This restaurant offers beautiful ocean views and delicious food. However, be prepared to pay $5.45 per hour for parking. I'm giving it three stars because my French fries were cold, and the waitress never checked on us once the food arrived at the table. My water cup was empty while I was eating. I dined here at 12:00 p.m. on a Friday, so the place wasn't packed, but it did have a decent crowd. As a local, there are a lot better dining options in the city, but definitely a convenient spot if you're at the beach. read more

Great addition to Dania Beach! I have been to the Pompano Beach location, so I was excited to see a new location open up with great ocean views. Plenty of outdoor seating near their large tiki bar. Be warned, it can be very windy. Bring a hair clip or wear a hat, otherwise it may become a hairy situation. The food was great! My favorite item is the Tuna Poke Nachos, but tried blackened shrimp tacos on this occasion and they were really good! Our server and rest of the staff were friendly and attentive. Parking (pay by app) can be a bit tricky if on a busy beach day, and occasionally Dania Beach employees are forced to temporarily close the parking lot. Be patient and/or opt to go earlier that you want to eat just in case. Definitely worth a visit! read more

Food was good. The tuna poke bowl came with a great amount of tuna in it. VERY FRESH! Service; our bartender attending us was named Emilie. VERY attentive and constantly came around asking if we were ok. Manager was Shane. Came around twice while there asking if everything was ok. It wasn't. Bees are a little annoying. Asked him about it and in all sincerity, he made a very valid point! We are in an open environment and nature has a home here. We respected his honesty. 4 stars because of the bees. Our recommendation, get bit by a bee, get 1 free drink. 1 per customer. Other than the bees, the experience was great. read more

What a great spot on Dania Beach! It's right off the beach, with great views of the waves and lots of breezes (be prepared with a hair tie or cap so your hair isn't blowing everywhere!) The menu isn't huge or varied- mostly fish dishes, but they are simple and just done well! I've had the fish tacos and fish bowl. The blackened mahi is delicious, and is a good portion of fish in each order. The tacos have been my favorite so far. The sauce is good and light and it's a good portion of fish. Service is great too. I thought they would be disorganized being so new but they seem to have figured it out! It's feels like there are plenty of servers around for everyone. I haven't had any mixed drinks from the bar yet so I can't report on that. There is live music nightly also to set the mood right. Parking can be tough- not a lot of spots in the area and it can get quickly crowded on a nice beach day. Overall, definitely check this brand new restaurant out! read more

We happened to stop by and were overall impressed. Our server Kaitlyn was very attentive and really all of the staff were beyond friendly. A cool area with tiki tables and bar. Service was extremely friendly, we were greeted upon check in and the managers came by as well. The portions here are large! Poke nachos were a hit. My 12 year old enjoyed the double cheeseburger and my 9 year old enjoyed the foot long hot dog. The shrimp poboy was massive and the blackened fish sandwich was perfect. Lucky Fish is a very cool place with a beach vibe. I was pleased with my Mahi Sandwich and fries. The other member in my party had the cheese burger and was pleased, as well. They have good portions. Reasonably priced for being right on the ocean. The service was efficient with a friendly staff. We sat in the area away from the bar. Relaxing and comfortable. After dinner I went over to see the entertainment, a single guy playing the guitar. Very talented. Overall, a great experience and will for sure return. read more

Very disappointing and unclear billing experience. We were charged a $60 tip on a $203 bill--almost 30%--without our consent. The server had told us that the tip was not included, yet this amount was added to the transaction. She also did not bring us the receipt after processing the payment. I had to ask for it to find out what we had been charged. Because I did not agree to such a high tip, I requested that the entire transaction be voided. Customers should be clearly informed of any gratuity before payment, and receipts should be provided immediately. This was not handled transparently or professionally. read more

Some of the best views in South FL! I love the way they have this place set up. Seriously gorgeous views of the Dania Beach. We visited at 11am on Sunday and it wasn't too busy. we got a seat at a table upstairs and enjoyed our beer & alcoholic seltzer. they have a decent drink menu with your typical choices plus some specialty cocktails. we ordered the fresh guac but it came out brown. I took a bite and the waitress was nearby and asked how it was. It tasted as if the avocado used had gone bad. She quickly took it away and got a new one made. The second one tasted a bit fresher but overall I think they need to check the avocados they are using. You can see from my photo the color of the guac was not fresh at all. the chef came out and asked how the guac was after it was remade. the staff was attentive and friendly. My husband really enjoyed his BLTA (BLT with avocado) and the fries were delicious with unique seasoning. We also got the wings which were supposed to be flavored with pineapple but had no pineapple flavor at all. the food was really underwhelming which is unfortunate but we will definitely be back for the drinks and views. they have valet parking for $40 or $10 with validation. there is also lots of parking via paybyphone in the beach lot which we paid $10 for two hours. read more

Went to Lucky Fish today and it was a disaster from start to finish. First off, there is no parking. You're forced to use the beach pay parking at $5/hour, that's if you can even find a spot that isn't a kilometer away, and there's no valet. That should be clearly communicated upfront. When it came time to seat us, the host actually said: "Actually, my manager just gave that table to someone else who was already seated but wanted it." So instead of honoring our table, we were moved to a much worse spot -- unprofessional and frustrating. Then the service... wow. I asked about a beer listed on the menu, and the server's response was simply: "I don't know." No offer to check, no explanation -- just a blank stare. If you don't know, say you'll find out. That's basic service. We were seated directly in the afternoon sun and had to move ourselves. After moving, no one seemed to know who our new server even was, which makes me question whether they're understaffed or just poorly managed. Drink service was painfully slow. * Ordered a beer never arrived (30+ minutes later) * Ordered waters and two Cokes water + one Coke after 15 minutes * Had to ask again for the second Coke another 5 minutes At this point I've been here 50 minutes and only waters and coke, it didn't matter how the food tasted -- I had zero interest in staying or ever returning. Something tells me the food wouldn't have redeemed the experience anyway. Disorganized, inattentive, and shockingly incompetent service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place entirely. read more

I took my mom to this restaurant for Mother's Day lunch. She asked to go to a restaurant that was on the water and has outside seating. This place fit her request spot on! We chose to sit under the tiki hut side and the views of the ocean were spectacular. The food and drinks were average and worth another visit. I hear the nightly live music is a real vibe. My very first Yelp review although I hit restaurants & Yelp everywhere I go around the USA & it's my food & beverage Bible. I went to Dania Beach Lucky Fish based on their website saying they serve the real "Painkiller cocktail with Navy Pussers rum. I watched the female bartender pour white rum from the well & when I asked her why she didn't use Pussers I was told they didn't carry it anymore with a guilty look on her face. Shane Francis the GM handled the situation perfectly & told me that was ridiculous because they do in fact still carry Pussers. Voila ...he approached the bartender & the Pussers suddenly appeared. She either lied, or was told to give customers who aren't aware or aren't paying attention to the rum to give them the cheap stuff. Lucky Fish would save a lot of money on that FALSE ADVERTISING. SHAME! After this I'll contact Corporate. CUSTOMERS in Dania Beach deserve better. read more

Pretty disappointing experience the other evening at a place we go to minimum 3 days a week. Bartenders are great as always (Lacie) and my wife wanted a snack from the HH menu. Lacie said oh it's after 6:00 PM (it was 6:03) and that she would ask. She came back to tell us the KM said no. Chicken nachos. 3 or 4 ingredients. And the answer was no. I've never dinged him for his food, especially the French fries which are never hot. Keeping a bowl of fries sitting around and serving them literally ruins a meal. But, I'm getting off topic. Nice big open new restaurant on Dania Beach! Lucky fish is completely covered outdoor restaurant with tons of high and low top tables but tons of bar seating! We went on Friday and caught the tail end of happy hour which is from 3-6. Live music started after happy hour ended. We sat at the bar for drinks and food. The service was pretty good along with the happy hour margaritas. We shared the coconut shrimp and fried fish sandwich. I loved the mango salsa that came on the sandwich and with the coconut shrimp. The food was decent (3.5) but the ambience was great! Perfect spot to go with family, on a date, or after a day at the beach! read more

Very busy Saturday afternoon, an hour wait. We grabbed delicious drinks from the bar. The hostess, Morgan, was great and kept us abreast of our wait. Service was good. Our dinners were tasty with the exception of the conch fritters, raw in the middle yet burnt on the outside. We sent them back. The next order was just about the same. We just missed the music but we'll make it a point to get there earlier next time. The manager introduced himself and was very welcoming. The last time I was at Dania Beach, there was just a small, dilapidated hot dog shack here. What a surprise! The Lucky Fish is a large, beautiful bar and restaurant now. The atmosphere is all about the outdoors and the Florida beach experience. There is a stage for live music and a large bar in the middle of a tiki hut style circular building. I enjoyed the smoked fish dip appetizer with freshly made nacho chips, pickled onions and sliced jalapeños. I also got the shrimp tacos that were tasty and filling. After dinner, we walked on the beach where I found the city had put out trash grabbers and plastic baskets for picking up litter as you stroll. I happily volunteered. First of all, I was pleasantly surprised that there really wasn't much litter at all. Secondly, I was also surprised at how much I collected in a half hour, just small pieces at a time. Bottle caps, bits of plastic, a wayward sock. Apparently that's where some socks disappear to...I always wondered. read more
