Solid spot in the Rio. Service was very good, offering suggestions and even replacing a drink that my wife didn't like. Food was good. I had salmon with overly-salty broccolini, and my wife got a burger with overly salty fries. Burger cooked perfectly. Drinks were good, but a bit too sweet. We got old fashioneds and requested light sugar, but they were still a bit sweet. Decent pour of bourbon, though! Fun pseudo-Hard Rock vibe, with great photos of rock legends and album covers. The back dining room was closed and we were seated in the front, which had good lighting, but caught a lot of cigarette smoke from casino passers-by. Honestly, a good place that I'd return to, and recommend.

We had a party of 8. All our meals and cocktails were good, no complaints on any of them. Service was quick and very polite. The music wasn't soo loud that you couldn't hear the table conversation. Overall a great dinner!

We came to Luckley's Tavern & Grill at the Rio last night for dinner and had such a great experience from start to finish. We were seated right away, and our server introduced himself almost immediately--super friendly, welcoming, and attentive the entire night. We happened to make it just in time for happy hour, so we ordered the spinach & artichoke dip along with a couple of happy hour drinks. The dip was honestly one of the best I've ever had--creamy, flavorful, and the portion was HUGE. The chips that came with it were just as good. For our main, we shared the 32 oz tomahawk steak with a side of fries. The steak was cooked perfectly! It was tender, flavorful, and not overly fatty--just an amazing cut of meat. The fries were crispy and had this slightly spicy seasoning that was a total surprise. Even though it was a busy Sunday night, the service never skipped a beat. The vibe inside is also worth mentioning--it's not your typical bar & grill feel. It actually has more of an upscale, chill restaurant atmosphere, which we loved. We ended the night with their homemade banana pudding, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it might be the best banana pudding I've ever had. Highly recommend Lucky's if you're at the Rio--great food, great service, and an all-around awesome experience!

It is amazing place to eat there, especially if you seat at the open front edge. It is like entertainment: you watch people in casino pass by. That Friday we came to eat oysters $2 per 1 from 3pm to 5 pm. My husband ordered French fries too. Service is amazing! And ambiance too.

Best steak prices in Vegas!! Prime rib din we with Caesar salad, potatoes, horseradish sauce every day available for $49!! It was excellent! Our server was a sweetheart too checking in on us. If you are in Vegas check by out Luckley in the Rio hotel!! Look at the pics!

Luckley, located inside the Rio Hotel, is easily one of the better dining options here. The food was fresh and full of flavor--we tried the salmon with broccolini and the Wagyu burger, and both were excellent. The service really stood out as well; everyone was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. If you're staying at the hotel, I'd definitely recommend giving Luckley a try!

Happy Hour Menu

Maybe it's a low bar, but this is surely the best restaurant on the ground floor of the Rio. Luckley Tavern & Grill is what I'd dare call a gastropub serving American cuisine and bar food. We've been using dining credit from the Rio Rewards card to subsidize the exploration of the meager food options at this hotel/casino, and we stopped here today for the daily happy hour (3-5pm). We got seated immediately and received very solid service from our server, including fairly minimal upselling, constant water refills, and boxing of leftovers. He also informed us that prime rib and chicken wouldn't be ready until happy hour was conveniently over, but there were still plenty of enticing options for us among the discounted food and drink. Funny enough, all of our food choices were some version of beef and starch. The Loaded Fries ($11 HH, $14 regularly) were actually great, with tender short rib, truffle cheese sauce, pickled onions, and some sort of unexpected spice (cinnamon?) that actually added a welcome flavor. No ketchup is served with this, and none is needed. The skin-on potatoes were fluffy and cooked through, but if I had to nitpick, they weren't all perfectly crispy. The Signature Wagyu Burger ($15 HH, $26 reg.) was cooked nicely medium and had a sturdy pretzel bun, but I really liked the dispersed flavor of the diced pickles. It reminded me of a smash burger that wasn't smashed. Ketchup is plated on the side, and it actually added a needed vibrancy to the flavor profile. It isn't a must-try for "best burger" questers, but it's certainly it's a better burger than anything in the Rio's food hall. The French Dip Au Jus ($14 HH, $18 reg.) was full of thinly sliced, tender beef including some fatty bits. The au jus and horseradish cream were both nice accompaniments, although the latter tasted a bit mild in the requisite flavor. This is also easily better than similar beef and cheese sandwiches available at Rio's food hall, although the portion does feel a little small. As for the drinks, we found the Blood Orange ($12 HH, $17 reg.) description highly enticing, and it turned out to be very good. The blood orange and lime take the lead, with the gin taking more of a lead toward the second half of the drink. The ginger note seemed to be a bit lost at best, not that I really needed it. Luckley Tavern is a great place for happy hour and an even better option if you have any sort of higher tier player's card at Rio. Other than the new steakhouse, this is the only reaason for a real foodie to travel to this casino.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The service was phenomenal and their manager Manny was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. 11/10 I will be back.

While staying at Rio Las Vegas, we decided to try out Luckley Tavern & Grill for dinner. We ended up sharing a NY Strip and added this grilled shrimp, grilled asparagus, and fries. The sauce on the grilled asparagus was delicious, and my hubby ended up pouring some on the steak because it was a bit bland. Service was excellent, and the overall vibe in the restaurant was great.

This is one of my newest favorite spots in Las Vegas. The service here is top notch! Our server, Chevy, and the manager Manny made sure that we had the best experience for my birthday dinner. Every dish, especially the steak, was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The cocktails were beautifully garnished and had great flavor, especially the Mezcal cocktail. I'm a big Mezcal fan and I think the bartender beautifully balanced the smoky flavor with the tart and sweet accents. The restaurant itself is stunning and has multiple photo opportunities. With carved wood and nice quality furniture, we felt comfortable and the restaurant felt expensive. The prices were very reasonable for the quality, service, and atmosphere. Overall, was very impressed and definitely will be back!

We came here for dinner before the Penn and Teller show. We were warned multiple times not to eat in the Rio but we were running short on time and I looked on Yelp and this place has good reviews. The place isn't huge and doesn't have a lot of tables but we were able to be seated right away. The menu is a limited menu but that means they can cook everything really good. My sister and husband both got the wagyu burgers and said they were great. I ordered the rigatoni and it was really good. Cooked perfectly. The highlight of the night was our server, Chevy. He was super nice and really attentive. I would definitely eat here again.

We absolutely love this restaurant! We ate here twice while staying at Rio. Zach was an amazing waiter and made our anniversary happy hour date so special! He gave great suggestions and the wine and drinks paired well with the food. Great atmosphere and great service! Can't wait to return!

They also had a few karaoke rooms we saw off to the sides, but didn't have a chance to check them out. The staff greeted us upon arrival and gave us a drink and food menu. Since we were not really hungry, we ended up splitting an order of mixed order of musubis--1 spam and 1 Portuguese sausage. We also got a couple of cocktails: Penicillin and Carajillo (with an extra shot of blanco tequila). The food came out immediately and was fresh and tender/juicy and flavorful. The drinks were made in front of us and the bartender took care to make them with the appropriate garnishes--ginger for the penicillin and an added orange peel for the carajillo. I also loved the branded P on the block of ice. Thought it was a nice touch. The bartender apologized for the lack of fresh espresso when it came to the Carajillo cocktail, but I honestly thought it was super tasty. They have a varied food selection, but we were only wanting something small to snack on, and these items were perfect. Prices were not astronomical, but this was definitely a bit more of an elevated experience. Service was excellent and the spirits selection (we perused the backbar and spirits list), which warrants a return visit. I also want a chance to check out the rest of the food menu in the future. Definitely will be back when we are in the area due to the great service and amazing selections available.

The handsome chef came out to greet us and explained the menu and answered all of our questions. He served us the Korean fried chicken. Very crispy skin. Flavorful with a little bit of spice. Sat on a bed of greens. Next we ordered the sea bass. Light and flaky. Served with coconut rice and a mole sauce. The top was crispy too. The sides paired well with the fish. Also ordered the rib eye mole. The steak was tender and juicy. The smoked mole sauce was so good. Tasted very authentic and we were very surprised that the chiles actually came from Huahaca (?? I'm not much of a drinker so when I asked John, who is also a very talented mixologist, to make me something that tasted like juice, he delivered this beautiful lychee "martini". The presentation was amazing. And went well with my fish. They had me try the pickle drink. The foam on top was good and the "margarita" at the bottom was good too. They even surprised us with tofu cheesecake. I don't like tofu or cheescake, but wow, this dessert was light. Not overly sweet. It was a perfect way to end the meal. The Chef and John and the other mixologist from Thailand were so friendly that even when we finished our meal, they shared stories with us. Not only was the service absolutely top notch, the people and the regulars there were extremely friendly and outgoing. We took in the beautiful views and each had a cocktail. Our server was outstanding and did a great job waiting on us. Sadly, we were getting a Vegas thunderstorm underway so the DJ had to stop and security all ushered us inside. Still, nonetheless, this was such a cool experience and one I'll continue to talk about. Definitely go if you can!
