It's nice on the outside, though very utilitarian in n the inside. They seemed a bit scattered when I arrived, though I didn't see many occupied tables. I ordered the cashew chicken lunch. Decent portions though very bland. Even the hot & sour soup didn't have the level of flavor in used to. They are new so I'll check back in a few months.

Lucky Garden restaurant is located in the Grapevine Shopping Center in Cotati. I was there for a late lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. I was very much surprised to find the dining room over half full with customers at 2:45pm. They seated me on the far side of the dining room, and I waited about 5-mins for someone to bring me a menu. A young lady brings me the lunch menu, and we discuss what's good to order. I decide on "Ginger Scallion Fish and Fried Rice lunch plate," and Potstickers. OMG! The lunch plate is 5-stars delicious! Generous portions! The Ginger Fish was fresh, moist, and tasty. The fried rice was moist and showed the charring of "wok hei." The egg roll was crispy and had crunchy shredded veggies. The hot 'n sour soup was perfect in taste and appearance. However, the potstickers were the frozen type, and had no flavor. I had to drown them in soy vinegar and soy sauce to eat them. If this restaurant has so much business, they should offer "house made" potstickers. Ginger Fish Lunch Plate, Price $14.45 Potstickers (6), Price $10.85 This is a nice spacious restaurant. It has separate mens and womens restrooms. Lots of free parking in the shared lot. Overall, a very good first time experience and I would return. Perhaps I will try the Wor Won Ton Soup next time.

Good luck to Lucky Garden! Our server told us the restaurant opened just a fortnight ago. The takeaway orders were pinging during our time in the dining room; must be good, eh? Yes it most certainly was. Of course, we ordered too much, but everything was delicious and plentiful.

We went here for our first time tonight. It was excellent. The service was good and the food was even better. It's a must try. You won't be sorry. :)))

We have waited anxiously for the opening of Lucky Garden and am pleased to share it was worth the wait. Upon entering you can appreciate the bright open space. We were greeted warmly by the staff. The menu offers plenty of menu options. The menus themselves are bright, clean & easy to read. My friend and I shared the vegetable potstickers and agreed that they were extremely good. We liked that the exterior was crispy with tasty vegetables inside. I ordered the spicy tofu dish, which was quite plentiful and I loved the freshness of the vegetables and the tasty spicy sauce. Our server was a delightful young lady, I actually recognized her as a former neighbor. The owner, Kelly, has such a pleasant personality, and after speaking with her, we could tell she clearly put a lot of thought into this restaurant. We plan to visit again and often. I think you should check it out as well if you want fresh tasty and affordable Chinese food.

My wife and I were very excited to see the grand opening signs. Luckily the wait was worth it as the food was delicious. We took our food togo as we were short on time (and i forgot to take photos before eating so forgive the lack of full portions in the images). Bbq pork buns (steamed char siu bao) were filled generously with plenty of flavor. The bao themselves were not dry or dense. Vegetable fried rice had a good balance of veggies. They were not over seasoned and the rice still had a good firmness Lemon chicken had a nice fry to them (and we were pleased that they weren't 'nuggets of chicken but actual breaded chicken). The sauce had a fresh lemon taste and was just the right consistency. Walnut sweet buns - perfect as our "dessert". Nice bites of walnuts with a sweet sauce inside (similar to a cinnamon roll in flavor). The bun itself was soft and looked amazing. Overall great experience. The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions without issue. Restaurant itself is clean, well decorated and welcoming. We will definitely return.

I stopped at China Village for a late lunch on a Thursday around 4pm…read more I was very impressed with the beautiful decor of the lobby and spacious dining room. They also have private dining areas for groups. The waiter let me know lunch service was over, but he would include soup in my meal. I looked over the large menu, and decided to get something simple. I ordered: - Wor Won Ton Soup, Small $13.65 - Potstickers, House Made, (6), $11.95 - Ice water w/ Lemon, free Okay, I thought the Wor Won Ton Soup was a little skimpy for $13.65. It only had 6 dumplings, some chicken, and lots of veggies. It's clearly a dinner soup, but it's not priced that way. The house made potstickers were very good. They were plump and juicy. They were perfect with the soy vinegar sauce provided. Service was very attentive. I was seated near the wait station, and the waiter seemed to be expecting me to ask for something. Maybe because there's no condiments on the table. I did ask for chopsticks. This place does alot of takeout and delivery orders. Overall a good experience. I might come back and try the claypots.

The wait staff is very straight forward and to the point. Some may find this rude, while others may find this efficient. They are also very friendly once you go more often and they get to know you. They are quick and food comes out as ready, which I appreciate to get it hot (rather than waiting on everything all at once). Their lunch special is a killer deal. Typically a small appetizer, cup of soup, and choice of entree with fried rice or chow mein for around $10 or so. We typically stick to the pork fried rice, vegetable chow mein, princess chicken or orange chicken, spicy green beans, and spring rolls. My husband loves their sweet and sour soup on the lunch special, I prefer their wonton soup (which they will exchange for you if you just ask). There is plenty of room inside, and the other half of the building can accommodate large parties or private gatherings.

I decided to grab lunch here after seeing the great Yelp rating. The place has a clean and colorful interior. I ordered the Mongolian Beef Lunch plate, and Iced Tea. I noticed this place has very attentive service. The iced tea was served in a carafe with a glass loaded with ice and lemon slices. The tea was strong, so when it was poured over the ice, it was perfect! The lunch included hot & sour soup. The Mongolian Beef lunch plate was presented with a balance of Mongolian Beef and Fried Rice. A fried won ton skin tops it off. Very good food. Very attentive service. Free 2nd glass of iced tea. The broth was delicious, and they were lots of goodies. The veggies were not too hard or too soft, the shrimp were tender and flavorful, and I loved the wontons. It was a very good soup. The chow fun wasn't as successful. It was a bit oily. I could actually feel it leaving a film on my lips. Saying that, it was tasty. Again, the proteins were tender and flavorful, they just need to cut down the oiliness a little bit. There was enough food, that I got several meals out of it. The price before the delivery charge was very reasonable, for the amount of food that I got. Unfortunately, to us this was mediocre at best. We tried the Mongolian beef chow mein, and we're expecting actual Mongolian beef with the onions in the crispy rice and the peppers, but it was only meat on top of chow mein. We were also excited about the chow mein because the noodles had such great reviews. We found them to be flavorless and had to add a ton of soy sauce. Then we tried the orange chicken, which sounded delicious by the description and the reviews. It was chicken thigh, meat, and a pieces were quite different. Some of them were tasty, and some of them were odd. I don't know that we'll be back, probably not.
