This is a mom's and pop's burger spot. Nothing fancy. Portions are large, and my family can eat left overs for multiple meals. Some believe the prices are high, but you have to consider the portions purchased. My family loves the burgers, pastrami, and deluxe quesadillas. My favorite is the lunch boxes. You get your item of choice and it comes with fries, onion rings, fried zucchini, and a small ranch dressing side. Now they charge you a "service fee" if you want to use a card, which I believe is illegal. Also, the quality of the staff has gone downhill as well. First, steak sandwich "special" and chicken breast sandwich "special" was a total of $37. This isn't a great place by any means, and avg of $18 for a combo is just ridiculous. After checking the reviews on Yelp I noticed lots of people talking about the food overpriced and being charged incorrectly. When I asked for the price check in my bill, I was given three different prices until they finally got it up to $36 and gave me $1 back. "None of the menus have the correct price." That alone, I'll never come back. Second, they have a B rating. I know, eat at your own risk and this is my fault for ordering after I knew this fact. I decided to check why they received a B rating and found out one reason if because of improper defrosting of their poultry. That's enough, I read no more. I won't come back. Lucky guys never disappoints, they have delicious burgers but also great Mexican food. We even had them cater an event a couple of years ago and everyone was impressed by the food. Me, I can eat anytime. So I spot this local Mexican restaurant with a drive through. They had a taco special for $7.50. Four street tacos and a drink. I ordered two Carne Asada and two Pastor plus a Coke. The order came with two different little containers of hot sauce. The Chile Verde was my choice. I thought the street tacos were great. I have been meaning to try this place for quite some time now, unfortunately today I was one Unlucky Guy to step into this restaurant and buy their overpriced, disgusting food. I payed ~$15.00 for a Cheeseburger Special & a Thousand Island dressing, I know times are tough for all of us, but for this price i expected good food. To start off; -the burger was soo dry that the lettuce was the only thing with any flavor. I'd have a better time eating cardboard at this point. -the fries were dehydrated (not crunchy or soft) they tasted like if they were microwaved. -the soda came in a very small cup, 2 sips and the soda is gone. Now the Thousand Island was the worst of all, it had an overwhelming taste of spoiled milk mixed with other ingredients. Completely disgusting! I'm sure they are trying to cut every corner that they can, and at a price value of ~$15.00 for a Cheeseburger Special, they are out of their minds with this very underwhelming and disgusting food.
