Stumbled upon this place after walking around Hollywood. Got sat down to any table we wanted, because there was no one in there. The pizza looks very good, but a little floppy. The sauce was pretty salty and had a subtle sour taste. This might have just been a bad pizza after looking at all these other reviews. Also, the inability to customize a pizza with different toppings is a let down. Overall the pizza is just average and nothing special to go back for. You might get a great pizza, or you might get something soggy and undercooked. I get like, the manager isn't working tonight vibes, so who cares! The concept is fun, but consistency is all over the place. Spice levels swing up and down. I've also been burned a few times through Uber/Postmates with the classic "better luck next time," and no real solution for raw or soggy pizza. My wife and I stopped by Lucifer's Pizza for lunch last weekend and it was not something I would regret. This place had a decent number of seats inside, is painted black, and that's really all I need out of a cool pizza shop. We decided to order an XL pizza with half being the Hot chick which is Chicken, black pepper, pepperoni, mozzarella, green bell pepper, garlic, onion, tomato, chili flakes. The other half of the pie was the three little pigs which had Prosciutto, sausage, bacon, mozzarella. I mostly ate the three little pigs and it was absolutely fantastic! The dough here is on the doughy side which is exactly what I want, while the toppings were tasty and great as well. We also ordered some garlic knots on the side and those things were insanely good, like, I would drive here to order a giant bag of them and be perfectly satisfied with those and some marinara sauce on the side. Overall, Lucifer's Pizza is a dope spot that I plan on returning to in the future. The food here was great, the service was helpful and friendly, and the place itself looked cool. Feeling evil? Attention food allergy friends -- proceed with caution! This is the second time that Lucifer's has given me a pizza with dairy cheese instead of vegan cheese. I typically get pizzas with lots of topping so the cheese isn't super visible and is only noticeably different after taking a bite. This speaks to how good their vegan cheese is but the similarity ends up being dangerous when they're not careful with vegan accommodations. Luckily, the first time they made this mistake, my friend tasted the pizza first and warned me so I didn't eat any. This time, i was alone and I took a bite only to discover it was real cheese. The dairy exposure caused a full allergic reaction and I'm still sick a day later. I got my refund but it's about more than the money...it's about those with food allergies having safe accommodations so our food experiences are a little less limited. For any vegan or dairy free friends looking for a ref of what their real cheese looks like, notice in the pic how the shreds are more melted together and have orange oil/grease. That level of melt and color of oil aren't present with their vegan cheese. read more

My opinion may be biased because my family is from the east coast and LA just does not have the same quality pizza and have the nerve to charge so much money for literal bread with cheese and a few toppings. How is it you can go somewhere and get all you can eat for the same price and have double or triple the food but pizza places are ripping you off because they can. It's a very popular food item but I would've rather spent my money at Pizza Hut, I could've gotten at least 3 pizzas, plus sides and a soda for the same price. As soon as I lifted the lid, I felt slapped in the face. Of course it looked nothing as advertised, I ate 2 slices in dissatisfaction. Finally tried Lucifer's! We weren't sure which toppings to get and were pleasantly surprised to find that you can do half/half even with their speciality toppings. We did half greek lamb & rosemary and half prosciutto-pollo. We got it with vegan cheese. Both flavors were pretty good but they were also both sort of sweet, which was odd. I personally prefer my pizzas fully savory and don't love when they have a sweet element to it. Maybe it was the caramelized onions which both had, but still, the sweetness was a bit overpowering. You couldn't even tell the cheese was vegan which I really appreciated, as some vegan pizzas can have a weird gluey texture. This certainly didn't have that.
