Really good pizza and not many options in the area. My one complaint is it was just a bit cheesy for my taste but that's not really their fault, I'm just weird and prefer a lighter amount of cheese on my pizza. But the crust is so perfectly done and everything -- pepperoni, sauce, bread -- combines perfectly in each bite. If you're in the area and don't feel like Chinese, this is a good spot for a slice. read more

I've never gotten pizza at Lucia and I always thought it was just like any other pizza places so whatever. But one day I got a slice of pizza nothing special no toppings but just the cheese , a regular. When I took that first bite I was like in heaven!!! It was amazing!!! Totally different from the pizza that is not far from Lucia. Best part was that the crust was crispy but not too crispy that you'll hurt yourself (lol) The bottom part of the pizza wasn't burnt or anything it was just Delicious! Absolutely terrible phone AND delivery service. I was so nice to the lady but she was rude without a reason. Someone needs to fire her. In the end we got our money back so it worked out To her credit she starts off sounding nice enough and asked if I wanted to add tip to my card before they delivered and I said yes Well when 1 hour and 15 mins passed I called and politely asked if everything was ok. They told me they were STILL waiting for a delivery person and that it would take another 20 before a delivery person even came back to the STORE to get my pizza. So basically they were saying it would be an almost TWO HOURS total wait I was so defeated and I decided to be wiser and get food nearby & I explained it was taking too long and wanted a refund She then says "Well of course it's over an hour wait. We're busy" Excuse me? She didn't even apologize but was ok excusing the unreasonably late food and being defensive? I was not even being rude! I was taken aback I said "Wow ok first of all it was you who told me it would be 45 mins and now it's going on an hour and 20 so I want my refund." Her response was "I cannot refund you. You're next to have your pizza delivered when he gets back." I couldn't believe I'm not allowed a refund before they even left the place??? At this point I was upset and rightly so and yet I was gullible enough to believe her. I said defeatedly "Well I wish I hadn't agreed to tip on the card before delivery because you guys do not deserve this." I then hang up and tell my boyfriend the news. my boyfriend calls them himself and was much more polite in order to smooth this out but she got rude when he too asked for a refund. She says "I'll tell you the same thing I told her and the answer isn't changing." He tries to to stay calm and says "Listen I am customer and I want my refund. " She then puts him on hold and proceeds to tell someone next to her "They are acting entitled" WHAT? We are acting entitled because we want a refund because they cannot get here in a reasonable time?? Had we waited on them it would have been at almost TWO HOURS. Well it gets better. As soon as she is done talking someone next to her who she was talking to said back to her "they are lying. Didnt you just talk to her?" It was ridiculous! at that point my boyfriend got upset because of the excuses they were making and he demanded his refund and finally they just gave up and asked for the card and refunded us and he said "that wasn't so hard was it?" she got the attitude given back that she dished out and she deserved it read more

Ordered a medium pie to go at 5:12pm. The woman at the counter said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I go to the store and come back in 20 minutes, wait another 5 and ask if my order was being worked on. A new woman this time, who didn't seem to bright in the head, assured me it was. Around 5:43pm I ask again and she says it will be about 15 minutes. Weird thing it this place is usually packed but there were not many people there so didn't understand why it was taking so long, especially when I was told 20 minutes when I placed the order. Eventually my 8 year old son called my cell and asked why it was taking so long for me to bring his pizza and I replied very loud so the employees could hear that I have been waiting 40 minutes and I am pretty sure they forgot my order. Then I see one of the cooks hear me he finally asks what kind of pizza and I tell him. 15 minutes later my pizza finally comes out and the cook apologized. He did try but the front counter staff was totally worthless. Not going back for a while due to such rotten service. read more

Ordered this pizza for my daughters birthday and it was a big hit. The only issue is that the delivery was 40 minutes late which caused the party to go over and in-turn an additional payment to our party- not cool. As someone from New Jersey (please don't hate me), I don't think I have ever had New York pizza. My boyfriend asked me to pick up a large cheese pizza. Holy crap, it was a large pizza. It barely fit through the door with me. I like the thin crust a lot. The sauce is on the sweet side, but it went well with the fresh mozzarella. They made it fresh, and it was super hot. They do take card, which is something that is unheard of in the city, apparently! Parking is a no, but I'm sure you all knew that. read more

Amazing! Totally the experience we have been craving since coming to NYC but had made the mistake of staying in Manhattan for convenience. Love the diversity around this store and of the clientele in it, owner taking orders personally and very friendly. Huge slices and very tasty pizza, cheese/sauce ratio just right. Kids said it was the best pizza they've ever had, and who am I to argue. I would say keep it simple with at most one topping. The place itself is cramped, and one can only eat inside at extreme hours of the day, like near midnight or early morning. I hear quality control/consistency is an issue here, because apparently, the crust, which is supposed to be a shining point, was not crispy at all - which apparently is an irregularity. I was a little tired and sore from all of the walking around the day before and wanted my NY pizza fix, I Googled to see what was near by where I stayed in Flushing. I saw this place on Yelp and there was some good reviews, so I wanted to give it a try. 2 Bros. you can get a slice of cheese pizza for a $1 or 2 slices and a soda for $3.
