New low price option. Lunch for less than $10. Hope this is not just a grand opening thing & is permanent. And drives some competition

What an unbelievable selection of dishes! I don't think I've ever seen such a diverse spread at a hot table Chinese restaurant. There was a variety of chicken, pork, beef, and fish dishes, as well as multiple different types of noodles. Unfortunately we weren't super hungry so we just got a plate to share instead of trying everything my eyes wanted. But all that we got was quite delicious! They are cash and venmo only, so come prepared!

8/22/25 FYI. Two item combo with fried rice. Spareribs & duck. $8.50.

I don't typically write an update so soon, but I felt that this business warranted it. Quality/Quantity - We ordered for our guest two "Lunch Boxes" for ONLY $8.50 each. This place has got to be one of the least expensive lunch places in SF! Lunch box 1 = Steam rice with BBQ pork, bitter melon with shrimp & fish. Lunch box 2 = Fried rice with spareribs & duck. Still decent portions and of course, good flavors. Atmosphere - Still a new business, where everything is brand new (sorry except the bathroom floors). It looked good overall. See pictures. One unisex restroom in the back. Plenty of tables and good to see them being used on this trip. Service - The owner and the team were very welcoming and patient as we let our guest pick her own food. (She was NOT happy the last time I picked for her, as I chose too many vegan dishes, lol) Price - $18.36, Inexpensive. Especially for SF pricing!! Cash only. Owner Comment - Congrats since your opening on 12/19/24; wishing you the best. And we are regular customers now. :)

Amazing value, fed the two of us for only $9.20 total ($8.50 + tax). If you get white rice instead of noodles, you can choose 3 things instead of 2 for the same price. One of the best deals in the city! There are several tables to sit at in the back, which is why we always come here instead of some of the other similar stores on Clement St. Service can be hit or miss depending on who's taking your order, but in general the experience is not too stressful. Cash only (they might take Venmo too)

It's not easy finding cheap eats in San Francisco, but Lucky Eats does a great job in my opinion! They have a lot of meat, vegetable options with rice/noodles as well. You can get a plate of food for about ~$9, and the portions are pretty big. They also have some tables in the back where you can sit and eat at. If you don't have cash, they also take venmo!

Walked past this spot and decided to try it. At first glance, the prices got our attention for the 3 item special with rice, and the food looked decent through the window. Got the eggplant, chicken and mushroom, and fried fish with plain rice. We paid $9.20. Everything had good flavor, tasted fresh, and wasn't overly oily. But the entrees were definitely quite heavy on the corn starch, making it extra goopy. The scoops of entrees aren't as big as wing lee, but here you get 3 instead of 2 choices of entree for around same price, so it's a choice you can make for yourself. Service was quick and there's nice seating inside.

Second time at this place. This time we bought six bento, all for $50. Three items bento that comes with rice. Not bad at all. All the foods were delicious. I would come back and get bento here anytime. Food is tasty and very reasonable price.

Huzzah! Bounty of food and deals galore. Just ask! 3-item combo - a complete meal - for how much? Whaaaa

They have really Good vegetarian options with the bean curd veggie wraps!! We are back again for the $8 meal deal for 3 items!! It's pretty darn good. I like the variety of hot food that they have. I get their lean pork patties, and the meat sauces go well with rice! Here, you can get a second taste of Chinatown if you miss it! The people are awesome too! There may be a line oftentimes, but it moves quickly.

Tip: CASH ONLY All the food are premade. This used to be Taiwan Restaurant. They had been opened for two months. They are currently offering a grand opening 20% off discount. When we walked in, there was a short line. However, the line moves fairly quick. They change their selections of entrees everyday besides the basics like chow mein, chow fun, and rice noodles. We ordered different entrees to try. We got two orders of the three items over steamed rice for $8.00 each. The curry chicken, stuffed tofu, and fried shrimp were very tasty. The braised chicken feet was $6.50 per pound and they were very flavorful. The stuffed bean curd was $6.50 for four. The fillings were shredded carrots, black fungus, and vermicelli. They were just as good as the ones at the dim sum restaurants. The stuffed tofu was $6.50 for six pieces. The bbq pork chow mein was $4.99 a pound. They were just ok. They were stingy on the bbq pork and shredded carrots. I felt like I was paying only for noodles. The prices are fairly reasonable and the employees are friendly. I will definitely come back to try their turnip cakes, pumpkin cake, and other entrees. However, they ran out of some of the entrees when I got there. I guess I will try to go there earlier next time for more selections.

Cash ONLY. $8.99/$9.20 w/tax. 3 item w/ rice or noodles. Try: steamed chicken or fish with sauce on the rice is perfect. Beef and green beans. Pork riblets. BBQ pork. Can't go wrong!

Went to Lucky Food ( not the Supermarket) on Clement street. It was a lucky surprise to find this new place for Chinese fresh hot food BBQ and Dim Sum spot. It's the grand opening and the neighborhood seems excited about the place . I got the fish cake which was savory and the Chow Mein with the sticky rice very good. The food is delicious and fresh. I had to christen the new bathroom quickly. Lots of seating. Come to Clement and get a plate of food at this new Lucky place Were it has Chinese cuisine and dim sum along with fish paste

The crispy chicken was recommended by the server and it truly did not disappoint. The chicken was crisp and juicy and the noodles were cooked perfectly. For drinks we got the Thai iced tea, butterfly lychee fizz, and the coconut milk latte. I got the Thai ice tea less sweet and it was perfect for me ( I usually don't like it super sweet). In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

They had a nice crisp on the outside and were soft on the inside. I also got a regular coffee, and they do unlimited refills. The place was busy for brunch, and I liked the bear theme. Some of the coffees came in bear-shaped glasses, and some of the lattes had a decorative bear made out of ice.
