We've had ongoing issues with our SunVault Battery ever since the transition from SunPower's app to…read moreSunStrongConnect. Honestly, it sometimes feels like SunStrong is messing with us, but that's a whole other story. What I can say is that Carlos has been an absolute lifesaver. He's quick to respond, gets our battery back up and running, and most importantly, he takes the time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciate. If you're in the San Diego area and your SunPower warranty is no longer valid due to the bankruptcy, Carlos is the one to call. We were referred to him by our original salesperson, and I'm so grateful for that. I can be a bit of a tough customer, but Carlos always remains calm, patient, and professional. He's not trying to upsell us or push upgrades we don't need--he just focuses on solving the problem. I honestly thought our battery was a lost cause, but Carlos came through when we needed him most.

This review is long time due. In solar installs, the service after years is super important…read more Carlos and team have been excellent and are just a phone call away. They did 2 big solar installs for us - 26KWp and 17KWp. Install experience was good, Roof never leaked. Site was left clean. Very professional & friendly team. Over the last 6+ years at one of the site, they've replaced solaredge micro inverters as some of the parts died. CM solar handled all warranty side with manufacturer and replacement happened with in a reasonable time. Their design is also pretty accurate. We were able to achieve 95%+ offset of the annual bill. Price wise also, CM solar is very competitive. Overall, very pleased and I would highly recommend their services.

I have read most of the comments that have been posted. I did not have any complaints about this company. Everyone was polit, informative and was on schedule. I have been looking for help with my solar system for a while and everyone wants money to diagnose your solar system. It very sad when you buy a solar system with a warranty and then they go out of business. I needed an upgrade and I'm so glad I did it With EnergyAid.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!…read more This was the worst experience I've had with a solar service company. I contacted them because my SolarEdge system stopped working. Before scheduling service, I provided the inverter error code, which indicated that the inverter likely needed repair. However, they told me the issue was not the inverter but an arc fault. Since I'm not a solar technician, I trusted their diagnosis. They inspected my system for $299 and then quoted me $3,500 to repair the issues they identified. After completing the work, the problem was not fixed. It wasn't until their second visit that they finally contacted SolarEdge technical support--a step that, in my opinion, should have been done during the initial diagnosis. SolarEdge then confirmed that the actual problem was a failed inverter and two faulty optimizers, all of which were still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. The technician told me they would send a new quote to install the warranty replacement (RMA) parts. When I received it, they wanted to charge me an additional $4,300 just for the labor to install the warranty-covered inverter and optimizers. That would have brought my total out-of-pocket cost to $7,800, even though the parts themselves were under warranty. I attempted to contact the company several times to discuss both the original $3,500 charge--which did not resolve the problem--and the new $4,300 quote totally the $7,800. Unfortunately, my calls have gone unanswered, and I have not received a response. Because of this experience, I decided not to move forward with them. I found another reputable company with excellent reviews that is completing the same warranty replacement for $1,200 in labor. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I encourage anyone considering their services to get a second opinion and compare labor quotes before authorizing expensive repairs.
