This is a no BS, straight-to-service kind of place! No pressure to buy additional things. I love it! How many times do you go to a dealership and always get upsells and pressure to do this or fix that?! Well not here! I came in for an oil change and was immediately greeted by a friendly technician. He asked me what oil I wanted and proceeded to tell me to wait in the lobby as he will most likely be done in 15-20 minutes. About 10 minutes later, the technician comes back with my air filter and asked if I wanted it changed. I said no and that was that! NOT ONCE did I feel pressured to get them changed. They didn't ask me twice when I refused, which was a nice change and definitely helped eliminate the anxiety of going to get my car serviced. He then came back about 5 minutes later and told me the car was done! He gave me a run down of their 10 point inspection and gave me recommendations for next time. Again, NOT ONCE did he pressure me into doing anything recommended. Then, he rang me up quickly and I was out the door in about 20 minutes! He also said I would get 15% off my next service with them as well and 10% off if I decide to come back for any of the recommendations. Honestly, hands down the BEST experience I have had with any service dealership. I will most definitely come back again and tell everyone I know about it. Been Reeeeel skeptical of these Express oil changing companies, but this Lube Express blew my mind away. I've been delaying my oil change over 200 miles and it was time... On a Saturday Morning around 10am, I had to find a express oil change shop that wouldn't keep me more than half an hour.. which seemed nearly impossible! Yelped my self around and found the Lube Express and decided to try them since they were only 4 miles away from home. Arrived at the shop feeling skeptical and defensive just in case they try to sell me unwanted sales pitch over services that I didn't need. There were maybe 4 cars ahead of me and the staff member took my car in line. I confirmed with him that I needed the regular basic oil change, which came out to $28 because of my oil tank size (6 quarts) I was told that it would be completed in half an hour, so I waited. And what do you know! Man I was glad that nobody really bothered me or gave me sales pitch to sell unnecessary services! During the time I checked out my car to see if the work was being done, and they were working on it after 10 minutes my car was parked in. Within 25 minutes, I was told my car was ready to go and the oil change was completed. The total came out $28 and I paid with my card to left. I wasn't pressured or asked to consider other services, so I was pleasantly satisfied and happy with their excellent customer service and friendliness. Who doesn't want 30 min oil change?? Went for an oil change and they forgot to put the engine cover back on. When I called them on it they had lost it and I never got it back. I went back for another oil change and paid for the cabin filter to be changed. Later that day I noticed the filter cover on the front seat. I have been taking my two cars here frequently for regular oil change and maintenance and it's been a good run with them because I always get my discount being a frequent or prepared customer but recently one of the team manager that calling the shots there it's giving me a hard time and not really appreciating my business that I've been bringing them. I went in for an oil change and informed them about the engine protector that came off and was hanging. After about 15 minutes, they told me they could not do an oil change because the protector is so damaged (they couldn't drive my car over the bump they had on the floor). I trusted their words and left the place. Driving about 0.1 mile, my car was making screeching sound, and I couldn't drive at all. (By the way, I had driven from LA that morning with no problem.) What happened was that they damaged my engine protector by driving it over the bump even though I warned and asked if it would be okay. Only if they were honest with their mistake, I would've felt fine even though it could've been annoying. I am so appalled at their deception, making me drive with the severly damaged protector. I put $50 gas in my car at a station around the corner in order to get the free air for a low tire whose sensor sent a red warning signal to my dashboard. But, of course, their self-service air machine was broken, and the helpful attendant directed me to the $2 air at the Chevron down the street. - Pass. But, I drive down Harbor a couple blocks, and there it is: FAST LUBE - Oil Change.... Hmmm, maybe they have an air machine for my tires? Well, not only do they have air, they have the happiest crew in town - I commented how everyone was laughing, joking, smiling... even at 5:15 pm on a HOT, MUGGY AFTERNOON - and was told it's because "We all love working on cars." I mentioned that I am a business owner, and would hire him in a minute, he laughed and said: I'm the manager! And, with that, he personally directed the air pressure as all four tires were filled. And to prove the depth of his love of cars, he described what I was driving with a surgeon's precision, but made it sound like my car was his dream date! Three days later my car was shaking when I turned it on and I couldnt drive it anywhere. When we checked my oil, it was LOW and really watered down! Of course we had to change the oil right then and there because I needed the car and it was night time and this place was closed. The next morning I called and spoke to the owner/manager Armando Saldana. He was rude and unhelpful and said he couldnt do anything about it. Didnt even apologize or try to diffuse the situation! Quick oil change for my car. Went with the standard which was $31. Unfortunately the mustang takes an additional quart of oil. I also opted to get my tires rotated which was an additional $15. Total came out to be $51. Quick service friendly people not sure why it doesn't have as many good stars. Total time was about 20 min because there was already a line. Wish they also reiterated exactly what they did and if there were any problems or if i had any questions instead of just charging me and asking if I wanted the receipt. read more
