I needed a last minute hair cut and Lucent was so flexible with working with my schedule and limited availability. The owner and staff were quick to reply and made scheduling via text very easy. I went on a Wednesday morning so it was quiet and plenty of parking. The lot can be slightly tricky to figure depending on which direction you're coming from. Kitty is the short hair EXPERT! I found her years ago and as long as she stays in so-cal, I will follow her wherever she goes because I don't trust anyone else with my pixie cut but her. She doesn't do the one-cut fits all, she is VERY detailed and takes her time to understand YOUR hair and will cater the cut to YOU. The style she uses for my pixie is the razor cut, and I just love how it looks. Her prices are extremely reasonable too - $50 for a cut, oh and the best part... NECK TRIMS ARE FREE. I was devastated to find a second closure of salons due to the virus and my appointment with Kiera was the following week. My last appointment was with another hair dresser back in April, and I could not imagine waiting another 3 months. I text Kiera the minute I heard the news, later that day she sent me a text that she had an opening the next day ( my day off,) her client gave up her appointment for someone that needed it and I am so grateful to her. Kiera did a fantastic job, color, highlights, cut and she followed all the CDC guidelines. The salon is so clean, nicely decorated and so close to me. She was insightful, understanding, and patient when we discussed where my hair had been and in what direction we would be going with it.
