    Middle of the Road

My family and I went to Lu Lou's on a Saturday morning. We arrived around 9:45 and were promptly seated. The restaurant is quaint and attached to Janoskis Farm, with a country feel. Restaurant is very clean. I had the middle of the road as pictured. My breakfast was excellent. My youngest son had chocolate chip pancakes which were very light and tasty, my wife and oldest son enjoyed their meals. Price point is fair, reduction in star is from time to serve. It was over 20 minutes for us to receive our meals and it wasn't very busy. I would definitely return.

This place offered some delicious comfort foods after a long day of hiking at Raccoon Creek! Our server - Kenidi - was polite but failed to make us aware of the specials. I inquired about an item that was on someone's table but not on the menu and was informed that it was today's special. I ordered it, so definitely would have been nice to know upon being seated. The smoked wings were juicy, tender and full of flavor. The hot roast turkey sandwich was everything I hoped it would be! I wish my plate had been served with more mashed potatoes, but the turkey and gravy were very well prepared. I rarely order soda with dinner, but this time I ordered Cherry Pepsi and it paired well with my meal. Thought about having ice cream for dessert, but they were closing up the containers and turning off the case lights at 535pm. Also didn't ask if we were interested in ordering, even though we were both looking at the flavors. The decor is unique. Just focus on how delicious the food is and you'll walk away smiling!

This place is just ok. We were in the area and just so happened to check Yelp and see it was nearby. We went on a Sunday afternoon around 2. We were seated quickly, as the restaurant wasn't very busy. Seems like a place that the locals probably love. The service was lackluster. It felt very rushed. The food came out quickly which was good. I saw another review state that this place was clean. Definitely not, at least by my standards. The dining area where the ice cream station is... the table we sat at had thick cobwebs above it. The fake plants also have cobwebs hanging from them. The wall and window next to our table had dirty child handprints smeared all over. The bathroom was relatively clean, thankfully. The food was just ok. I got a Reuben and my husband got the Joe Joe sandwich. The Joe Joe reminded me a little of a Primanti's sandwich. The Reuben was packed with meat and came out steaming hot, but I was disappointed as there was no thousand island dressing on the sandwich (how can you call it a Reuben without the dressing?). The fries were alright. I was considering trying a scoop of ice cream, but our waitress brought us the check without even asking if we wanted anything else or if we even liked the food we ordered. Overall not impressed, but we would maybe go back if we were in the area and really hungry.

What looks like a hole in the wall dinner is actually of the best places to eat in the area. It's located directly across from Janoski's farm. I didn't expect much when I walked in. But looking at everyone's dish - wow it was a shocker! Everything looked FRESH, clean, and the portions are VERY generous! I got the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was one of the best I ever had. Chicken was cooked to perfection, lettuce crunchy and fresh (the way I like it). My mom got the Rueben and said it's the best she ever had (if you knew her, you would know what a high compliment that is). We didn't order a salad but the tables around us did and they looked delicious so we want to come back to try that. There is seating outdoor on the porch and indoor (mostly indoor). We went for lunch on a Monday afternoon so it wasn't busy. And thank god because there was only one waitress and she was busting her butt to take care of everyone and she excelled at it. Highly recommend!

Love this place! First time I have ever had a Rueben cooked perfectly! The service was warm and nice. They had generous portions, typical to small countryside restaurants. Rustic look and country hometown atmosphere. Really nice for Valentine's Day lunch. There is a state park nearby for hiking and a farmers market across the street that is awesome!!! Definitely recommend this place for lunch while sampling the local culture and market. Get the Rueben!!!!

My family came here for breakfast right before we headed over to Janoski's for their fall activities. When we arrived around 8:45am, it was not too busy. Around 9:30 is when people started to shuffle in and there was a wait by the time we left. All of the employees here were extremely kind and aim to please. Our waitress was very sweet and made sure that our coffee cups were always full. We had a party of 6 and our food came out in about 20-25 minutes. My older sister ordered a Belgian waffle with chocolate chips and peanut butter. She absolutely loved it, and so did her fiancé. I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich on a bagel with sausage, and it was also great. The sausage was very flavorful. I got a side of bacon as well. The bacon was not bad either, just a little dry. The only issue we had with the whole meal was with the eggs. For the Big Lou, we ordered the eggs over medium, and they came out very runny and not close to medium. Other than that, there were absolutely no complaints. I hope to be back for lunch one day!

Detailed Review: Hungry Farmer: 5/5 I'm not normally the type to get a hot Italian sub but I'm so glad I did. This was a whole sub and one of them was the size of my face. Buffalo Chicken Wrap: 5/5 Best buffalo wrap I've ever had. The onion rings were also great. Ranch: 5/5 Overall, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because service was pretty slow and the place generally looked a little rundown. But the food was incredible and I'll definitely be back.

Huge delicious breakfasts! Our eyes were a bit bigger than our stomachs but everything was delicious we couldn't help ourselves! My husband and I each got an omlette (italian and egg white, both delicious)) and shared an enormous fluffy pancake. Meals are definitely large enough to share. Plentiful seating, family friendly. Would definitely go back!

For being located in a small town, I was blown away by the quality of the food here. This pizza…read moreshop is extremely underrated, if you live around the area, and it's definitely worth the price given how all of the ingredients taste high-quality. Also, the specialty flavors are unique and taste great (the bbq chicken and pepp sting pizzas are a must-try!). In addition to this, they have wonderful gluten-free options, of which they are undeniably the best-tasting in the area. Parking is a bit rough sometimes during rush hour, but it's understandable given the small size of the location. Service has always been pleasant when I come to pick up my order, and have never gotten my order wrong. Overall, in terms of price and quality, Aroma is definitely the best option in the area, and is a must-try for anyone who supports small businesses and wants amazing pizza!

It has been a bit since I wrote a review but I think this place is a good one to start back up…read morewith. We live in the Robinson area and usually drive to the city for the fancier pizza options. I heard about this place a few times and was interested in trying it. Since it was a weeknight, I did not want to drive in rush hour traffic so we thought this would be the perfect time to try this place. We got a lot of food. We started with their Bacon Cheese Fries (would have been better fresh so that the cheese wasn't hardened over the fries) and Mozzarella Wedges. My fiance loved the Mozzarella Wedges - reminded me of the ones at Primanti's. My son, of course, wanted a simple pizza so we ordered the Traditional Pizza with Pepperoni. He really liked it - it has a garlic butter crust which took it up a notch, in my opinion. I decided to try two speciality pies: Margherita and Aroma Mia. They were both good - if you're looking for something different, the Aroma Mia is great! The Margherita was good too but the fresh mozzarella cooled down/hardened enough on our 15 minute drive home that it didn't come off in bites. (Not saying this in a negative way - still tasted great but would have been better to each fresh out of the oven. The only item that wasn't up to par was my fiance's Steak Hoagie. He got double meat and isn't a picky eater but felt for the price, it wasn't worth it. He said the steak reminded him of gyro meat texturally which weirded him out. He still ate it but said that if we went back here, he would just order pizza. The downside? It's only takeout and delivery. There's a small table in there to wait for your food but that's it. If there's one thing I'd change, it would be that. I think when you make specialty pizza, it's so much better to eat fresh vs. placing it into a box to have sit in your car until you arrive home. To wrap the experience up, I'm glad I went. Was it pricy? Yes. But did we get a ton of food? Yes. 2 appetizers, 3 small pizzas and a steak hoagie ended up being about $100. For a small town, it's a lot. However, I would go back again and just order less food. If you're ever near the airport/Robinson and want a good pizza on the go, I'd recommend trying it out. Hopefully one day they can grow and find a way to add some tables. I think this place can be a hit!

Delicious, delicious, delicious…read more I tried it make it downtown to the original location, but sadly time got away from me. But I was thrilled there is a location inside the airport. I was taken care of by Corey and he was great. Kept my drink full, had good answers to my questions, but wasn't overly attentive. I liked that it was in the airport, because it could watch the coming and goings instead of just staring at TVs. I had the tall boy when pigs fly sandwich, OMG so good. I had to eat it with a fork because after the first bite, it spilled out all over the place. Delicious! The only concern I had was with the hostess, when threw the menu at me and others, but since I only interacted with her for 10 seconds, it wasn't enough to detract from Corey and the food. But I do hope something gets done about her. It wasn't a good first impression.

At the airport, I immediately beelined to the restaurant when I saw it. I ordered the PB Reuben. It was a massive sandwich piled with almost 2 inches of corned beef and pastrami. The flavor of the meat was amazing. It was interesting to have fries on the sandwich which added a different texture to the food when I bit into them. I really loved the sandwich so much so that I was thinking about it the next day. Truly one of the most fulfilling and delicious sandwiches I have ever tasted. Our server, Emily, was a rock star. She was appropriately attentive and always had a nice smile on her face while she helped us. The restaurant had a bar feel to it which made it a comfortable place to have lunch while waiting for my flight. I am glad we followed through on the recommendation to eat here.

While I had no problem getting to the terminal, I arrived 3-1/2 hours before my flight. Not only did I have an espresso martini at 5AM at the appropriately named Martini (review: https://yelp.to/FLBmD_s2iS) but I decided to have breakfast here because frankly it was the one spot that was open earlier than the other airport eateries. I ordered a much needed $2 Coffee (Photo 2) and the $14.88 Western Omelette (Photo 4). First things first, I noticed only later that I was charged four dollars more without any explanation on the receipt. I should have noticed, but did I mention I already downed an espresso martini? The eggs were strangely overcooked with a paucity of ham and a strange texture to the cheddar cheese. Why didn't I rate it one star? The two slices of Italian toast and the crispy home fries improved the dish. Marginally. OK. In fairness, I did lookup whether lettuce belonged on a traditional gyro and it does NOT. Fair enuff because there was a wee bit of lettuce, and, by wee bit, I mean traces, not even a 1/16th of a leaf. So, before I complained here about a lack of lettuce, I wanted to be sure of the intention. Soo, fine. But, still, it wasn't a sandwich worthy of a place saying they do Greek fare. I've had way better at Orthodix Greek church festivals.
