First off, the food is not kept properly. Hibachi is sitting out and not surrounded by ice. Tried it anyway and I couldn't swallow it. They use paper plates and plastic silverware, can pop and Styrofoam cups. The chicken doesn't look like any wings I have ever had and taste just as bad. Seafood was not eatable. My family continuously spit out the food. Over $50 for 3 and not worth any of that. The sauce for the sushi was awful. The only thing that was good was chocolate pudding out of a can. This place is finally back! Yes! This place was out for over 1 year. Was called "Super China Buffet". I loved coming here. Possibly new owner. The old owner just stopped caring. My new fav American-Asian restaurant for take out downriver! I've eaten here a few times but I don't usually do buffets. From what I recall, it's a standard Buffett with good food and selection. Fine for families with lots of space and kids. I have only ordered takeout or delivery in the last 18 months. Their food is fresh and delicious. Good portions. And reasonably priced on delivery apps or if you go in and make your own take out box. This is our "guilty pleasure" when we want that naughty indulgence American-Chinese takeout. Our go to order is the Cheesy Crab entree, with Lo Mein instead of friend rice, a large Hot n Sour soup and egg rolls on the side. The Cheesy Crab baked casserole is made with chunks of Krab meat (not real Crab) and cheese and it's very tasty! The Lo Mein is delicious and has that wok-fried Smokey flavor to it with a few small sweet pieces of cabbage for contrast. The eggrolls are better than most -- fresh tasting. And I love their hot and sour soup with egg, mushroom and a little bit of heat too. All-in, delivered, it was $18 before tip. Enough for 2 adults w leftovers. Or 4 meals for one. Not bad. Packaged nicely to avoid spills -- fun fortune cookies included also. They're modern and the messages are in-color. This time I got a green printed fortune with a SELFCARE-SLOTH on one side, and a message that "Selfcare isn't selfish or lazy. Take time for yourself." On it. Nice! Usually I don't get the silverware and napkins I request though. Not sure if that's the restaurant or delivery service's fault. Also, the takeout buffet for around $10/lb is a good deal for anyone on keto. My friend goes and get a large styrofoam container of just plain meats and proteins weekly. If I could do a negative star while simultaneously calling the health department on them I would. Food was absolute trash, chicken was so dry and awful that it broke the PLASTIC silverware you are given on the PAPER plate/bowls..... You don't get refills on drinks either. There was hole in the wall in the booth I sat in and the tables were not clean. My partner and I only were able to swallow one singular bite of food before we walked out after only having been there for 5 minutes total. I felt sick to my stomach for a couple hours after so I can only imagine what it would have done to my body if I ate any more than I did. We called to complain and ask for our money back and the woman laughed (so bad customer service as well) The inside of the building had dim lights and made it feel both yucky & creepy. Will never ever EVER come back or recommend unless you want to risk your life of food poisoning. I would also like to mention that I have never taken the time to write a review for anywhere before but this place was so unsettling I am using my little spare time to make sure I write and warn people. The Luck Star Buffet is a nice place to eat.                 They have a good variety of American, Chinese combined with some Mexican food and Japanese (at least one Korean dish - Kimchee).                 It's for this variety and devil-may-care attitude that I like the place.  I didn't care for the handwritten sign that said 'Help us keep our prices reasonable and don't waste food.'                 Just gave me a bad taste in my mouth.                 That was the only thing that gave me a bad taste in my mouth, though, the rest of the food was enjoyable.  Well - the exception for me would be the Sushi.  I gave it a whirl but I would recommend it.  The rice had already started to dry out so I know it had been sitting there a while.  The Wasabi had started to turn a darker shade of green.  (The Pistachio Ice Cream has turned! - Mater from Cars).                 The décor is standard.  Nothing jumped out at me.  It was a little cool in the dining room but not too bad.  Prices are reasonable but keep an eye on what you're choosing. read more

There were bugs flying around the open food, kids running around like it's Chuck E. Cheese, and the servers only give you one can of pop for your whole meal. Not to mention the building itself is falling to pieces. There are cracks littering the walls, chipped paint, and gaping holes next to the booths. Don't eat their soggy, nauseating food!
