A group of ours got together and Petrol Head was the perfect gathering spot! They have TVs everywhere, playing spots and classic films. Very unique, the bar is stocked with so many options. I order a sour on tap and it was awesome! They have a great happy hour too. I ordered the Goyza and it came out hot and crispy! The bartender and server would both also so nice and friendly. This place is so awesome I can't wait to come back for dinner!

It is Really refreshing to go into a new spot and look at the menu and it's not Loaded with the same Stuff as Every Other Bar in town! Then it's even better when your food comes out and it's Obvious that it was hand made in house and not off the back of a Sysco truck! Everything we had was amazing! The drinks were Very tasty, and priced fairly. The motor sports theme is very cool! You kinda got to go through an alley to get here but it's worth it! Food, ambiance and Service were all top notch!

Great hidden gem in Chinatown, Petrol Head is a cool car bar with a great selection of food and drinks. Just did dessert and a couple of drinks this time around. Solid but not very sweet fried ice cream along with fried apple banana lumpia. A mocktail and a beer rounded out the drinks. Cool chill vibe if you're in Chinatown. Service was attentive.

Drinks: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Absolutely LOVED this place! I had no idea this place existed despite frequenting this shopping center often in Chinatown. Lots of parking available. I was so confused at first for the entrance. Lol Walk toward the arch way under the "Petrol Head" sign and keep walking until you see an engine sign and the door will be right under it. Came in for cocktails and my friend and I loved them all. The Pink Slip, Pit Lane Passion, and Silk Road "Hashirua" which were all very good and fruity. Definitely order these if you like your cocktails on the sweeter side. My friend's Nitro Espresso Martini was delicious too! We both like our espresso on the sweeter creamier side than bitter and this one checked the boxes. I want to come back to try more food. We ordered the garlic fries to snack on, which was okay. Our server was very nice and attentive. She checked on us often and at the right times. Ambiance was amazing! I loved the theme they have going on. Vibes are very lowkey yet lively. Decorations are on point. It was pretty dead at around 9pm but it got pretty busy as the night went on. Loved the photo booth they had inside there as well ($7.50 for 2 strips and electronic copies). I definitely recommend this place for cocktails and good vibes. Looking forward to coming back here again!

If you follow Google Maps it'll have you drive behind the shopping plaza and it'll lead to their own parking lot. The venue itself has a fun vibe. Definitely great to watch sports. The ghost lap cocktail was so good that I ordered it again even though I really needed an espresso martini. Service was great but then again we came when they opened and we were the only one there. I got the wings with guava bbq and the pineapple habanero. If you love spicy you'll love the pineapple habanero. My hubby got the bacon burger with fries, fire! My friends got the bulgogi and poke bowl and they said it was good and they would order it again. We all agreed that we'll all be back soon. Especially for HH.

Thanks, Yelp! Was looking for something different that was dog friendly, casual but not fast food, something yummy for girls that are always in the mood for asian food and boys that needed to switch up the flavors - this was it! Fun creative menu for food and drinks and priced reasonable for both. Loved the brunch vibes, clean, cozy, & comfy seating. Service was super friendly and attentive. Loved everything we ordered. My chicken & waffles could have used a little sauce, but chicken had a nice flavor & juicy. Bulgogi was a flavor bomb with a balanced sweet & tangy. Really enjoyed the drinks too and a perfect refresher for these hot days. Adding this spot to my list of favs. Can imagine this place being fun & lively during game days!

THEY HAVE THE GAMES. Came here to watch hockey and definitely one of the best experience watching the games. Firstly the food: very solid, above average for bar food. The Guava Flatbread for $12 was so good. Japanese Curry was also crispy. Bathroom was clean. The server was very attentive. I'll be back :)

Decided to check out Petrol Head with some friends this past Sunday for an early dinner at 5PM. There were five us total and when we walked in, we were able to sit anywhere we liked. They weren't busy at all, which is expected. Since there were five of us, we did try a good portion of their menu, including drinks. There were food items that weren't available that night since they were revamping their menu, which is a bit unfortunate. From the drinks menu: Pink Slip - Light and refreshing with a tad of fruitiness. Orange Overdrive - Lighter and more tropical version of a Mai Tai. Octane Fluff - Smooth and silky with a bit of sweetness. Pit Lane Passion - Fruity Petal to the Metal - Refreshing and sweet, the Kettle One Botanicals gives it a nice floral element Tokyo Drift - Strong, grassy, and gritty. My favorite out of all the drinks was the Octane Fluff. It was super delicious and the toasted marshmallow was a nice added touch. My least favorite was the Tokyo Drift -- it had Rihei (ginger sochu), citrus, layered matcha, and apple sake. While it sounded very interesting and looked amazing, it had plenty of potential but unfortunately, I don't think it was executed that well. The matcha used was really grassy and gritty -- I've actually never had matcha that tasted like grass before but whichever one they used, it sure did. The Rihei was far too strong and did not mesh well at all with the matcha. The apple sake was just there. It was like drinking three separate drinks but all at once. From the food menu: Japanese cucumber salad - tangy, refreshing, and slightly spicy. OG burger - delicious, plenty of flavor, and the fries were really good. Japanese curry fries - curry had great flavor but I did wish it had some meat. Wings - we tried both the guava heat and the miso honey. The guava heat was my favorite, it was sweet with a small kick. Their wings were juicy and super plump, which was great. Shoyu butter pretzel - pretty normal. Nothing special to be honest. Service is a tad slow mainly because the establishment started to fill up and they don't have a dedicated server to the tables. It was fine for us but if you get impatient, that is something to note. Prices are reasonable for the food but it is a tad high for the drinks. They do have a happy hour as well but it doesn't start until 11PM, which is super unfortunately. I would love to see a reverse happy hour sometime for them cause I simply cannot eat that late. I'm honestly pretty impressed with our first visit. It's very rare where I find a bar where I like almost all the food AND the drinks. Everyone in my party would agree as well. They are actually expanding their hours to include brunch on Saturday and Sundays. We can't wait to go back again. Definitely recommend.

This place is a must try I had a friend tell me about this place and I completely forgot about it but after leaving a restaurant and the food was terrible me and my friend were still hungry and wanted to have a drink and this place popped up we are so glad that we went in !!!! The workers were super friendly. The drink menu has some delicious looking cocktails. I only had one and it was so delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more. But a upon arriving and sitting down the bartender told us about the deal they had going on at $10 burger deal that comes with a beer so of course we decided to get one. And oh my gosh, the burger was so delicious definitely might be one of the better burgers that have actually got in Vegas It is definitely a steal of a deal. We cannot wait to return

This restaurant truly stands out. The service is exceptional, the food is absolutely superb, and the drinks are a must-try--especially during the holidays. This is my second time here, and honestly, it just keeps getting better. You definitely need to try their steak with chimichurri; it's a must-order- spicy garlic edamame is so fire. This is a place you run to, not walk. Hands down one of the best spots to visit--definitely a Vegas gate-keep and a place I'll keep coming back. Thank you Marvin (owner) for taking care of us.

One of my favorite recent discoveries is Petrol Head - a "hidden" gem in the cross section of Spring Mountain and Decatur. If you've been to their pastry bakery TOUS le JOURS, Petrol Head is just behind it - access is from the outside. Either park in the front lot and walk through an archway to the back or simply park in the back. Upon walking in, the decor is a beautiful mix of bar, restaurant, automotive/motorsports themed warmth and vibrancy. It's full of character - especially with a 4-post lift with a vehicle on it which is on top of the DJ station. The team members here are incredibly friendly - welcoming you right away. Jenn (at the bar) actually offered to provide us a tour of the entire place which was awesome. She showed us private karaoke rooms along with a room in the back where gatherings happen and movie nights also take place. There's an enclosed outdoor patio that is lit up and is a great space for when the weather permits. The place is kid-friendly as well - the dining area includes several tables. If you like sitting at the bar - it's super big. On to the food - there's various appetizers including wings, loaded fries, smashburgers, sandwiches, and main entree bowls. Looking to try a few different items, we started with wings. We couldn't decide between Guava Heat or Miso Honey which were both highly recommended so we got both. The wings have a really nice crisp to it and I have to commend how the sauce is nicely tossed with the wings. Many places have too much sauce and make the wings soggy - not here! The wings retain their crispness which the sauce flavor is complementing. Next, we tried the pretzel. I actually like that it's a smaller appetizer because a really large pretzel means I'm going to be stuffed. At $7 - it's a great shareable! It comes with a nice queso dip and mustard as well. Next, we tried the OG Smashburger. **HAPPY HOUR TIP** After 11pm, you can get a smashburger, fries, and Heineken for just $10! The burger is a juicy double patty with cheese, petrol sauce, pickles, and a load of onions. It's super tasty and just comfort food. The fries came out fresh with the perfect crisp. Lastly we ended with the Apple Banana Lumpia. Two spring roll wrapped lumpias with a delectable filling of apple banana (yes, apple banana is a thing) and apples. Dusted with some powdered sugar to finish off the dessert, it is a nice balance of sweet to end the night. Now - to the drinks: Espresso Martini - so good! One of the best in the valley. Draft beers - also great! They have an extensive (and unique) drinks menu so there's plenty to explore. All in all - Petrol Head is a great experience. You can tell that they have built a culture of care with every team member being welcoming and kind, providing great service and it's followed up with great drinks and super delicious food. A plus - open late til 1am! Check them out for specials and future events as well.

It had watermelon, flavoring watermelon squares and watermelon flavored Red Bull. I ordered Diet Coke and the first one was horrible. It tasted like it was mixed with something. She was kind enough to pour it out and bring me another one, it unfortunately also had some weird kind of taste. I recommend this place do a deep cleaning. The bar smelled like hot melted metal. The the staff here had no personality whatsoever and was borderline rude and not taking care of the customers. It was a very quiet day and we should've been served with a smile and better attitude. Our waitress was super friendly and really encouraged us to try some things because we really weren't sure about the menu. She was super attentive and we really appreciated that. The reason I'm giving this a three star review (and I feel bad doing so) is because I genuinely hated the drinks. Like viscerally hated. The menu really was a struggle as someone who's a gin drinker. There wasn't a lot on the menu which I'm often used to, but the drinks were either cloyingly sweet or incredibly tart and bitter. There seems to lack of balance and there were a lot of really weird flavors that really didn't seem to go together. Now I can't speak on every single drink on the menu, but I did try a couple that are either premixed or on tap and I really struggled with them. I was excited about the ginger drink, and I was given a taste of their homemade ginger beer, and it felt like it was going to burn a hole through my stomach. Which is typically not my reaction to anything gender flavored. I just think the balance of flavors are not quite right and so certain things overpowered other flavors. I ended up really not wanting anything on the menu because everything was so rum based and I really don't like rum, so they offered to make me a cocktail with some flavors that I liked. They told me they had passionfruit, which I was really excited about. It usually is a really nice combination of sweet but not too sweet and good fruity flavor. I had a passionfruit gin drink made, and it was absolutely gorgeous coming out. Unfortunately, what I didn't know was that the passionfruit that they have is on the very sour and tart side (contained by a staff member later), which has never been my experience with passionfruit in the past. One of the things that I told the waitress was that I really don't like sour. I like citrus but not something that is so overly sour that it tastes like I'm eating a warhead. And the drink that was made for me had both lemon and this really tart passionfruit to the point all I could taste was this awful sour flavor. I felt bad and drank it and was not about to ask it off the bill because they were so kind about everything. The drink ended up only being nine dollars and I genuinely wonder if they undercharged me, but I felt a lot better that that's all I paid for it. Aesthetically it was beautiful, but it tasted horrible. I tried my friends drink, which was a play on a margarita with Mezcal, and that was also incredibly bitter and sour. I'm not someone who needs disgustingly sweet drinks, hence me not liking rum, but I do need a balance of sweetness with the other flavors. My friend thought her drink was OK, but she said she wouldn't order it again. I would definitely give this location another shot if I could figure out a drink that would work, but it seems their drinks either are very sour or very sweet and I'm hoping that at some point they will be able to find a good balance between the two.

We shared the Vietnamese meatballs for appetizer which were a really good size and you really only needed 2. For entree we ordered the Lomo Saltado. The beef was lean and tender. The sauce was so good and flavorful. For drinks I got the lychee bloom. From first sip, I was a huge fan. Sweet and didn't lack any lychee taste. The presentation was also beautiful. My husband ordered the Philosopher's rum which he really enjoyed. The bartender was also trying out a new recipe of a key lime cocktail which is one of my husbands favorites. He loved the cocktail so much he ordered a second. We already frequent Chinatown, but this will definitely be added to our regular rotation. We're planning a trip back already to try more drinks and menu items.

My very first visit to Weera Thai Restaurant was within Shanghai Plaza Las Vegas. I loved it so…read moremuch I had to check out their other locations. I came here with both my daughters. Emmie was our server. She was impeccable with her friendliness and amazing service. Her attention and care throughout our dining was top-notch. Thank you Emmie! Shared parking with other biz within plaza are available right up front of the restaurant. Ambiance inside was beautifully decorated with a cozy feel. Menu options were abundant. Despite of the selections, we usually go with our go-tos. We couldn't ask for a better meal. Everything was delish with a few exceptions. 1. Panang Curry lunch special that comes with soup, salad, wonton, and rice - taste and flavor were just okay, but portions were quite adequate 2. Baa Mee Hang - amazingly tasty, but portions were small 3. Papaya Salad with shrimp - wonderfully put together with fresh quality ingredients, tasted great with mild spice made just right, it comes with 4 huge shrimps, wished it came with 6 huge shrimps 4. Pad Thai with chicken - one of the best dishes! SO GOOD!! 5. Pad Woon Sen with chicken - I originally asked for seafood, but got chicken instead which was fine. Glass noodles became mushy towards the end. They need to use a different brand of glass noodles that's a bit firmer. 7. Stuffed Chicken Wings - surprisingly good, love the crispiness of the skin, seasoning was quite flavorful, came with 2 wings, 3 wings would have been better 8. Thai Iced Tea - PERFECT! Must get every time. 9. Thai Iced Coffee - good, not too sweet 10. Coconut Cream Ice Cream - a must get delectable dessert to end our meal, SO YUMMY! Each dish averaged about $20+ or so. Bill came and it was a whopping $140+ before tip. After tip, it was $170.00 out the door. Yes, big delicious meals come with a price! It's always well worth it. Highly recommend Weera Thai!

Marisa Cocina & Cocktails is the place to be in Las Vegas for brunch/food in general…read more Food: chicken and French toast, chicken and waffles, eggs, and the hot sausage was really tasty and seasoned. The margaritas were strong and so good. Service: the service was average as the place was packed. However our waiter made sure we were good in his section. They do need more waiters due to the extreme business of the resturant. Ambiance: the place is fire, energetic, lively, and full of fun. It's spacious with a live DJ keeping the music and vibez going! There's an area for pictures including 360 photo booth etc. My overall score is 4.5/5.0 will be back for sure!!! Score would've been higher if the service was quicker.

Mariposa Brunch - Las Vegas…read more If you're looking for a brunch spot with great energy, Mariposa definitely delivers. The vibe was amazing! There was a live DJ, a hype man keeping the crowd engaged, and an overall fun atmosphere that made it feel like a party. The food was delicious--think soul food brunch with flavorful dishes--and the drinks were just as good. My biggest piece of advice: make a reservation. If you don't have one, be prepared to wait. We were initially told the wait would be about 45 minutes, but after waiting that long, we were told we still had to wait until all guests with reservations had been seated. Since reservations kept arriving, it felt like we might never get a table. After speaking with management and going back and forth, we were finally seated after about an hour. Once seated, it also took a while for our food to arrive, but the quality of the food, drinks, and overall experience made it worth it. Just know that Mariposa is off the Las Vegas Strip, so you'll need to venture away from the Strip to get there. Overall, if you make a reservation ahead of time, you'll likely have a much smoother experience. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are absolutely worth checking out.
