My entire family comes here always for a oil change & they sometimes for courtesy vacuum our car

Been coming here for a long time, been great service until recently. Took my car in for an oil change and they broke the valve stem when adding air into my tires that didn't need any air. The stem didn't break off completely but it came loose and air comes out when driving and messing with the stem. Then they refuse to be cooperative about coming to a compromise about getting it fixed. I come here because it's convenient and very close to my job. Never had any problems until this came up. Wether it was the owner, or manager, that I was talking to, he did not want to take responsibility for what his workers did and kept trying to blame me, saying I broke it when I had to add air in because my tire went flat due to the broken valve stem. All he offered me was $10 and not to check my tires next time I come in. They would not pay more than that but why should I have to pay for my vehicle to get serviced to fix something they broke? I understand it's not a lot of money but the money isn't the point in this situation. They are uncooperative. Besides that, they also said I have an "excessive oil leak". Key word there is "excessive". When I called back and asked about it, they said it was a minor leak and couldn't find the source. Why would you say it's an "excessive" leak then go back on your word and say it's minor? Seems like incompetence to me. Definitely won't be coming here anymore. read more

I visited this shop because I read great reviews of their speedy time and efficiency. It is correct they are FAST! My standard oil change took them under 9 and a half minutes to finish my change my oil and top off the stated fluids. Under $38 total for the standard with taxes. I would give a 5 star but they said they vacuumed my car and I didn't notice a huge difference. read more

My experience at this place while there was nice the guy I dealt with was great. I got the synthetic blend done while there I was told by a women working on my car I had an excessive oil leak which I found strange because I never have a leak under my car and my mechanic who I go to regularly told me my oil burns out. But hey whatever they" know what there doing " so they ask me if I want to add a stabilizer to my car it helps slow down an oil leak. only 16.99 more. I said sure because again I think they know what's going. The time there is fast and easy fast forward to the next morning drop my kids off at school as I'm headed to work my car starts violently shaking the check engine light and the stability track are going off I can barely move my car I pull over to residential street. Late for work and have to call triple aaa to come and tow me while waiting my car comes on with the check engine light still on but I'm relieved I still may make it to work and not need to tow my car. The tow man checks it seems okay we say good bye on my way make a u-turn out of the area the same things happen. Fortunately the tow man was still there. As he is loading it on to the truck he notice a grey sludge under my car. Get to my mechanic and he sees the grey sludge all under my car tires and all. I let him know I got an oil change what they added and the additive they used he explained whatever oil and additive they used seized up my engine it was everywhere. It backed up my whole system. Because of the car I have they should have not add anything that thick. And that magical excessive leak that wasn't their cost me hundreds and hundreds to get my car fixed. And it still isn't great so I may have to have my engine flushed again to make it right. Please beware of these guys they do not know everything about cars and To get them to replace my money I lost is going to be an uphill battle which is fine cause I'm ready for the fight. They have the option to wait outside on chairs in the open air which is nice and all the guys seem friendly - service with a smile always helps. Your employees on Saturday, February 28, 2015 yelled, "Fucking wasted my time!!" at my family. VERY RUDE EMPLOYEES!! If I could give a ZERO STAR REVIEW, I'D GIVE NEGATIVE FIVE STARS!! Excuse me, with that kind of attitude and vugar service you give your customers, I don't expect to receive service here EVER! I don't know who the manager is, but you need to fire your employees for bad mouthing customers in front of them. I hope this helps others not to come here and I hope you are reading this. This shop broke the wiper cowl on my car when replacing the wiper blades, and we saw them try to scam an older gentleman into buying a new air filter he didn't need. I brought up the newly broken piece on my car, and the guys there denied that anything broke. They even said "I can't explain what happened", then why are you so adamantly denying that you broke it if you aren't aware of what happened?? They told me to come in Monday and talk to the manager and look at the videos - to prove what?? Also, while we waited, they tried to pressure an older gentleman with a walker into buying a new air filter. He protested and asked they bring out his existing air filter, and lo and behold it was very clean, and certainly didn't need to be replaced. I will never come here again, and will warn everyone I know to stay away from such a terrible establishment. read more

MOST IGNORANT AND RUDEST MANAGER!! Like many others here I went to this place few times, until last time I let them to do tire rotation. When I realized that this guy was changing the front right to rear right and I try to explain the manager that that's not suppose be the way should be done, when this "manager" answered me in the most rudest way saying "that's the way we do it and that the way hes going to do it!!"...I can't even explain what happened after that...guys who marked 5 stars just did not have to confront with manager yet, just wait until you have to complain with any issue!! read more

Had my oil changed this morning. When paying I was given "Service comments ". It stated I had rear engine seal leaks, oil pan gasket leaks, and I had excessive oil leaks on arrival. Funny thing is is that I had just spent a boat load of money fixing the main seal leak and other items on my car about 3 weeks ago and my car hadn't leaked period. My driveway, for the first time is a year , was clear of oil spots. Just to make sure I went home and looked underneath the car, no leaks dry as a bone. Nice Lube setup. It was my first time coming here after I asked a friend where he goes for a cheap oil change, I came to Lube Express. The bay was full with cars when I arrived, I pulled into a parking spot and a worker approached me, told him I wanted an oil change and handed him my keys. He pulled my car up behind the others and I walked over to the waiting area. After about 10 mins or so, my car pulled up and they started to work on it. I realized that I never told them which oil service I wanted nor did they come up to ask me which one I wanted. I don't like it when things are assumed and I have to pay for more than what I wanted or get less of a product when I wanted a higher product, so I walked up and told them what I wanted. I left and drove 380+ miles to norcal. My car seemed to feel a little...heavier? than normal with its accelerations. My MPG seemed to be a bit worse too. When I got home, I parked my car in the garage and let it sit over night. In the morning I pulled the dipstick and the oil registered slightly higher than the full indicator. Not really a big deal because that minimal amount shouldn't make a difference but I wonder if they put the correct weight oil in my engine. The oil change label they stuck on my window indicates previous oil that was in my vehicle but it doesn't state what they put in. read more

Very fast service, easy access location, and a discount on synthetic oil. They'll also give you a discount on air filters. I don't need an espresso bar at places like this. I just need them to be a little faster and cheaper than the competition, and they are both. I read some of the negative reviews here with a lot of suspicion. Envelopes of cash being stolen... Really? Who leaves bags of cash in their car unattended? Anyone who does that is probably dumb enough to have left their cash somewhere else, and then blame the oil change guy. read more

+ Quick and good service! I've been coming here for a while now, different cars as well. Anything from my mom's grocery getter Toyota Corolla to my (once mine) Acura Integra w/ a modified motor. Every time I've been here, I've never had a bad experience. I just tell them what I want, whether it's regular or synthetic, and just stick to it. Yes, they'll do an inspection on your car and maybe ask if you want to replace any air filters or cabin filters, I just say no and go about my business. If you're weary about what's being done to your car, you can be like me and sit outside on their patio area to keep an eye out on your car. It's usually a quick experience for me, and I always.. always check the oil levels AFTER doing the change just in case. These guys have done me no wrong. I'd recommend them if you're strictly going in for an oil change, other services, I can't speak for. read more

Fast service, and good prices. I was able to get an oil change on my V6 Ford Ranger XLT for 19.99 + Tax. Not bad, cheaper actually than what I would have paid for if I did it myself. Customer service was a bit lacking though. When I got there, the guy told me where to drive up to and park, but after that I had to ask a couple times as to what the price would be for an oil change. He then directed me towards the front desk, where there was no one. Once my vehicle was done, someone walked up to the counter and helped me. He was very friendly, and told me I had an oil leak (which I already knew), but didn't try and upsell me on anything. I just wish they would have told me to pay at the end, because I was standing at the counter for five minutes before that wondering what I was supposed to do next. Waiting room is comfortable to sit in, with a nice TV. I actually struck up a pretty cool conversation with a stranger while waiting/standing near the counter, so not a bad experience overall! No pressure place to change your oil. Found this place near my job and its seems its own by the same people that work there. The workers are friendly and dont push you on services and their prices are great! They completed the oil change in 15 minutes I drive a hybrid so my oil is more expensive than general but I was still able to get it cheaper than any other place I have tried so far and with no coupon! check them out and you wont regret it. Cool, decent place. Friendly, they let me know which services I needed. They didn't force it, just suggested. I always get a $10 off postcard around the time I need an oil change. This place is amazing!! The two times I've been here, I was out in about 20 minutes. The price for a basically oil change comes out to be about $25 for 3,000 miles! This will be my new go to spot for an oil change. Other places take way too long and they try to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need. Service here is great too! read more

I use to come here and was quite pleased. However every time I came for a synthetic oil change they would change the price and I started bringing my old receipt to avoid this random price hike. Today was the final straw for me, they lost me as a costumer and I will never come back. $97 for an oil change, I'll pass it is normally $55. When I brought this to their attention they laughed and said it is what it is. Remind you my CAR DEALERSHIP COSTS $87 and they actually wash your car after. This place is a joke I came in Saturday it was somewhat busy not to bad the guy that came up to my vehicle was Nice and professional but why I'm giving it one star is for another reason I brought in my Honda Civic with 8,000 miles on it and I was offered Mobil one full synthetic which I was ok with but last week I bought a new front bumper lip and as I look under the car there's a small leak from the drain plug which I had to tighten myself which is also dangerous if that plug would have fallen I could have damaged my whole engine also my car came with a skid plate and all of a sudden my skid plate is missing these guys are thief's and stole my skid plate how does my brand new car end up missing a whole skid plate the reason I didn't call and file a complaint personally is because I didn't want to take my car back to them who knows what else they would take from my vehicle $50 bucks later I buy a new skid plate out of pocket since this lube shop kept my old one beware of this place not only did I pay $80 dollars for an oil change I also had to pay $50 for the stolen skid plate they took not cool at all guys I'm never coming here again what a joke bunch of thief's. read more

I went with the full service oil change that's comes with a basic tune up and car vacuum and wash. It's $40 and I also replaced the air filter because I don't think I ever have in its 10 years. On August 14th 2013, I went to Lube Express while I was having my oil changed, The location Manager and the only one in my car stole $300.00 dollars that I had in the side pouch on the drivers side door. the $300.00 dollars was there when I arrived and the next morning when I went to get it , it was gone. After leaving Lube Express I went straight home. My car was parked in the driveway and locked, no one else drove my car. The next day I went to Lube Express and reported the incident. I spoke to the Owner and the staff, The owner gave a bunch of BS. If you go to Lube Express remember there is a thief at this location, remove your valuables or go some were else. This is my favorite place to go for an oil change because they do the full service oil change without trying to upsell you on other services or products. It's an easy to miss location on Beach Blvd. just north of Orangethorpe. It's never overly busy (the longest I've ever had to wait is 25 mintues) and the waiting room is clean with a tv to keep you entertained. $39.99 for the oil change and the usual services (check your tire pressure, vacuum, etc.). They'll also let you know if you might need something else but leave it to you to decide. So instead of asking you to come over to the computer and telling you the twenty services you should have done right now and how your transmission fluid really needs to be done today or else the car could explode, the tech simply walks over to you and says 'hey, your air filter is pretty dirty. We got 'em here for $20 if you want me to change it out.' No pressure. Everyone who works here is very pleasant and low key. read more

I came here years ago and was overcharged and treated like scum. My wife was recently told how cheap this place is and they tried to charge her 69 for an oil change. Thank God I drove there and openly explained to her in front of their staff and customers how they overcharge and are rude to customers. I've been coming here for about 2 years with my old 2000 Pontiac. I love how fast they are that's the only reason I'm giving them 2 stars.. My boyfriend and grandpa also have been coming here for years. So I got my oil changed yesterday and right when I get out of the car the guy tells me for these cars we only do synthetic oil I say OK thinking it'll cost me like 50$ instead of the regular 25$.. Be minded my car is a Honda civic 2014. I'm sitting in the lobby he tells me I also need to change 2 of my filters. I just bought this car 6 months ago and they are treating it as if it was an old run down car. I just say yes to the filters because he gave me a 10$ discount. I thought cool he's being helpful. Go to pay.. 158$ later!!! I couldn't fight it they did the work already so I leave. I noticed they broke off one of my window rain guards so I call and ask and they play dumb so now I'm without one of rain guards on. I Google about synthetic oil and my type of car does not need it!!! These guys got me maybe because they didn't meet their goal for the Month because it is written where any customer can see. I feel used by these people and it wasn't even my first time. I would so rather wait 2 hours for an oil change then get scammed by these guys!! You lost a family of loyal customers! read more
