The food is so good here and never been crowded, but we get there pretty early for lunch menu, super prices and huge amount of food for a great price! Deducted a star because they advertised mimosa but don't have OJ? They gave my daughter a glass of wine instead, not a mimosa lol, maybe a language barrier? Service is fast and friendly, just wished I lived closer, I would come more often. My mom orders from here weekly from door dash,

OCT2025 Probably one of the better options I've had in the area. We had gotten food for delivery, and wait times were short for food to arrive. We had ordered the house special eggplant, orange chicken, and vegetable chow mein. Everything was cooked well, portion sizes were nice. The eggplant probably better on location due to the nature of it, but the flavor was good and the sauce a nice additive. It also came with hot and sour soup, and a vegetable egg roll. The soup was good for here. The orange chicken was a lot and sauce got everywhere during transport, flavors were decent for it.

I have been here so many times because the food is just too good. I live in SF and this is my favorite Chinese food I have found so far. Every dish I try, I love so I had to write a review. We always eat in the restaurant and the food tastes fresh, hot, and delicious. The orange chicken is crispy but also light and airy on the outside. Th sauce is sweet and a little tangy. The chow mein is always a hit and don't get me started on the eggplant. We tried it for the first time and it is now my favorite. Crispy and fried on the outside with a sweet sauce. Sometimes I don't like the texture of eggplant, but this was perfect. The staff here is very nice, the restaurant is never too crowded (I think they do a lot of take out orders), and our food always comes out fast. I would give higher than a 5/5 if possible.

@ St Francis Center 138-B Calistoga Rd Santa Rosa, CA 95409 Wow, what a great find in Santa Rosa! This was my first time to China Village. I didn't expect to find this in a Safeway shopping center. It's a large restaurant with plenty of tables, rich and colorful decor, and a bar. Decor/ Interior (5/5). I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and shown a table in the back half of the dining room. I told the server I only had 30-mins, and could I have a small bowl of Wor Won Ton Soup. I went to use the restroom, and when I returned to my table, they were serving my soup. That's quick service! Service (5/5). How was the soup? Average at best. Maybe it's because they made it super fast. It was considered a "small" bowl, so it had 7-8 dumplings. It had a few pieces of meat and shrimp. But the zucchini was undercooked and hard to eat. Usually chinese restaurants use bok choy or napa cabbage in the won ton soup. Food (3/5). If I'm in the area, I'd like to return and try the Seafood Tofu Claypot dinner. Next time, I won't be rushed. This place would be good for large groups or parties. Free parking in lot.

My first time at this location. The space is expansive and light. Staff very friendly and kind. That right there priceless. I ordered from extensive lunch menu. My food arrived so quickly I had yet to finish my hot sour soup and egg roll included in lunch special. Sorry I ate it before I thought to take a pic. lol. I've been craving the crispy noodles for a couple weeks. Today that is no longer true. The noodles are crispy and fresh just the way I like them. The topping is also fresh and so delicious. It's not a dish offered many places outside of China Town. So I felt very fortunate to have for lunch today. The servings are so large for this you might want to bring a friend to share. It's a long drive but I was close by running an errand. It was perfect. Next time I'm returning with my oldest granddaughter. She loves this dish too.

I found this restaurant on Yelp by the grace of a higher power. I arrived after the lunch crowd was gone and the restaurant was empty except for a few people who came in to pick up their to go orders. Hannih greeted me and asked where would I like to sit? She also brought me a menu. She explained that I had just missed the lunch specials but encouraged me to come back and try next time. I chose the sizzling platter with chicken and vegetables. The presentation was outstanding and it put a smile on my face. Joyce was super friendly and very attentive. The sizzling of this dish made me feel fuzzy inside. This will be a new spot for me to return to. It's located in the plaza with Safeway and there's plenty of accessible parking. I also enjoyed the hand made vegetable pot stickers, they were so good with the sauce on the side. This was a home run for me.

Food was delicious! Went there with a friend for her birthday and it was so good I returned later in the week. The two ladies I met that work there are great!!

When we walked in, there was only a table of five customers at the end of their meal because the wait staff just delivered them the bill. I asked for a high chair, and she looked at my daughter and said she's too big for that, but I immediately told her my daughter can still fit in (btw, my daughter is very skinny and young and she prefer high chair everywhere we go out to eat every week, and the last one being only 3 days ago). The waitress didn't even bother to go grab the high chair and just walked away to the counter that is located in the back toward the kitchen. With this attitude, I will give one (1) star especially when the restaurant was not even busy at the time. The high chair by the way was very sticky that leaves stickiness on your hand after touching it kind (i.e., not clean). Another observation was that the waitress was more focus on the other dine in customers who were at the end of their meal than coming to our table to start taking order or at the very lease, offer drinks - it was already passed 6:00 pm and the restaurant was still emptied, everyone was hungry so what's up with the nonchalant attitude? Our party consist of three adults and a toddler, so we decided to try out the family meal at $28 per person that comes in a fixed choice of 1 won-ton soup, broccoli beef, sweet and sour pork, and a chicken dish. We also added a side dish of veggie chow-fun (wide rice noodle), so the entire order without the drink, taxes, and tip was over $100. For the food items we ate, I can only give a 2 out of 5 star rating because they all had one thing in comment - neither taste good or bad but with expensive tags. I didn't get sick after dinner so 2 stars rating is all I can give. All I can say is the food is safe to eat but not great. Some of the positive reviews were about good customer service, but we didn't experience that last night. Some reviews indicated how delicious the food were, but I don't agree based on my dinning experience. Therefore, overall, I can't give this restaurant more than 2 stars. Side note: on the way home, I told my wife that Panda Express would have been a better choice if I knew our dinning experience outcome a head of time.

We've ordered a lot from here, and I can't think of anything we didn't like. If I had to pick a favorite, it's probably the hot and sour soup. It's a perfect combination of hot to sour ratio. I've had it in a lot of places, and they just get it right every time. The string bean chicken is also one of my favorites. It's very flavorful, and the green beans are very fresh and cooked perfectly. We also really like the asparagus chicken, Mongolian chicken, walnut prawns, moo shu chicken, and the potstickers. My wife loves the sweet and sour chicken, and my daughter is all about the wonton soup. What's funny is we've never actually sat down and eaten there. I always say we're going to, but usually when we're in the mood for Chinese food, we just want to take it home. Every time I go in though, the place looks really nice and has a great vibe. We've just gotten into the habit of doing pickup. At this point it's just kind of our default. When we're in the mood for Chinese food, this is where we end up.

We had gotten chicken chow mein, mongolian beef, eggplant and tofu clay pot, sauteed string beans, pea shoots, turnip cake, and egg custard buns. The mongolian beef had pretty good flavor tho it tasted different from the norm. Different brown sauce of sorts. Still cooked well though since it worked in this case. The string beans and the eggplant/tofu clay pot were cooked well. I liked the flavors on them tho the clay pot needed stronger flavors. Usually for clay pots it would sit in the sauce and be practically enveloped in it. That and the chicken chow mein were both a bit bland unfortunately. The pea shoots had pretty good flavor and garlic but were a tad undercooked; hard to chew through. Turnip cake were decent, custard buns were still on the cold side. The fact that Hang Ah charges $8.45 for an order of har gaw or shu mai today when just a few years ago this dish was half the price at most dim sum spots puts a money chill in my very bones. But the fact is that their flavors are on point brings me back in the future. I had one of the best turnip cake dim sum I have ever tasted. Crispy fried with some great flavor through and through. I would order this dish every time I visit in the future. But I would also request that they sear it on both sides for optimum tastiness. The har gaw and fried squid were also full of flavor. I do think that in the future I would request the squid extra crispy as it was a bit undercooked and limp when it should be crispy af. :-) The spot is typical of Chinese restaurants in terms of ambiance and service. All in line with my expectation. My only complaint is paying near $50 for 2 orders of dim sum and one entree. I hate 2026 prices.
