Lollipop buffalo wings & happy hour oysters
    Lissan E.

First off just wanna shout out the waiters Zach and Julien. Zach's energy is a vibe and will likely cause joy. Julien is very attentive, and I love that he kept the happy hour oysters coming even though he didn't think I could finish 24 I'm planning on coming back just for the happy hour oysters. There wasn't a single bad one that I got and appreciated that they provided the simple yet fundamental condiments - lemon, cocktail sauce & mignonette sauce. Another favorite of my group was the lollipop buffalo wings. It's more on the vinegary side but if you love that, then you will love these. Paired with the ranch, celery and carrots, it's the perfect balance. Ordered this appetizer 3 times My mom got the shrimp tacos, said they were garlic-y and delicious. Boyfriend got the wagyu burger and although messy was juicy and packed with flavor. I got the roasted chicken - seasoned incredibly well, crispy skin, juicy and tender on the inside. The potatoes it comes with are great but the spinach is even more impressive (I know, words I didn't think I'd write). Overall, the dish is super comforting. Like a homemade meal. We didn't try any of the steaks since we went to the steakhouse the night before but when we come back, I'm pretty sure we'll give em a try. An amazing place with great ambiance. Can be a little loud but it's not like you'll be screaming to have conversation. The album cover art & many pictures of musical artists also add to the awesome vibe. Planning my next vegas trip just to come back here!

Solid spot in the Rio. Service was very good, offering suggestions and even replacing a drink that my wife didn't like. Food was good. I had salmon with overly-salty broccolini, and my wife got a burger with overly salty fries. Burger cooked perfectly. Drinks were good, but a bit too sweet. We got old fashioneds and requested light sugar, but they were still a bit sweet. Decent pour of bourbon, though! Fun pseudo-Hard Rock vibe, with great photos of rock legends and album covers. The back dining room was closed and we were seated in the front, which had good lighting, but caught a lot of cigarette smoke from casino passers-by. Honestly, a good place that I'd return to, and recommend.

We came to Luckley's Tavern & Grill at the Rio last night for dinner and had such a great experience from start to finish. We were seated right away, and our server introduced himself almost immediately--super friendly, welcoming, and attentive the entire night. We happened to make it just in time for happy hour, so we ordered the spinach & artichoke dip along with a couple of happy hour drinks. The dip was honestly one of the best I've ever had--creamy, flavorful, and the portion was HUGE. The chips that came with it were just as good. For our main, we shared the 32 oz tomahawk steak with a side of fries. The steak was cooked perfectly! It was tender, flavorful, and not overly fatty--just an amazing cut of meat. The fries were crispy and had this slightly spicy seasoning that was a total surprise. Even though it was a busy Sunday night, the service never skipped a beat. The vibe inside is also worth mentioning--it's not your typical bar & grill feel. It actually has more of an upscale, chill restaurant atmosphere, which we loved. We ended the night with their homemade banana pudding, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it might be the best banana pudding I've ever had. Highly recommend Lucky's if you're at the Rio--great food, great service, and an all-around awesome experience!

It is not super fancy restaurant, but food is very good ! Friendly to kids. It is no wall between restaurant and Casino, which offer an interesting view ,while waiting for being serve.

Luckley, located inside the Rio Hotel, is easily one of the better dining options here. The food was fresh and full of flavor--we tried the salmon with broccolini and the Wagyu burger, and both were excellent. The service really stood out as well; everyone was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. If you're staying at the hotel, I'd definitely recommend giving Luckley a try!

Best steak prices in Vegas!! Prime rib din we with Caesar salad, potatoes, horseradish sauce every day available for $49!! It was excellent! Our server was a sweetheart too checking in on us. If you are in Vegas check by out Luckley in the Rio hotel!! Look at the pics!

While staying at Rio Las Vegas, we decided to try out Luckley Tavern & Grill for dinner. We ended up sharing a NY Strip and added this grilled shrimp, grilled asparagus, and fries. The sauce on the grilled asparagus was delicious, and my hubby ended up pouring some on the steak because it was a bit bland. Service was excellent, and the overall vibe in the restaurant was great.

This is one of my newest favorite spots in Las Vegas. The service here is top notch! Our server, Chevy, and the manager Manny made sure that we had the best experience for my birthday dinner. Every dish, especially the steak, was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The cocktails were beautifully garnished and had great flavor, especially the Mezcal cocktail. I'm a big Mezcal fan and I think the bartender beautifully balanced the smoky flavor with the tart and sweet accents. The restaurant itself is stunning and has multiple photo opportunities. With carved wood and nice quality furniture, we felt comfortable and the restaurant felt expensive. The prices were very reasonable for the quality, service, and atmosphere. Overall, was very impressed and definitely will be back!

Maybe it's a low bar, but this is surely the best restaurant on the ground floor of the Rio. Luckley Tavern & Grill is what I'd dare call a gastropub serving American cuisine and bar food. We've been using dining credit from the Rio Rewards card to subsidize the exploration of the meager food options at this hotel/casino, and we stopped here today for the daily happy hour (3-5pm). We got seated immediately and received very solid service from our server, including fairly minimal upselling, constant water refills, and boxing of leftovers. He also informed us that prime rib and chicken wouldn't be ready until happy hour was conveniently over, but there were still plenty of enticing options for us among the discounted food and drink. Funny enough, all of our food choices were some version of beef and starch. The Loaded Fries ($11 HH, $14 regularly) were actually great, with tender short rib, truffle cheese sauce, pickled onions, and some sort of unexpected spice (cinnamon?) that actually added a welcome flavor. No ketchup is served with this, and none is needed. The skin-on potatoes were fluffy and cooked through, but if I had to nitpick, they weren't all perfectly crispy. The Signature Wagyu Burger ($15 HH, $26 reg.) was cooked nicely medium and had a sturdy pretzel bun, but I really liked the dispersed flavor of the diced pickles. It reminded me of a smash burger that wasn't smashed. Ketchup is plated on the side, and it actually added a needed vibrancy to the flavor profile. It isn't a must-try for "best burger" questers, but it's certainly it's a better burger than anything in the Rio's food hall. The French Dip Au Jus ($14 HH, $18 reg.) was full of thinly sliced, tender beef including some fatty bits. The au jus and horseradish cream were both nice accompaniments, although the latter tasted a bit mild in the requisite flavor. This is also easily better than similar beef and cheese sandwiches available at Rio's food hall, although the portion does feel a little small. As for the drinks, we found the Blood Orange ($12 HH, $17 reg.) description highly enticing, and it turned out to be very good. The blood orange and lime take the lead, with the gin taking more of a lead toward the second half of the drink. The ginger note seemed to be a bit lost at best, not that I really needed it. Luckley Tavern is a great place for happy hour and an even better option if you have any sort of higher tier player's card at Rio. Other than the new steakhouse, this is the only reaason for a real foodie to travel to this casino.

We came here for dinner before the Penn and Teller show. We were warned multiple times not to eat in the Rio but we were running short on time and I looked on Yelp and this place has good reviews. The place isn't huge and doesn't have a lot of tables but we were able to be seated right away. The menu is a limited menu but that means they can cook everything really good. My sister and husband both got the wagyu burgers and said they were great. I ordered the rigatoni and it was really good. Cooked perfectly. The highlight of the night was our server, Chevy. He was super nice and really attentive. I would definitely eat here again.

They weren't busy at all, which is expected. Since there were five of us, we did try a good portion of their menu, including drinks. There were food items that weren't available that night since they were revamping their menu, which is a bit unfortunate. From the drinks menu: Pink Slip - Light and refreshing with a tad of fruitiness. Orange Overdrive - Lighter and more tropical version of a Mai Tai. Octane Fluff - Smooth and silky with a bit of sweetness. Pit Lane Passion - Fruity Petal to the Metal - Refreshing and sweet, the Kettle One Botanicals gives it a nice floral element Tokyo Drift - Strong, grassy, and gritty. My favorite out of all the drinks was the Octane Fluff. It was super delicious and the toasted marshmallow was a nice added touch. My least favorite was the Tokyo Drift -- it had Rihei (ginger sochu), citrus, layered matcha, and apple sake. While it sounded very interesting and looked amazing, it had plenty of potential but unfortunately, I don't think it was executed that well. The matcha used was really grassy and gritty -- I've actually never had matcha that tasted like grass before but whichever one they used, it sure did. The Rihei was far too strong and did not mesh well at all with the matcha. The apple sake was just there. It was like drinking three separate drinks but all at once. From the food menu: Japanese cucumber salad - tangy, refreshing, and slightly spicy. OG burger - delicious, plenty of flavor, and the fries were really good. Japanese curry fries - curry had great flavor but I did wish it had some meat. Wings - we tried both the guava heat and the miso honey. The guava heat was my favorite, it was sweet with a small kick. Their wings were juicy and super plump, which was great. Shoyu butter pretzel - pretty normal. Nothing special to be honest. Service is a tad slow mainly because the establishment started to fill up and they don't have a dedicated server to the tables. It was fine for us but if you get impatient, that is something to note. Prices are reasonable for the food but it is a tad high for the drinks. They do have a happy hour as well but it doesn't start until 11PM, which is super unfortunately. I would love to see a reverse happy hour sometime for them cause I simply cannot eat that late. I'm honestly pretty impressed with our first visit. It's very rare where I find a bar where I like almost all the food AND the drinks. Everyone in my party would agree as well. They are actually expanding their hours to include brunch on Saturday and Sundays. We can't wait to go back again. Definitely recommend.

It had tomato water in it and rhubarb, tequila, and mezcal in it. My husband tried the one called Butter Me Up that came with a tiny plate of pop corn. That drink was incredibly strong but also layered with many flavors and even after your sip the flavors magically kept rolling. Spring rolls of the day (sea bass) were presented so fancy and seemed free of oil and were tasty. The Norwegian Salmon had the most masterfully crisped skin on it that stayed crisp till the end. (in case you don't know that is very rare and very few restaurants have someone that can do that) The salmon was moist and medium in the center. It sat on the very buttery pomme puree that was embellished with delicious sauces. This all was also adored with a fancy piece of toast that tasted so good with the potatoes. My husband tried the Jumping Beef (Vietnamese Style) and it came with the fancy toast, a nicely prepared sunny egg and miso confit tomatoes. I tried a small bite of the beef and it was very tender and tasty. Our server was very attentive and very helpful. I would rate 4.5 only because both proteins were very thin. We decided to go with the tasting menu tonight since we hadn't been before and wanted a good sampling of what they had to offer. It did not disappoint. Not a single dud on that menu. Faves were the Oyster Duo, Octopus, Foie Gras and the Por Flank. Every single dish was flavorful and well seasoned. The service was outstanding and attentive with one tiny hiccup, not big enough to take a star away. I had specifically noted on our reservation that it was our Anniversary and it would have been nice if it was recognized but was not. Wasn't looking for any freebies but would have been a bit more special if mentioned. Not end of the world but a bit disappointing. All in all will be back to try our favorites again on the a la carte menu.

He canceled the reservation on Mother's Day and was fully aware of the stated $25 per person cancellation fee ($100 total). Unfortunately, the restaurant charged his card three separate charges totaling $250 ($100, $100, and $50). He contacted the restaurant and was initially told the refund would be processed within 3 days. After following up again 3 days later, he was told the employee who handles refunds was out of the country and that he should not have been told 3 days. He then received an email from Thaddeus confirming the cancellation fee was only $25 per person and stating he could use the $100 as credit toward a future visit if he showed the email at the restaurant. However, the additional $150 in charges was never addressed. My son replied to the email asking about the extra charges and still has not received a response 3 days later. At this point, he is handling the matter through his bank's fraud department. Very disappointing experience, especially with the lack of communication and accountability. I would not recommend this place.

The…read moreambiance immediately stood out the velvet red decor, dim lighting, and music created such a fun but still upscale vibe. It felt like the perfect mix of lounge and restaurant energy, making it great for both celebrations and date nights. The food was really good as well. We had the miso salmon, Hamachi fried rice tacos, Caesar salad, and shrimp, and everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well presented. The tacos were definitely one of my favorites and something I'd order again. I also appreciated their drink menu. They have a great variety of cocktails, but I especially loved that they offer non alcoholic drinks that still look and feel elevated instead of just being an afterthought. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and food made this a really enjoyable experience. You can tell a lot of thought went into the aesthetic and overall vibe of the place. Definitely a spot I'd come back to again, especially for a date night or girls night.

Our server was also the bartender and host. This caused slower service, especially being seated, due to there only being one employee in the front of the house. We witnessed a few couples arrive and leave due to not being seated in a timely manner. We ordered a few alcoholic cocktails and they were decent. Just good enough to justify the price. The main issue we had was with the food. There were 2 people in my party and we were seated next to a party of 3. We noticed our appetizer portions were smaller compared to theirs and there's nothing to justify it other than group size. Ex: We ordered sliders and received 2 whereas they ordered sliders and received 3. We ordered tuna tacos and received 3 whereas they ordered tuna tacos and received 4. They were clearly not ordering additional orders or it would've been double. After looking through some pictures on Yelp you can clearly see different portion sizes throughout. We felt as if it's due to group size and them potentially trying to save here and there. Overall the restaurant had a great vibe for a date night, but we truly felt as though the pricing wasn't worth what was received. We've been to nicer establishments with better food and drinks for significantly less. Our server/bartender/host was great though and none of this is a reflection on her.

I feel a bit of shame being a Vegas local and sharing that I've legit NEVER been to VooDoo Lounge…read morebefore this past weekend. And what a cool spot it was! We were at the Rio to see a show, and after the show decided we wanted to keep hanging out there and enjoying. At one of the bars we randomly stopped at on the property before the show, one of the bartenders gave us a buy one get one free cocktail for VooDoo Lounge if we went. And there was no cover charge to get in! Sold! We decided to head up there after the show. This spot is locaed on the 51st (I believe) floor of the hotel but you enter on the second floor and take an elevator up. After a quick check our IDs and search of our bags and whatnot, we were able to take the elevators upstairs. As soon as we got there, I booked it for the outside patio. I mean, come on, you have to! This is really what sold me. WOW! It's STUNNING up there! Amazing views on the Strip unlike anything I've ever seen before. There was also a DJ up there and he was playing great music. For a Friday night, it wasn't super busy, but still really nice. We were able to sit wherever we wanted, as the tables and lounge seating was totally open for everyone to enjoy. We took in the beautiful views and each had a cocktail. Our server was outstanding and did a great job waiting on us. Sadly, we were getting a Vegas thunderstorm underway so the DJ had to stop and security all ushered us inside. Still, nonetheless, this was such a cool experience and one I'll continue to talk about. Definitely go if you can!

I'm not sure what kind of transition the place is going through but it's rough in here…read more It's pretty empty when you come in from the parking garage. It was a Saturday night at 9pm, we were greeted by very friendly staff both downstairs and upstairs. We went out to the terrace to enjoy the view and took over a lounge seating space. The 3 of us ordered a fishbowl which was great but we didn't stay longer because the place was empty and the DJ played the same beat for the entire hour we were there. It's a shame that this has gone so downhill. When I went to the bathrooms I noticed the water damage on the walls and the lack of maintenance so it sealed my fate to not return for a while. This used to be the spot but it's a little scary anywhere in the casino.
