices and schedules, the minute they asked me if my third story building had an elevator, I knew I'd get a high quote. I was satisfied with using LT Moving the first time I used them. Took them 6 hours to move a 2 bedroom condo with three men, one of them being one of the partners of the company. I recommended them to friends who used them. They had an okay experience with them. The 2nd time was a whole different story. They showed up 2 hours late with excuse after excuse on why they were late. They did not bring wardrobe boxes as promised. I had less stuff to move the 2nd time around and it took 8 hours to move 2 blocks away. When unpacking, I discovered furniture piece upon furniture piece that was damaged during the move. I called David T 5 times and he still doesn't have the decency to call back. Suffice to say that, my opinion of LT Moving has changed. David is great when scheduling the move but heaven help you if something goes wrong. He won't face up to problems or issues at all. read more

And it's barely one star, at that. The only reason he gets one star? All of our stuff DID arrive. In great condition? Eh, not so much. We needed to move across country - something Dave says he does - and decided on Dave for two reasons: 1) because the movers that we'd used in the past weren't available, and 2) because Dave had a number of good reviews and (at the time) no bad ones. Or maybe the bad ones were all filtered, and we didn't see them. Either way, we should have - and will if we ever need a mover again - hired someone else. I don't have the time - and you don't have the patience, I'm sure - to read a blow-by-blow description of what happened after we'd picked a move date. But here it is in a nutshell: Dave never showed, even though he said he'd be the guy doing the move. Instead, he sent four other guys - who arrived in 3 shifts - to move us out. Not only that, they 1) arrived in a truck that was too small for all of our stuff, and 2) didn't make any effort to inventory what they were loading. Why is that important, you ask? Well.. Truck number two showed up later, and whatever wasn't put in truck number one went into number two. And then they left, headed back to 'Dave's Place,' whatever that means. Since it was late, we figured they'd leave the next a.m. Nope. First, they would unload both trucks, shift things around, and re-load the trucks. So stuff that started out in truck number one wound up in truck number two, and vice versa. Oh, and things which started out together got separated. Even better, truck number one left two or three days ahead of truck number two, so our stuff arrived in two shifts. Fortunately, my girlfriend had moved long distances before, and had made notes on what was where, which was insanely helpful later. Dave had promised our stuff would all be shrink-wrapped. Uh, no, it wasn't. Even worse, things like the dresser were disassembled, and no care taken with regard to things like screws. You know, those little things that help keep the mirror on the dresser? You've seen pictures. Yeah, they all pretty much disappeared. We found some on the floor of the truck (#1) a few days later, but mostly they're gone. Other stuff arrived chipped, dented, covered in dirt & dust, or just plain trashed. Boxes? Well, the ones that arrived intact barely outnumbered the ones that arrived torn, smashed or worse. Of course, the expensive printer wound up in one of those 'or worse' boxes. The other printer wasn't even boxed or wrapped or anything - they just loaded it on the truck. The unloading was worse. Truck #1 arrived with two guys who'd driven it cross-country. Four guys had loaded it, two unloaded. Truck #2 had four guys - if you count Dave's AARP-aged brothers, who mostly sat around talking. Otherwise, it was two 20-somethings who'd answered an ad on Craigslist, and had never before done this. And probably won't again, after Cheap Dave paid them a whopping $60 total for over four hours of work. Let's see, $60 divided by two, divided by four....hell, Wal-Mart pays better. Even more annoying? Truck #2 arrived a day early, or a week late, depending on your viewpoint. Ours is the latter, and it forced us to cancel a planned trip. Not cool. The best was yet to come, though. Dave had a kicker in his contract that allowed him to up the fee by 10% for increases in fuel costs, which he did - despite the fact that fuel costs had actually DROPPED in the interim. Smooth. Didn't work, but smooth. And the piece de resistance came when my girlfriend expressed her disappointment, particularly based on Dave's Yelp reviews. Dave's response? "I don't use Yelp. I don't pay attention to it at all." Uh, Dave, you responded to someone, so...that's not true. But I shouldn't be surprised. It's consistent with the rest of the move - overpromise and underdeliver. Zero stars at this point. Ordered movers for 11 today and they still have not shown up (it's 415). I received one text at 1PM from David that they would be here by 2PM due to being delayed with an earlier move. But I'm still waiting and no one is returning my calls or texts. Help! read more

I also wish I could give no stars to LT moving. I had a 5pm moving scheduled with them on Saturday night since they already had a move scheduled during the day. Unfortunately they never showed up nor answered/returned any of my calls/emails. Since this was the last day I had my apartment and I was moving from Chicago to Ann Arbor I had to get an extension on my apartment and scramble Sunday morning to find someone that could move me asap. I have yet to hear back from Dave and his team on why they never showed up or even bothered to let me know they would not be able to make it. Trust me, pay a little more and get a reputable and reliable moving company! read more

I went with Dave Tomei because he seemed so professional on the phone. Even though I'd given Dave the exact measurements of the armoire, the two movers he sent spent over an hour trying to get the one piece into their truck. They kept trying to call Dave for advice. Eventually, they figured out how to get the piece in the truck. We'd moved a house full of furniture the month before, and this was amateur hour compared with the other team we'd just used. Unfortunately, when the movers arrived at the other end of the move, the armoire was CRACKED. The movers admitted that something happened (we think the furniture must have been DROPPED). The movers and I both tried calling Dave, but couldn't get him. When I finally talked to Dave, he suggested that I hire a furniture repairman, and emailed: "You just make sure the armoire is fixed to your satisfaction. And if it cant be fixed I will buy you another one." Good news, right? I researched furniture repairmen and hired the lowest price option to fix the armoire. I emailed Dave in mid-July to tell him the total ($150) and request reimbursement. After no response, I emailed him again in mid-August. It's now been TWO MONTHS AND NO RESPONSE. While it's possible something's happened to Dave (I hope not as he seemed like a gentleman) or the check got lost in the mail, I'm afraid that the most likely outcome is that he's either forgotten to live up to his commitment or has decided not to live up to his commitment. Either way, I'm stuck with an armoire that isn't quite right, along with an unexpected repair bill. Bottom line - - No matter how much of a professional Dave appears to be, the movers he sent didn't know what they're doing. They couldn't manage to deliver one piece of furniture safely. And, if you have any problems, there's no assurance that things will be fixed. I have to give one star and suggest you STAY FAR AWAY. I hated having to write this as I like to think the best of people and Dave seemed like a stand up guy, despite the incompetence of his movers. This is a follow-up to David's response below. As you can see, he did not even address the fact that he has not reimbursed me for the treadmill repair ($85). Just send the check David and all will be done. Also, i did NOT tip the movers in NYC $50 each-in fact, I gave them less than $20 each and it was only because I felt pressured to at the very end. I did give the movers in Alabama $50 each, because they completely deserved it. As you can see in the original review, I did not bring up any issues in Alabama, because there weren't any with the movers who unloaded the truck. The issue is with David being unprofessional and not reimbursing me. After calling and emailing for 2 1/2 months and never receiving a response, and then finally when I post a bad review, he responds with the most generic answer possible and doesn't even address the issue at hand. If you read through his responses to other bad reviews, they basically say the same thing each time. So clearly, David avoids the issue with each customer that has a problem. David, have some integrity and please send the check. Thank you. read more

DON'T BE FOOLED. I had a move out of Chicago but within IL. At first, David seemed very professional and easy to deal with. Then the morning of my move he tells me that my stuff is going on a large truck with other things he is driving to CA. I think you should tell a customer this before. Anyway: 1) His Chicago movers tore up my cleaned bathroom so I had to clean after them again before I could return my keys 2) They also broke a lamp and didn't tell David (according to him) 3) None of my curtain rods showed up to my new place 4) Between Chicago and my new place, someone ripped my leather loveseat and TAPED over the rip so that I wouldn't notice it. How FOOLISH do you have to be to do that?? I noticed it immediately the loveseat was unloaded. David was super apologetic and took pictures of the loveseat and told me how he would file an insurance claim for the stuff. He gave me his card and asked me to email him to start the process. CRICKETS. I've emailed him twice and called and he has yet to contact me. I totally regret tipping him as I now see he is just a talker. The Interstate was a madhouse the day I moved due to accidents and road closures, and we were both on the road for double the time the trip should have taken. I actually felt bad for him. And guess what? When he left, he asked me to give him a good review on yelp! To not contact me after that shows how ridiculous this company is. If you use this company, just PRAY your stuff gets there with no issues. As to Dave's comments on my review: 1) I told you personally that I told them to throw the lamp away after they broke it. What was I to do? Move the unusable broken lamp? Are you serious? I TOLD you that. 2) Your guys had clear tape. Gimme a break dude. They used clear tape on my plastic storage cubes. And I didn't INSPECT the stuff on the truck. I watched my stuff while they were loading because they asked me to - to guard against theft. HOW IRONIC that you then "steal" from me. You are a joker. Responding to yelp instead of having the balls to say this crap to my face or answer a phone call or email. I found this company of Craigslist. I needed to move about 1 and 1/3rd person's things. I talked to Dave and told them I had to move out that day. I told him my location and destination and he assured me that they could do it- in fact he said it'd be easy because he has a crew heading back from a job, and passing close to my place. Then we discussed price. Dave stated 75/hour for 2 movers. Dave and I agreed on 50/ hour for 2 movers, but I'd pay an additional 50 for the truck. This would mean that a longer day would be a bit less, but the first 2 hours would be the same-$150. In fact I guaranteed him the minimum 150. It seemed like 3 hours of work for 3 people (including me), and that's what it turned out to be with another company. Do that math-with the new rate they'd miss out on $25- whoopie doo! Moving is very stressful, especially when trying to move in a few short days. This was the last day I could move so I made in total about 4 calls to be sure I was going to get the service I was promised within the starting time frame and so forth. The movers showed up 1/2 hour past the time range which was agreed upon. Early on I said I appreciated something like their coming out on short notice and one said "take care of us", indicating he wants a tip. I was going to see if they were going to lose, steal or break anything, so I didn't agree to a tip. I had previously color coded many boxes so when they get to the destination, they could place them into the room belonging to that color. They looked at each other and seemed offended about that. About 20 minutes in, after my stuff was about 15% loaded one mover brought up price- that it's going to be 75/hour. I disagreed and brought up the rate earlier agreed upon. They both got mad and said the advertised price is non-negotiable, but I explained it was already negotiated. I called Dave and not only did not he answer, he did not return the message...ever. One mover said it'd be a 4 hour move. Yes- if EVERYTHING was moved, but I compromised and then many times assured them I could move some small stuff later. I told them to call the owner to get the original agreement. One said "We're co-owners!" indicating they can make decisions on the spot. They argued- yelling, with neighbors hearing everything. It seemed like a scam. Here's the scam: They demand a minimum and when they can't get under the 2 hours in which their minimum would make it more profitable, they looked for a way out. They didn't care at that point. One demanded a rate of 200 per hour. When I didn't agree, the movers then decided to unload everything onto the grass and leave. Anyway, it was not their place and well after the time to negotiate. I ended up paying probably $75 more for an emergency move with a different company. So I should have paid them 75? Wrong: The owner agreed and they broke the agreement. It was last minute, so I should have agreed? Wrong: You don't take advantage of people in circumstances. Anyway, only a reimbursement for the extra $75 I paid to a different company would make things right with me, enough for me to remove this post. To the owners-if you still have my number from 11/20/14, call me, I'll accept any reimbursement for the mess you put me in by either removing this post or post again with praise about correction. Blackmail? Wrong: Compensation...... for breaking a contract and the monetary loss I incurred in extra money. read more

I've surprised to see the negative reviews. It's unimaginable, really, and impels one to wonder whether there is a vendetta at work here. Three times I have moved with David's crew and it went from great to even greater service over time. David is very communicative. His rates are very, very reasonable. His guys work hard without pause yet always with a (charming toothless) smile. Today my condo building screwed up and double-booked the freight elevator; my movers from LT actually pitched in and helped the other crew unload so we could save time, and in turn my money. I wish I could tell you how David and his team performs, because that would mean that they actually did the move. Unfortunately, they just failed to show up. No call, no show, no explanation. I'm not exactly sure how he plans to stay in business with a reputation for creating such an inconvenience for his "customers." UPDATE: I've revised my review. David explained the circumstances for failing to show up later that day. He rescheduled the move at my convenience later in the week, and ended up charging considerably less than originally agreed. This was our first time using David's moving company. They were on time, very professional, friendly and efficient. They treated our belongings as their own. They moved us in incredible heat and never once slowed down or complained. We were moved from Chicago to Elk Grove in just under 3 hours! Incredible. We will definitely use them again. My boyfriend and I moved in together yesterday and David and his team were an amazing help! It was a very smooth move, done professional and efficiently. We could not have done it without them! My boyfriend and I each moved from our apartments with roommates, in to our two bedroom apartment together yesterday. We decided to do both moves in one day to expedite the process. I shopped around a few quotes and decided on David only a couple days before the move (my planning skills need work...). He was great throughout the entire communication process, responding promptly and very helpful. The day of, I was actually not present for the move. My boyfriend had the day off, so he (like the gem of a man he is) did the move for me. I kept in contact with him throughout the move because moving stresses me out and I was so anxious just to get it done. They started at my apartment (South Loop) and two movers arrived promptly at 11am. David himself even called about a half hour before they arrived to confirm the addresses and offer his help if anything was needed. My apartment had a freight elevator & a loading dock that I had reserved, so it was a smooth process. I have a queen bed and three old maple dressers that they moved expertly. The next stop was my boyfriend's place (Wicker Park/Humbolt Park) where they loaded everything in from the alley behind his building. His place was a 2 story walk up, but they still got him moved out in 45 minutes. He only had a full bed and boxes. The last stop was our new place (Logan Square) that is a 2 story walk up, where they had to load from the back alley with only a narrow back staircase to move things. This part took and hour and a half but that is totally understandable since it was not the easiest unloading situation. The whole move took 5 hours and cost under $500 including tip, which I think is a great deal and a good time considering they moved things from 10 miles away. They were very nice and professional and took great care of mine and my boyfriend's things. Even after they had placed everythng in the new place and the paperwork was signed, they moved a couple tv stands that we wanted to switch around. I try calling back one hour later which I thought was being generous with allowing for traffic and guess what neither Dave or his workers will take my call. Are you kidding me???? To say this was the worst experience I've ever had with a service provider would be a major understatement. It all started when my doctor recommended this crew to me - apparently they've helped him and his family move several times before, and it's always been a good experience. But for some odd reason, it seems that this company just picks and chooses the customers they will treat well, and with the rest of the customers....well, you can read some of the reviews here and see for yourself. In our case, he wasn't rude or aggressive (as evidenced by some of the other examples on Yelp), but he simply refused to provide us a service that he had COMMITTED to. We hired him to move our stuff on June 30th, since we had to be out of the apartment then, and to move it into our new place on July 1st. The time we had scheduled with him was 6 PM, and my roommate spoke to him on the phone several times throughout the day. When 6 PM hits, he doesn't show up... 7 PM, still no movers... 3 hours later, between my roommate and myself we had left him over 30 missed calls and multiple voicemails. He NEVER answered his phone or replied to any of our messages. 7 days later, he still hasn't even had the decency to call us back and apologize for NOT SHOWING UP and for leaving us stuck without a mover, scrambling to find another company at the last minute (I mean REALLY last minute... 10 PM on the night when we were supposed to be out of our apartment), and risking us paying a ridiculous fee to our landlord due to our inability to be out of our place on 6/30. Luckily, I was able to find another company that came by early on July 1st, and they took care of our move. I am international student who comes to US for study. I hired David to move all mine and my girlfriend's stuff from Chicago to Virginia. Everything seems to be smooth; he came to my place to estimate the price with gentle and friendly. After that are all nightmares. On deliver date, August14, David sent me an email to tell me that delivery truck got a serious accident and insurance company would claim money back for my lost inventories. I trust him and always contact him for any further info. Everything seems not to be in progress. I keep contact David since then but he rarely contacts me back. One month later, I thought I have to contact insurance by myself. I asked him for contact info but he texts me some info, which unable to contact insurance company. In addition, that SMS is last thing I hear from David. Every times, I have to leave him a message. Up until now I still can't contact David in any ways. Now is two month since he is supposed to deliver our stuff. I lost all stuff in mine and my girlfriend's life, everything from sock to mattress. Moreoever, he promised me to return my luggage back on September 23, but he had never showed up. I hope this message might bring your concern about David Tomei's responsibility. So I'll say right off the bat that EVERYONE at LT Moving is very friendly and cordial. Dave is great and quick to reply and accomodate. They are incredibly affordable and the three guys who moved us were efficient and fast and courteous. BUT (you knew it was coming) they were 3 hours late and didn't really make any effort to get in touch with us about when to expect them. The Aug 31/Sept 1st weekend is a nortiously insane weekend for moving. Dave (the owner?) had taken a long haul job out of town and left someone in charge of dispatch who maybe should not have been given that responsibility...yadda yadda yadda they were 3 hours late. It's possible that if The Boss were around none of that would have happened, and because they really were very nice and (when they finally got there) did a hell of a job I give them three stars instead of 2...or 4 for that matter. read more

They started out well they communication of them coming late which was fine. But my 11 am time went to 3 pm time and it took 5 plus hours to move a 1 bedroom 1st floor apartment to another that was around the block should have only took a few hours. But the worst part that I should give this company a negative star is that once I got all my stuff out the boxes and bags I realize I had items missing that I packed up myself. Excellent. I have used David's movers twice. On both occasions, they were early, friendly, and professional - throughout the move - not only at the beginning of the move. I am not the happiest camper on moving day and both crews not only put with me, but were nice about it. They went out of their way to move two couches that were in the basement outside of the move and not a complaint. Very good! read more

I moved from Chicago in Feb 2011 to Texas because my daughter was transfered to a hospital in Houston. I didnt not recieve my things until Dec by a completely different moving company. AND I still havent been reimbursted for my front load Samsung Washer/Dryer set or my 22in Rims. After more than a year later and thousands of lies, he still hasnt made good on his word. We scheduled LT for a simple office move (one floor to another) and repeatedly told them that no truck was needed. LT showed up late with a huge truck and couldn't find parking downtown. The moving crew never returned and David stopped answering calls and texts. Completely unprofessional. We ended up calling another moving company. read more

I needed a mover recently and found "First Choice" on craigslist. I called Dave on very short notice (less than 48 hours in advance). He answered the phone right away, not necessitating my having to leave a voice message and waiting in anxiety to have my call returned (as I had done with several other movers over the previous few days, thus, making this "short notice"). To make a long story short, he sent two of his guys over and though they had to call to say they were about 20 minutes behind schedule, they did show up 20 minutes later. They went about their business courteously and efficiently. After unloading the truck, they stayed to help assemble some of our furniture that was new and still in boxes. This was a big relief! I'm glad I didn't have the same experience as many of the other reviewers - I usually look at Yelp before hiring a person - but am happy to report that Dave really showed up for me and his folks did a fine job. I consider him a wonderful resource and wouldn't hesitate to call him again in the future. read more

David and Robert are theives. My brother passed away Nov 2010 in Chicago we knew no one there , had to arrange a funeral empty and move his belongings in the 10 days we were in Chicago before returning to NJ. Afriend of my brother recommended David to do the move. Robert came and gave an estimate and came to move everything . Gave an estimate and then asked for more because he had not estimated the exact amount. I paid him and left for NJ they kept delaying the delivery because of Christmas / New Year/ Snow I should have realised that ment trouble but since David always returned calls I thought all was Ok . He said he was arranging for truck to come to NJ. I got a call that he would deliver on !/17/11 . I got call from David as the truck was leaving Chicago that they forgot to load Sony 60 inch Flat screen TV as it was stored at temp controlled area and would come on next truck. When the truc arrived it was a very small truck half full and when they started to unload I realised a lot of the stuff was not what we had packed. The washer was my brothers Maytag but Dryer was Whirlpool old and dented I refused to accept it. Called David said they only took stuff from one storage unit instead of both. He would send the rest next week. All the expensive stuff was missing a signed Urlacher Jersey framed with football missing carpets his racing Bikes missing , computer music systems all his clothes his kitchen appliances etc etc etc everything to set up house disappeared and he knew this had sentimental value. I filed a police report . He delivered the TV and is still at the Police Station in Chicago . I have few boxes of books from some one else. This man can steal from dead persons he has no morals and lies about everything. I would not recommend him unless you dont want your stuff and just need to get rid of stuff.
