I am enjoying the new drinks and the new decor. It is now nicely lit, clean, and simple with cute teapots on display. Service was good as always. My current favorites are the black sesame latte and the peach oolong. The black sesame is very strong in flavor, which is very hard to find. The white peach oolong is pleasantly mild and just strong enough for the flavor to peek out. So far, I have also tried the long jing, osmanthus oolong, jasmine snow bud, passionfruit milk tea, passionfruit green tea,, and the coconut latte. I like how smooth the long jing is and the flavor is very mild. It is one I would choose for a more neutral flavor. The osmanthus reminded me of the boxed vita drinks you find at supermarkets except creamy. Its actually really good. The jasmine tastes like the one from heytea, which I also like very much. I am a humongous jasmine fan. For some reason, I was not a big fan of the passionfruit milk tea -- maybe it felt like the passionfruit was not very strong? but the passionfruit green tea was good. I thought the coconut latte was going to be similar to the one from luckin but it could not be any more different. It was more of a coconut shredded flavor than coconut milk. It was not bad. Staff kind of looked like they were in a daze but lowkey don't blame them, there wasn't much foot traffic/business when I went. The staff were nice though and my drinks were finished in a timely manner. Also, I love the color of the cup and new aesthetic, though it's similar to all the other tea/boba places. But it is what it is. I'm absolutely in love with the green though. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu.

They have since opened another much more location in Chinatown on Mott, next door to Molly, and nearby a bunch of other more premium tea and bubble tea options. Anyway, this tea spot is from Xi'an in particular and has a few unique things, with one of the main pros for this location in particular being the design. Compared to some of the other tea places, it is very well designed, and it's a bit more calming in here, which makes this spot a good reprieve from the rest of the chaos on St. Marks. In terms of the menu, they seem to specialize in more "floral" tea varieties such as Osmanthus Oolong. Their other signature seems to be Tea Frappés, which I haven't seen much of at Chinese tea shops. As I am a big fan of the former, I went with a medium Signature Osmanthus Oolong, at 30% sugar with no ice. The oolong was pretty solid with a pretty strong tea flavor, but not too bitter, and there was a good floral flavor from the osmanthus. It was worth the $6.99 +tax. It's better than any of the cheaper spots that focus less on tea leaves, and in comparison to the fancier spots, the only place comparable nearby is N25, and this is better. This was a fancy but tasty oolong. It's a bit small for the price point, but I would stop by again.

I ordered on the app( large lemon curd matcha). So far, my blank street drinks were a hit or miss, but this was so good. The mild tartness of this drink paired with the subtlety of vanilla was a great pairing. This location had a good amount of seats. They were also blasting a relatively modern pop soundtrack which fits in well with the college town vibe of the area.
