Came for brunch. Stayed for the vibes. Might be my favorite brunch spot in Vegas. Tried their Cobb Salad, Mochiko Chicken Bites, Breakfast Flatbread, and Ube French Toast. Every dish was carefully thought out and well executed. They had an excellent selection of craft cocktails and the bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable. I'll be back at night for karaoke

It is Really refreshing to go into a new spot and look at the menu and it's not Loaded with the same Stuff as Every Other Bar in town! Then it's even better when your food comes out and it's Obvious that it was hand made in house and not off the back of a Sysco truck! Everything we had was amazing! The drinks were Very tasty, and priced fairly. The motor sports theme is very cool! You kinda got to go through an alley to get here but it's worth it! Food, ambiance and Service were all top notch!

Thanks, Yelp! Was looking for something different that was dog friendly, casual but not fast food, something yummy for girls that are always in the mood for asian food and boys that needed to switch up the flavors - this was it! Fun creative menu for food and drinks and priced reasonable for both. Loved the brunch vibes, clean, cozy, & comfy seating. Service was super friendly and attentive. Loved everything we ordered. My chicken & waffles could have used a little sauce, but chicken had a nice flavor & juicy. Bulgogi was a flavor bomb with a balanced sweet & tangy. Really enjoyed the drinks too and a perfect refresher for these hot days. Adding this spot to my list of favs. Can imagine this place being fun & lively during game days!

THEY HAVE THE GAMES. Came here to watch hockey and definitely one of the best experience watching the games. Firstly the food: very solid, above average for bar food. The Guava Flatbread for $12 was so good. Japanese Curry was also crispy. Bathroom was clean. The server was very attentive. I'll be back :)

Decided to check out Petrol Head with some friends this past Sunday for an early dinner at 5PM. There were five us total and when we walked in, we were able to sit anywhere we liked. They weren't busy at all, which is expected. Since there were five of us, we did try a good portion of their menu, including drinks. There were food items that weren't available that night since they were revamping their menu, which is a bit unfortunate. From the drinks menu: Pink Slip - Light and refreshing with a tad of fruitiness. Orange Overdrive - Lighter and more tropical version of a Mai Tai. Octane Fluff - Smooth and silky with a bit of sweetness. Pit Lane Passion - Fruity Petal to the Metal - Refreshing and sweet, the Kettle One Botanicals gives it a nice floral element Tokyo Drift - Strong, grassy, and gritty. My favorite out of all the drinks was the Octane Fluff. It was super delicious and the toasted marshmallow was a nice added touch. My least favorite was the Tokyo Drift -- it had Rihei (ginger sochu), citrus, layered matcha, and apple sake. While it sounded very interesting and looked amazing, it had plenty of potential but unfortunately, I don't think it was executed that well. The matcha used was really grassy and gritty -- I've actually never had matcha that tasted like grass before but whichever one they used, it sure did. The Rihei was far too strong and did not mesh well at all with the matcha. The apple sake was just there. It was like drinking three separate drinks but all at once. From the food menu: Japanese cucumber salad - tangy, refreshing, and slightly spicy. OG burger - delicious, plenty of flavor, and the fries were really good. Japanese curry fries - curry had great flavor but I did wish it had some meat. Wings - we tried both the guava heat and the miso honey. The guava heat was my favorite, it was sweet with a small kick. Their wings were juicy and super plump, which was great. Shoyu butter pretzel - pretty normal. Nothing special to be honest. Service is a tad slow mainly because the establishment started to fill up and they don't have a dedicated server to the tables. It was fine for us but if you get impatient, that is something to note. Prices are reasonable for the food but it is a tad high for the drinks. They do have a happy hour as well but it doesn't start until 11PM, which is super unfortunately. I would love to see a reverse happy hour sometime for them cause I simply cannot eat that late. I'm honestly pretty impressed with our first visit. It's very rare where I find a bar where I like almost all the food AND the drinks. Everyone in my party would agree as well. They are actually expanding their hours to include brunch on Saturday and Sundays. We can't wait to go back again. Definitely recommend.

This place is a must try I had a friend tell me about this place and I completely forgot about it but after leaving a restaurant and the food was terrible me and my friend were still hungry and wanted to have a drink and this place popped up we are so glad that we went in !!!! The workers were super friendly. The drink menu has some delicious looking cocktails. I only had one and it was so delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more. But a upon arriving and sitting down the bartender told us about the deal they had going on at $10 burger deal that comes with a beer so of course we decided to get one. And oh my gosh, the burger was so delicious definitely might be one of the better burgers that have actually got in Vegas It is definitely a steal of a deal. We cannot wait to return

This place is the definition of cool. The aesthetic of this joint is amazing. The service here is top notch. They really make you feel at home here. Will definitely make the trip from California to come back here. The food is so good too. And the bartenders put some passion into their drinks. Can't say enough good things about Petrol Head. Loved this place

This restaurant truly stands out. The service is exceptional, the food is absolutely superb, and the drinks are a must-try--especially during the holidays. This is my second time here, and honestly, it just keeps getting better. You definitely need to try their steak with chimichurri; it's a must-order- spicy garlic edamame is so fire. This is a place you run to, not walk. Hands down one of the best spots to visit--definitely a Vegas gate-keep and a place I'll keep coming back. Thank you Marvin (owner) for taking care of us.

One of my favorite recent discoveries is Petrol Head - a "hidden" gem in the cross section of Spring Mountain and Decatur. If you've been to their pastry bakery TOUS le JOURS, Petrol Head is just behind it - access is from the outside. Either park in the front lot and walk through an archway to the back or simply park in the back. Upon walking in, the decor is a beautiful mix of bar, restaurant, automotive/motorsports themed warmth and vibrancy. It's full of character - especially with a 4-post lift with a vehicle on it which is on top of the DJ station. The team members here are incredibly friendly - welcoming you right away. Jenn (at the bar) actually offered to provide us a tour of the entire place which was awesome. She showed us private karaoke rooms along with a room in the back where gatherings happen and movie nights also take place. There's an enclosed outdoor patio that is lit up and is a great space for when the weather permits. The place is kid-friendly as well - the dining area includes several tables. If you like sitting at the bar - it's super big. On to the food - there's various appetizers including wings, loaded fries, smashburgers, sandwiches, and main entree bowls. Looking to try a few different items, we started with wings. We couldn't decide between Guava Heat or Miso Honey which were both highly recommended so we got both. The wings have a really nice crisp to it and I have to commend how the sauce is nicely tossed with the wings. Many places have too much sauce and make the wings soggy - not here! The wings retain their crispness which the sauce flavor is complementing. Next, we tried the pretzel. I actually like that it's a smaller appetizer because a really large pretzel means I'm going to be stuffed. At $7 - it's a great shareable! It comes with a nice queso dip and mustard as well. Next, we tried the OG Smashburger. **HAPPY HOUR TIP** After 11pm, you can get a smashburger, fries, and Heineken for just $10! The burger is a juicy double patty with cheese, petrol sauce, pickles, and a load of onions. It's super tasty and just comfort food. The fries came out fresh with the perfect crisp. Lastly we ended with the Apple Banana Lumpia. Two spring roll wrapped lumpias with a delectable filling of apple banana (yes, apple banana is a thing) and apples. Dusted with some powdered sugar to finish off the dessert, it is a nice balance of sweet to end the night. Now - to the drinks: Espresso Martini - so good! One of the best in the valley. Draft beers - also great! They have an extensive (and unique) drinks menu so there's plenty to explore. All in all - Petrol Head is a great experience. You can tell that they have built a culture of care with every team member being welcoming and kind, providing great service and it's followed up with great drinks and super delicious food. A plus - open late til 1am! Check them out for specials and future events as well.

I came here last week for an after SEMA party and was pleasantly surprised! Petrol head has such a cool vibe, it's honestly going to be my new go to bar. The staff are kind, the owner, Marvin, was so welcoming and attentive. Their drinks were yummy! I haven't had a chance to try their food yet, but I will be back. My only concern was that the prices were a little bit high, but honestly I will gladly overlook that for the cool experience!

Found Petrol Head on Yelp! Absolutely loved this place for what we got to experience in our short visit & I hope to bring my family & friends back. Alex our bartender was so nice & I really liked his customer service as we had questions about alternating the drinks & questions on the menu. The food was delicious & flavorful & I thought it was priced well for what we ordered. We came in on a Saturday night around 10:30 & it didn't see too busy. Nice at atmosphere, good music & the Halloween decorations were cool! Will definitely be back.

If you haven't been, go check them out! Great service, great food and drinks. They are located behind Tous Les Jours and have their own parking space. Great place to hang out very cool spot. They have private rooms if you want to sing karaoke or just hang out and watch the game while having good food and drinks. The smashburger is our favorite. The wings are good and the kahlua pork fries is also a must try. For the mains, we tried the shoyu ginger salmon rice bowl The interior is well thought of! Automotive theme and there's even a vehicle inside on a carlift.

Once I stepped foot inside and saw a completely packed house with an hour and a half wait and barely standing room at the bar, I knew it was worth whatever wait or process I had to go through. Ultimately I lucked out as an individual. I was able to snag a bar top seat pretty quickly and had I known then I was sitting down to what was going to be one of the best meals of my life, I would have been visibly more excited. Not only was the service absolutely top notch, the people and the regulars there were extremely friendly and outgoing. The vibe was perfect, a strange mix of a place that felt like it had been there for 200 years yet was somehow high energy and vibey. From a killer cocktail recommendation to one of the best steaks I've had in my life and coming from Oklahoma City, where I work a mile away from the stockyards and can get great quality fresh beef six ways from Sunday, that's saying a lot. I usually despise most things truffle but if I was forced to eat that truffle mac and cheese every day for the rest of my life I would consider it a life well lived. While I would have never ordered it on my own, a customer next to me recommended the porn star cocktail and I have to say it was also one of the most delicious things I've ever had in my life. Ten out of ten, top notch experience. Would recommend. Will be back every time I'm in Vegas, no questions asked.

The handsome chef came out to greet us and explained the menu and answered all of our questions. He served us the Korean fried chicken. Very crispy skin. Flavorful with a little bit of spice. Sat on a bed of greens. Next we ordered the sea bass. Light and flaky. Served with coconut rice and a mole sauce. The top was crispy too. The sides paired well with the fish. Also ordered the rib eye mole. The steak was tender and juicy. The smoked mole sauce was so good. Tasted very authentic and we were very surprised that the chiles actually came from Huahaca (?? I'm not much of a drinker so when I asked John, who is also a very talented mixologist, to make me something that tasted like juice, he delivered this beautiful lychee "martini". The presentation was amazing. And went well with my fish. They had me try the pickle drink. The foam on top was good and the "margarita" at the bottom was good too. They even surprised us with tofu cheesecake. I don't like tofu or cheescake, but wow, this dessert was light. Not overly sweet. It was a perfect way to end the meal. The Chef and John and the other mixologist from Thailand were so friendly that even when we finished our meal, they shared stories with us. It's spacious with a live DJ keeping the music and vibez going! There's an area for pictures including 360 photo booth etc. My overall score is 4.5/5.0 will be back for sure!!! Score would've been higher if the service was quicker.

Mariposa Brunch - Las Vegas…read more If you're looking for a brunch spot with great energy, Mariposa definitely delivers. The vibe was amazing! There was a live DJ, a hype man keeping the crowd engaged, and an overall fun atmosphere that made it feel like a party. The food was delicious--think soul food brunch with flavorful dishes--and the drinks were just as good. My biggest piece of advice: make a reservation. If you don't have one, be prepared to wait. We were initially told the wait would be about 45 minutes, but after waiting that long, we were told we still had to wait until all guests with reservations had been seated. Since reservations kept arriving, it felt like we might never get a table. After speaking with management and going back and forth, we were finally seated after about an hour. Once seated, it also took a while for our food to arrive, but the quality of the food, drinks, and overall experience made it worth it. Just know that Mariposa is off the Las Vegas Strip, so you'll need to venture away from the Strip to get there. Overall, if you make a reservation ahead of time, you'll likely have a much smoother experience. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are absolutely worth checking out.
