Amazing!! We went with a party a party of six. We visited on a Monday and upon entering the place was empty. But after an hour or so the place was crowded and busy during the lunch hour. When I was expecting my daughter, for some reason, one of the foods I was always open to eating was Pad Thai. During one of the days that I wanted some pad Thai, my go-to place was closed and we've ventured to Santa Rosa and found Thai House noodle soup! I am not over exaggerating that one week, I think we ate here three times. Hilarious right? High key pregnancy life. Since then, we have been back quite a few times and we usually ended ordering the same things. I still love their pad Thai but I also love their Panaang Curry. Hubby usually gets their hot and sour vermicelli soup, but sometimes we also get the Tom Ka soup or the Pad Woon Sen. When we are feeling particularly over the top, the Thai iced tees and coconuts sticky rice with mango are also incredibly good. Service here is usually pretty fast and the food has always been very consistent, at least for the dishes that we order. Prices are good for the consistency, as well as for the serving sizes. Parking is hit and miss on the street- depending on when you come, sometimes it can be pretty chaotic with the JC and the schools nearby. The biggest downside to dining here is the location. Almost every single time I have dined here, there have been near misses of pedestrian v vehicle in the crosswalk and one visit there were probably close to five near misses. On my most recent visit, I almost had to give another diner the Heimlich which was quite stressful. Overall, this has solidly moved into my number one favorite Thai restaurant, with the consistency of flavor, quality of ingredients, and price. All I have to do is ask to be sat away from the windows so I don't have to watch the crosswalk, and remember to always take your CPR and first aid classes so you're up to speed in case there is an emergency. It's just good to have regardless of where you are or what you're doing. Definitely will be back! read more

Ok so I love this place so I had to go back this time I wanted Pad Eggplant but then I saw Black Pepper Beef so they combined it for me and it was ridiculously delicious with nice presentation. Speaking of presentation how cute is the Thai Iced Tea with the Teddy Near ice mold and it was delicious and refreshing. The service is always spot on I came here for lunch again since I was in the area this is always my first choice. We had a great experience at Thai House Noodle Soup. Bibi did an amazing job serving everyone. Even though she was the only staff member working during our visit and had several large groups to take care of, she remained friendly, attentive, and incredibly fast. Her hard work and positive attitude made our dining experience even better. The food was delicious from start to finish. The Pineapple Fried Rice was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Tom Yum Noodle Soup had a wonderful balance of spicy and sour flavors. The Pad Thai was tasty and well prepared, and the Roti was an excellent dessert to finish the meal. Came here for a spontaneous dinner. Quaint place, decided to dine in instead of carry out. Customer service was pleasant. Ordered the Tom Yung Goong, which was delicious and had a huge serving size along with rice. They put a cute heart imprint in the rice along with the Thai Tea Bear in Thai Tea. I haven't had Thai in a long time and my father asked for Thai for his 75th birthday. So Thai it is! Looked up a bunch of locations and there are so many in Santa Rosa! We ended up choosing Thai Noodle House Soup. I chose to order the Spicy Seafood from the Chef's Suggestions with a side a rice. We went here twice on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We have been to many Thai restaurants in SoCal and wanted to see what NorCal had to offer. Positives: -taste was authentic, we enjoyed pad kee mao, fried rice, and mango sticky rice. I ordered takeout here. It was a handful of dishes, including a curry. The quality of the food is fine. Nothing to complain about, but no better than your average Thai place. I won't order here again. Here's why: I walked through the front door about 15 minutes after I placed my order. After a few minutes the hostess/waitress approached me. I explained I was there to pick up my takeout order. She told me to please wait, so I took a seat. I had noticed a takeout order sitting on a shelf behind the front counter, but figured it must be someone else's. Well, after waiting 15 minutes she told me my food was ready and handed me the order that had been sitting there since before I arrived. Terrible service, and I tipped ahead of time. To add further insult, they don't include a serving of white rice with their curry dishes. I've probably eaten at 50+ Thai restaurants in my life and I've never seen one that was too miserly to include rice with a curry dish. $19 for a mediocre curry with no rice. Never again. read more

I think I just found my new favorite Thai spot in Santa Rosa! I've been wanting to come and sit down here for a while because of the raving reviews I've seen! Off the bat, we were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was so kind and attentive throughout our entire meal. We ordered Papaya Salad (Medium) and Calamari for appetizers. I love the freshness and crunchiness of the papaya. The medium was not hot for me but for the other people in my group they could feel the heat. Calamari was excellent. Then we ordered the Boat Noodles, Khao Soi, Basil Fried Rice (Seafood), and Pad Thai. I mainly came here for the Boat Noodles because it's so hard for me to find it in Sonoma County. Being born and raised in Thailand, this one brought me home! It was so rich and flavorful. It brought back lots of nostalgia for me. I HIGHLY recommend you try this if you come here. This was my third visit to Thai House Noodle Soup Restaurant, and I'm so glad I came back! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really love the airy, welcoming vibe here -- lots of windows, fresh energy, and such polite service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have an incredible variety of soups -- way more than most Thai restaurants -- and everything always tastes fresh with beautiful presentation. Tonight I had the Racha Noodles, which were so flavorful and tasty. I love that they serve it over open flames -- super cute presentation -- but since I prefer my seafood a little less cooked, I just moved the pot off the flame once it reached my perfect doneness. It's fun because you still get the tableside "show," but you can control the cooking to your liking. I also had the fresh roll, which was beautifully plated and delicious. Another fun touch -- they serve iced tea with little teddy bear-shaped ice cubes (I didn't get a picture this time, but it's adorable!). Parking is street parking only, but I've always found a spot easily for both lunch and dinner. Saw this new Thai place was earning some nice yelp reviews so wanted to give it a try for ourselves. As we entered we were asked to sit in the booths by the window. I immediately noticed everything was clean and new. The server mentioned they've been open about 4 1/2 months. My husband wanted to try the khao soi, his favorite at Thai restaurants, and I was happy to see that they had basil chicken on the menu. We ordered the roti with curry dip for our appetizer. The appetizer came first. The roti was cut into triangles and the curry dip was flavorful. Our meal was off to a good start! Our beautiful entrees arrived shortly thereafter. The khao soi comes on a deep plate, not a bowl. It was very pretty with an orchid bloom decorating the dish. The broth was delicious and included an entire chicken drumstick. My basil chicken (no onion), was seasoned well and it came with a heart-shaped serving of rice (such a special touch). My dish also came with two orchid blooms which dressed up the dish a lot. The food is delicious and there are several menu items I would like to try so we'll definitely be back. The server was courteous, helpful and friendly. She refilled my water and chatted with us whenever she came by. Restaurant was easy to find. North of the JC and straight across the street from O'Reilly Auto Parts. The Tom Kha Gai soup was very watery and the only flavor was sweet (no beautiful galangal or any depth of flavor); this is the worst Tom Kha i have ever experienced. The chicken was dry and way overcooked. The fried rice was Luke warm when it arrived like it never hit a wok at all. Grossly under seasoned. I needed to add plum, soy and Sriracha. Just okay. For Santa Rosa, I was expecting it to excel in American food so I was surprised to see a bunch of Asian restaurants pop up when I Yelped for "food". How unoriginal right? When I really didn't know what I wanted unless Yelp's algorithm purposely directed me towards something that I wanted but, didn't know I wanted. Clearly I didn't know much about Santa Rosa because I had low expectations going in, and I was thoroughly surprised at how good everything was at Thai House Noodle Soup. The combination beef noodle was flavorful and the pad Thai tasted super unique, probably one of the best pad Thai that I had ever had. I can't explain what it was, but everything tasted authentic. The lychee tea was refreshing and the iced dog added a cute touch. The only thing was that the portion seems a bit small, especially with the fried banana with coconut ice cream. Good amount of ice cream, just wished there was more bananas. Still, everything was so good and if I am ever in town again, I would love to try more dishes. Suksan wan Songkran! I unfortunately am not with my Thai family but I was able to enjoy Thai new year with a taste of home with my wife. With a warm smile, my wife and I allowed to sit wherever we wanted and chose a corner spot. With soothing soft music playing in the background we helped ourselves to ordering quite a few items. To start we got the chicken satay and som tum (Thai spicy), both were fresh and savory as a first course. For mains we got the khao soi and pad see ew with pork. The broth of the khao soi was rich and had me wanting more. The different textures from the crispy noodles and tender chicken meat, me had me feeling of home. For dessert, we got fried bananas with coconut ice cream that cooled our mouths from the added spice of the pad see ew. Easily fed our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young children) it's full of sliced pork, bok choy, and house made dumplings. The broth is so savory, flavorful and obviously made in house. Visited here recently for the first time. I've been really enjoying Thai food lately, in general, and saw this was a place I had not yet visited. We dropped in during the afternoon, and were warmly, and promptly seated. The interior is clean, simple, and comfortable. They have a wide range of noodle soups, and I chose Khao Soi - a personal favorite and a staple of Thai cuisine. Since it is a large bowl of noodles and chicken, and pretty hardy, I did not try any of their appetizers, though it looks like they offer quite a few. Everything we had was served hot, and fresh, and was very tasty. I like extra spice, and they were happy to indulge and brought me a tray with 4 different kinds of things to spice up my meal.
